I took my husband here to try for his birthday breakfast and we loved it. There are extensive savory and sweet options (most of the bakeries by us do not have enough savory). We ordered some for breakfast and some for the next day. We are already sad we didnt order more. We will definitely be visiting again very soon. My husband mentioned that one of the things he likes compared to french bakeries is that these are less flaky and crumbly so better to eat on the go or in the car.

The best way to describe kolache is having a delicious sweet roll full of your many favorite breakfast ingredients! Love to come here for breakfast any day of the week!!!Be sure to come early they sell out fast. I would love to give this place a 5 stars but today I bought 60 dollars worth of kolache and they packed my food poorly. Be sure to request everything in a box! Other then that I highly recommend this place for a morning spot!

Kolache House Bakery is a great small business to support! Fresh pastries baked every day, so get there early! My favorite savory flavors are the pizza and sausage jalapeño cheese. For sweets, I recommend the chocolate cream cheese kolache and of course the sticky buns! All great with a hot cup of coffee ☕

YUM! I tried the Pulled Pork Kolache - simply delicious! The Philly Steak Kolache was a little disappointing - the steak was a bit mushy and green pepper and onions were needed. They also have delicious desserts! I didnt try one - but next time.P.S. Depending on your appetite - you may need two for a meal - they are so good - they disappear quickly! Nice service!!!!

Easy to find and to see from the road. A small private parking lot. It is a bright and cheerful place. Visually pleasing. It was a little loud, as they had both the television and the radio on at the same time. It can be pretty busy during rush hour. I ordered a strawberry and an apple. I got a strawberry and a lemon. I had to ask for my receipt. It was a perfectly fine place. I didnt find either the place or the food to be spectacular in any way. But there was nothing really wrong with it.

Im glad this place hasnt gone out of business. Theyre one of a kind for sure. I like their kolaches a lot, but lately theres been some issues when I visited their new location, since moving down the street from the corner of Colfax & Kipling.1. Id watch the employee pull what I ordered off the labeled tray and heat it up, but then afterwards eating, Id find it wasnt actually the correct kolache on the tray that I ordered.....bummer.2. Later on when eating and you take your first bite, youre disappointed to find that some have enough filling, where others hardly had any. It was mostly bread.....that was even a bigger bummer. It hasnt always been like this in the couple of years Ive been coming. So Im hoping theyll work on fine tuning things. Give them the benefit of the doubt. 😉

These are good, but for the price, some of them are not worth it. The sizing on their kolaches are really inconsistent despite all having the same price $3.60. I feel like I got cheated. Over 20 bucks for 6. You be the judge.

This place is a gem! I’ve been craving a Kolache for a while and was happy to have stumbled in here after a night shift for breakfast. To start I ordered the bacon, egg and cheese kolache and the spinach kolache. Both were delicious and savory with the perfect balance of the filling and bread pastry. I then got the chocolate cream cheese kolache which was a sweet treat to finish ok! Nice space as well. There were numerous kolaches so I’ll certainly be back to try another combination.

There are two reasons why Im not giving this more than 2 stars.First, they are not served warm, which I find highly odd. I mean, they offer to nuke them for you if you want, but thats way less preferable than if they were kept warm using a warming oven or the like.Second, as others have said, they are pricey and the portions are small. For example, I tried the philly cheese steak. It was the size of a small dinner roll. And about a tablespoon of meat inside. The others were similar in size and portion of filling. On the plus side, the rolls themselves are good. The sausage and gravy one was the best.

Very good, I had a southwest croissant, big, poofy, flaky, spicy and delicious. Also had chocolate cream cheese pastry and an apple pastry both equally delicious. The coffee was average, no 1/2 & 1/2, and the pump on the carafe didnt work well. Had to pump it 20-30 times to get a cup of coffee. Still very tasty, they have breakfast and lunch items. The kolaches are smaller, so if you have a big appetite you will need 2, but priced lower than the croissant. Must try if you havent already.

Overpriced and really slow, but kind of addicting. Just imagine little pockets of sweet dough filled with salty or sweet things. This was the staple lunch spot for me when I was in high school. The location is great and convenient for the high schoolers at LHS. The food itself is usually good although there are occasionally batches of certain flavors that fall short of the usual quality. The prices are high but then again you can order 2 or 3 and be set for breakfast, or order a whole box and be set for the entire day even. I would definitely recommend Kolache House Bakery to other people, at the very least just to try out and see how they like it.

5 stars due to their customer service and great attitudes. As a first time customer, I had a large order and I think I confused them as when I got home, I was missing a few. Called them up, confirmed I was missing 3 kolaches, and they offered to refund or just have me come grab the missing ones. The staff and manager (I think Robin?) made it right and even added a few extra for the trouble, and Im not so petty (as some of the other reviewers for this place) as to make a huge deal out of some meaty dough balls. The kolaches are priced fairly, make great little morning treats, and like I said, their staff just does what they are supposed to do when something goes wrong. Mistakes happen, but it is nice when they are addressed appropriately. Thank you Kolache House Bakery!

I ordered about a dozen kolaches delivered to my son in Glendale. They arrived on time, and my son said they are delicious. They ran out of the apple so subbed in cinnamon rolls, which is fine with me. Good service, good kolaches. A little pricey, as some have said, but kolaches are in a totally different class from other baked goods, IMO, so you cant expect them to be as cheap as donuts. Its more like getting Cinnabons, a special treat that you expect to pay more for.

This is good easy food and I really love coming here. However, I usually have to ask the staff to heat up my order twice, which is rather annoying. I would recommend putting a microwave or two out by the coffee station so folks can hear them to their preference. Today I had to interrupt two other orders, once to get these heated up a second time and another time because she apparently forgot that I was waiting for my food, which had cooled again. So let me heat it myself because it is starting to get old quick.

Who doesnt love dumplings, no matter which culture theyre from? If you havent had these, theyre reminiscent of Chinese sticky buns / steamed buns. They fill them with all manner of goodness! From savory items like beef or ham and cheese or pizza fillings, to sweet items like fruit or chocolates. Theyre also very well priced ... somewhere between $2 and $3 per bun usually and you could make a good meal from two to four of them. The only down-sides are that the parking lot is a little difficult to navigate as its both tight and packed with Starbucks customers, and they also seem to be always out of a few of their items, so you either have to wait a while or choose items theyve got ready.
