Seems to be the best choice for cable services if your in their area. I find the bundle pricey & havent really compared it cuz I dont need cable or phone....I just need the web, which is sufficient for me.....Great, fast service folk....usually arrive the next day.

Place was fine, they dealt with me courteously enough and I appreciate them. My only complaint isnt even on the store, its from the folks over the phone. They knew I was trying to set up the EBB and wasted my time trying to sell me something that the EBB wasnt compatible with, that feels shady.

We reached out to Comporium because our internet had been slower than normal. A tech came out quickly and replaced the router with a brand new one and now our download speeds are 5X what they were. The tech, whos name was Rick, was friendly and answered all my questions. He took his shoes off when he entered and worked very quickly. This was the same tech who installed our service when we moved here a couple of years ago, so its good to see that Comporium has good employee retention.

I switched from cable too fire tv stick, setting it up was very aggravating, phone technician was very nice and patient with me, but if you have any issues Comporium does not send technician out in person all issues are over the phone, I had so much trouble with cable for Seven months my volume would drop and tv picture would scramble for three to four hours each day, and they was not able to solve this problem, after I switched too the fire stick very poor tv reception, picture has poor color and looks terrible, I am so very disappointed, on a scale of one to five my score would be 0 if they had that number, I am so very disappointed with Comporium.

Employee was friendly and very knowledgeable about the phone I purchased. She explained the trade-in of my older phone and the dollar amount that I would be charged towards my monthly bill. She also asked if I needed any other items, such as a phone case, without pushing a more expensive one. I would definitely recommend the Stonecrest location.

Visited store to cancel my TV service. Although I was on hold on the phone for almost an hour when I called in, when I finally gave up and drove there I was able to get it done within five minutes. Didnt ask any questions, didnt try to upsell or cross sell me.

As a 5 year customer, I am very unhappy with your service. I have not upgraded, I have never had a disconnection, yet now I am paying double what I stared just 4 or 5 years ago. You do not care about your customers at all. I may have considered an upgrade had you not kept raising my price without one. I wish I could give this 0 stars. If you have any other option, do not go with Comporium!

I hope that my encounter with Comporium will help to improve the customer services to others. Comporium monopolize Lancaster not allowing any other company to come in and are quite expensive. When this was addressed to an associate she recommended dish or direct. Was informed that they would start using streaming, I believe, customers would receive one fire stick but if you had/ needed more than 1, another could be purchased for $50.00 each. Firestickes were being sold in various stores for less than $20.00. Had an encounter with a young white associate that was quite rude, I did not feel that he wanted to be bothered since he was in an area conversing with other associates that did not acknowledge me either. On the up side there was one Africian American that was very attentive and helpful. I really dreaded going in if she was not there.

Staff was very good to work with ... understood why we had to cancel the TV cable service. Comporium was going to raise our current contract from $144 a month to $ 190 a month ... because were being treated extra special with a promotion the prior year. Now it was time to pay up when the contract expired !!! This incudes an internet/TV bundle. So we canceled the TV and kept the internet service, since Comporium has a monopoly in the area with internet service. And, of course it is waaaay overpriced at $ 70..00 per month, when competing services in other areas charge $39.00 for a higher Mbps ... So we installed an HD antenna(works great) and kept the overpriced internet service ... since we have no other options in the Fort Mill area. Again, the staff was efficient and professional and understood our common sense course of action.

Just try to get someone in customer service to help me decide what plan is best for me because the quality goes down but the price continues to go up. Most expensive Ive ever had and the worst customer service Ive ever experience. I heard her texting while I was trying to speak to her because I noticed she seemed like she didnt care. She said she wasnt and then I heard the noise you hear when you get a text. Total waste of time. Very bad company. They dont really want to help you just take you money and give you the cheapest experience at the most expensive price.

Very cordial. She was a good salesperson. The original new bill was 237 and change. She got it down to 213 and change (plus tax). Not much real difference, but it feels better. The internet is quicker. I do wish the audio and visual glitches would be fixed.

Savannah and I (Wendy Seegars) came into the store to put our service into my name, my husband and Savannahs father, was killed in an auto accident September 5, 2020 so I needed to put the service in my name. I was told the switch was fine and walked out. The next morning I had NO internet and a job to go to at 8:30am. A Ms Starnes, went over and beyond, to get my service back on by lunchtime. The gentleman at the Hwy.9 location had not completed my order is what I was told was the problem. So, I was not really pleased with no internet, but thank you Ms. Starnes for expediting the process of getting the problem fixed.

Incompetent tech that came out to fix my internet made it worse. He not only didnt know what he was doing and had to be walked through it all over the phone by someone else. Even then he failed to set up my static IP, that I pay extra for, and upon calling back because my internet speeds are slower than dial up I find out he used the wrong hardware. So now another tech is coming out to fix this techs screw up. If we had any other option for internet, I would change in a heartbeat. Comporium is the worst ISP I have ever dealt with.

