These guys provide quality service and professional communication. They treat their customers with the utmost respect. Cannot say enough good things about these guys. Highly recommend!
I have an old Forester that I just cant part with yet. Reid and Shayne have gone WAY above and beyond to keep it running. From the honest advice they have given me, to the quality of work completed, to the tenacity of the crew to ensure they got it right is impeccable! And they stand 100% behind their work! I had a part fail and they made it right without question.I cant say enough good things about Subiesmith. Thank you!
Most honest person I have ever encountered in the car repair business! Willing to help in anyway possible. A true gentleman with a moral conscious. Thank you. The two ladies from Kansas who donated the car.
They spent a lot of time looking for cheapest possible fixes. Great problem solving and they did an amazing job explaining what was going on. The news was not great, but I really appreciate their expertise and time.
Very honest and informative. Sean took the time to explain what was wrong with my forester and fit me in for a quick triage appointment. Will definitely be coming back here for future issues.
I took my 2008 Impreza to Subiesmith for a second opinion on a power steering issue diagnosed by the dealer. I knew in the first call that I picked the right place. They took time to listen and explain how they do business, and would let the tech do the inspection independent of any feedback I provided from the dealer. During the free inspection they took me under the car to point out the leaks, and a few other issues that would need my attention immediately or in the near future. They topped off power steering fluid and got the air out of the lines which greatly improved the driving condition while I considered options. I appreciate the Subiesmith team for giving me all the information to make a decision, and a really fair price that beat the dealer. Ultimately the right decision for me was to get a new car so this review is my best way to pay it forward and thank your team. If you are a potential customer reading this review and have a Subaru in need of maintenance or repair then call Subiesmith. Nothing is better than seeing for yourself and this team will take the extra time to show and explain issues. Best customer service and I wish I had found them years ago.
I havent even gotten my car back yet, but already I can see that they know their $h!t. Very professional, more money than I was hoping to spend during these tight times, but peace of mind into a not good situation.
I can’t say enough about Subiesmith and the team there! Earlier this week, I took my car in because it wasn’t starting. Turns out, there was nothing immediately wrong with it and the team was not only very kind despite my embarrassment but they didn’t try to drum up an issue that needed repair. Absolutely the MOST ethical shop I’ve ever been to—I’m a customer for life. They’ve done great work to my Outback and I actually look forward to taking my car in for its next maintenance appointment.
It did a great job on my 2009 Subaru tribeca. Only fixed the issues that need ed to be fixed and didnt at a great price with friendly service. Thank you very much.
Wow, fantastic. Shane gave me his honest advice, explained all of the options available, reminded me about upcoming required servicing, and graciously answered all of my questions. Everything was professional and prompt. I will definitely be visiting for all of my future maintenance.
We took our Subaru in because the check engine light came on, along with a host of other issues and Shane was absolutely outstanding to work with. His knowledge, patience, thoroughness, and compassion was 11/10. We will definitely be taking our car here from now on. Highly recommend!
Aaron, Reid, Tiffany and the rest of the crew at SubieSmith have exceeded any and all expectations I have for a repair shop with their superior customer service, thorough work and fair, transparent pricing. I took a recently purchased, high-mileage Outback in for head gasket replacement and was blown away by the quick turn around, quality work and consistent communication throughout the process. I will absolutely be returning for all future work on this vehicle and suggest anyone looking for quality work on their Subaru do the same. Thanks for a great experience and for getting me back on the road so quickly!!!
SubieSmith was great, they looked at my car on short notice cause I thought something major was wrong, booked an appointment to get it fixed... knowledgeable and friendly!! Found my new Subaru mechanic.
Honest and patient mechanics. I appreciate them and their work.
Top notch auto repair experience from start to finish. They’re excellent at communication, the drop off and pick up was nearly effortless (they have lock boxes), in addition to smooth logistics, they also provided me with the inspection and quote very timely, and had my vehicle finished in less than 24 hours. Was able to pay for said services all online; and picked up vehicle after hours per one of their lock boxes. I was recommended this place from an acquaintance, and I won’t take my Subaru anywhere else again. Real straight shooters, no bs.
