My wife dropped a bag underneath our new night stand and it turns out on the right side the sliding mechanism is defective. When we try to slide it back in it wouldn’t go inside so we check to see if there’s something wrong and sure enough this is what we found. We looked at their website and they only have a 5 day return policy along if we were to get it checked and they deem it our fault. We’ll get charged doesn’t seem fair especially faulty equipment we’re hoping the two dressers we bought as a set doesn’t the it out this way. We only had this set for 19 days and are ever home. We have only actually used it three times!! Very disappointed!!!

She helped us with measurements, had patience with us as we discussed our options, answered all our questions enthusiastically, welcomed us to the great city of Denver with some good recommendations, and made us feel like we were important. Staff is friendly, the couch I ordered is very comfy, but the reason for 3 stars is because of communication. I was told when I purchased the couch thatd itd be ready for pick up about a month later. Over the next three months I called almost every two weeks asking for the status and each time they said itll be here in two weeks. Eventually I stopped then a few weeks later stopped by the store to find out it would be there the next day. It did arrive but there was no communication that it had.
Couldnt find what I wanted for the price I was willing to pay.
Dont waste money on the old furniture removal fee. Our shopping experience was good buy their policy regarding picking up old mattresses is HORRIBLE. I have a 15 year old mattress/ box spring that they refused to pick up because 3 small spots on the box spring MUST mean we have bed bugs. There is, zero, ZERO evidence of bed bugs but they wont budge. So dont waste your money on their removal fee because it will be denied if its dirty.

I am generally a HUGE fan of AFW. Almost everything in my house is from there. I have made two purchases recently and not good. One a tamarind king bed and foam mattress. Just a few weeks ago a grey couch with recliners on each end. The bed has legs underneath. I only sleep in this bed myself in 2-3 months with only me sleeping there the legs have snapped off. A few of them. To be fair I have not called them about thisThe couch I have only sat on a few times. I kept coming away seriously itchy. Like wanna claw your skin off. Tonight at the time of this writing I rubbed my hand against the nap of the couch and kinda yelped in pain. I am a medical person. Went to bathroom and was picking Like what felt like small shards of glass out of my fingers. I believe fiberglass. I am tough. But this is seriously painful. I cannot believe this. Awaiting a fellow medical friend to get off work to pick this stuff out if my back. Will call tomorrow but so upset. Guy from delivery was rude which I have never experienced with AFW. What a terrible experience. To start I was told my couch was available for pick up and it was at another location so I had to get it delivered. When couch was delivered they gave me the wrong color. I called the store they said they would bring me the correct color. After 15 min I received a phone call from the store manager he told me that they looked at delivery photos and I can’t tell the difference between gray and brown. Now I have to go back in with a piece of the couch which I plan on doing or just deal with what I received. I wouldn’t recommend this place and would recommend upper management to re established what customer service looks like. You may save money here but you won’t save time or piece of mind.
I have to call out Ginger for OUTSTANDING assistance at the South Wadsworth store. I am very indecisive but she helped me make multiple decisions with her honest, sincere feedback to my questions and conflicts. She is amazing to work with! I didnt have any second thoughts or uneasiness about any of my decisions after working with her. Will definitely be back and will definitely ask for her!
Unfortunately, we were lied to (twice) by the salesman John Ambrose on 5/23/2020 around 2pm. My husband and I purchased an end table and coffee table and we purchased the delivery since John said it was only $20. Let me go back and say that John made us feel rushed and that we were bothering his day by throwing $450 at him in sales. Anyway- John was in such a rush that he corrected himself in saying delivery was $25, then it changed to $29. We live in a 3rd floor condo and John assured us, twice, that our product would be dropped off AT OUR FRONT DOOR. Notice the picture? On the first floor, halfway in the rocks. The delivery window given was 7:45-10:15 and they were here at 7am! Not even in the window provided either!When I called the store to complain, customer service issued the $29 delivery fee refund and told us theres nothing else they can do. My husband is gone 14 hours a day and now our brand new coffee table is sitting 3 floors down, outside, unattended because I cant carry it myself. Thats why I paid delivery and had $40 in tips for the drivers in my pocket- to avoid this entire debacle! Customer service was less than empathetic when I kindly expressed my grief with our poor experience. It feels like AFW is telling me, thanks for your hard earned dollars, now go f yourself.
