Basic head shop, knowledgable staff, sometimes they can give off the pretentious vibe but overall excellent shop. Nothing here is really over priced in my estimation.

This is basically the only place in town with a good selection of tobacco water pipes and tobacco grinders and tobacco rolling papers.A real triple threat.They even have a good selection of the pre-rolled cigarillos where you take the tobacco out and then put your own tobacco in.

It was packed on Sunday Christmas shoppers were out but Greg,Gabe and the staff were fantastic had everything stocked and everything I needed

Nice helpful workers

Came in from out of town with my friend to get some nose rings. A bald man “helped” us and was extremely rude. Made both me and friend feel extremely unwelcome and like we were troubling him by getting his help. My friend said he was new as there was another bald gentleman there who has worked there for a while and is extremely nice. The lady who checked us out was also very nice it was really just the rudeness of the first man that put me off almost to the point of shopping somewhere else. If I knew i could have left without him yelling at us I would have.

Closed by 6pm on a monday, i guess anybody with a job cant spend money here

Classic Lakewood Head Shop. The owners and staff are extremely nice. I went in for a couple items and they actually hooked it up with one of my items for free, it was fathers day. Bought my first hacky sack here back in the 90s. Glad they are still around.

This was the only head shop that I would go to when I lived in Lakewood. I have never had a bad experience here with staff or even other customers. I love their selection of pieces as they range from affordable and getting the job done to beautiful pieces of local art that are definitely worth a little more. They often have pieces that are relevant to pop culture. I absolutely love my grinder that is shaped like a Pokeball as Pokemon was one of my favorite shows as a child. This was the only shop that I went to that carried these. I only saw them elsewhere online and I really didnt want to deal with the hassle. They have wild berry incense which is the best smelling in my opinion. They have fun posters and huge colorful tapestries for pretty much every budget. They often have really cute headbands and I still have 3 that I purchased from there that I wear quite often. And being a girl who loves her jewelry (of all kinds) I can get lost looking at their jewelry display when I walk in. My husband often has to pretty much pry me away to look at whatever we went there for. They also have a nice selection of candles and air fresheners that work and smell very well. I miss going here and I will definitely return the next time i get the chance. I hope that this Daystar remains for years to come.

The selection here on Detroit is better than the one on Lorain. Great knickknacks, beautiful hand blown paraphernalia, t-shirts, old records, jewelry. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. This has been my go-to shop for incense for the past 20 years, since I was a teenager. I used to make special trips there from Parma with my friends & I still do to this day (although I live in Lakewood now). I burn multiple sticks of incense every day so I go through it quickly. I have never found a better selection (or price) at any other store. Every staff member I have conversed with has been friendly & helpful. I recently bought my favorite lamp there (will upload pic) & the employee that day was so funny & helpful. He even switched the lightbulb out in case it was close to dying. Their pipe selection is also the best - the quality & selection surpasses other shops Ive been to. I will remain a loyal customer as long as theyre around!

Tons of great products, local or not. The employees really know their stuff and are passionate about their products. They have everything from pipes to plugs.

All sorts of hippy stuff in here, from bongs to t-shirts and it all smells of joss sticks and jasmine oil. And they let me buy a nice baseball cap for pittance, so Ive got to hand it to the staff here too, who are a friendly, extremely relaxed bunch.
