So they made renovations so the place looks entirely different than before. They got new owners & honestly good riddance to the old ones cause they were so rude.. They have a lot of bundle hair, hair products, accessories and braiding hair (pastel ombre colors that I really liked). I hope these nice people stay in business!

My 84 yo Mother uses a hair net to sleep in, she still has a full head of Silver Hair, and when she does not feel up to adding rollers to her hair, the thick thread hair net will do, and Pink Beauty in Lakewood is the only store near Downey that carries the thick thread hair net, at 2 for 6.00 is worth the 15min drive over.

Rude. They wont acknowledge you when youre standing directly in front of them.. Stood there waiting for help, she just looked up & continued to write down whatever she was writing.. Very, rude. Will NEVER support this Pink.. the other stores are much better with service & better selections. This place is garbage.

Shame that most of these stores sell items marketed for “black-women” but typically won’t have someone there that actually knows about afro-textured/curly hair ... I mean atleast be able to help me with a question Politely please(emphasis on politely) ...but guess should’ve kept in mind it location. My mistake

Shouldnt even be given a star at all because it was so lame of an experience. Was trying to pick up some dye for the first time. I asked the lady where it was? She said NO SERVICE JUST BUY I said, just wanted to know where the dye was. She says it again.. Im like well how the heck should i even buy something from you if you cant be kind? She said YOU BUY OR JUST LEAVE NO LOOK Most horrible experience.. What a weirdo!!!