After being promised my nightstand would be in stock on two separate occasions, finally by the third promised date it showed up. I picked it up and brought it home only to find it had been placed in my car with a giant hole in the box nearly the size of my shoe. Sure enough, the nightstand was heavily damaged in the front. They refused to pick it up without a fee, and I was forced to carry a 65 pound nightstand back to my car and haul it back to the store. They certainly acknowledged it shouldnt have happened but thought making it right would be delivering me a new one without reimbursing me for the time and gas money I wasted during this whole ordeal. After all the delays and headaches I had been through, I told them I would go elsewhere.I had purchased a loveseat from them a couple of months prior, I was going to buy more from them in the future. All it would have taken was some tiny gesture to acknowledge that I had been wronged, and I would have purchased from them again. Literally a 10% discount (15 dollars) and I would have finished furnishing my apartment with them, as I understand mistakes happen. Overall, what a horrible business, avoid at all costs.
We were fortunate to have Ginger help us sort through the manyoptions and features of trying to decide which mattress we shouldbuy. She was exceedingly patient and helpful to us. She knew productsand was very helpful. We were going to go to a second mattress storebut decided not to sincd we received such good advice from Ginger.A good experience all around.
I have used American Furniture before and haven’t had an issue. I ordered a couch a couple months ago and it has been a NIGHTMARE. I originally was told that my couch would be here in a couple weeks back in June. I called a couple weeks later and they changed the date, I have called every week since then and get a different estimate every time. It has now been almost 3 months and I finally got a delivery for one part of my Couch (there’s 3 parts to it) and a day before the delivery they call and say it’s broken and it will be another month. I haven’t been compensated for this at all and it has become very frustrating.
Zach was awesome! He helped us a few days in a week spam. We didnt know what we wanted or what we wanted to do. Zach was super patient.
At first our experience was great. The salesperson who helped us was so kind and helpful. However, we needed to change our delivery date due to us moving into our new place sooner than we thought. The woman we spoke to on the phone seemed annoyed and put out to help us. Really set us off going back to afw for the rest of our house. Strange to see such a contrast in service in the same building.
We were helped by Zach. Outstanding. We needed a lot of items to furnish a new home and he did an amazing job helping us. We left with all we wanted and more. He was so kind and helpful. We spent hours browsing and choosing the right furniture for us and Zach was there every step of the way to look up inventory and give advice. We left the store with a huge purchase order which will be delivered in about a month of time. Amazing. Their prices are unbeatable. Noone and noone can beat their prices. We are beyond happy.
This place is absolutely amazing! I shopped at the Compark location and was treated terrible! The first day my family shopped there the store was busy and it took some time to find someone to help us.I spotted a lady with a red shirt sitting and asked for her help! She was irritated and asked if I took pictures of what like I said no. I said I didn’t know that I needed to. She said well yea!She walked over with us to where the table that I loved was at and looked on her device and told me it was available. I asked if she would help me find a sectional she says well you need to go upstairs for thoseI got on escalator and thought she was behind me and she had walked away. I did find help and I put 2,500 down. The sales person told me my balance was $1053. I didn’t look at the receipt until I made it home. And the balance was different then what she quoted! I literally called for a week to try and verify balance and you can never get anyone on the phone and when you do you get transferred at least 5 times!To a line that just rings and cut you off! I went in person and couldn’t get help! I asked for a manager and was told that one wasn’t available! I waited for an hour and still no manager! The guy told me I should’ve come before 4pm when everyone is there. That they have only 2 managers and it’s so many problems in the store that there always busy.I went home and called the Lakewood location and told the operator what I was Experiencing, She transferred me to Travis who is the managerHe apologized and him and his staff went over and beyond to help me pay my balance and schedule it for delivery!This is what real customer service is! I’m so grateful for their help! Jerry she is amazing I will travel the distance to buy more furniture and if You are looking for amazing customer service and furniture you won’t be disappointedThank you guys again
Bought Furniture in March. Haven’t received are furniture and it’s already the middle of august.. went from we will have it in may then in may they said July. Now in august they are hoping for the end of September..
