Today I was at the 99 cent only store and was checked out by Leslie. She was on point in every aspect of providing excellent customer service. She even went the extra level and cared enough to help me save a little money on my purchase. Thank you Leslie and thank you to the management team for having such an excellent customer service person on your team.

Lots of space,great for shoplifting no cameras,grap an apple whos gonna know bite it put it back voilla,grab chips put the. Empty bag back .its a regular stop for the homeless.who could ask for anything more

The store had a big selection of fresh vegetables save money here before shopping at the regular stores you will be surprised👍

Since the rebrand they have gone downhill. High prices less selection dollar tree is better unless you want produce.

Parking is good and spacious. The aisles are spacious but might be a little tight for wheelchairs. Looks tidy. However, beware of prices! Prices of the most essential things I Buy, have gone up or their quantities have been reduced, which leads to the same thing. It is an oxymoron that the 99 cents store is becoming more expensive. Beware, check the prices before putting things in your basket to avoid sticker shock. For now, Id rather shop at the Dollar store which carry similar items but still maintain their prices. My opinion is that they should change their name to 99 cents and above stores.

I am so glad this 99 Cent store & up 😂is down the street from me because they sure have such a terrific selection of items, such as home decor and cleaning supplies as well as great sweet fruits and vegetables, the store is very clean and they do have a public restroom you just need to request the key from the cashier. The Halloween department is full of scary ghoulish fun stuff right now in late August. They are following covid 19 rules by greeting you with a squirt of antibacterial hand cleaner and a complimentary cart handle wipe down which I truly appreciate. They currently have alot of baby wipes and also found some plastic face covers and alcohol.

The one in Lakewood is typically well organized and clean. I appreciate that customers were greeted and got a squirt of hand sanitizer. This 99 Cents should be an example to the others in the area.

This store is ok.A little messy at times but dont know if that is for lack of cleaning or people not really cleaning after themselves.

Store is large and busy. I was there on a Sunday,however Ive been there 3 times and always fairly busy. Good produce section. The plants needed water. They were so dry i brought basil home to keep it alive. Checkout was quick. No free bags as Lakewood charges but you can bring your own. The store smelled like feces to me. It never has smelled but this was bad enough for me to shop quickly and check out. Store needs cleaned. No management to talk to and didnt want to bother either of the 2 cashiers. Many products are not .99 and are a few dollars more to several dollars more.i felt fooled by buying products that looked name brand but were copies. Not like other dollar stores

Soon as you walk in there is a person wearing a mask with 3 different bottles of Hand Sanitizer. Store was clean,everyone I saw was wearing a mask and practicing social distance.Overall a very good experience.Keep up the excellent work!

Im not a avid 99 cent store shopper anymore.Due to everything was 99 cent at 1 time or another. But for the most part they had what I was looking for. Will go again only if I cant find what Im looking for else where..

What can I say. Its the 99c store. Checkout was fast. I was in &out in less than 15min. Theyve got alot more green stuff/produce. And lottsa eggs.

Associate name Maira didnt greet me, she tells me to tell an employee that if I your using ebt to tell them first and look at the person that I was with, Maria didnt knowledge her when we were in line, but there a issue she look at someone else to speak to.

Cleaner than some other locations, and more spread out, but overall the same stuff.

This is a well stocked 99 cent store and the checkers keep the lines moving. I always buy the seasonal decorations here and they always have fun ones. I love the many selections of thousands of products too

The store is huge! My favorite .99 store in LB. Its clean and fully stocked with good brands. There are always alot of cashiers so as busy as it looks the lines move fast.

99ç store is well stocked... its produce is fine, but expect a better selection like others nearby. I love the great finds at very reasonable prices. Plenty of parking. I enjoy shopping here.

Good customer service

Horrible service!!! Staff is extremely racist and each time I go there my family and I have a horrible experience. My recent visit ended in my leaving my basket full on items on the ground. All the cashiers decided to turn out there lights( saying there lane is close) at the same time. The one lane that was open I walked up too and the cashier said she was closed too.. I informed her all the other lanes was closed and she completely ignored me. So, I said, excuse me! And she ignored me again this continued for a couple of minutes..I then asked to speak with a manager and was ignored again. Finally, after 5 minutes of being ignored the cashier stated she would take me but it was too late by then. I work in retail management and this is completely unacceptable. Please train your staff in customer service especially the older white women that wouldnt help me.

