They have a good selection of materials and tools, probably not as good on the tools side as Lowes or Home depot. Im a military veteran so I prefer Lowes for the parking and discount but I will go to Home Depot for Milwaukee power tools.Menards is my last chance find what I need unfortunately. Im sure in other areas this isnt the case, the employees are friendly and the prices arent bad. Just more beneficial to me to go to the other retailers

Love shopping at Menards. I went to the Menards in Lancaster, Ohio. My son and I are doing some home repairs. We picked up some aluminum down spouts, brackets and screws.

Usually a very good place to shop. Usually the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Finding someone can be a problem sometimes but typically you just have to look or wait your turn. Typically checkout is quick and usually well staffed.

First time I ever stepped foot in a Menards and it was awesome. Their Halloween selection could have been better, but they had some really cool stuff.

I actually love Menards, and this one is no exception! We came here to look for kitchen flooring, and garage lights. Didnt find the flooring, but wow, my dad found his garage lights in record time, and on sale too!! BONUS!!Its always a fun when you enter these stores approaching holidays....ANY sort of holiday that you decorate, because the decorating fiends at Menards have been let out if their cages and its BRILLIANT!!! The entire front wall from floor to ceiling is covered with various and sundry items, entirely encompassing the upcoming holiday(s). Today, it happened to be Halloween.But I digress...many stores seem to be having issues with employees/staffing, they do not seem to. The staff is friendly, helpful, and at least while we were there, they were fairly busy.

Wide selection of any home essential you’d ever need or think of. I personally prefer here over Lowe’s due to the larger selection and better more spacious layout. Large outdoor selection including: brick, mulch, and flower bed decor. Their lighting selection is large also.

Their jingle is terrible because it is catchy and gets stuck in your head, Lauren at the customer service desk is helpful, so was D back in the pickup service area. Most of the staff are children who dont know how, or want, to do any actual work. The worst part of shopping here is that if you do have an issue with something, you have to jump through tons of hoops and talk to alot of people before any results happen. If each service desk was a one and done kind of deal that would make so much more sense rather than making customers run around the store wasting time and getting nowhere.

This Menards in Lancaster is better than the two in Columbus combined. This is because the staff here is friendly and helpful.

Menards is great, you can find a lot of home improvement things. The staff was very helpful

A much bigger selection and usually lower prices than those other 2 home improvement stores. And here, you actually get a cashier to check you out, unlike those other 2 stores where you have to fight the broken self check-out machines. With that being said, Im not a fan of the 11% mail-in rebate. The last 2 times, I never received my rebates back in the mail (about $50 worth). They should have an easier and better way... maybe online?... or an instant rebate?

Best prices around Columbus !!! I love this place .. And if youre delivering there thet are super fast unloading your truck.

Great Store. Has everything you would ever want. Plus they even had people to help you. We got a HOT Water Heater. Even had Great Price. We didnt even need it yet. But the price was so Great, we could not pass it up. Again I will say great Store.

I bought 2 rocking chairs, 2 regular stacking chairs, and small table online. After receiving my email for the 5 items, I went to pick them up only to be told they didnt have one of my rocking chairs Ive already paid for in stock.I asked why I was able to make an online purchase that was set for same-day pick up, if the item was not in stock at the time of purchase? I wouldve went to another location, and gotten the whole set, but now I have to make 2 trips.Im very irritated that no one even bothered to notify me my order was not complete.

We just went there to eat our fast food. It was nice although a groundskeeper was mowing really wet grass. It seems like it would be a great place for baseball or soccer games.

Group of female employees standing talking outside in the lawn n garden area. I asked where the lilac bushes were located since I had already walked around the plants twice trying to find them. One responded by pointing and saying if we have any they are over by the roses. I said okay as I make my way down the path again. I did finally find them but they were so dead looking they were unrecognizable. Only by the tag I saw the name but WHY do they look so terrible, its not even summer yet? A great many of the plants look neglected here. Very disappointing that youre asking top dollar for almost dead plants. I had just left Meijer and all of their plants looked well taken care of and fresh. Menards manager you need to go look at your garden department, it needs help.

We are from out of town and needed some things for our camper. The Menards all around our local area allows us to take our small yorkie into the store in a cart. We got caught at the door in this particular store saying we aren’t allowed to bring her into the store, like I’m going to leave her in the camper or truck by herself in this heat. ALL the stores need to be on the same page, I am now considering never going into Menards again and closing my CC

Very nice store the first time Ive been there my family goes there often. I bought a Serta mattress in a box. Really like it they were very helpful I would recommend this store to anybody.

Found what we needed. When we couldnt find the accessories we had a Menards associate take us to the aisle and help us find it. Very appreciated.