At this point, if I could give 0 or negative stars, I would. My husband and I shopped for a new couch back in February 2021. We understood there would be covid delays, and, since we have a couch we could use, we didnt worry about it. Our estimate was mid-May to receive the couch. At some point in March/April we received word from the salesman that Europe was closing down again due to Covid, and our new estimated arrival was early July. Around mid-June we received another call that it appeared our couch was still on schedule for an early-mid July delivery. We then heard nothing from the store. I called at the end of July to inquire and was told that their new ETA was August 10. Hearing nothing by mid-August, I called again. They gave us another ETA letting us know that it was in port in Houston but, depending on Covid breakouts on the ship, they could not tell us when it would leave Houston. We then receive a call a week or so later that our couch is in and will be delivered with our rug the follow week. The day before delivery, they call back stating that our couch is not actually in, so it will just be the rug delivery. We get a call again about a week and a half later stating that the couch has arrived and they can deliver it on September 15th. We await the call on the 14th so we have an arrival time...no one calls. I call them to inquire about our delivery window, and they tell me it is still in Arizona (which is where it was when they called us for delivery last time). So, we are stil without a couch! Today, September 15th we have yet another employee call us to tell us our couch is in and will be delivered on September 21st. My husband inquires as to whether they are certain this time! She assures us it is in and will be delivered next week. She then calls back 5 minutes later to tell us it is not actually in. It is still in the Arizona store. There is a serious lack of communication issue with this store at least. No one has been helpful and they continue to give us the runaround while they have both our money and our couch! They will not be receiving our business any longer at this point!
Bought a new sofa last Saturday and got it delivered to my third floor apartment today. Couldnt have been easier! I was worried about buying a sofa because I had no way of transporting it myself, and AFW makes it super affordable. The guys who delivered it were nice and got the couch in here in perfect shape (not an easy task given the layout and size of my entryway). Delivery was on time and I got updates via text. The store itself has an awesome selection of couches for good prices and the staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend!
We’ve had a horrible experience with this place. We ordered furniture back in March and were told that it would be delivered by mid-April. It is now mid-June and it has still has not arrived. Furthermore, every time we call for an update, we are told it will be here any day now, however, the “new” delivery date (we’ve had several now) is not scheduled until sometime in July. Furthermore, when we placed the order, we were told they would make as many deliveries as necessary when the furniture came in. This was also a lie as we’ve since been informed that they only allow a total of 2 deliveries even if you have furniture that’s been sitting in the store for months. Long story short, they will tell you what you want to hear to make a sale, but buyer be warned, you could be waiting for a very long time to get your furniture. I recommend looking elsewhere.Update: It’s now September and we are still waiting on two pieces of furniture. We’ve been waiting on this furniture for 6 MONTHS now and we’re still waiting. It’s honestly laughable at this point.
I was helped by Emilio in store to find a king sized mattress. He was extremely helpful and guided us through a smooth process. When the delivery came a few days later, the delivery men were early and set up the bed with the frame in 15 minutes. I would highly recommend this store for their great service and cheap furniture.
Going into the store was fine and I eventually was helped by someone. He helped me finalize my order and did a good job keeping me up to date on everything going on. My couch and coffee table were supposed to be delivered today between 12:15-2:45. I received a call from customer support saying the drivers were moving on and I would have to reschedule, when I called them back they told me no one answers. Which was untrue cause I was home, and then told me oh it’s a secured building so they couldn’t get in (which is also untrue). They did try to call me once but any unrecognized number doesn’t come through on my phone, so unless they leave a voicemail I don’t get notified. So now I won’t get anything for another week and customer service was unsympathetic. You pay all this money and you would think there would be a little more effort put into delivering it or at the very least leaving a voicemail saying your here. I work in customer service and I wouldn’t treat my clients like this.

