The exterior of the business is in a stale and industrial setting. The interior and the bakery items couldn’t be farther apart. The inside is charming, clean and friendly. Lots of items to choose from. Many desserts and cookies. They also offer frozen ethnic Polish dinner items, Perrogi, Golabki etc.They have free Placek (like a polish coffee cake in a loaf) (yum) if they pick your first name on a Thursday. Today was our day. Thanks for the Placek.! We will be back.

One year ago they made this beautiful cake for our wedding. We got the raspberry almond cake. It was delicious and everyone really enjoyed it! We had a really good experience with them all their staff were very helpful and polite.This year for our one year anniversary we got an 8 inch cake for free and it was even better than I remembered!We will definitely come again for any future celebrations!

What a great place with yummy polish goodies. We wanted to buy everything.The staff was pleasant informative, and kind. The place is clean and comfortable.The prices were competitive and the pastries and bread are worth the price.In the area? Dont forget to stop here. So, this review comes with a bit of a disclaimer: This is an amazing bakery for some things...but definitely NOT for their macarons! We excitedly purchased some today and ended up throwing all of them out 😬 All of them were hollow and the taste was another disaster altogether...heavily synthetic and chemical taste...we couldn’t even decipher the flavors. HOWEVER...the chocolate mousse cake, cookies, breads and literally everything else was fantastic. The staff was friendly and inviting, and the price point is super reasonable. I would absolutely recommend this for everything... except the macarons. Really, I’ll be getting that chocolate mousse cake anytime I have a sweet tooth. Best dessert I’ve had in Buffalo so far! 😍

I am polish so I know what polish cheesecake tastes like. I had bought a piece from here and honestly threw it out after 1 bite. I have never had cheesecake that tasted that bad.

I live in lancaster but have never stopped at this bakery. On Thursdays they have free placek if your first name is the name of the day. My name popped up and so I decided to stop by. I also purchased a birthday cake macaroon and a pastry heart.The pastry heart was fresh and soft on the inside and had a crunch on the outside. Best Ive had in years. The macaroon was large in size but it was awful. The particular flavor I purchased tasted like sugar but also had that weird flavor of chemicals like food coloring or something. The placek was very good as well.

We were referred to Chrusciki by many friends who have used them for wedding and shower cakes. We called and set up an appointment for our complimentary cake tasting and we knew THAT DAY we had to book Chrusciki for our wedding. The cake and frosting flavors were phenomenal and the prices were competitive. We cancelled our other cake tastings and booked immediately. They delivered our cupcake tower all the way out to Batavia, NY and set up our cupcakes and cake topper just as we wanted. The wedding cake coordinator was fantastic with communication and made sure our cake was perfect down to every last detail. I know at weddings there is always a ton of cake left over, but we only ended up with ONE last cupcake (that was quickly picked up by the best man). I would highly recommend this bakery to anyone looking for a great tasting cake at a great price with excellent delivery and set up.

Chrusciki Bakery is definitely someplace that everyone needs to visit at least once. When you do, youll find out what theyre all about. Daily homemade baked goods that are second to none.I dont work for them or know anyone that works there, but I am giving you my opinion. They are simply the best Bakery around. They come up with new items very frequently and I just tried their almond ring. I loved it, because its not overly sweet with just the right amount of filling. Even the dough has a hint of almond . I urge everyone to try their desserts and some awesome Pierogies. Youre going to thank me for the heads up.

I ordered a cake for my husbands birthday. It was red velvet with cream cheese frosting. It was absolutely phenomenal! The cake lasted in the refrigerator for almost a week before it was completely gone and it was still moist and delicious. The cake was also decorated beautifully. As for the staff, they were all extremely friendly and accommodating and the cake was ready when promised. While I was there, I purchased an almond ring to bring home as well. That was absolutely delicious! I will definitely be back.

Over the top! I wanted to make a special shout out for the wedding trays they made for our kids wedding. Everyone is FAT now! It was such fun trying them all. The cake was fantastic. It was the most amazing dessert Ive ever had and everyone asked about the bakery. They really did make our event more special than I could write... and we now have more folks who wish they were Polish!

I’ve followed them for so many years, starting with the Broadway market. Their cakes and so many other items are excellent. If you don’t see something they’ll make it for you. I never had a bad item, ever. I love the smiles and home made goodies. You will not be disappointed. The flavor is exceptional. Just wants to say thanks again for the placek was delicious and the farmers cheese pierogies were out of this world. I actually looked at them my first impression was theyre small but when I cooked them omg the flavor was amazing and made up for the size so worth the price once you taste how amazing they are!

