So this shop is a place you can go and find anything from wigs,to different types of extensions and anything for styling needs,jewelry like ankle bracelets & all kinds of hair accessories. The owners being knowledgeable is always a plus for pointers too. For where they’re located, I havnt found another store within proximity with as much to offer yet😊

Since EVERYONE knows to drive on Saturdays in Lakewood, traffic was minimal and the sales clerks were most helpful. Store was not too crowded. Pleasant experience.

The ladies here are sweet and they have a wide selection. Its in a busy area so keep in mind what time of day you got but it serves its purpose well.

The selection of hair products, extensions and wigs is vast and high quality. Process are very competitive and the stylist who helped me with my selections was knowledgeable, kind, and went above and beyond to help me create my best look for a very important event. She was efficient and skillful, with careful attention and excellent suggestions. I will go no where else but here. You have a loyal customer for life!

Staff is very nice but purchased a $250 weave that was supposed to be no tangle, no shed and was able to be toned and it wasnt. I was told they would reach out to the manufacturer and get back to me so i can get a refund and I have heard nothing back in 8 mths. Very frustrating......

Really big beauty supply store they have a lot of nice wigs but one of the nicest things that they could add to their store is a hairstylist because a lot of people would buy wigs but it might be too long and it may need to cut sew a hair stylist would be a nice thing to add and Im not saying for free you know a minimum price because they are purchasing a wig but that would be really nice I would love to see that and this beauty supply store

I got to this store 5 minutes before they closed after driving 20 min to get there knowing exactly what I needed. I told the clerks I just needed to grab something and I still had a few minutes before closing time. They refused. Very poor customer service. If you close at a certain time, people count on you to be open until that point. Very disappointed in how they treat their customers.

Went to an extreme and cut off all my hair because of damage... the next day I googled beauty supply stores near me and ended up here to find a wig. I’ve never needed a wig. I’ve always had long beautiful hair up until the last 2 years. The woman who helped me was wonderful. She was so helpful. Didn’t let me overspend by basically getting 2 of the same wig. Helped me try on 6-7 different wigs. And suggested the type of wig that would be best for me. Also helped me by answering all my questions (I had a ton) the people at the counter were very nice as well. Really liked this place. Definitely recommend!!

Having purchased accessories and costume jewelry at this location I like the selections and reasonable prices. Earrings scarves belts and headwear have a great choice of colors and styles from casual every day to special occasions options. Customer service. may vary depending upon the department youre perusing but in general I have found the personnel to be ok There have been occasions when I sought help finding certain things but it wasnt a problem getting assistance. Ive never returned any purchase of anything so I have no information about how that might be handled. I do know they have a minimum for debit/credit card purchases.UPDATE. Great place for hair supplies for all types

Person in the wig area, seems like she wanted to be anywhere else but there! Shes normally a little more helpful, but not this day! I understand it was a Monday but if you want people to come and spend their money, you should have people there that at least act like they want to help you! Theres other choices!

I went here for the first time yesterday to get my first wig and I have to say, everyone was so helpful and sweet! They walked me through what type of wig I was looking for based on my needs and gave me great tips on how to care for it and how to store it! They made sure that it fit right and they even gave me some wig caps to go with it! I wish I got the girls names do that I could shout them out, one of them had lovely long blonde dreads and the other had medium length black hair, anyway they were both so helpful even though it was at the very end of the day right before they closed! Overall, this was truly a great first time wig-buying experience and I will definitely be returning!

Ive move out of Lakewood 29 years ago to Jackson. I was a resident of Lakewood for 14 years. A beauty shop for people of color was welcomed. Ive been a long time customer since they moved into Lakewood. I stopped by the store to pick up hair pins and dye. The younger owner with all the makeup on was so nasty to me because I didnt buy more. I Had to insist inorder to get a bag for my items. You know by now, Im older so this was a Huge disrespect to me. They were nice with the fake smiles as long as they have a lot of your money. They give nothing to the community after they made so much money off of us. We as a people should not tolerate this disrespect in our community. I understand it is convenient. But when at all possible use, the one in town they are more sincere than the Koreans on route 9. We can make our own products in the kitchen and go natural. We can keep all our money in our own families.

Since I moved out to this area this is the closest beauty supply store to me they have almost everything your normal African American hair store supplies for our needs, price-wise not sure but theyre pretty decent. I just hope they dont get lost in Lakewood like a lot of businesses because of the changes

I came here for clip in extensions after a recommendation from my hairstylist. I was greeted upon arrival and asked if I needed help finding anything. I told the woman I was looking for clip in extensions. She then got the attention of another employee who was not at the duster, where she was working, to assist me. The woman then brought me over to the section of the store where their extensions are and I was immediately impressed by their selection. After asking me the length, texture and price range I was looking for she then grabbed a couple bags and started taking the hair out to color match the extensions to my hair color. She actually got the color right on the first try! I left happy and the quality of the hair was so nice I still use them and it’s been 6 months of constant wearing brushing and washing.

You know how you see a product on the internet or magazine, T.V. they have it. You can stop going to this store then another store you dont have to do this anymore. They have it all and there prices are decent.

Worst place ever, they have high prices and are low on stock. There staff is very mean. I asked a simple question and they laughed at me. The one lady tried to help but she just couldn’t supply what I needed. The lady at the counter was the worst. Shouldn’t laugh at customers.