Our sales guy was awesome I believe his name was Dale. Our delivery actually was scheduled earlier than expected, not everything but we got a huge bedroom set. My window is set from 7:45-10:15 am and I get a call at 7:15 saying they’re there. Now at this time I’m down the street at storage with all of our old stuff. I get back before 7:45 and they’re gone. They then call at 8:09 saying they missed me and my delivery’s been cancelled. They were not at my house. They did not knock. Their customer service team won’t let me speak to the delivery manager. I think it’s being delivered from Thornton but I ordered from wadworth. They now scheduled us for the 4th of august. You’re a Christian organization and this business acts anything but. That delivery manager that refused to speak with me and cancelled my delivery needs to be fired. You don’t come an hour early at 7am and cancel someone’s delivery. Shame on this business-in response to the owner, I emailed you guys with no response there. Yes after calling multiple times probably 15 total times we finally were able to get approved for tomorrow. Your driver did not knock on our door at 8:10 or anytime. Probably because we are in the 3rd story of the condo. Not a single person has been helpful except for Patrick, one of your 10 “customer service managers”. I will be happy to take this comment down if my furniture is delivered without any damages for being in a truck in 95 degree weather. To make this right it should’ve been delivered at the end of their shift today but instead we had to fight to get tomorrow morning with not a single person helpful other than Patrick.
Went in yesterday and walked the whole store, not a single sales associate asked if I needed help. They were either talking to each other or sitting on the furniture playing with their phones. I was in the market to purchase two dressers and a dinning set but I guess not from there. I’ll take my money elsewhere. This location had the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have seen in a long time.
American Furniture Warehouse… the place that lies to its customers about the time your furniture will arrive so that they can make a sale… also they lie about calling you to update on your order… then when you call to ask about your furniture a super rude receptionist will treat you terribly. I’ve given thousands of dollars to this company, but never again.
Emilio A. Was our sales consultant, he was friendly and super helpful. He was very knowledgeable. We showed him the couch we wanted and unfortunately it was out of stock. So he showed us three others couches that where very similar to the one we where looking at. But we did end up getting one he showed us. He was even great with our son.
The only reason that this review is not a one star is becuase my salesman at this location was incredibly helpful and I am fully aware that the situation is not his fault. But as of right now my experience has left me with a terrible taste in my mouth.I went to the store and placed an order for two chairs on a wednesday. The transaction was smooth and easy and I was told by my sales rep that I would be able to come and pick the chairs up on friday. So I go over on friday and I am told that they are still in transit and will probably not make it until monday. I am obviously annoyed by the situation so when I get home I call the customer service sales rep who assures me I will be able to pick up my order the next day on Saturday. Come saturday I dont want to wast my time or gas money again and I call the store once again to check and see if my order has arrived on location. ONCE AGAIN I am told the order will not arrive until Sunday at the earliest. I explain my frustration to the sales rep and I am told that although my order was placed on wednesday, the location did not bother to START the furniture transfer until FRIDAY. At the time of writing this review, I still have not gotten my chairs and my living room has nowhere to sit.So let this be a warning, DO NOT expect timley service on your orders because you will simply be left with dissapointment and an unfurnished apartment
Love this place. Got all our furniture for the house from here. In fact even my parents and my in laws got their furniture from here. We like the more classic look and they had so many different choices. They have modern too. Good prices. Majority of the furniture was fully assembled. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone.

I love AFW, been a customer for years, but this review is more leaning towards Andrea, who I believe is a manager, but I’m not sure. I have had so many issues with billing information and delivery, and she truly went above and beyond for me.. with EVERY SINGLE ISSUE. I don’t know her personally but I can also see the way she interacts with her team and she is absolutely the most helpful person in the entire place. THANK YOU ANDREA for being such a wonderful, helpful, pleasant employee! They are lucky to have you over there!
I like this AFW in Lakewood, close and convenient with more than I could ever need. The salesman and women are very nice and helpful with no stalking or forced help. Multiple financing options if thats needed too.

I was shown the costs along the way with taxes and delivery. Plus, he endured the financing process with me. I was able to come out with a complete front room and dining room set with decor.AFW provides high quality, reasonable prices and staff that make for an excellent experience.
Weve purchased from this location of American Furniture Warehouse twice now and both have been excellent experiences. In the story, its easy to get help, they have a great selection and the staff are all friendly. Once the order is placed, delivery was so smooth and seamless. their delivery staff was on time and did all of the setup of the furniture on site. The whole experience from in the store to having the furniture in our home was A+. highly recommended.

My daughter and I came in looking for a living room set and an adjustable bed and mattress. We got passed up by no less than 5 sales people as we walked through the store. Nobody greeted us and nobody asked if they could help us with anything. Maybe because I was wearing yoga pants and my daughter was wearing jeans. If you shop at American Furniture, you may want to put on your Sunday best if you want service. I will be taking my $10,000 to Furniture Row.