Honestly couldn’t have asked for better service. I recently bought a Subaru Forester that required a lot more work than originally anticipated. Reid and team at Subiesmith broke down all the repairs recommended and sent them to me in an easy to understand comprehensive manner that showed them in order of importance and a breakdown of all the costs and labor. I am so happy that I finally found a great service center that I can trust and rely on for many years to come. My Subaru is not the easiest to work on because of a few different factors but the team here at Subiesmith went above and beyond any expectations that I had. 10 out of 10 will recommend to anyone with a Subaru.
I went in about a couple months ago with my Subaru Legacy for an on going seat belt chime that wouldn’t turn off. I forgot who I spoke with but they said it will take a few minutes, as I’m sitting in their waiting room they ask me to take pictures for their website. I had no problem with this, but I go in the garage and my car is lifted up. They put me under it with a mechanic that was working there. Here I am under my car wondering why I’m under my car instead of actually fixing what’s wrong with it.They told the mechanic to point to something and then told me to look as if I’m learning something. When that was done, I’m sitting in the waiting room again and another mechanic grabs me aside and shows me what they’ve done so far. They took off the cover to my ignition that holds all the wiring and told me there is nothing they can do. They then sent me home without putting my cover back on. I am highly disappointed, not only did they waste my time but they decided not to put my car back together. I recommend that you don’t go here, especially if you’re new to cars.
Awesome staff. Super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back
This is probably the most honest, informative repair shop Ive ever made use of. Honesty is too rare a thing for car repair service. I highly recommend them.
Great affordable shop that will not tell you you have to replace the whole part of your car that something has gone wrong.
Great people, great service and honest.
Ive been going to these folks since 2015 (their old physical location). They are the absolute best. Fair pricing, honest opinions (thought my 00 Forester engine was dead and they told me it could be repaired for $300) and they under-promise delivery times. Recently had my car stolen and recovered. They were able to salvage the steering column that I thought needed to replaced. Much less expensive than I ever would have dreamed. This shop is so good Im really leaning toward my next car being a Subaru just so I can have a reputable repair shop. Seriously. Give Tiffany, Reed, Shane, Aaron and the whole crew a shot at keeping your Subaru running strong. Youll be very glad you did.
Love this place very helpful and answered all my questions and even bent back the plate behind my rotor for free
I recently purchased a used Subaru WRX and was experiencing some concerning oil consumption problems. I was fairly new to Subarus at the time and didnt have any idea as to what could be causing the problem.I decided to get in touch with SubieSmith in order to work out diagnosing the source of the problem. I spoke with Aaron over the phone and explained my situation. I had lost about 1.5 quarts of oil in the span of ~300 miles and frequently smelt burning oil during highway/spirited driving. Aaron recommended the free inspection their shop offers and I went ahead and scheduled an appointment.First VisitI arrived at SubieSmith for the free inspection and once again explained my oil consumption problem to the tech performing the inspection. The tech removed the oil cap and started the car. He placed his hand above the oil fill tube and explained that there was an alarming amount of air escaping out of the fill tube. He went on to explain that this is what happens when air in the cylinder slips past the rings of the piston and gets into the crankcase, which causes the air to come out of the fill tube. He went on to add that the oil consumption problem was most likely due to a thing called ringland failure. However, this isnt even remotely enough information to jump to the conclusion that there is a significant problem within the engine, there are other things that can cause excess crankcase pressure as well. With the problem still unidentified, Aaron explained that the next step was to do a compression test. They basically said a compression test would explain if the engine was in good health or not. So still in search of the problem, I scheduled the compression test.Second VisitI dropped off the car for the compression test and awaited the results. They had sent the invoice with the results attached. However, they didnt include any pictures or concrete evidence in relation to the actual cylinder compression. So for all I know, these values couldve been completely fake or made up. According to SubieSmith, my compression test had come back quite low and gave them the information they needed to quote me an estimate to fix my oil consumption problem. Aaron explained that the quickest and easiest way to fixing my problem was to purchase a brand new OEM short block and possibly a new turbo. In total, my new estimate was approximately $8,000. I realized this cannot be right and there is definitely something going on here. So here I am, with a car that is allegedly is on the verge of a catastrophic failure, while facing an estimate that costs more than half the original value of the car. And according to SubieSmith, this is the only solution to remedy the problem. The real problemConsidering SubieSmiths repair estimate was flat out sickening, I decided to get a second opinion and do another compression test, but this time with a different Subaru repair establishment. Once again, compression results come in. This time however, the results are higher and the compression is perfectly fine. All of the values are within 10% of each other and there is negligible leakage. Source of the oil consumption: Valve cover gaskets ($650) and a faulty PCV valve ($150). Dont put yourself in a position to be manipulated into paying for repairs that arent even necessary.UPDATE - June 2021I recently got in touch with Aaron regarding his reply to this review. While we spoke over the phone, he had explained that SubieSmith has since replaced the diagnostic testing equipment they use in their shop. In addition to the new equipment the shop now uses, Aaron confidently explained that faulty readings and inaccuracies in diagnostic tests hopefully wont happen again. I was happy to hear that the shop has since updated the tools they use to provide more accurate service for their customers. I may have been unhappy with the service I received at the time, but Im impressed by Aarons consideration and willingness to make the situation right. Aaron kept his word on refunding me for the cost of the service, thank you.
