Overnight parking permit, nice guys and good service

Listen to the one star reviewers before you come here. I am a fool and thought my experience would be different I am here for four hours now and not even a door number. As I wait, the money they are paying are getting thinner and thinner with every driving hour lost here. In the end of the day, it pays less than any other load than does not keep you standing still your entire DOT driving day. Lot be is where you will be camping. Get your self a grill to stay here for awhile.

Is this the worst place Ive been to... No. Is it the best place... No. This is based off of a rainy day, so yes it was a bad day. Checked in at Lot A around 2:30pm, appointment was at 4pm. Parked in Lot B until called around 7:45pm, then parked down by the docks. In the Dock around 8:15pm, loaded by 9:30pm, out the dock by 10:30pm parked back at Lot B. Now the reason that a rainy day makes a difference is because you will be required to secure and tarp the coils inside the building before getting your bills. So unfortunately you are at the mercy of the other drivers and how fast they do their loads. They run 5 docks for flatbeds and the loader is pretty fast. You are not allowed on your trailer once you are outside the building unless you are in the fall protection devices. Yes the docks are tight to get into, you only have about 2 inches on each side of your trailer.

Prepare waiting for more than 5hrs to load you,

One of the worst places to get loaded at, just placed it in my AVOID Locations list. Been in the parking lot for almost 5hours (and still here) after I checked in: no nr to call, no people to speak to, all key spots on site are located 0.3-0.5miles from each other and all you have to do is just wait to be called. Being monday today, that load screwed my whole week, because Ive got 1 hour left on ELD and not even loaded yet. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!Update: with this particular load I ended up with a total time on site of 10.5h, [2pm - 00.30am] from check in to being loaded. There was a nice american-cuban guy, (talked to him while waiting) called Carlos, that also got loaded after midnight, but he checked in at 11:30am the day before, a total of 13h for him.

Decent time getting loaded. Appointment was set at 4pm. Got here 1pm and by 2:30pm they finished loading.

Worst company in my life

First of all, all the good comments are fake. Doesnt matter at what time you will arrive there it will take 6 hours+ to load. Appointment or not, bye bye ELD hours.I checked the comments to late, hope you wont make the same mistake. Let the force be with you.

Reviews are true drivers and O/O beware I flatbed waited 3 hours no dock door yet, walked inside and saw same flatbed that backed in from 2 hours ago still waiting to be loaded, seems like they show favoritism to carrier that hauls for them too as security will let them stage to observe docks and ask you to move if you dare to get closer to see which dock will be free even if you are next, cheap rate and bad service some employees are polite though.

No complaints at all. Fast check in fast unloading. Overnight parking available. People friendly place and respectful.

If you like to spent time on pick ups come here you will have time to relax. 5, 6 to get louded

Very slow loading 14 hrs and 7 trucks in front of me 3 hrs in bay which any where else would be 15 to 20 minutes they need 2 people pulling loads if they want to wait until the trucks are in the bay very nice people work here but there in no hurry

Making a delivery: either enter off Manheim Pike directly across from Ford dealership and make a right to go through the car parking lot (its actually a road), follow it around to Lot A. Theres signs directing you. Or, get off 283 to 741 and turn left on Apollo, thatll get you to Lot A more directly. Check in at the little building at the back of Lot A and theyll give you directions on where to go.My dispatch told me to deliver between 8am & 11am with no specific appointment time. I arrived at 8:30am and by the time I got checked in, scaled in, found my way to the dock I needed to unload at (the Cast House) it was 9am. They started unloading me right away and I was empty in about 10 minutes. Scaled back out and was ready to roll by 9:25am. All and all, my experience here was good. And the people were nice.Also note, youll need a reflective vest, hardhat, and safety glasses. They have them available but I dont like wearing stuff a million other grubby drivers have worn.

Never had a positive experience getting loaded here. The do not value drivers time and treat you like a burden. The guys who run the check-in shed are friendly and helpful, but once you back into the docks all that goes out the window. Theres far better Alcoas to pick up and deliver at

No clue why theres so many bad reviews. Been here a couple times and as long as youre on time, youll get loaded fast. Good people. Awesome equipment. Really like coming here.

IM AN OWNER OPERATOR AND I TELL YOU THIS IS MY FIRST AND LAST TIME LOADING HERE!!!! GAURD WAS RUDE AND SHIPPING WAS EVEN RUDER! They are unprofessional. AND THEY TAKE FOREVER TO LOAD!

Best you can hope for is a drop and hook. If it’s a live load you’ll be sitting most of the day and burning your clock and loosing money. On the plus side everyone that worked there were awesome, nice people just sloooooow.

This place should not be allowed to operate. I know if you are checking this place that you got a load out of here.... 3-5 hrs to load, heavy, cheap.... They are costing us trucker money and seriously if they are gonna govern us they should govern mfs like these as well.

Heading here to pick up? Load better be paying 4$ a mile. Slow loading, appointments really dont matter only if your late. Youll be waiting anyways so it doesnt matter. Ive also never seen detention out of this place. Been here since 1130. Its now 1505. Dead head away or hauling something else around here. Dry vans and larger carriers have the rates cut and the appointments booked.

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER TAKE LOADS FROM THIS PLACE, REGARDLESS HOW MUCH THEY PAY YOU. The load was damaged because they didnt wrap and aligned it well. Asked to bring it back and didnt hear from them for 3 days. Eventually, they replied by refusing to pay anything for bringing that f.... load and blamed the driver.Another time got stuck here for 8 hours and they wrote only 2 hours. They are so f... cheap. The true s...hole.

These over paid lazy union workers need to realize that FMCSA only gives us so many hours a day to work. Waist all our time waiting to load. I say all trucker boycott this place, figure out another way to move their product........

I would rather not load here. They have their guards policing the tarp jobs and I dont like that. Claims insurance and good judgment should be enough. They did have a guy helping, though, and he was nice.

Nice staff, been loaded fast the two times I’ve been, but difficult to secure and tarp a flatbed in the super tight bays.

We got here at 3:30 pm and just now leaving. Its 10 pm. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT. Come here your whole day will be waisted and you if your on elogs you might as well forget it. Warn your company is you drive for someone else amd o/o dont book here if you want to stay on schedule. The employees are trash and they dont care about time. And they are extremely rude from the supervisor on down. I wont expect them to be in business but for a few more years or so.

Unless your picking up a preloaded trailer, youre going to be here for a LONG time to get loaded. Preloaded trailers have shoddy securements and theyll make you go to the tarping station if you dont want to use that rag they call a tarp on your load

Not fair that yard trucks take up 2 out of the three doors with their priority bulls@$#t while flatbeds take 2 hours to secure and tarp. Which means if ur not tmc or Boyd youre screwed. Funny how many times priority companies have changed hauling out of here. No one wants their cheap frieght.

If you need to call, get a extension number or know the name of the person that your trying to get ahold of. Their directory doesnt have departments. Only names of people