My girlfriend purchased desk from Nicholas B and was told that she could have me pick it up from the Thornton location where it was in stock. He supposedly added me has an authorized person with id and invoice number to pick it up for her. Telling her it would be no problem. Upon arriving, I was told by the parts pick up and manager on duty that I was unable to because I didnt have the purchasing credit card. Even showing the invoice with matching credit card number I was still unable to pick it up. This was very misleading by the sales person trying to just make a sale and big inconvenience. As so we will be having money returned and taking our business elsewhere that is straight forward and knowledgeable about policy and not just trying to make a sale.
Placed order 1/16/2021. Salesman MT said we would have all items of the couch besides the storage console by 2/5/2021. Multiple items on back order till end of the month. And now potentially we will not see the couch till 3/17. Never shopping here again!!!
3.5 months delay then had delivery issues plus EXTREMELY NOT DEAF-FRIENDLY. Forget it and not worth my time to buy and support their business anymore.

Yesterday my fiancé (age 25) and I (age 24) went to AFW very excited to purchase a new mattress. We have been sharing a full sized bed for 3 years and wanted to go up to a king. We came into the store and started looking around. Another couple a bit older than us walked in after us and we’re immediately greeted by a sales person. We proceeded to try out mattresses for the next 45 minutes while 4 sales people walked right past us and never asked if we need help finding anything. We ended up having to look at reviews online to help us make out ultimate decision on what mattress to purchase. We decided to buy it online because nobody bothered to help us in the store. I understand that sometimes when a sales person sees a young couple walk In they don’t want to waste their time because they assume we aren’t in the store to purchase anything. However, I was genuinely saddened that I didn’t get to leave smiling and excited about our new bed.
Quality at AFW always seems lower than I like. I bought a couch from another of their stores and it didnt last long even with minimal use before it started looking bad. Ive had lots of issues with their warranty and delivery process and even after calling and complaining directly after delivery they I basically got nowhere and gave up, having spent thousands on a new couch that had issues, then when they tried to make it right they brought me another couch that didnt have 100% functional lighting and wouldnt work with me to fix it. I came back in while shopping with some friends recently and you can see things are made as cheap as possible. They dont even carry the good brands of mattresses. There might be some quality items mixed in, but Id never trust buying a single thing from an AFW ever again. Between poor product quality, horrible delivery and warranty services being basically unavailable, Im not sure how they stay in business or why anyone would come back.

Whatever you do, do NOT but a mattress and box springs from this company. It’s a complete scam. The quality is terrible. We bought the nicest bed they sell, and the $2k bed didn’t even last a year and a half. We called AFW and had they an inspector come out and approved us for a refund. I did mention that we were not going to be buying another bed with them, simply because that was the best bed they had and it didn’t last. So, it’s no surprise that when the delivery guys came in to take it, they did everything they could to find ways to void my warranty. I find it perplexing that the inspector wastes our time to come out and approves it and the delivery guys can be the ones to judge whether we qualify or not on the spot? I keep my mattress and box springs in protectors from day one, our bed was in no way stained or in poor condition, minus the poor quality of the mattress itself not holding up. The delivery truck team treated us so poorly even as I was greeting them they seemed cold towards me, almost like they knew they were going to upset us. Must happen to them a lot. They told me that if they bring back a mattress with anything wrong then they are the ones that pay out of pocket. So on a snowy day like it was that day I could see why they would want me to take the fall and not them. The way we were treated was not only humiliating but it’s just morally wrong. I will never purchase another item from that company. And I will do everything I can to protect others from wasting their time and money on this horrible company. It’s a shame that companies have these kind of corrupt policies and shady warranties to screw families just so they can make an extra buck. Thanks AFW you screwed another family out of $2k during a pandemic.
This place is excellent! They have amazing customer service. Their prices are extremely Fair. They have some very unique and different furniture. I really like how the people here are honest and friendly. That really means a lot in my book!
Purchased couch, rug, end table, lamp and futon. All delivered on time and earlier, no damage or problems.Also communication was very good .
We went to AFW for an entrance table and found the perfect one! Was told it was out of stock, but would be available the 2nd week in March. Never heard from them. Today, 3/24, called and was told it would be another 2-3 weeks. What terrible customer service, not only the fact they had no idea when the item would be in stock, but no outreach to us for any type of update. This business isnt interested in customer service at all. If you can give you business to a different store, please consider doing so.
