I live across the street and the new owners are very friendly and really care about the store. The think the old reviews are a little harsh. They had to start new and the previous owners didnt have a fresh selection but they always have stuff that Im looking for now!

Walked in with the new person running it and there’s no selection. Just a empty store trying to look big. I will not be coming back if the selection is the same. Been there 4 times and it’s been the same. It’s even dirty and smells funky

New owner is creepy, I recently heard of the new person hanging out there. I miss the other ones. The place is so empty and not much of a selection. Even charges more than what the item is worth 2 times 👎🏻 Not coming back. Old owners were better more helpful and friendly.

We moved into BVV about three years ago. I was glad to have a convenience store across the street. It was under different management then. They had long hours (~6 AM - 7 PM, I think), but the selection was pretty poor. Id walk over for coffee some mornings (!!) or beer some afternoons (:-]), but I didnt visit often because there wasnt much else I wanted.Fast forward, the place got bought out by a new owner. The hours got shorter, and they stopped selling beer. I was cool with all of that, because the new owner was super nice and I appreciated all of his efforts to improve the business and draw in customers. Back then, Mark stocked different things than what had been offered before and seemed open to suggestions.Fast forward more... over the past year or so the business has REALLY gone downhill. The Covid-19 outbreak was a real burden because kids from the local school are an important source of revenue and for a while students were attending remotely. Maybe thats why the inventory became less and less diverse. It may also be why, now, half the time I try to go over there during normal business hours the doors are locked.Thing is, Mark added a U-Haul business to the location AFTER the pandemic outbreak. Rumor is, that has been very lucrative. Rumor ALSO has it he got in some sort of legal trouble, which is why he can no longer sell lotto tickets or accept EBT.I dont know how much of that is true, but Im sick of knowing that when I go over there itll be a flip of the coin whether its actually open or not. Id honestly rather have a 7-Eleven or other reliable convenience store. Its a great spot for a business like that, and right now theyre just taking up space.

Gas pumps aren’t workingThanks for nothingEDIT: if your pumps are temporarily not working—consider placing a sign on the pumps like other gas stations do.This would save people the inconvenience of having to pull in, try to use the pump, barely be able to read the faint text on the screen, having to get your sleeping baby out of their car seat, and go inside to just have the clerk say “oh yeah our pumps aren’t working”.I suggest getting some signs instead of being cheap and inconveniencing any other peopleThanks

Just moved here across the street. They are loaded with a big selection of things!The owners are very very nice and they welcome you as you walk in and ask if you need help in finding anything.Possibly the best service of customer to owner interaction I’ve ever experienced.They really help you with what we are looking for and try their best to either have it in stock or get it in the store on your request!Thank you guys so much for helping me everytime I go there.

Word on the street is that there really isn’t much of a selection and the prices have hiked up to what they normally were. I visited to see if it was true and the new dude just guesstimated the total witch was sketch. 🙄

Place looks so amazing since the new owners took over!I used to come here when the past owners owned this place, BUT since they are gone. The new owners have added so much and have a much better selection! They even got the Pepsi Machine fixed! 🙏

Being old is hard. Every time I visit. They recognize me right away and open the door for me and even help me shop by carrying my groceries.The young man that works there was raised so good. Always asks how my day was and how I’m feeling.I would rather go here than King Scoopers or anything.I appreciate the big help from the owners.God bless them.

The burritos now come from Santiago’s and they make the next door NON Mexican restaurant look like children cooking 🥱Would recommend this gas station for breakfast and anything you look for

Best service ever and cool owners!

These guys are absolutely terrible not only are they $0.20 per gallon higher than everybody else but everything on their shelves inside is expired their food bought a candy bar from them once that was expired by an entire year. When you walk inside the place looks like its on the verge of going out of business which wouldnt surprise me if it was any way because of how poorly its operated the owners are an Asian couple who are extremely rude they eat at the counter whatever food it is they cook at the store that they bring from their house to eat absolutely stinks and makes their entire store stink and to top it all off they close at 9 and they turn their pumps off at 9 you can still pull up and run your card and itll charge you a dollar to run the transaction but the pump wont turn on and pump gas for you absolutely horrible horrible gas station / convenience store the only reason I could possibly think that theyre still in business if they are relatively close to a High School. Avoid these guys if at all possible

Prices are high, but their wall of thieves is pretty funny though, dont get caught stealing here or youll be publicly shamed.
