Was crowded and hard to find items. There was a customer who was harassed a bit for a membership card. I wished they approached it discreetly than to embarrass him.

The an employee by the name is Sal who checks your receipt at the door; he’s rude, mean and unprofessional. I was so appalled by his behavior, I ask to speak to his supervisor to let them know of his behavior. Sal had yelled at me, and then accuse me of stealing, and when another employee discovered Sal was wrong…. he threw my receipt at me a reply “oh here you go”. Sal never apologize. His behavior left a bad taste in mouth.

If I could have left no stars I would have. The staff are incompetent. To say the least the customer service here at this location is way under delivered. They really suck at their jobs. Top flight cashiers and everything. They expect to direct business when their ethic is below par. The manager is completely incompetent, unwilling to have empathy or business ethics, beyond an etiquette sort of deal when youre coming here. Be sure to wear a mask because they do not practice safety, or general hygienic cleaning here. As far as I could see no one even cared to make sure that the place is kept clean and sanitized. There is trash as you walk down isles, misplaced items. The only thing I could say that was good that doesnt even pertain to this location is the prices. For all that negative information, I would pay more to go without. Generally speaking I definitely will not be returning to this location and do not recommend anyone to this location.

I went to their optometrist Dr. Pearl. I highly recommend this eye Dr. I will not go to another. He knows what he is doing. Friendly answers your questions and is fast so your on your way.

This Costco is amazing and has everything you need. The only thing that I dont like is the high tax rate compared to cypress Costco near by. I like the addition of the shelf checkout register. In the other thing I dont like is near return counter the have a machine that makes high pitch sound to keep birds away from food court and that drive me nuts.

The only reason I give Costco 4 stars is because it doesnt always carry the same products. So if you like to use certain things - dont get used to it. This location in Lakewood is just as busy as most Costco locations so theres no getting around that. Even if you go early, there are people literally waiting for the store to open. You can find good deals in bulk products and customer service is friendly and helpful. The store is always clean and Ive rarely seen the restrooms in disarray.

Love it. Also get gas there. I call it the $300 club because I never can spend under that amount. Friendly and helpful staff.

This particular visit the meat did not look fresh, the cuts off salmon were huge pieces starting at $40 and the produce was not as fresh as it normally is.They now have four self checkout stands, which wasnt there when I visited in June. I think this is great for those who run in to get a few items. I would say they took out two or three cashier lanes in order to accommodate the self-checkout stands.

Costco is always fun to shop at and then a big hotdog 🌭 when youre done

To be honest, this is one of my favorite Costco locations. Its always stocked, clean with ample parking. I can truly say that I have yet to have a bad interaction with any of the employees in comparison to other Costco locations. Smooth transition in and out.

This place rocks! What more to say. Big warehouse, lots of stuff. This is worth it if you have a large family or in some kind of business, etc. I do like the gas prices being a member. I would say this where it pays off more, especially with gas prices increasing.

I come in for diapers and formula and leave with a cart full of treasures. Im a weak human who cant fight consumerism and Costco makes me feel good until I get home and have to find places to store my horde of shelf stable foods and items I really only needed one of. I usually buy fruit that we cant finish and enough drinks and snacks that my neighbors assume were throwing a party that never happens (only pity parties in this house). I buy enough food to feed my family in case of an apocalypse and then stop at the food court on my way out for a pizza and a chicken bake.Im docking a star because I hate Pepsi and they have this really annoying chirping noise in the food court that I think is supposed to keep away birds. It feels like theres a tiny chalk board in my brain that someone (I picture them as a Costco manager) periodically runs their nails across. I get that birds are annoying to everyone and this is just annoying to a select group of people like myself, but the people who hear this would take the birds over this awful noise any day.

Signed up for the basic membership via a teacher promotion where I would get 20$ back.... The guy at the front membership desk told me that they could upgrade my membership to executive for FREE. He was very clear about it being free. So I thought to myself, sure why not IF its free..I check my bank account a few days later and see that were 2x charges on my account for $60 for a total of $120.I called membership services who confirmed to me that the store front membership desk has no authority to bump people up to executive for free. Luckily I will be getting a refund to my card in 5-7 business days.If I had not checked my charges, I would have been charged an extra $60 that I did not ask for. It is very difficult to trust a business that lies to you... I am very disappointed at Costco for this one. What else can you say about someone who flat out lies to you?

This Costco bangs, for years Ive shopped at Costco Norwalk...but after today, not again. Lakewood is a different breed altogether....!

Always a good experience at this Costco. Love their quick service and cleanliness. The food court is very convenient and seating is very welcoming. The employees have all been nice during our interactions.

So kind and and patience in helping me to find the riding chair I thank God for her its hard when you have disability some people dont want to be bothered but thank God for her she wks n lakewood😊😊😊💕

Missing many inventory items that we normally see and purchase at the Cypress location. Despite being disappointed by the lack of inventory, easy parking and checkout.

Costco!!! I live within 1/2 miles from one but I travel 21 miles to this Costco because of the gas price. $4.10 in Alhambra and $3.89 here. I think it’s worth it… nicer people around here.