Take it from me, these guys are worth their reviews. I bought a 2005 Subaru Forester XS from a private sale, and there was a weird noise going on deep under the hood. We expected some problems with the car (it being a higher-mileage car) but after some views from our regular mechanic, we wanted a Subaru expert for a second opinion. Reid diagnosed it as a timing belt pulley bearing issue and while we werent thrilled about having to pay to fix that (not Subiesmiths fault; nobody likes mechanic bills), they took care of it WITHIN A DAY at a very reasonable price. The car sounds better than ever and runs like a champ. Thanks guys.
They offer a free inspection and send you a detailed email report same day. The whole process was very easy. Thanks to Shane for being polite and helpful.
Friendly service! Took my Subi in for a check up and they looked it over, they recommended fixes without that pressure you get from normal shops, I love that! I cant wait to work with them on future repairs!
I wanted to get a little more information on a used vehicle (love my Legacy) I recently purchased. Shane was the first person I talked to on the phone to set up the inspection, and he was beyond helpful. His professionalism, knowledgeability, and customer care are excellent to say the least. He was willing to answer every single pesky question I threw his way. Later on I had the pleasure of working with Tiffany when I brought my car in to be looked at. Her customer interaction fell right in line with what Shane had lead me to expect from this shop. Again, she was patient, knowledgeable, and more helpful than she needed to be.Im no mechanic, but I know enough about cars to know when Im being swindled. These are honest people who arent out to trick you into repairs. I would highly recommend coming here to get a straightforward, detailed, and respectful interaction. This shop embodies above and beyond service and integrity all around. Thank you Shane and Tiffany. I look forward working with you again soon, but not too soon. ;)
Awesome place to do business. Wont pressure you into buying a repair but will give a time frame in which it will need to be done. Shane and Reid were awesome to deal with
Honest and trustworthy, we drive 40 minutes from Aurora because they are worth it
Im leaving this review ahead of calling in hopes that my experiences can be matched to all the other wonderful reviews This company has earned. They didnt an awesome job with replacing my wheel bearings on my forester. No troubles were encountered and they did the work for a fair and reasonable price and afterwards I got a free soda!
Shane was kind enough to take a quick look at my car that had been towed in without an appointment and diagnose the issue so I could make an informed decision as to what to do next. Super helpful, kind and professional.
Did not specify online or in person until after diagnosis was finished that they dont work on cars with modifications. This wasted my time and fuel thus my money to be turned away!
The clutch on my standard 2015 Subaru Forester was starting to slip, so I started the arduous process of collecting estimates from shops around the area. After a few eye-watering numbers from shops around the area, I checked out Subie Smith - they were the only shop to provide up-front, all costs included estimates on their website, and the only shop I could find that would replace my clutch at a reasonable price. After calling in to the shop, Aaron, the shop owner, informed me they could have my car back to me before the weekend (a Wednesday - Friday turnaround)! Aaron stayed in touch with me the whole time my car was in the shop, keeping me updated on the progress of the job, and even did an all-around inspection of my vehicle to make sure it was in tip-top shape, free of charge. Subie Smith and their staff are professional, kind, and keep the well-being of their customers at the top of their minds. Highly recommend!