I have recently found myself in a situation where I needed a birthday cake for my 2 year old on short notice (meaning Next day by noon). I called and spoke to Ania and told her what I needed and what I was hoping for which wasnt a lot given the extremely short notice. Ania made everything that I wanted possible and more. Such a nice group of people to work with and their product will speak for itself. I have always bought cakes from a bakery much closer to my home but the flavor and texture of the cake and the fact it was still moist 3 days later Chrusciki Bakery has won my business. I cant possibly say enough about the bakery as a whole. This place is a must try!! You will not be disappointed.

The People are Friendly & the Desserts are Heavenly, however not fond at all of their Pigs in a Blanket! Way to much Garlic & Not Enough Tomato Sauce! They should just stick to Desserts!

Got a cake there and wow do they go overboard with frosting. It was way to thick and to sweet. The price was ridiculous for such a small cake. Plus bought a cherry almond coffee cake, it was over loaded with almond.I will not be visiting this bakery again.

Very disappointing! Purchased a cannoli filled pastry and 6 (SIX) flamingo cutout cookies. I was shocked first of all with the price of my order, It was $34.00. I had to ask a second time to be sure I heard correctly. Second, there was no flavor, the puff pastry chewy and not flakey, the cookies while beautifully decorated had no flavor either. I will not be purchasing or recommending .

The Paw Patrol cake I ordered from here was so beautiful and tasted great. The children loved it. Such a fun cake.

First, the cake is one of the best Ive had - Italian meringue, fresh fruit, and an amazing display of real roses on top. But second was the customer service. I do not want to go into personal detail, but what was planned to be a happy occasion had become somber. Family and friends still wanted to be together for support, so we decided to alter the cakes design a few days prior to coincide with the change of events. Chruscikis heartfelt apologies really touched us and they quickly made all alterations necessary without additional cost for the last minute request. We really appreciate what they have done for us and have probably gained several solid new customers for their actions and their product. Thanks again!

I saw a shared post, by a Friend on Facebook, of the letter cakes and loved them. When I called to see if they could do them for my daughters graduation, it was a little last minute (about a week away) but they accommodated me and said they would do it!! So our 6 year old was turning 7 and we wanted to have a cake made from a drawing that she did when she was younger. My wife and I took the picture in and the guy behind the counter was more than thrilled to accommodate us. He took the picture to his decorator and they were thrilled to do it as well. They also squeezed us in as I only gave them about a 3 day notice. Long story short, my daughter loved it, my wife and I loved it, and even the customers that saw it when we picked it up, loved it. Trust me, these guys will not disappoint you. (And the cake tasted great too!) Thanks guys!

I have been going to the store at the broadway market with my parents for years. I recently started going to this store for the last couple years. Always a positive experience. Ive bought cookies, pastries, Chrusciki (of course), and recently ordered pies for Thanksgiving. We are never disappointed. We will be stopping in for placek soon also. Everything is always homemade and delicious.

This is actually our third cake we have ordered over the phone, and every time its absolutely perfect. We travel from Springville to get their cakes. Worth every penny!!!

I feel bad writing this review, as so many other reviews are glowing! But, I recently received a birthday gift from family last Saturday and I was so excited! I had heard so many glowing things regarding your baked goods. But I was very disappointed! The chrusciki were not flaky, as I remember them but dry and heavy. I also received a large tray with Apple filled pastry and a glazed almond ring. The apple pastries were well filled with apples, but the pastry was on the tough side. The almond ring was so tough that I couldnt even cut it with a knife! Even though there was a goodly amount of almond filling, even a small piece was very difficult to cut. I even tried taking the layers of pastry and filling apart, but the pastry was still stiff and dry.Other family members have ordered from your bakery and have raved about it! I guess the bakers were having a bad day! Well, theres always next years birthday!Diana Janeczko

We recently celebrated my daughter’s 8th birthday decorating cupcakes at chrusciki bakery! The kids had a blast and it was just something different to do! Natalie was patient and took her time demonstrating step by step instructions, and the kids thought it was awesome to be in the “employees only” part of the bakery :-) each child went home with 6 decorated cupcakes!

I see all the good reviews and Im confused... I finally went to Chrusciki Bakery...I wanted to go sinced they opened... I bought the Fig Cookies, which are my favorite cookie!! I was very disappointed werewhen heyi tried to eat one while driving home... So dry and you couldnt even see the Fig inside... All you could taste was dry dough and sugary icing... I had to throw them out. I also had an almond horseshoe...VERY DRY. Ill stick to Eileens Bakery...

Ordered ahead of time. Received an email the order was ready to pickup. Arrived to pickup and they ran out of one the items I ordered. Kind of defeats the purpose of ordering ahead of time and no courtesy call to let us know something wouldn’t be fulfilled. Food is Okay, would suggest not ordering ahead of time though.

They go above and beyond for their customers, and I love that they are always adding new items to their menus! I recently visited and got some of the new macarons and they are AMAZING. The strawberry and birthday cake are my favorite flavors, and they recently added coconut and matcha flavored macarons that are also delicious!
