Beware of this place, I was a loyal customer for years and took my car in to get inspected, they quoted me 600.00 in ball joint repairs. I took my car to a different garage for a second opinion, and they lifted my car and showed me my car was fine and needed nothing. I couldnt believe they tried to pull a fast one on a loyal customer. Very disappointed in Tang Auto.

My wife and I have been using Tang Auto for repairs and inspections for over 12 years. Mr. Tang is possibly the most honest and reasonable mechanic Ive worked with. He and his employees have never tried to push unneeded repairs, theyve always clearly explained any work needed, their quality of work has been excellent, and their rates are very fair. No complaints at all, I highly recommend them.

I learned about this place from my mother and when it comes to trustworthy, reliable, quality work for a good price and the man who owns it (tang) is very intelligent. This place is the best hands down! Ive never once had a problem taking my car here and every time I do when I get my vehicle I can tell that its done right! 10/10! If you dont know where to take your car this is the place!!

They fixed my car in a quick amount of time, and Tang himself took the time to really explain everything that was going on. I was impressed by the amount of detail. Something was draining my battery, and causing my car not to start. It eventually ended up being my cooling fan/relay. However, I was told that I didnt need a new battery more than once, so I was fine for a good five days before my car died on me again, being the thing that I went in there for in the first place. When I tried to call in, the other man who works there (not Tang) was snappy, telling me that hell attempt to fit me in six days from after the phone call took place. I took it to another auto shop, and lo and behold, my battery was dead/old/needed replaced. Im happy with the service I got from Tang especially, but Im unhappy with the fact that they wanted me to sit on a dead car for six days because they didnt want to look at it. Itd be different if I hadnt initially gone in there, but I was having the same issue I went in there for the first place. So, the initial repair was great, but the integrity with the follow up was not great. Take from that what you will.Tl;dr: the two guys working here know their stuff, but dont count on them rushing to fix a mistake they made/lapse in judgment/lack of testing. Human error is fine, and I wouldnt have had an issue with going in again, but the guy (not Tang) was rude, treated my dead car as a non-issue, and did not offer to make it right in any way. I wasnt given the time of day. Another mechanic took 15 minutes to fully test my battery and I was out within 45 minutes. My car has been driving great ever since.

We have been getting our cars serviced at Tang Automotive ever since they first opened. The service and prices are the best around!!! We have always been treated honestly and our repair bills have consistently been extremely reasonable. Unfortunately, we recently moved and wish we could find a place like Tang Automotive where we now live....but this type of service is hard to come by!!

Loyal customer for 10 years and im done. They dont answer their phone, dont call back, and the voicemail has been full for a decade now. Took my car for inspection and oil change. They did the inspection but found a simple problem they refused to fix. I didnt know until the next day because they didnt call me and didnt answer me the ten times I called. I finally had enough and just went in to find out that they dont know how to replace a leaking pinion seal, didnt do the oil change, where incapable of finding a replacement break light, and still charged me the inspection(that wasnt completed). To sum it up.. Tang does not care about you, does not care about your vehicle, does not care about your business. Im blown away by how this guy stays in business, even his own employees are blown away by the way he does things(or doesnt do them). I know hes cheap but honestly im seeing a lot of folk who he tried to rip off as well so I would just find literally any other decent shop for repairs, Tangs is not worth the risk or the hassle.

Mr Tang is the man. Hes the first mechanic Ive really trusted. He doesnt try to screw people over, everyone I know that goes to him is very happy. Prices are beyond reasonable. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a good mechanic.
