We decided to make a random stop at this toy store and what a treat it was! So many vintage toys, board games and other pieces of nerd culture. The shop looks small when you walk in then you notice an opening to a room full of toys from the 80s, 90s and today. The owners were super nice too and you could tell that this place is their pride and joy. Would totally recommend going here!

Went earlier this year. Could spend hours looking around. They have a bit of everything. Prices seemed reasonable. A fun place to go to just browse and relive your childhood.

Really enjoyed stepping back in time and seeing some old friends.. like Gumby and Pokey. My children loved the store.

Apple Jax is a lot of fun to check out. Great for collectors looking for specific pieces for their collection as they have hard to find and rare toys as well as some lower priced stuff they have something for everyone! Lots of 80s stuff. Hope they get more 90s/early 2000s stuff in soon. Overall would highly recommend checking out this spot you will not be disappointed!

I have visited Apple Jax twice and have had stellar experiences both times. Staff is not only knowledgeable, but extremely friendly. The store itself is organized and the displays are fantastic. Their product selection is unmatched- they have everything from the ubiquitous to the extremely obscure. They provide a top notch experience and I cannot recommend them enough!

Very nice and huge once youre in and walk around. They have everything you can think of from the time you were born and then some. A lot of nostalgia things that take you back in the day! The products are in excellent condition too. When I went to the back to look there was a man in the corner peaking and when I walked that way it was a Life-sized celebrity! Lmbo!😅😂😭......

I saw some toys from my childhood that I thought that I would never see again. The prices at this place are reasonable. I was extremely impressed by the display of toy they had there. They even had a few Evil Lin action figures from masters of the universe

This is a very comprehensive and organized toy shop and novelty store. As a child of the 80s and 90s, they had everything that I would have enjoyed as a kid there - from scratch and sniff and puffy stickers to Barbies to kitschy posters and everything in between. Owners are super friendly and helpful as well! Highly recommend!

This place doesnt really deal in what Im interested in, but since Big Fun isnt really around anymore this place can settle in that hole left in Clevelands heart.

Apple Jax is the one stop shop for your vintage toys needs. The owner is an authority on G.I.Joe. Someday when I grow up Id like to be as knowledgeable as him!

Spoke with I believe the owner on the phone today regarding tracking down some of the walmart exclusive reissue joe figures. His response is what warrants this review. He said that they currently dont want to sell them while they are in the stores because they do not want the reputation as scalpers!!! In this day in age where PS5s and every action figure in demand is being scalped and marked up beyond belief this was incredibly refreshing to hear. I visited this store a couple times about a year ago and bought some X-men Marvel Legends, a complete loose Visionaries figure, a WWF Pro Wrestling Illustrated issue with Hogan on the cover. The prices were fair and the owner or manager on duty at the time was very nice. There was a pretty big selection of toys from at least the early 80s until today. Quite a lot of GI Joes for sale. All in all I would recommend this store.

Great toy shop! Full of both older toys and newer toys too! I loved seeing all the toys from happy meals in the late 80s and early 90s as well as the plastic puppets from pizza hut! A walk down memory lane for sure! The guy who works there is super friendly! We will be back as my 8 year old thinks the world of this place- especially the 50cent machines with stickers! Great little store and a must see for young and not so young too!

I just visited and let me tell you, if youre looking for something for your child or like me a collector Alan is the man to go to. Incredibly diverse selection. I was born in 1985 and it was like reliving my childhood. Star Wars, Lego, GI Joe, Transformers, Ninja Turtles, Hot Wheels, Apple Jax has it all. Theres honestly just too much to write and rave about. Thats not even counting Alan and crew. Theyre the kind of guys that enjoy just talking about the products and collectibles. 10/10, would return for anything that I could get there. Prices are incredible. If you havent stopped in all I can say is youre missing an amazing experience, even without making a purchase. Go relive your childhood! Show your children what real toys are like! Or just stop on and have a conversation with Alan about whatever youre particular niche may be. They have it and they love to talk about it.

Great shop for toys and pop culture material that covers the last 40+ years. Service was courteous and pleasant and there was something interesting around every corner, literally. Great for shopping or just nostalgia.

This is a great place to go to get toys from the 1980s and 1990s. Alan, the owner, is a great guy and is particularly knowledgeable about GI Joe. If you miss the toy store on Coventry Road this is definitely worth visiting.

If your looking for old retro games that you use to have as a child or finding collectable you may find it here. They also buy old toys too of course bnb if its a set they prefer the whole collection but will see what they maybe will to buy it from you.