Best of the best. If you own a subaru that isnt under warranty then take it here for your repairs!
This was the first time I have needed to find a service center for my Subaru and was thrilled to find SubieSmith. I worked with Aaron, Shane and Tiffany...they were all super friendly, professional and fixed my issue immediately! So glad to have found my go-to mechanic for any future car issues. Thank you for your 5-star service...I can see why you have a near perfect score!!
The crew here is top notch. They explain everything. The pricing is totally transparent. The work is professional. If you own a Subie, this is a place to go for fixes big and small.
They did a thorough work up but were unwilling to work with my daughters warranty. Besides engine troubles they mentioned tires being low pressure and needing to be replaced. BUT they didn’t bother to add any air before sending her out and one tire was even damaged while she was there, without her knowledge. So following day she is stranded with a broken flat tire! As a parent this is unbelievable to me that they let her leave with no warning of how dire the situation was or putting her spare on.
This place was awesome 👌. The Mechanic Aaron was super helpful, and super knowledgeable. I honestly dont think Ive ever had such a nice phone call with a mechanic in my life, even despite my cars issues! Thankyou and will continue service, especially with future Subarus!
Highly Recommend! Honest, knowledgeable, and highly professional! ...and thats just for the one hour they dont charge for giving a complete mechanical assessment on my 2010 Outback. Amazing! Shane, Reid, Aaron go above and beyond every expectation.
I have greatly struggled with finding a reliable garage since moving to CO 6 years ago. I have been jostled around a bit, paying more than what I was initially told by mechanics. Subiesmith is so unique in that they are honest and transparent about the TOTAL cost before working on your vehicle. I took my new-to-me Outback to Subiesmither for a wellness check and Reid provided a comprehensive breakdown of the items that needed to be done, based on importance. The customer service that Reid provided was above and beyond and I am so thrilled that I found a mechanic I can trust!!!
I would highly recommend Subiesmith. I will preface this by saying that I am a DOY guy when it comes to basic car repair. I was having some issues with my alternator, so I gave Subiesmith a call. They were extremely helpful, and helped to give me some ideas of issues with the belt, and how to possibly fix them. I was thankfully able to simply tighten the alternator belt down to alleviate the issue. They at no point tried to up-sell me into bringing it in for a fix that I may not need. They seemed extremely straight-up and trustworthy- which is probably the reason they have so many 5-star reviews. I will be sure to bring them my 05 Forester XT next time I face an issue in which I can not fix. 5-Stars.
30 Sep 2020I have an issue with my girlfriends car. Im shopping around to see who I should use to fix it. Shane answered the phone and spent 19 minutes talking with me about all the various issues about my particular problem. Gave me three courses of action and approximate price for the diagnostic operation. WOW.. even told me to call back since information is free. Very good customer service to a non-customer!
I can’t say enough good things about Subiesmith. As a female new to the Denver area (not a lot of connections), I was intimidated during the new car purchasing process. Their in depth pre-purchase inspections are incredible! They explain everything to you in detail and even provide videos to show you if something is malfunctioning so you have a lot of negotiating power with the dealership. Their staff is kind, thorough, and proponents of educating their customers about their cars. They really go above and beyond. Thank you guys so much!
They were great.
Shane and Aaron are amazing! Kind, knowledgeable and extremely patient. We asked a million questions and they answered all of them. Dont bring your Subaru to the dealer bring them here! Trust me youll be happy that you did! Thanks Shane and Aaron you guys are the best in the industry!
