And Jorge made the paperwork portion of the visit super quick and even took the time to explain everything fully. I have been a long term customer with Toyota World of lakewood. My lease is up on my Tacoma and I wished to pay it off in cash but the phone number the dealer gave me and the number on the Toyota website did not give me an option to do this. I had called the dealer numerous times without getting any help. This last time the operator kept insisting that is what I had to do without giving me any help based on he instructions not working. He got rude with me, would not connect me with the manager and hung up on me. I called back again and finally was able to talk to a manager. But due to this poor service from them I will never buy a vehicle from them again. They got their lease but when it came time to purchase they did not want to help. Shame on this dealership. Hopefully I will not have to buy another vehicle, and if I do it will be from another dealership.

Watch out, they are scammers, they sold me a vehicle with an option i specifically asked for, then found out the vehicle didnt have it. When I confronted them about it,, they basically told me oh well

Poor customer service. I Had an 8am appointment for routine service. Arrived on time. Called at noon and the car hadnt been started yet. When I asked for an ETA the service desk said when they get to it! Had to ask 3Xs before they would tell me it would be an hour before they would put it in the queue! Way over priced to be treated so poorly!.The work performed was satisfactory but I will not return even though we purchased 2 vehicles from this dealership.

Had an appointment for a wheel alignment on my Tacoma only to be told they can’t do it because they don’t have the specs for the 2021 trucks. I was then referred to a 3rd party location that could take care of it for me.How is it that a 3rd party location has the specs but an OE Toyota Dealership not have the specs?The truck has been in production since 2016. Why couldn’t a 2020 spec be used for the alignment? It’s practically the same vehicle since production for this model began.With that said, I should’ve been called to reschedule instead of driving 20 miles to be turned around.

This is my 2nd time leasing a RAV4 through Toyota World of Lakewood. I cant say enough nice things about salesman Bob Elwell. Never any pressure or gimmicks. Always makes you feel welcome, very friendly and helpful. The service department is great as well, always very professional.

I had a great experience here at Toyota world in Lakewood. First I am 7 months pregnant and when I was younger I didnt care about my credit these guys here went above and beyond to make sure I left with a great reliable safe car for me and my son. They made sure I had payments in my price range and really did everything to help me leave with a beautiful safe car. I am so happy and pleased with the service I received. Salesperson was a nice guy, showed me around and different options. But when talking about pricing on a certain truck there was a 10k mark up is what they told me. I just kind of laughed on the inside. No wiggle room wouldn’t even come back with better offer. Searched around for another Tacoma Pro found one and bought at dealer up north over the weekend an hour away I drove for the truck I wanted. I paid sticker price at 50k. Disappointed that dealers would do this.

Greg took care of us when we got to the dealership. It was a great experience and the best part was that it didnt take long at all. We left with our Tacoma off the showroom floor. Spoke with a Salesman, James Jerome, at Toyota World of Lakewood today. We drove out two hours from the Northern part of New Jersey to see a 2016 Toyota RAV4. I called Customer Service twice to make sure that this car would be on the lot and would be seen today. We hopefully were going to purchase a 2016 Toyota RAV4 today! We were quite excited to make this deal. James, the salesperson, had the keys and jacket on to go see the car, and told us it would only take a few minutes to go see the car. It began to rain, so he made up a lie then and there. He told us that the car was in the shop and being serviced. However, the car was not in the shop because we drove right past it. He told us that the car was not able to be seen today that we would have to come back tomorrow. Sales department here needs better communication with the customer service department. Your sales department should be more ethical and don’t lie to your customers that the car was available to be looked at. Also make sure that your sales team has more respect for their customers. I’m sorry Toyota world of Lakewood, but you just lost yourself a customer.

I wished someone told me that the all the numbers you agree with your salesman about would NOT be honored once you get into the finance office.An additional $2,000 was added to the price of the vehicle plus instead of $2,000 down the finance manager said I had to put $2600 for new tags and additional fees. I told him I wanted to keep my old tags and he said Its not possible. Only to tell me later no changes can be made until next Monday andthat he will try and I will recieve a check of max $40 in the mail.I left unhappy and feeling tricked. Ladies please dont go to this dealership by yourself. You will be blindsided once you step into the finance office.

Inflated, skyrocketing prices doesnt even begin to describe this place. They are currently marking up a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck, again a run-of-the-mill Tacoma, an extra $15,000 OVER MSRP. Thats right!! Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price 43k. Toyota World of Lakewood price? $57k!!!!! You be the judge. Photo proof. The Rip off Sticker is to the right of the manufacturer sticker. By the way, these cars are simply driven off the car carrier and parked. Any extras are complete nonsense.