Its a Costco, what more can I say? Getting totally fed up with Optical though. Was in Costco to purchase, then had to go pick up contacts. Wasnt sure if Optical closed at same time as warehouse or not, so when checking out called Optical - or tried to. 3 times. When I finally got there phone wasnt ringing. Pointed out to gurl her phone was broken. She didnt care. I got the impression she turned the volume off so she wouldnt hear it and feel guilty for not answering. Horrible. Oh, and when I got there I had to wait 20 seconds for her to notice me (it was empty), then she made me shout across half the department to talk to her!

I love shopping in costco. In Here very Clean and very busy everything looks good.

I was shopping at Costco today and my daughter seen a customer reach for the ground beef with a snake wrapped around his wrist, I screamed i am scared of snakes, I told some employees especially the guy who checks you receipt as you exit. They seem not to care

Gotta go to Costco for the big stuff like Gatorade and water etc. Go during the week to avoid the big crowds and lines to get inside. Gotta find my rebate check before it expires too. They have the new spring stuff coming out now like bbqs and wind chimes and planters etc.

Really huge Costco, bigger than any other Ive ever seen. But they are really speedy at the checkout registers. The day we were there there were probably 20 registers open, and each line was no more than 3 people deep.

Only made a quick visit this time, but Costco is a permanent destination on our list of shopping resources.

If have money dont come here, you will leave with none! They have the best food and products and gadgets. Its a love and hate experience!!

Staff always eager to please patrons. We go close to closing time; fewer people, shorter checkout lines.

I always go to another costco if I can and I live in Lakewood. The staff is mostly unfriendly and the selection is too generic compared to the other costco stores in Socal. The gas station is an armageddon-like, unorganized mess. Boo! Thumbs down!

I had recently purchased a lovesac from Costco.Com and I decided I wanted to purchase another one . So, I called Costco customer service and ask if I could purchase cash cards in a large amount to use on Costco.com with a cashiers check; she said yes. However, when I got to the store it was another story. I got there and told the manager why I was there, he escorted me to register 51 and told me a manager would be over soon; soon was twenty minutes later. This manager stood right in front of me and didn’t say a word to me. No hello, have you been helped, nada. He proceeded to speak on his walkie talkie as he walked to the exit door towards the membership counter; a very pretty employee came up to me and ask if I was the person waiting to purchase cash cards, I said yes. By that time the male employee who stood in front of me and walked passed me without uttering a word, returns and stops right in front of me. He never tales me his name, I noticed his name, on his name badge “john,” I explained to John why I was there and that I called customer service to make sure that it was ok to pay with a cashiers check. They even sent him an email stating this. He explained to me that he was not comfortable taking a cashiers check from me because they have had problems in the past with cash cards. I don’t get how my paying with a cashiers check can create a problem. I’ve been a member since 1985. I showed him my bank receipt showing a cashier check issued from my credit union and my current account balance. He told me he didn’t care about that, it doesn’t concern him. He explained he did not feel comfortable accepting my check and that he is the warehouse manager and he has the right to refuse my check. My cashiers check. Which according to Costco is a acceptable form of payment. However, if I came back with $6,700 in cash he would be happy to accept that as payment. Who wants to walk around with that much money in their pocket. Especially when you’re a female. I urge you not to call the regional like I did. I spoke with Lisa who told me to just wait and she would call into the warehouse to see if we could resolve the issue, she came back with a negative. When I ask for the corporate phone number; she informed me that they would just send me back to her. At this point it’s no longer about the check for me; it’s about treatment. The fact that his badge says,” member service is our number one job” but he never acknowledged me even though I was close enough to tap him on the shoulder. I’ll ask you as I ask Lisa and everyone else I talked to: “ if I told you to stand by the white car mark #12 and my manager will help you there, and you’re the only one standing at that white car #12; no else is there, and my manager comes by and does not acknowledge you in anyway… not a hi, have you been helped, not a hello or a boo, then walks all the way down to the exit door only to be told the person he needs to speak with… is you. How would you feel? My last 2% check was $694 and some change. My one for this year is $434 and change. I will never shop at this Costco again. He treated me like a thief and all but said so in action, words and deeds. Lisa at regional in garden grove was no better. I’m still waiting to speak with someone from corporate regional. We’ll see what happens. I did everything I was supposed to do. I made sure my form of payment would be acceptable. When I was told someone from Lakewood would call me (a part of his team) meaning assistant warehouse manager and given names of who may contact me; I wasn’t worth that much trouble and John had his membership manager call me to straighten out a situation that is clearly an upper level manager problem. When I called (425) again and told them what happened they said, that person should not have been the one to reach out to me. So they took it up a level and explained since it was end of day, I might not hear from anyone until Monday or Tuesday. So sad. There is so much more I could write about this day; however, mentally I’m exhausted, and emotionally, I’m drained.

Second time buying big screen TV here. Both Samsungs. First was a 55. The second one decided to go with the 65. Great deal. The ad on the floor showed it was sold out or out of stock. But that definitely was not up-to-date because there were 4 on the floor! The associate updated their sign right away haha! We scored and took that baby home! Yay!

Returned to get cauliflower rice stir fry .but was sold out. Great customer service though. Nice friendly service. I will be back🥰

Thankful for senior and first responder hours. Got disinfectant wipes, but no TP or Paper Towels. Really nice they help find inventory and want greater social distance. Felt safe and clean.
