Best place in Lancaster for homebrew supplies. They have knowledgeable service. I called during biz hours and got the answering machine. Left a message and never got a call back. I feel that they are a little pricey but they are also very well stocked. The store has good karma.

I walked by this shop many times and never went into it over the past couple of years. I finally decided to give brewing a try this January and went in for a look. The staff were very friendly and were extremely willing to help me get started. Since then I visit the store about every other week and I have attended the All Grain Brewing Class that they offer. The class was very informative and actually gave me the kick that I needed to try all grain brewing.In all the prices are comparable to the online shops (once you add shipping) and the selection of products is excellent. I see no reason why I would ever have to go to another source for my brewing needs and I am proud to help support this local business.

Im still relatively new to homebrewing, so they not only have what I need, but the relaxed atmosphere lets me wonder and get some ideas about what I want to do in the future.

This store is not near my home. The Homebrew store in York is nice too. But I always stop in when Im in Lancaster. The staff is very knowledgable. I always learn something. This is where I learned how to make gluten reduced beer, that tastes just like real beer. Great selection of products too.

This place had everything I was looking for and the clerk seemed very knowledgeable about the craft.

The shop is well stocked with a full selection of all-grain malts, yeast, and hops. I have shopped at this store countless times in the last year and have never been unable to get what I needed for my recipes. I have been disappointed at some other local shops that when I drive out there they are sold out of a component I needed for the recipe I was planning, never at Lancaster Homebrew.The owner, Mark, is also very knowledgeable and will be a big help for those new to brewing. He is also a big supporter of brewing in Lancaster and supports local competitions, along with Ironhill. So if you brew in Lancaster, support this HBS. It is a good store run by a good guy.
