Great place to stop for a quick bite chicken tenders meals are delicious and adult slushes are yummy. Definitely a go to if your in the sixth ward.

Food is great, ordering is not good. The 1st time I ordered from there I put in a order for a cheesteak sub and the guy asked with onion sauce and cheese i said yes. Now I ordered for the 2cnd time the same thing. I get lettuce, mayo,tomato. And giving me a hard time to change it!

Food is always good and staff is friendly. The only complaint is the guy that is suppose to be working playing the machines!

One of the best build your own 6-pack selection in the area with rotating beers and breweries. Cashiers if talked to usually have pretty good knowledge of the beers too.

Service was ok. Shop isnt big but the selection is huge! So many great choices, it was hard to leave with just two beers. They had food too, didnt get to try it this time. I will be back and try to get through the massive selection!! Anyone looking for something new, this is the place to go.

I tried out this place in August had a gyro and it was one of the worst Ive ever had only had sauce and onions and thats it No lettuce tomato. I came here again today and ordered a cheeseburger sub and had bought a gift certificate from local flavor aka the coupon clipper I had a certificate and they decided to not honor it anymore claiming due to covid-19. Even though I already paid for the gift certificate back in August. I will not recommend this place first time the older gentleman was rude to me and other customers.

The beer selection is HUGE. The food is fresh and tasty. Frys, gyros, chz burger subs? Among my favorites in the entire city!

This place used to be open until 1 in the morning. I get that times and things have changed so they only stay open until 11 but 11 means 11. If the owner is going to condone them closing 10 of or a quarter of when their supposed to be open until 11 then I will not be coming back here. This was never an issue until this new staff came in here. the old staff could be grouchy and unfriendly but they did their damn job. This is also not the first time this has been done and I have been going here for years

Times are hard enough right now. I called Friendly Greek twice this week. They are OPEN till 10. I called at 6 minutes after 9, and the grill was turned off. The second time I called, was for wings for my son. I am a novice when it comes to wings. He was so short with me and not helpful at all. Food is good, but not worth my time if your going to be rude about it. Yes, they sell liquor, and Im sure thats why all the high ratings, because Im sure its not for the ambiance and service.

Pet Peeve: They charge you extra ($.50) to use your credit card. I get it ... if customers make only small purchases, those fees really impact profit. However, if Im buying $35 or $40 worth of merchandise, the fee seems to be less than necessary. (Some employees waive the fee. Thanks to them. Others do not.)There is one employee (or the owner maybe) who has always been unfriendly. Im tired of his unfriendliness, so even though the location is super convenient for me, it is unlikely I will return.Also, the few time Ive gotten their food, it has made me sick. I recommend NOT purchasing the food.

Staff was not friendly at all. What kind of Italian sub only has 1 type of meat on it. The 7 dollar stub was two pieces of cappricolla and two pieces of provolone. Very disappointing. The mozzarella sticks were very good though.

Great selection of all things beer (also some wine and wine coolers). Prices on domestic beer is very good and the selection of specialty beers and local breweries is very good. They also have pub style food (burgers, wings, subs, etc.) and the food is good, portions are above average and the price is decent. The decor, on the other hand, is wanting. There are very few tables and the place is well worn and shabby. They do a lot of take out business and it is quite popular with the neighborhood locals.

Dont let the shabby building fool you; FriendlyGBS have a surprisingly good selection of sours, stouts, and IPAs. Bottles & Cans. Breweries like Lawsons, Lagunitas, Goose Island & many more (in addition to your more run-of-the-mill beers/ales etc. Miller...bud...white claw). 👍👍👍

It is a handy beer stop. And you can get a beer and a cheesesteak up to somewhat close to closing time. The food wont impress, but was better than buying another Turkey Hill sandwich. Kinda pricey tho.. They make my useable list.

Huge selection of beer several on tap as well. There are some tables for in-house dining and sipping your drafts these tables are in the direct pathway of in and out foot traffic from the door to the checkout counter. so not ideal for a sit down or private meal but great for a quick break and cool off on a hot day walking around town.

Friendly Greek is exactly how the name says. The staff is very kind and the food is always excellent. Never had a bad experience.

The staff was more than helpful and knowledgeable. I didnt know what beer to get so I gave the staff dealers choice and told them to let her rip tater chip. Great beer. They listen to what you like and help you find a beer that suits.

Great selection of craft beers without all the pretension. Ever changing rotation of 6paks, 4paks and singles from tiny local craft brews to larger national brands. I can always find something new and interesting Ive never tried before. Also has tables and serves food but beer is definitely the high point.

Ive been going to The Friendly Greek since I was 21. The staff right at this moment theyre very good staff the customers seem to be pretty cool. They have great food my 4 out of 5 stars is based upon an experience that I had probably about 5 years ago. We had gotten a delivery from them and the delivery driver was extremely rude he was told to call when he got here and instead of calling stood there for 5 minutes. When he finally called and we went downstairs to get our food he gave us nothing but an attitude said that the Friendly Greek did not pay his cell phone bill so he did not have to use it if you didnt want 2 and then stood there after being completely disrespectful and then asked us for a tip. Im a delivery driver Ive never done that in my life and never would he was told to leave and thats the last time we have ever gotten delivery from them.

Wide variety of choices in beer. Even some. Ery exotic brands are normal fare here. The food is made to order, fresh and tasty. I enjoy my visits there

I ordered wings and cheese fries the cheese for the fries was gelatinous almost like Jell-O it tasted like water I was afraid to even taste it after looking at it the blue cheese dressing that came with my wings was yellow and old the wings were not done to my liking and dont even get me started on the boneless wings that I ordered that were all gristly and bready with no meat never again disgusting disgusting disgusting

Perhaps the best beer location in Lancaster PA and one of the only places in the city (not a brewery) that offers Growler fills no matter what type (or label) is on your Growler! The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, attentive, quick in ensuring your experience is painless and welcoming. I must say that out of all the beer spots in the city I have frequented this is by far the best location in terms of selection, staff, and atmosphere. If you live or are visiting Lancaster PA city area I definitely suggest you stop on by for a pint!

Ever since we moved into Lancaster City, this has been our stomping ground and Ill be sad the day we move away! Staff is awesome and down-to-earth, and theyre helpful when you ask questions. This is coming from someone who has social anxiety.Food is okay when you need a quick bite but not worth drooling over, but I cant say Ive had a bad meal. The fried pickles are aaawwwessome.I docked a star because bathrooms a tad gross, prices are a little higher; and they frequently USE THE ENDS OF OVER RIPE TOMATOES THE WORST OF CRIMES. If that bothers you, ditch tomatoes on salads and sandwiches. But I cant give less than 4 stars because I love The Friendly Greek.(Also they host a lot of tastings, have good stuff on tap that constantly rotates, and recently added slushies! Whats not to love?)

Gosh, I really wanted to love this place. It has a very impressive collection of beer and other beverages, such that I had to circle twice to take it all in. I love trying new drinks, so in terms of variety this place is a complete win. However, the crowd is draws is a little unsettling- the people I encountered while I was in there (multiple times) were creepy and unsettling. I was even followed out to the parking lot once. Not sure Ill be returning there alone, but I definitely will return for the selection.

This is a small beer shop that has a small kitchen attached. Prices were Ok however check your order before you leave, half of our order was missing. And they overcharged me for what I ordered. Food was cooked thoroughly (over done) and the portions were small for the price. Service was slow but that means it was cooked then, hopefully, Otherwise it tasted pretty good.