We recieved our new couch today. I have bought several other items from American furniture warehouse and have had wonderful experiences each time. Yes, the picture is also from AFW!We were not able to go to the store to look at couches because of the stay at home order. I looked online and found this couch. Each side reclines. Its just what we wanted!The whole experience was stress free and easy! When the delivery was made today the two employees who came to our house were respectful and very nice! They made sure the couch had the connectors it needed to be functional. They brought it into our home and they could not have done a better job!Thank you AFW for another wonderful experience!

The best to me was in the delivery, unfortunately I am on the third story with no elevator. They made the heavy delivery upstairs with no damage done and smiling faces! I also thought it was cool that they have a tracker, it tells You what number in line you are and gives an accurate time for your delivery. I would highly recommend to anyone if they want a painless delivery check them out!
Very disappointed with this store and company as a whole. We bought a couch and chair set at the beginning of March. The chair never came and no one contacted me about any delays. I called about the chair just about every 3 weeks. Covid can not be an excuse for communication and lack of customer service. Every person I talked to told me my chair would be coming in in about a week on the very last time I called I asked to speak to a manager after I was told in one week it would arrive. The manager then told me it wouldnt be in stock until June. This is absolutely unacceptable. I needed the rest of my set, especially because I got rid of my previous one, thinking it would arrive when it was supposed to in March. I then asked the manager if I could return it and get a different set. I went in to the store and low and behold they have a floor model. Which was not offered to me at all. I arranged to have that delivered. Once I spoke with the manager again, I thought it would be fair to have some compensation or at least the delivery fee from the first order refunded for the wait, the floor model, the lack of the communication and for Basically having to go into the store with two little kids to find the chair myself. He said no....... so after furnishing my whole house, kids bedrooms dining room basement, they have lost my business, maybe your too?
I may have just found the nicest couch for the best price. My sales guy Mark Abeyta was so patient with me and had me pegged for what I really wanted. I walked in saying I want contemporary and he said traditional. And he was right. I want my home to feel cozy, not sheek and uncomfortable.Oh, Marks wife is a designer and she taught him well.
I like this chain overall. I was shopping for area rugs. I found them, and began to shop. I was there 30 mins, and no one even approached me to assist. Given, the store was busy that day, but come on...I bought nothing.
People were friendly, knowledgeable and I found and bought what I needed quickly.
Always find what I need and really friendly people!
I have bought many things from AFW (Colorado Springs location & had nothing but amazing experiences) so I am sad that I have to give the Lakewood location 1 star. My boyfriend and I went in last week looking for a new sectional and found one that we loved and it was priced at $648. We found a sales person (older gentleman, last name started with an A, and I think his first name was John.) to go ahead and order the couch. We had snapped a picture of the tag and the sectional in the showroom had a left chaise so we asked the sales person if we could order that exact couch, but with the right chaise. He was looking the product up and said that it was currently unavailable and we would be waiting until the end of March for it. I totally understood that, there were signs posted about products being delayed due to COVID. I then asked if the left chaise sectional was available. He quickly said no that one is not available either. He told us that basically anything in that price range (that affordable of a price range, was the term he used) we would be waiting for at least a month. If we wanted something immediately we needed to look in the $1000 + price range. I wasnt really sure if this was a sales tactic or if he was just being honest with us. My boyfriend and I decided to leave the store and just keep looking. I decided to just get online (while in the AFW parking lot) and check the availability online. The exact sectional that we tried to order was in fact available online and we ordered it right there and it was delivered to us today. Again, I dont know if that was a sales pitch to get more commission or just an honest mistake but it did bum me out, and to be honest I wont be returning to this location because of this.
I payed for a couch. Sales person said they would have it in stock within 3 weeks. They were suppose to call me and schedule the delivery. 3 weeks later, still no phone call. I called them and they said it would not be in until the end of this month (4 more weeks from now). I do not think anyone was ever going to call me and update me. A bunch of people working there who really do not care or know what’s going on.Also, the more expensive the furniture is the more the delivery fee is. It is not based on size or weight or distance. Just if you pay more money, you’re rewarded with paying more money for delivery!!