I love Menards. They have everything, but their prices are a little higher. To get good savings you have to use rebates, which nobody wants to mess with. They have helpful employees.

We called the Lancaster ohio store about placing an order online and picking up in store we were able to do so well my elderly grandfather was needing a few things so we order order get it paid and he heads up once we received confirmation I called store again to make sure items would be pulled for him and he would have help loading it into his truck I was assured on the phone he would....he gets home and no they didnt help or have anything other than light items ready and he had to pull and load everything on his own

At first I was leery reading reviews because Ive never been to a Menards and I do not live close. They had a product (insulation) that I needed that no one local did. At first glance, this place was huge. It is a Lowes and Home Depot and more. This place is great and the people were helpful. Prices are very reasonable and competitive. Attached are pictures from the pickup yard.

Every employee was very helpful and nice! Henry was great with helping us with the corrugated metal for my garage. Lauren did a great design for the cabinets that would go in the garage with some type of cabinets that look like tool boxes with diamond plate.Then my wife went into the greenhouse area and the young man working in there answered a ton of questions that we had.**So the overall experience with three different sales people in three different departments was excellent!Honestly, just a stones-throw down the road is Lowes and we have not had good experiences there. We will continue to shop Menards only.

If youre into tools and building stuff, youll live Menards like me. Great selection of lumber, far better than Lowes or Home Depot. You may find more variety of power tools elsewhere but all in all Menards should have everything you need and at decent prices.

Found exactly what I wanted, in and out in 10 minutes. Fast checkouts.

Used the app to order a fan online to be picked up and was sent an email stating it was on backorder. They refunded the amount, but still charged the processing fee. We shrugged it off and just asked where fans like the one we were trying to purchase would be located. We were directed toward the aisle to find the same exact fan we were trying to order. When we brought it to their attention that we were charged a processing fee, have to wait at most 5 business days for the original refund of the money, and had to basically be charged everything again, the employee was just dumbfounded and said there was nothing they could do. The processing fee was so small and I had the funds to wait, but please be aware when ordering online. This was either a case of a lazy employee that couldnt be bothered to look for the product or an improperly trained employee that they may not have known where the product was located. Either way, weve learned our lesson. If we ever do order from this location, especially online, and receive a backorder notification, we will definitely check before asking for our money back again.

Was looking for a solar charger and, found one a Coleman. And the Solar adhesion is and or has bubbles in it. Whomever does quality control, did a poor job of quality control. Because I wasted time and have to return for another. All in all very handy but poor quality.

Lancaster, Ohio Menards is ready for Christmas shopping. I needed lopers to help take down a small tree. A friendly staff member directed me to that shelving area and I found two different tool sets as well as individual lopers. Their grocery items were well well stocked. I have always found items I am looking for. They have a wide range of storage containers & some collapse for easy storage when empty.

Great prices in comparison of other DIY stores. Only wish I had one in my immediate area.

I hired a local contractor, Logan Matos, owner of Turn Key Remodeling LLC out of Thurston Ohio to drywall my kitchen ceiling. Huge mistake!! The companys information was made available to me at Menards.

We always fine what we are looking and more. Before to long we wont have to travel an hour away to shop, ours here in Athens Oh. will be opening soon. They will hopefully run our Lowes out of business. Lowes is a poor excuse for a store, mainly because of the clerks. At Menards when you need help those clerks can actually help you

Order online then pickup in the yard. Its the only way to buy materials. They really have the check-in checkout process down.In the store the staff isnt pushy and dont give you advice unless you ask for it. A rarity for a hardware store.I also like their assortment of unique buys. Foods and random stuff just scattered around.

Wearing a mask is very inconvenient. Not to mention counterproductive. I watched a man cuss out the greeter at the door just because he was letting people know that masks were required. Then, as I walked through the store, I saw people touching products and putting them back on the shelf after touching their mask. Whats the point of all of this? You are losing customers. Very unfortunate.

Store layout is horrible. Employees are always standing in the aisle ways so you cant get thru. And they never have items needed that you think a hardware/lumber store should have.

So commited to your safety that a dirty wash cloth is used to wipe the credit card swipe. And when you bring thos to managements attention the only comment back is Okay be in your way using a dirty wash cloth to wipe the same surface over and over is not protecting anyone. You are single handly making people sick. Do alittle research.

Helpful staff at customer service and in the store, just a bit much on the process to pickup the order since I needed a couple more items.

People were very helpful getting spmeone to get us a water heater down and put it in our truck.

I really appreciate that Menards required masks. I traveled well put ify way, so I could shop and feel safe. Too bad there was a shopping Karen who wore her mask pulled down below her mouth. Rude. I wish the men on lighting had asked her to wear it correctly.