This review is not based on my most recent visit but on the reason for the visit. I moved and turned in my modem to this store back in early Sept. however there was no record of this and I was being billed for the old address and the new address. Even though all payments were current and my current bill for the old address is due on 11/22 and the new address is on auto bill which comporium acknowledged in a letter dated 9/23 my service, without any notification, was shut off on 11/4 and was told I would have to pay a $35.00 reconnect fee. When I went to the store the lady said there was no record of my turning in my modem but when I mentioned that she was the one who accepted she finally agreed there was a problem and assured me that I would get a credit. This confusion could have easily been avoided by better communication from you to me

I bought my home four years ago and the only internet available through them was low end DSL. I got it anyway and never even got the minimum speed they said I would. After a few months I receive a letter in the mail saying they they are sorry for the poor service in my area and I can cancel with now termination fee but they were working on getting high speed internet in our area soon. I now have an AT&T 4G box for my internet because even after 4 years still nothing in my location. Even though 1.5 miles in any direction from my house and there is cable internet. But they are working on it...

I went in today to exchange my remote control and the customer service people are all standing up behind their desks..I dont know who came up with this idea but it seemed very impersonal, you have to stand at the door to wait your turn as if they want to rush and get you out of there...I will bet who came up with this idea went back in their little office and sat down. Please give those employees some chairs And redesign that place to make customers feel more welcome. I would have given one star but Teresa was very nice. Oh please please add a drive thru.

We’ve had 3 different cable companies in last 10 yrs (Comcast, Time Warner (Spectrum) and Comporium). Comporium is easily the best. They’re customer service is strong and the people we’ve dealt with at the Tega Cay office have been straightforward and helpful. We’ve had virtually no downtime in any of the services they provide us since we switched to them 4 years ago. No service company is perfect, but we have been pleasantly surprised by Comporium.

It turns out the Arris router/modem was not the problem and tech support was able to help me identify and fix my internet connection problem, even though it was not on Comporiums end. If I could give -stars, I would. Since I live in this town, there is nothing else to choose from so there it is. Customer service is awful. To even find a phone number you have to go through a million rabbit holes. After installation, I found out that you have to have a box I order to get a channel guide. Of course this is extra. To get a basic channel guide, you have to pay extra. That is utterly ridiculous. Oh in order to get service set up, you must wait at least a month. Oh I was on hold for over an hour to then have a rep tell me that they can’t fit me in for a month. Just sad.

Comporium is a terrible company, I would never use them again. Every 6 months they jack your bill up an additional $5-10. I have to call and renegotiate my bill everytime. They do not offer any reasonable packages, what once was a $90 bill for basic plus cable-roughly 200 channels and basic Internet is now $155. Its highway robbery. Their staff is rude and irrational. This company is a monopoly in most places and they know it. They would not survive one day of competition in a large city. Comporium is the worst-youve been warned! Stay away!

The data aloud for cable modem even on elite package is so small, but when you request a bigger package, of course they dont offer it in our area. They are more worried about providing fiber to the new neighborhoods an forget the loyal an original customers from the start! Without the original customers the company wouldnt be where it is. Thank goodness TWC will be here soon. They will be more than willing to provide updated stuff for old neighborhoods!

Went 2 months having internet issues before they said it was the box. You would think with all the money people pay, they could at least tell you it needs upgrading. Have been with Comporium for almost 3 years and have had multiple problems. Our connection is consistently terrible. I called and talked to their tech support and was told that I would need to change the location of our modem/router and there would be a $50 fee to come out and do it for us. They said it could possibly be our equipment as well. My other problem is they are constantly raising their prices. The last time I spoke with them about this and told them I was going to leave them for AT&T they agreed to give me $42.95 for life (as long as I chose to stay with them). My rate went up AGAIN. I just called and spoke with Rachel and she said they would have my phone call records pulled (which I suggested) and would call me back. According to their printed records, they offered me that deal as a promotion for 6 months. For the coverage I get with Comporium, I would rather pay ATT $19.95 and get the same coverage. I miss Time Warner Cable...they were hands down so much better!

Comporium is so expensive. The charge for services is asking way to much. The employees are great and the service is ok but not great. Right now I dont have much of a choice but to keep it. Need to lower prices. Everyone else the prices are awesome except for Time Warner they expensive to. You charge way to much for services. Do something about it.

The “responses from the owner” are a con job. I just tried calling and was on hold for an hour. They have horrible customer service and will not accommodate you.This company has seriously gone down hill lately. They’ll randomly take internet down for “routine maintenance” (at least that’s what they call it, and sometimes it’s down for days, often with large areas unserviced. A couple hours I could understand, but days? I’ve never had internet service with anyone else go out for that long. And the worst part is, they don’t even acknowledge it, and they have super high prices for the service that doesn’t work. If customers call they don’t answer the phone, or if they do you get some sassy person that tells you there’s nothing you can do but wait... For days!People run their businesses, security systems, sometimes health assisted devices via internet, and to leave all this down for days is just unacceptable.This sort of lazy management is what happens when you don’t have competition in the area. Hopefully somebody else comes in the area soon.

The link I had on the card I was given did not work. Not a good start if you want a review. Then I was given this link and had to search for the area in which one posts a review. Again, not a good beginning.Re the service I experienced today: Steven Gregory (010053) did a great job of hooking up all the items. He experienced a few bumps, none of which were his doing but was professional and extremely pleasant. He was exceptional in getting my pc hooked up so I could get back to work. You are fortunate to have him in your employ!

A few things have disappointed me with our local branch, first no drive through. Elderly people and those, like me with disabilities cant/ dont always feel well or strong enough to walk in. Secondly I was treated very rudely when I came in to turn my land line off. If I had been treated differently I probably would have kept the land line. And of course I could not understand why my bill was so high without cable and only internet and WiFi. Its been a long journey but its now over.