If you are trying to get a piece of furniture any time in the next 2-4 months, you will want to look elsewhere. We bought a new sectional with an expected delivery date at the beginning of September. Sure enough a week after purchasing we got a call letting us know the dates have been pushed back 2 weeks. A week before that date was to arrive I got another call now telling me that parts of my sectional will be here at the end of October and the other parts at the end of December. Had we known from the start that receiving a full sectional would take 5 months we sure wouldn’t have purchased from AFW.
I ordered furniture from the Littleton location about 2 years ago. I was promised delivery of my front room furniture first thing. I trusted them so I had my old furniture hauled away. When my furniture still had not arrived by noon I called the store and got the run around. It was sleeting and starting to ice up so I went outside to move my car to my carport and took a horrible fall. I hit my head and eye nearly passing out. Within 30 minutes I knew the injury was bad so I called the AFW Littleton store to let them know that my furniture still had not arrived and that I had a head injury and felt that I needed to go to the ER. The lady who answered screamed at me and said they were on the way and if I didnt wait I would not see my furniture for two weeks. I had absolutely no furniture in my living room and decided to wait for the delivery truck. My eye and forehead swelled up and my eye bled down into my cheek. I remember little else about that day other than my furniture did not arrive until 9:30 that night. I do remember a female from the AFW Littleton location threatening me but little else. I went to bed with a splitting headache and woke up several hours later and realized I needed immediate medical attention. I ended up with a head concussion and a black eye that covered the right hand side of my face. The injury was so bad I have permanent damage. They did not unwrap my furniture or set it up and I have no recollection as to why due to my concussion. I recently went to AFW to purchase some additional furniture at this location only to be told I have been banned from purchasing from them. The store manager came out of his office to let me know but offered no explanation. He stood there with a smirk on his face as though it was a real high for him and he was getting off letting me know. I told him I will take my money else where. I would rather buy snake oil from the devil than spend another penny at AFW. I went to Furniture Row and had an excellent experience purchasing 2 pieces over a thousand dollars. I feel sorry for the pathetic person who calls himself a store manager but more so who actually believes he is a man. Go else where at all cost.

This store is not as large as the West Minster one, but still lots of selection. We were able to find a well sized couch that fit in our cramped space (and it had under cushion storage!)We are always impressed with their prices (seriously, any other store is more expensive including online with coupons)Our interaction was sweet and conside, salesman was professional and knowledgable.However, we had been in this store 3 times and only once were approached by a worker. Having worked in sales, I understand that profiling is a part of strategy but it may make some folks feel less special as a customer.
Customer service is excellent when you call, but once you go into the store not a soul greets you or ever comes around. Also the dinning set I want is still out of stock, plus the price went up. I was told the price wasnt a sale price and wouldnt go up. All the tags were changed today to higer prices. Pretty bummed out!
Its Friday 8/7/20 - I stood in this store 45 minutes not one person asked if I needed help nor was willing to help. Seemed like several of the employees were just chatting behind the registers or just walking around. Very poor customer service, never felt so ignored during a shopping experience in my life. I was there to make a purchase and no one was willing to help me other than one guy that answered a quick question but he left to go back to talk to another customer. Store didnt seem under staffed, Ive never been to a place of business where at least if all these workers see you waiting or standing there and just walk by and not at the very least ask if you need anything and let the customer know youre handling someone now and that someone would be with me. Very lackluster help, I was there to spend some money and buy even as no one helped the same people that seen me waiting for help watched me walk out the door 45 minutes later and just looked at me and still didnt ask if I found anything, need help with anything, nothing.
Mattress was in stock and ready for delivery in 2 days from purchase. Delivery was communicated well and timely.
Horrible customer service. Been lied to about delivery more than once. Ordered first week in december and said I would have the order before end of year. Two month later still waiting. Told me 5 different times Ashley Furniture scheduled order to be delivered to american furniture warehouse delivery and now its another 4 weeks. Not our fault they say. Ashley Furn keeps saying they deliver to their store. I never get a firm date and its nobodys fault my order isnt complete. Horrible. Make sure its instock before you buy. Called Ashley Furniture and they cant lookup my order.
It took a week to get my supposed in stock furniture. They didnt call me when it got in. One of the chairs was broken. I have to wait another 4 day for a replacement. The table stand holes didnt line up. I had to drill my own holes to make the table top line up with the stand. I guess you get what you pay for. The price was good. They helped me load my truck. I am still disappointed with my first experience with AFW. Not sure if I will ever shop there again.
