If you are in the area or even a little out the area...make this spot a must stop on your list. This has to be the best selection of meat in the Denver area not even Whole Foods or King Soopers could come close to the selection these guys have. Everything I looked at was so fresh! Seriously happy I stopped by this place.

Quality meats and good selection but twice I purchased two New York strips which were clearly marked $19.95 per pound only to discover when I got home that I had been charged $2 and $3 per pound more. 😬 If the price displayed was wrong or it was a different quality then tell me! Dont try to slip something by me without telling me! Thats clearly dishonest!👎 You lost my business!!

Have lived in this neighborhood for 3 years and just started going to this shop. Disappointed I didn’t start sooner! Meat selection, service, and quality are all excellent. You can really tell a difference...even little things like the ground beef make spectacular burgers. Also, their prices are amazing...was expecting a bit more than a grocery store, but their prices are exactly the same and when they have specials they’re insanely good.

I have visited butcher shops that make their own sausage all over the country, mostly in Milwaukee, Chicago, DC and Denver. This place is fabulous. Ill be back.

After living in the area for a few years, I am embarrassed to say we only recently discovered this amazing place. In the past month, we have been back at least four times. Its great! Weve found lamb, game meat, ribs, and village pie maker pies :) If there is something special you need, just ask and theyll let you know when its coming in. I am pained to think of how much time I spent driving to Whole Foods when this spot was just down the street. Better prices too!

We absolutely love this place! Brian helps us every week when we come in and is a delight. We look forward to seeing him and everyone here. The meat selection is incredible, along with other gourmet snacks, it’s a hard decision every week. Brian is always willing to let us know insights in to cooking the meats the best way possible and new things to try. We are in love with everything we buy and try, our favorite is the prime t-bone right now. There’s no comparison to any other meat we’ve tried from other places (and especially the grocery store). This is my go to meat store. We buy all out meat from this store. The meat quality and selection is great and the staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Weve shopped here for years and have always been pleased with the quality. In addition to the typical beef, pork, bacon and chicken, there are many products here you wont find at a supermarket such as: bacon burgers, several varieties of brats, bison, elk, goose, duck, and even yak.

They took my order and had it individually packaged and ready for me in a hour which is absolutely amazing during snow storm conditions. 💯

Came across this shop on the search for pork belly a while back and they were the only butcher with it in stock. Next time we are in the mood for pork belly we knew exactly where to go. After two great experiences, Ive now solidified it as my go-to butcher. Great meat, sausage, and staff.

Id known about this place for a while, but only recently started regularly shopping here recently. I regret not going sooner! Their sausages are superb. I usually get brats, chorizo, andouille, and smoked kielbasa. Of course they have a regular butcher section with an awesome selection. I usually go for the flank steaks, and their ribeyes are always so tempting. Maybe theyre a bit on the pricey side, but you just cant compare them to the big box grocery stores. The people are way friendly too and super helpful. So if you can, I absolutely recommend that you get your meats here. You wont regret it!

If you like unique flavors of sausages this is the place!! As far as steak you cant go wrong with the USDA prime selection they carry.

Love this place. They always have really nicely aged choice, and their Prime steaks are insanely delicious. Stuff at grocery stores is little more than utility meat in comparison.

Excellent food at reasonable prices. They support contactless payment methods and currently have you stay outside to order. I purchased some amazing filets my first time here and will certainly be stopping back in for more delicious meats. Really glad someone pointed me to this shop as they arent easy to see from the street. Very much worth a visit.

This was my first experience with Gourmet Meats and they have earned my business for life. We showed up just before close and needed a 3lb beef tenderloin and the cutter had already left for the day. The owner went to the back and cut it for us and the piece turned out slightly asymmetrical. We had told him upon arriving we needed a nice looking piece for an important dinner. The next morning we received a call from him telling us he wasn’t happy with the cut and he asked us to stop by and pick up a better cut a no charge. Top notch customer service. Absolute pride in what they do. I’ll be spreading the word!

Its grilling season and Im so glad my neighbor reminded me about this place. I used to shop here all the time. It looks just as good as it did back then. The cases are loaded and looking delicious. Im leaving with bacon burger and a fat chicken for beer butt chicken.