Excellent customer service, well written bids and upfront and honest... if you have an STI dont park across the street! lol
Ryan scholle and I had a great time. Except for the fact that he was with someone else! And Ryan has absolutely no knowledge nor does he have any business to be there without me therefore the problems were unresolved and I cannot put 100% blame you guys for that. Your guys did their part and you did it well but I think weve had this issue before so thats why Im only leaving you two stars
I had one of the best customer experiences with Subiesmith today. I called to see if they could fit me in for a pre-purchase inspection. I talked with Reed and he walked me through the process of what they do. Unfortunately, they were booked almost a week out and I didnt have the time to wait. He then offered to have me come in and do an inspection and a quick test drive. He was super patient with me as I had a ton of questions as this was going to be my first Subaru. He walked me through all the nuances of the Subarus and explained to me what he was listening for as we did the test drive. He didnt even charge me for his time. I would recommend this repair shop to anyone. I live on the other side of town but would seriously consider driving there based on my experience today.
Ive dealt with a lot of shops, and have struggled to find an honest, straight forward, and knowledgeable shop . Subiespeed checked all the boxes. Price, professionality, and alll the employees knowledge of Subarus was outstanding . You can tell they know what theyre talking about, even more so than every Subaru tech Ive ever had to talk to from night mares of dealing with the dealership . The gentleman I talked to didnt try to up sell me, while working on my clutch and doing their inspection they informed me of another issue . Rather than trying to give me the run around of you need this fixed now blah blah he told me he couldnt consciously recommend replacing it and spending the money yet. That stuck out to me profoundly and is a sign of a shop that isnt just out to line their pockets. Ill be back for any and all repairs I cant do myself and I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for knowledgeable and professional Subaru vehicle services or repairs .
Super friendly staff! My oil change was quick and affordable. It’s evident these guys do everything they can to take great care of their customers.
Very thorough work! Did a great job explaining the process and the costs were exactly what they qouted me! I would definitely recommend them for other Subaru owners!
It was wonderful. Great staff. Extremely professional. Only place to take my Subaru!!!
By far one of the best shop experiences Ive ever had. These guys are friendly, honest and know their Subarus. When it came to my specific issue, they didnt just give me one outrageously expensive solution, they advised and educated me on what the problem was, how it may have occurred and a couple of ways to go about fixing it.I was taken directly into the shop to be shown what had or hadnt gone wrong with my vehicle, a nice change from the typical approach that a lot of mechanics tend to take. Will definitely be bringing my Subaru here from now on.
I had major engine problems and Subiesmith made it an easy process and experience. They are extremely polite and helpful and really want the best for their customers. I will be going here for all my Subaru needs!
Took my Outback here to get their free check-up first before I wanted to get my head gasket/timing kit/ clutch work done. They found a bunch of stuff wrong that I didnt know about and some that I already did. After thinking about how much $$$ I needed to spend on a car that was not worth that much, i decided to not get the work done and sell the car instead. Shane answered all my questions (some that I knew the answer to just to check what his response would be) and they know their way around a Subaru. I dont live in the Denver area and took my car here because of all the excellent reviews. If I had a Subie, this would be the only place Id think about taking it.
Amazing service, professional work at a good price. Special shout out to Ace for doing great work on my car.
Its clearly been well documented here, but must repeat more of the same: These guys are great! Very comfortable, honest, transparent, educational, experience from start to finish. I had quite a few problems with my Forester and they detailed the urgency of each recommended repair, with clear pricing, and no pressure to perform any services that werent of my choosing.Upon some complications performing the repairs due to rust under the car, they immediately contacted me with recommended solutions that would be more trouble/time/money, again leaving the approval up to me. I always felt as though I was working with honest, knowledgeable people, passionate about what they do. Will be a lifetime customer.
Quoted me 7k for a rod knock...brought it elsewhere and was immediately informed that the issue was NOT a rod knock, and the fix would be less than 2k to complete. Cant help but feeling that they either dont know their stuff or sought to rip me off. Will not return.
Very thorough and honest. They actually make w video showing what they looked at before doing the work. Great job on my A/C and wheel bearings.
Absolutely great experience after blowing a head gasket 500 miles from home - as great as possible anyway. The business model is great as well - tons of communication with their customers, and hands-on explanation. Its been years since Ive found an auto repair shop this good.
As I told Aaron the owner today, I’ve never actually enjoyed working with an auto mechanics’ shop in the way I do with Subiesmith. They are honest, direct, comprehensive and fair. And good natured, to boot.My 2008 Outback and I are very appreciative; and I am a loyal customer.
