They almost had everything I needed. Had to go to Lowes to get the things I needed, but usually I hit this place first as I like to support local businesses. They are always friendly and very helpful here. Love this place!

They greet you when you walk in the door and ask if they can help you find something. If you dont need any help thats cool. But if youre looking for the widget that goes on the whatchamacallit, theyll help you find it. Plus they have a Stihl store and a repair shop inside. Nice.

I was looking for a new saw blade for my old Sears skill saw. It has a diamond pattern to set the blade. I had been to Harbor Freight, Lowes, Home Depot. Someone at the Lakewood Lowes said to go here. I did and he said just punch out the center of the blade and youll have your diamond pattern.I asked if he would take it out as I was working on my daughter place and she has very limited tools. He popped it out and I was on my way.Cant believe that the other business didnt know to pop out the center. Thats why it is important to support your local business.

Never once have I had a bad experience here. Definitely cant say the same for the blue big box store up the street. The employees are always super helpful and knowledgeable about what they sell. Literally had what I was looking for every time! That says a lot! Big box stores lost a customer to Lakewood Hardware for sure.

Wow ! This place is the definition of going above and beyond! From the second we got there they were helpful and kind. We asked where the carts were and the employee ran and grab us each one without a thought . i was talking to my mother about not seeing typical strawberries and another employee came out of store to hunt them down then when i was mistaken about the type he looked them up and gave me all the information with out a hint of i told you so BUT WAIT THERES MORE he then carries my plants in then boxed them up and even though we were parked close to the door the first employee we encounted carries them out to the car ans stacked them neatly and safely. I wont waste time next time im in need i for garden or harware needs o will go here first!

My go to hardware store. The service you receive here is hands down the best! Not everyone knows all the exactly what they need and if you go to Lowes and home Depot good luck getting some professional help. here at Lakewood Hardware these guys know the business not just what theyre selling they know what products are the best they know what products you need for the job and theyll make sure you get the right things at the right price. They deliver, they rent stuff, they are all very knowledgeable and very helpful. Once you go here youll never go to another big hardware store again unless you have to! That I pretty much guarantee. And they do very well at being in the same neighborhood for all the prices.

Great costumer service! I will go here over the big hardware chains from now on. They really took care of me! They helped me find everything I needed, offered a military discount, and helped me carry my stuff out to my car. The store doesnt look big, but theyve got a great selection and theyre pricing is great, if not better than the bigger chains.

The staff at Lakewood Hardware and Paint are always knowledgeable and friendly. Typically, they have what I am looking for in store, but they will order it in for me if what I need isnt in stock. Ive been shopping there for almost 20 years, and have not been disappointed a single time. I encourage everyone I know to give them a shot first before they look anywhere else!

So impressed with these guys! Took in my car key to have a copy made which is a chore to begin with because its the original key from a 96 Honda. Lakewood hardware is a great place to shop. They have all kinds of little knick-knacks needed for projects that cant necessarily be found at Lowes or Home Depot. When I cant find something at Lowes I can always find it at Lakewood hardware.

This place is a breath of fresh air. It’s where your dad would go shop! You get quality service there. If they don’t have what you’re looking for, they can order it. Chris is their small engine guy and he is a miracle worker with chainsaws and all of my yard equipment.Even if the price is slightly higher, they will price match. I don’t even ask anymore considering they were literally walk me to the part that I need!

These guys are great. I’ve shopped there as a regular DIY guy and now a small local business owner and they rock. Their customer service is ridiculously on point. The guy Chris who works on equipment/small engines has serviced my stihl chainsaw and blowers and I begged to have them done quick because I needed them for a job (I should have planned better) but he still came through.