Advice, Not Sales > 2 Car Upgrade Saturday!The ease and no pressure of sales process. I was originally set on getting a pick up and wanted to hear Toyota pitch to compare from GM models I was highly considering. My job requires daily visits to several dealerships in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and more. I know everybody and do plenty of research. After a few minutes, Carter offered me the best advice and solutions to meet my everyday needs and I now drive a RAV4 Hybrid, going to look for a cheap used pickup elsewhere. My wifes desire to liberate herself from the 10 years of minivan driving and have a cool SUV, but loaded (orig. wanted a luxury brand) and fun, she now drives a 4Runner. Great Saturday! This is my second Tacoma purchased from Lakewood Toyota. I have been very happy with the overall experience and particularly their service dept. My sales person Bob Elwell was great. I feel he gave me a fair deal and was very efficient and knew and explained the features of the truck very thoroughly. I would highly recommend him. The whole process from the buy to the finance person was smooth and efficient without the hard sell.

Just bought a new vehicle from Toyota World of Lakewood. The whole process went smoothly without incident. Our sales representative Brad did a great job and took very good care of us. Vehicle was prepped really well and looked especially sharp when we picked it up. All of the dealership representatives were attentive to our needs, including ordering and installation of the options we wanted. The only negative was the dealership had installed a $2K add-on option to the vehicle that was not reflected in the price or description on the vehicle as advertised on the website. This only became apparent after we drove to the dealership. The price reflected on the website should reflect all options that are packaged / installed on the vehicle.

The vehicle I wanted was located at another Toyota dealer, but since I use their service department for my Tundra, I wanted to purchase through them. The new vehicle I wanted was not showing up as available in Toyotas database despite showing the salesman it was on another dealers website and I physically saw it in person.I had no choice but to drive to Freehold and buy the vehicle. At least the salesman was honest and suggested to do so. I will continue to use their service department which is fantastic.

Completely speechless... Took a client to this dealer a few weeks ago., called and vehicle was available for sale. Stated theyd hold it until we got there (until lunch). Drove 1.5 hours down and when I arrived vehicle was being sold by another salesman. Fast forward...Took client to dealer this week, called first and both vehicles were on lot ready for sale. Drove 1.5 hours again to get there and after doing paperwork, GSM stated vehicle was sold (why state it was ready for sale 2 hours earlier) and second vehicle offered for sale had visible paint/body repair. Offered us a third vehicle to look at but couldnt find that one either. FrustratedToyota is a great company and product but when some of these franchise dealers hire kids as managers, Im thinking the apps on their phones become more important than the consumer...

I drove an hour and a half out to this dealership JUST to buy a specific vehicle they had in stock!Before I even went out to the dealership I worked with Alexis Buono! She was amazing! We did all the back and forth talk over email, and we were able to agree on a price! She literally couldn’t of made it any easier for me. The only annoying thing was not enough inventory for the camry. I did end up buying the camry and its great. As for the salesperson he was nice but after purchase, the motto must be a no rtn call policy. I left 2 personal items in old car but only 1 item was rtnd. Also tried to contact the financial person b/c I found error on sheet. Voicemail is full, ru kidding. Also being new to sirius no real explanation on setup.

The worst dealer experience I’ve ever encountered. Played around with price, was not transparent until they were called on it. Did not honor TrueCar pricing either. Was prepared to give them a certified check on agreed TrueCar price. They don’t deserve your business go somewhere else. I’ve filed formal complaint with Toyota hotline.

Count on them to not care as soon as you walk out the door. Bought a truck (used) and 5 MONTHS later hit with a $5000 bill after several hundred dollars in repairs already done. Service told me they can’t help and sales won’t call back and now won’t answer the phone. I never gave an attitude and have been nothing but nice, very disappointed where I spent my money

I have used the Buyers Edge program in the past, which is supposed to give upfront pricing. However, after adding appropriate taxes and fees, Toyota of Lakewood would not honor the deal and claimed that True Car/Buyers Edge was mistaken and the price is actually higher. I would steer clear of this dishonest dealership.

Well started off good dealing with this dealership. They ended up putting me into a car that literally can’t get out of it. I am suffering from a horrendous back injury and I need to get into a car with lumbar support. I would highly recommend Galaxy Toyota in Eatontown.

Terrible experience at Toyota World of Lakewood in July 2020. Before getting into the negatives, I will say that my experience with Dyllon Ramos was pleasant - he was friendly, helpful, and genuinely trying to help. Dyllon was not responsible for my negative experience.After arriving on time to my appointment and promptly test driving the vehicle in which I was interested, I sat down to discuss numbers. Dyllon went and spoke with his superior and came back with a base number that was quite high and began discussing monthly payments. Before going any further, I mentioned I was not concerned with monthly payments, more concerned with an out-the-door price, and I re-requested this price. Dyllon went to speak with his superior again and quickly returned WITHOUT the information for which I asked and continuing to focus on the monthly payment amount. While Dyllon was away from his desk, a sales manager on the floor told me how the high price was a good deal (despite the fact that the dealership had, and still has, a significant inventory of the vehicle I was interested in and next years model will be released soon). There was no logic behind anything the sales manager was saying. Dyllon returned, with his superior (I believe it was the GM) and another sales manager in the background. At this point, I had four individuals (GM, two sales managers, and Dyllon) telling me why I should purchase the vehicle without providing one shred of evidence as to why it was a fair deal.The implicit assumption in all of this was that (i) I had not done any research, (ii) I make my decisions solely on emotion, and (iii) I am not aware of the psychological tricks employed by car dealerships. I proceeded to calmly explain in great detail (i) how I spent hours scouring the internet for information, (ii) why nothing they were saying made sense quantitatively, (ii) how they were trying to manipulate my emotions, and (iv) how I understand negotiation tactics and the tricks that car dealerships are particularly fond of. I was pleasant and calm the entire time but I cannot say that these courtesies were reciprocated. There was no time taken by the salesmen here to understand the customer and the customers needs.I walked out after 30 minutes of having my time wasted, went to another dealership, and ended up purchasing an even better vehicle for a lower price from a team that is interested in volume and making deals. I did not hear from this dealership again, which was a tell-tale sign that my intuition was spot-on. I will NEVER recommend this dealership to anybody in my network and I encourage others to stay away if at all possible.