I just encountered the rudest cashier named Ingril. She didnt say Hi, hello, nothing, but she was very quick to tell me dont return Easter candy. No duh.. I didnt asked if I could in the first place.. usually workers are very nice there, shes not tho.

The store was jam packed with people, extremely difficult to get through the isles. It did save me money though, I didnt buy things I dont need. Maybe I should only shop when the store is full, lol. The gal at the checkout was very nice even after dealing with goofballs ahead of me!

I mostly go there at night after work and its quiet and calm. The cashiers are nice and they play good soothing music.

My go too store, they always have new products, clean and organize... staffs are friendly too.

This 99 cents only store has really improved, since my last visit a couple years ago. Their selection of products and produce is as good as any grocery store.

One of the employees was inappropriate towards me within the first couple of minutes I was there to shop for X-Mas decorations. He overtly checked me out and said I look beautiful. My hubby was outside smoking a cigarette. I couldnt get out of there soon enough. Didnt buy a thing and not coming back to this location EVER.

Today I was impressed with the cashiers. Friendly, fast service. The store has undergone some changes. Clean, neat.

3 days ago I was there, and then when I go to make line to pay everything, one of the cashier her name is Sofia,opened another line, and I asked to her,,do you going to open it??she ignore me, and she call to another guy.ifeel discriminated.I was like 20minutes making line and the other guy he came only less than 5minutes.everything its ok,but only this sussed disappoint me,thanks.

This place is alright, I like to shop here because it’s so close to my house, but the lines are terrible. There will be like 2 lines open when there’s many other workers there. And this guy out front just hassled me for money, they’re trying to raise money for the homeless but he was so persistent, asking me twice for money for the homeless even after I told him I didn’t have any cash on me. My dad saw how annoyed and upset I was and he literally wanted to flip out on this guy, 99 cent store should really regulate the people asking for money out front, it’s steering customers away because they don’t wanna get out of their cars because this intimidating guy is being so aggressive asking for donations, it makes people really uncomfortable. Please do something about this.

This one is awesome, airloom tomatoes, good wine. Not all of them have what the one on woodruff and del amo have. Dont go to those if you want to find things that are truly terrific.

Like most 99cent stores ive patroned...this particular site deserves 5s at all times..they pass on savings to customers, have a great variety of practically everything needed for every day usual needs...they help people with special needs, people with EBT benefits and are always busy...I always laugh when morons expect to be waited on and be able to complain to managers on demand...let these people work and continue to produce a great service to those that need it, demand it and are grateful for their existence...dont ruin it for those of us that appreciate them..I used to patron a Ralphs off the corner of Pioneer and Del Amo...they always had attitude, were expensive and had no people skills...they closed that place and now you know why...keep up the great work...and if I were to suggest improvement...work on more registers open at a time...5++++++at all times...

A good place to find bargain items. Some name brands are only a dollar here w/c are being sold much more else where.

This is not a 99cent 0NLY its a 99cent & Up..Maybe its a seasonal deal..but they do have brand products avail for holiday shopping highest ticket I noticed was $9.99.still a fair deal for the brands being sold (going/gone)...lines are long but in my experience went smooth..Nice size parking lot shared with Autozone nxtdoor..

I called to do a stock check and the girl who answered the phone didnt want to help so she passed the phone to another employee. She didnt understand what a tree branch was so she hung up on me. I called back and the phone just rang for good 2 min im sure they knew it was me again. They finally answered and I asked to speak to the manager since the employees were not helping me. I spoke to the manager and she finally helped me. This is why I gave it a 3 stars since the manager did help otherwise I would have given them a 1 or no stars.

Its an adventure because Im never sure what Ill find... The biggest negative is the constant presence of the pushy guys trying to collect money for a homeless charity but who offer little or no official documentation tobptove they are legitimate.
