Good customer service by Mario and Roland. I do not like the fact that they do not give you the final price until you pay for the tires, but they honor the price that they quoted me. I asked them to put it on paper. Good deal on the Buy 4 tires get one free, with free installation. The store is closing and everything is 40% off right now Sep.18.21.

Didnt do inspection right the first time, ac freon leaked out when I was told of no leaks. Lost original screw to cover of Engine and lied and said its the original one. They put the original one on the radiator and I found it and replaced the original one myself.

I have a two door Jeep Wrangler with 37” tires. They were willing to lift my Jeep to do an oil change but claimed they couldn’t lift it and turn stock lug nuts to do a simple wheel rotation. It would have been a 15 minute job and the easiest money for them to make all day.

The place was clean and well organized. Only problem was they only had one person doing the parts and checking people out. Myself and a few others waited over 20mins just to get checked out due to this. Other then that the person was friendly and fast.

Came here to get my tire patched, employees had me wait in the service area for 10 minutes while they would just walk by and stare without saying anything. Once they FINALLY got to me they told me it would be a 2 hour wait for a tire patch lol. Went to America’s tire depot, it was free and they got started on it as soon as I got there

Called them for towing which was advertised as fast and reliable. I wait an hour and a half in the cold only to receive a call from a number in Tennessee telling me they are “still working on my case.” Called another towing service and they immediately dispatched a driver to my location. Should also note that while calling initially I was left on hold for 20 minutes, then about an hour in I tried to call back and was left on hold for another 30 minutes and never got through before being contacted by the Tennessee number. I’d recommend using any other towing service besides this one.

Ive been having my 2003 Ford F150 serviced here for years. Your service manager has always been pleasant and honest. But on this visit I only purchased a oil cap. The parts department representative was also pleasant and knowledgeable.

I go here for fleet vehicle services as I work for a large security company. Customer service here is great. They told me it would be about 45 minutes for my oil change and it was done in 30. Fast excellent service.

Showed up, said Jane Doe, battery install, 9am. Was asked if I needed to set an appointment, then if I needed to make a purchase and finally what are you here for. 3x strike out. Only Nissan in lot, tech uses panic alarm to find vehicle out of 5 vehicles. Tech asks for assistance twice, drops nuts in grille... Finally when just wanting my receipt and keys since this was an online purchase as evident with my printed confirmation from the beginning, I was told the balance 2x and told they need my credit card to cash out purchase. Asked for a manager, he pushed 1(one) button and out comes my receipt. He still tried to so for card. I point out the balance is 0 (zero), grabbed my keys and receipt and left. If you like incompetence, by all means go here. As for my family... NEVER AGAIN!

If I could give them a 0 star I would. Absolutely terrible. Went here 3 different times and was there no less than 2 hours each visit due to them either losing the parts I ordered or miscommunication among the staff. I suggest nobody goes here.

Larry, in the auto dept. was very pleasant & helpful with car wipers went beyond & put them on for me. Also checked to see the size of wipers on my car. I will return to Pep Boys for future purchases.

I ask if they could help my Change the battery and the respond was the tech is working on tires now and you know how techs are said the manager of the service department on the other hand the sales manager agree with the other manager which who help OK but if I would like to make an appointment for the next day maybe around 10 in the morning that would gladly help me instead I had to go back home to get one tool to be able to change my girlfriends battery.....ten minutes for the Manger to help my was too much for him to help if been on the other side of the table n I know helping a customer makes better business for the store... making a judgment call can make a difference

Poor customer service and they rip you off. Brought my car in for a diagnostic $100 BC it wouldnt start. They informed me it was my alternator and itll be a little over$400 for that. I paid for this and 3 days later my car stops while driving again the same exact way it did the first time. So I bring my car back to them and now they dont know what it is????? They told me to send it to a Toyota dealer. No! It sound like yall didnt know what the problem was in the first place and Im out$500 for nothing😤. Did I not pay$100 for a diagnostic?So I ask for at least a refund for the part and the guy flat out says no. No apology no one trying to comfort or help they dont care. They had oh well attitudes. They dont value their customers and they are over priced. You can find better elsewhere.

My hot rod and I love this store. For starters the people who work there are very helpful they didnt mind researching stuff for me when I was looking for the right part for my hot rod. They also gave me a good deal on the part. Theres a large selection of parts in the store including high performance and racing. But I also took my everyday Toyota pickup truck to them for a smog and they also did a very good job. I have no complaints, and I am a picky person. Last but not least they even tested my battery and didnt charge me for it even though they should have. All in all I give them a 5 star out of 5

Very disappointed, some of my friends always tell me to go only to AutoZone for parts and services and with reason. To my fortune I came across a flat tire and all tire service shops are closed on Sunday. I was happy that only PepBoys was open maybe give it a go for a change. took it in and At first I was told it would take 3 hours before being helped, in a manner where it felt like I wasnt gonna be able to fix my problem at this location. I was able to have the service clerk at least check the tire to see if it would be fixable and maybe leave it to get it fixed, sure enough the moment I pulled the tire out and without hesitation the service clerk automatically said NO, it was not fixable. A nail so small that it took me a few mins to find, the clerk saw in seconds and from a distance. Ill give him props for the good eye. The day after, I Went into a real tire shop and was able to have someone actually look at it more in detail vs getting a straight no. I understand that it must be hard to be really busy on a Sunday. But given that it is the only service shop open on a Sunday, I figured they would be more professional vs just easily turning customers away, managed to turn away from buying a full set of tires. Bad service overall, for anyone considering PepBoys, dont go when they are busy, youll get the cold shoulder and bad service in general, i will follow my friends advise and stay away from PepBoys. They are no good even as a last resort.