My husband and I are loyal Lakewood Toyota customers, and the lease on our third vehicle was expiring in 2 months. We communicated via text and email with Bryan, and we were able to make an appointment on December 31st. Bryan was still with another customer, so he politely handed us off to Jessica to get the process started. She worked with us, aided by Brandon Torres, to assure that we left with a vehicle that we loved. We left with an amazing 2019 4Runner, and we couldn’t be happier. Everyone in that dealership is professional, courteous, and they make the whole process relatively easy. We will be back for more vehicles, for sure.

Salesman Tyler worked with Me over the phone after an internet offer I made. Deal was confirmed by both sides, he held the car for me over the weekend, and I picked it up on Monday. Business manager Jorge was a gentleman, offering all the upgrades that he has to offer but no pressure about taking or not taking it. If I could buy another car from these guys I would do it in a second!

I been going here for about two months. I never had a problem and my car always come out looking clean.

This dealership charges horrendously high labor prices. I brought in my 4Runner because my maintenance light came on and one of my headlights went out. They tried telling me I needed all new brake pads and rotors when I literally had them all replaced at this location probably a year ago. They tried charging me 120 dollars for two filters. I denied all the work besides the headlight replacement and them turning my maintenance light off. I got charged 91 dollars between the bulb and the labor. Once I left I realized they hadn’t even turned my maintenance light off. This dealership is a bunch of thieves trying to take your money. Never go here. Ever.

Service writer was very polite and professional. He made sure that the part/parts needed to complete the repairs related to the recall were actually ordered. He could not explain why four separate calls to Toyota of Lakewood were not returned with an explanation or a date to have it repaired. In

Just bought a new 2020 4Runner from Alex Luzio. She could not have made the process any more seamless from start to finish. I traded in a car to get in a new Tacoma lease. I love the vehicle. Only one problem, they never paid off the car i traded in which i was told would be taken care of. Which left me with an outstanding balance that was sent to the wrong address. Wound up affecting my credit score and cost me $650. Ive reached out numerous times and got one call back stating someone would get in touch with me. Two months later and nothing. I NEVER write bad reviews, EVER. To me, this is bad business.

It was my very first time to go toLakewood Toyota last thursday Oct 25th to have my Rav 4 2014 serviced I didn’t imagine that l’ll be driving home a new car. Carter Niles was my sales associate. He was very accomodating and honest. I had a very pleasurable buying experience with him. Jason was the one who did my paperworks. He was a little slow but its very understandable as he is fairly new in this Toyota Branch. Keep up the good work guys!

Customer service staff is very rude & always intentionally answers any questions customers have in a very rude & fast way so it turn customers down - not to ask further questions . In a way that’s their way of getting ride of customers who still have warranties or free services within certain time period in their cars . Once warranty is over, then they start speaking to a lower tone of voice until you sign & pay, for any service then got forbid you have another question, there they are again with being rude, because you paid already.I think customer service should be all about being nice / patient/ taking time with each customers / explaining everything calmly even if they have warranty, that would show for customers to come back in future to buy more car . I will NEVER Recommend World of Toyota in Lakewood NJ to anyone or I will go again my self . Very poor customer service 👎

She helped me out with pricing and got me a great deal on the car. She respected my only email request and took the time to thoroughly answer all of my questions. We went to this dealer to purchase a vehicle that was listed as Pre-owned Toyota Certified. The listing listed all the warranties and benefits associated with the certification. When it came time to discuss price, the salesperson added an additional $1,400+ for the certification plus $875 used car preparation fee. This is not the first time we purchased a vehicle from a Toyota dealer. The final cost is usually the listing price plus taxes and tag fees. This dealer has HIDDEN FEES. I would not recommend them.

My Husband and I went in to Toyota World of Lakewood. As soon as we walked in we were greated by Karly Fisher. She was so professional, and immediately assisted us. Karly gave us all the immediate information that we needed to know, to purchasing our brand new vehicle. Karly immediately went and picked a similar car that we wanted, however she explained to us it was not the one I wanted, but we were going to go near the blue claw stadium to pick up the one we wanted. I can not express how happy I am with my new vehicle. She explained everything I needed to know about my new car. I am so happy she was the first one that greeted us when we walked in. After weeks researching and looking in other dealers for a truck or SUV with 5.7 engine that I was looking, I found it here!