This used to be my favorite furniture store until today, when they told me that it would cost $70 to deliver a little twin box spring, 3 miles away. Wow, no allowance for a small order, its a flat milage rate for up to $1200, as if a small sale is the same. Thats a shame.After reading some of these other reviews, its a wonder why theyre still in business. I wont try here again.
Absolutely thrilled with the service we received from John! He was so helpful, and provided extremely great customer service. If anyone is looking for great quality furniture at a discounted price, come here and ask for John(tall guy). Couldn’t have hoped for a better experience!!
I’ve spent a lot of money over the years here... and usually have a good experience... this last one was horrible. We scheduled our delivery one month out, because our mattress was on back order, but Lee assured me that it would be in by 10/2, and he would call me with updates or if it wasn’t in by then. I needed to change my delivery date on 9/29, and I verified all my furniture was in stock and ready to be delivery for today 10/3... then I get a call this morning from the delivery drivers who were 45 minutes BEFORE their time window, just to find out my mattress was not on the truck and on back order, and wouldn’t be here until 10/15!!! Even though someone told me 4 days prior it was in... meanwhile, I just spent the last 24 hours driving out of town and back to donate my old mattress... so I called customer service, spoke to 2 ladies who were both extremely rude, and refused to let me talk to their supervisor. I ended up going into the store, where I had to wait probably 30 minutes because nobody but the manager could help me and he was busy. So he finally gets to me, and I had to change the mattress that I really wanted (Cali King) to a normal king because I don’t have a bed at this point. Travis (the manager) was the only reason I didn’t cancel my whole order and go somewhere else. Even though I couldn’t get exactly what I wanted, he spent an hour with me, and multiple follow up calls to make sure I could get my furniture today. It was supposed to be a delivery, which turned into a pickup because I would have to wait another week for delivery - and when we got to the Thornton store for our pickup, Lee (our original sales person) had put in the WRONG dining room set - and so we had to wait another hour for them to correct our order and get us the right table set... not to mention that while I was at this store, another customer had the same issue with Lee - not following up, no contact about the back order being even further out... seems like their sales associates don’t know what they are doing; and don’t really care or follow up when they’re supposed to. Regardless of COVID, it’s not hard to pick up a phone and let someone know their order isn’t on time. Overall, the WORST experience I’ve had by far - but thank you to Travis for taking the time and trying to make things as right as he could.
Anthony Ortiz the sales consultant was very professional with how he handled things. I would recommend asking him for help there. Five stars on his part . Just the only down side was the management team they need some work on communication they should give this guy a raise
I am so disappointed I went there two weeks ago and paid for a twin-size bed they were supposed to deliver it yesterday I mean a full size they came here with a twin size I dont know what to think Floyd he was thinking when he answered me cuz he told me they didnt even have twin size he got on the computer and ordered it from another store and not the bed that I was sitting on that I want it so thats how that went I told so I got my money back went across the street and phone the same bed even cheaper full size $100 cheaper for Memorial Day weekend or whatever you know they wouldnt even give me the bed anyway although the bed was $100 more they didnt work no bargain with me or anything their loss I got me another bedchamber

The options of furniture and decor are great and there are plenty of options for both large and small spaces. Furniture is affordable for all budgets and of great quality! Emilio worked with our personal taste and helped us with options within our price range and style. The delivery option is making moving less stressful which is wonderful. We highly recommend!
Lots of furniture to choose. Plenty of selections. Good prices. Our experience with many items bought here at AFW, they just dont last more than a few years. We have bought, couches, (3ea in 8years), dinning room set, stools, lounge chairs, (2years and broke), night stands, computer center, and others. They just dont last over a few years. 4 years tops, on anything Ive got in past 15years.

They are suppose to call you when a back order is in.I got no such call. The ware house workers loaded my furniture like i was interrupting them. Poor service all the way around. I get better service and furniture from Conns.

Bought our couch 2 weeks ago they told us they would be in 9/25-27 then said would be in 9/30 now they are telling us 10/13. Horrible customer service. And zero communication.In response to your reply:Does Covid also prevent your employees from picking up the phone and communicating to your customers?