I called to find out if they do work on minivans and how much to replace a oil pan gasket. Dan told me $156. So I came in Sunday morning before 9 am and waited in line to get repairs. Found out it was going to cost me $311. I was upset because I found out then that the $156 was only the part. On top of that, they didnt even have the part. Needless to say, I wont be doing be doing business with them ever.

Had a radiator job done by them. They said they pressure tested the system and the radiator was bad and caused the the thermostat to malfunction. NOT TRUE, if they would have checked their work they would have seen i still had a coolant leak under the thermostat. It ended up being a coolant line that runs under the intake manifold. If they did a leak test and made sure the work was done correctly i could have saved myself time and money. I do not recommend for services

Too bad they werent more helpful yesterday as I was closeby and having car trouble. I called to see if they could put in some steering fluid as that was one of the messages. No, they couldnt be bothered. Turns out I needed a new battery which Im sure they probably had in the store. Instead, I end up spending half the new battery money for a tow home. Wont by the battery there now!

Stay away from this horrible customer service. I understand this store closes at 8. I pulled up at 7:59 and just needed to find a quick break light. As I was about to pull out of my van, I saw the manager come sprinting to the door and locked them. I would of understood if she said, Im sorry. We are closed and registers are locked up. I would of been happy if she just pointed out another service store. But no, she had a smile on her face and didnt care. Never coming here again. Autozone or Napa Auto Parts has better service then this

Ive had good experiences with other Pep Boys stores in the past but this one is just bad.I came in to get a TPMS sensor replaced because the light went on but the associate at the service desk was giving me a hard time. He was telling me I should just wait until they all need to be replaced. Finally, he got out his equipment and found out which sensor was low then wrote my car up.After waiting for hours, I was told the sensor was replaced but they couldnt get the warning light to go off. I responded that this has happened before and they need to reset the whole computer.They refused and told me the light will go off after driving on it for a while.Well, the light never went off. I came back a half week later and they said theyd try again. I repeated that the whole computer needs to be reset. They said they couldnt do that because their lead mechanic was out and they couldnt turn their computer on.So I came back when the lead mechanic returned. But the service associate still wouldnt reset the computer. He said its because they used an aftermarket part and theyre going to order one from the dealer and theyd call me when its in. Its been over a week later and I still havent heard anything.

This place is horrible!!!! We were out and about today and were told that one of our tires was near flat so being across the street from Pep Boys we drove in and worker looked at our tire and told us the side of the tire was very worn and had to be replaced. My husband told the man that there was plenty of tread and another man walked over and said oh, the side is worn, that tire is no good!. They said it would cost $116 for a new one. They did not offer to even take a closer look, to see if maybe there was another problem with it. My husband said that is a lot, dont you think?? They had nothing to say and did not offer to even put air in it! We left and got air in it and went to Tonys tire and got it fixed for only $10! It had a nail. The side was checked and was fine.

Be SMART dont get your vehicle repaired at any place like Pep Boys . You will and guarantee you will spend more money for vehicle repaires than the normal price. Go to a regular Mechanic that has his own shop.

Bad service, service manager Roland would rather stare at random ladies in the store than help customers.Dont bring your car here for repairs. I had a fully serviced AC in September before moving and a simple cleaning turned into them claiming that it needs $1500 in repairs.Took it to another place in AV and it was fixed for $300 to recharge and fix a hose. 100% Pep Boys trying to change for work that wasnt required.Pep Boys did reach out with an automated reply because of the bad review. I have no reason to do business with them again, and I made sure to talk to fleet services so they wont recommend drivers to use Pep Boys again.

Worst service...i set up at appointment at 7 pm in their website when i came early...i was refused. The retail manager told i cannot force them to perform service. Whats the used of appointment service in their website if this store will not able to perform...what if something happened to my car because service was not performed. If there is negative star i will...a matter of common sense here. I will terminate the customer service. Roland never answered my call...this is ridiculous manager. OMG...i received an email that i couldnt make it. This people are crazy, i was refused of service. This is the 3rd time...

This place is crap, absolutely crap. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE TO SMOG. I took my car in for a smog test and the mechanics unplugged my oxygen sensor to fail my test which was estimated at 40 dollars they told me to do a review since it failed it would be 150$ more. I declined and went to a smog center and my car passed with flying colors, they even checked my sensors before running tests and plugged everything back in. GO TO THE SMOG CENTER ON SIERRA AND K.

I experienced disappointingly poor customer service here. I set up an online appointment for an oil change and break service in the morning, and even received a text message confirmation. I show up for my appointment, and they had no idea. I was told Id have to wait at least an hour to be seen, and they wouldnt even get to the car service today. It was only 2:00. Im shocked that a large franchise like Pep Boys cant do business in the 21st century in a way that even pizza take-out restaurants can.

I needed a new battery for my Toyota Camry. Scheduled an appointment online was not in thier system when I got there. Waited 20 minutes before anyone got to my car. Thier website said free battery installation but all of the hidden charges are where they sneak in charges so not free at all. I ended up paying over $200 for a middle ranged battery. Never paid so much for one. I wont be back.
