I always love shopping here for my alternative needs. From hair dye to all of my jewelry wants this store has it. And the clothes are so cool. And I love the mystery bags too. Staff is always ready and willing to help.

People there nice. They have a nice selection of nerdy and alternative clothing here. What I mean by that is if you like anime, MCR, Harry Potter, Rick and Morty, and thing like that youll likely find items here related to it.

I walked in there and I was looking at the beetleguise stuff and this old lady n her husband came it and just immediately asked if I knew about all these things n I had to hold back laughing as I said I didnt work there. She said I looked very knowledgeable about things. But truthfully its probably because I looked like a Halloween decorations..But they had great things n the employees were helpful so that was nice.

This review is for Hot Topic, the company and its policies, NOT this specific store. Recently I ordered things online, like I do OFTEN, and somehow my account got switched over to an old address. Immediately after I made the order I tried to change the address. YOU CANT!!! Then they refuse to fix it for you, claiming policy. I can understand that IF I hadnt tried to IMMEDIATELY change it. Now I have $100 worth of stuff they say the only way to fix the issue is to charge me AGAIN!!! and then ship stuff they dont even know if they have left..? My order is coming in 2 or 3 separate shipments. They still wont do ANYTHING for the stuff that hasnt shipped. I even got ahold of USPS and the place the stuff is getting shipped to and they say they cannot do anything. Hot Topic.... failure to their customers. And yes, Ill keep posting this on all the stores reviews until something is done.

Hot Topic will let scalpers buy limited edition collectibles (Funko Pops) in bulk. Waited in line for A half an hour to get an awesome Nightcrawler Funko POP I was super excited to have (as a fan, not a collector). They announced 11 left after opening and 5 minutes later that there was one left.I used to shop at Hot Topic a lot but I can’t support a business that allows bullies to extort their customers. Hot Topic lost a good customer today.

LOVE HT. Always have. I went to this one and am having a great time with my friends. I go to check out how expensive a tank top on the wall is and use one of those long pole things to pull it down, it was out already. This kid that works there literally bulldozes down my friend to get to me and snatches it out of my hands and says “YOU CANT TOUCH THESE WE GET IN TROUBLE” totally ruined the vibe. Sad. I’ve never had this happen before, but it was embarrassing and stupid dramatic. Otherwise have always loved hot topic.

Customer service was amazing, just need to make sure they check more carefully if the security sensors are still on or not, but even when that happened they gave me an extra $15 cash thing. So they were nice and respectful after that whole situation! No other hot topic would ever do that!! Thanks guys keep up the hard work!!

I shouldnt. But I love Hot Topic. They always have a friendly staff, current pop culture merchandise, and their sales are awesome.

Raunchy stuff for parties like bachelorette parties or vice versa. Tees caps. Nose rings. And a ton of other stuff, you could spend an hour in the store and just scratch the surface of all to see. LoL. Overpriced though for the most part. Its usually a place I go to buy something specific. 3 stars because they have so much to purchase. Edible panties, and costumes for year round fun. Hahaha.

Loved this store back in middle school, now I go in and have the same exciting feeling to buy something new, cool, and shows mu personality.

Over the years Hot Topic has lost its edge and mostly caters to teeny bopper anime kids now, but occasionally you still find some random cool stuff.

The staff was HORRIBLE. I love the store itself, but this was THE WORST. The woman who was the cashier, she was very rude. Some other lady had said she was being mean, but she just said whatever and kept on being like that.

If you love 80s rock and other fun merchandise this place is it.

Theres a girl with dyed red hair and 50s look. Shes so beautiful and kind. Went there for 50s dresses for my daughter and she helped us so much. If they had a tip jar.... Was too chicken to ask her name but she rocks. Luckily she didnt take advantage cuz she coulda sold me anything and Id have bought it.I think, good customer service is hard to find. So when someone goes above and beyond. It means a lot. Makes me want to come back, just for the experience.

Hard to find any thing rainbow themed without referencing your preferences in the bedroom. Extremely overpriced however enjoyed the employees knew the business

This place almost ruined my entire birthday day. It makes sense and I 100% should have known better since torrid also treats their customers like trash and its the same company. First the 12yo kid that works there named Kameron I believe, asked me if I was finding everything alright. I told him no and he said ok, well let me know if you need anything in his monotone I dont care voice. So then, we buy these garbage pens that are wayyyyy overpriced just like torrid has everything over priced. Regular ball point pens with cats on them, $9 each! Please!. So I tell the kid, nvm I only want one. He takes the one I specifically set aside from the other two and gives me one of the other two. So I say actually, I wanted this one and take it. He says, clearly annoyed, oh ok 😒 you wanted THAT one? So we take it and leave. Then I think like hey, I was there only to use my free $5, I dont want to also spend $5 on this trash. Im disabled and my legs couldnt stand any longer, so my husband takes it back and exchanges it for a $3.00 reusable bag. Well guess what, the free $5 disappeared and he still charged us for the bag. So finally I go back and talk to this poor girl who clearly doesnt understand numbers and argue with her for about 10 minutes trying to explain very simplistically what happened and why I need $3.00 back. Shes too confused even though she was there for the whole thing and probably should not be working a register dealing with money. So after she told me that she was the manager, she goes and gets the real manager Jonna who was the only good person, nice, and got us taken care of right away. The $5 birthday reward just went into Oblivion, I left with nothing, and will never be going back to any hot topic or torrid. Thanks for wasting my time and trying to ruin my birthday! You guys are the worst. Maybe hire some competent people.

They didnt remove an ink placer on a t-shirt, and then my wife and I moved to Japan. They sent my mother a gift card to make up for it. Honestly though the only reason they get a 4 and not a 1 is because of that, the store has gone down hill over the years pretty badly.