SubieSmith did a significant amount of work on my 2010 Subaru Forester for a very fair price. Aaron took a lot of time to go over my vehicle with a fine-toothed comb, explained what he saw - and expected to see - and then gave me an accurate quote. He kept me informed throughout the process, and stuck to the original repair schedule. I had my car back in the timeframe quoted, for the price quoted. He even explained the warranties on the various replacement parts and provided me with authenticity and warranty papers on the appropriate ones.Aaron is honest, honest, honest. He and the other workers at SubieSmith clearly have passion for what they do, and they garner a lot of respect from their customers. Ive never experienced a car repair like this. I would not hesitate to: 1. Bring my car back; and 2. Trust anything Aaron tells me about my car. All of the folks who work here are truly on the ball!Highly recommended.
Awesome shop. Every technician is honest, approachable and knowledgable. Repairs are timely and affordable. Plus, they always follow-up on repairs / maintenance to ensure everything is still running smoothly down the line. Worth the drive to the other side of town! Highly recommended.
Best shop experience Ive ever had!!! Ive had my wrx for 6 yrs and I would recommend this shop to anyone with a subaru. Ive been having issues with my ac and Reed fixed it in a very short period of time!!! After being told that I needed a whole new system by another shop. Im beyond ecstatic with the experience I had there today. I cannot thank all of you enough for your kindness, integrity, honesty and great work!!! The whole staff was wonderful and very friendly and made me and my daughter feel so comfortable. Please look no further for all your subi needs!!! Much love and blessings to all of you 🙏 💗🥰 thank you with all of my heart ❤
Can’t say enough great things about the guys at Subiesmith but I’ll try...incredibly knowledgeable (have a deep understanding of Subarus and the wisdom to know not all symptoms have the same source), ethical (saved me thousands over what the dealership proposed to “fix” my car), and considerate (had me in and out with a simple adjustment that took precisely the amount of time they projected).
Shane is amazing! Took the extra time to thoroughly walk me through what was done to my 2011 Impreza and what needs some attention. VERY great attitudes here and even better prices. Very honest reputable place. I will be a happy customer time and time again as things come up.
We have been taking our Subarus here over the last year and cannot recommend Shane, Reid, and the guys at Subiesmith enough. They’re incredibly easy to work with and communicate exactly what your vehicle needs with no pressure or scare tactics to goad you in to costly repairs that are not critical. The work is always done on time (or quicker) and never for more than you’re quoted. The way they will walk you through the inspection process on the vehicle (while they’re performing it) is such a nice touch!
Aaron, Shane and their mechanics are great people! Very nice and professional and fair priced. So many Subaru places quoted me so high and very long wait times also. They got me in and out very quickly and for half the price other places wanted to charge me! Would highly recommend to anyone!
Aaron and his team of mechanics are by far the most exemplary people Ive ever had the pleasure of receiving fantastic quality and fairly priced services from. I have the greatest peace of mind when I leave there, knowing my Outback is running in tip top shape, and knowing, especially as a female, that I have never been taken advantage of and robbed, which Ive experienced in the past. I trust the amazing people at Subie Smith 110% to take great and personal care of me and my vehicle. 5 stars is an understatement!
I had the infamous subaru head gaskets replaced here a year ago as well as some exhaust work and misc, and am still very happy with the repairs! They charge a reasonable amount and do a great job. Go here!
Coming from out of state where I had an outstanding Subaru mechanic, I doubted Id be able to replicate that experience. I have to say SubieSmith was outstanding and set a new (very high bar). Excellent service, stays in touch, and fair prices. And called to follow up after - what mechanic does that? Highly recommended.
I love taking my car to subiesmith! They have great service, do a great job and are a great business!
Thank you again for taking care of my Subie as though it were your own...and for getting it done in a timely manner so I could return home to New Mexico. I appreciate your consistent communication with me every step of the repair process. Ive never experienced that level of quality care in my 60 years of car ownership!
Aaron did great work on my 2010 Subaru Outback and for an excellent value! Head gaskets replaced and resurfaced, and timing belt components replaced. Roughly half the price Subaru and other shops quoted me for the work. I also ended up choosing to have Aaron do a bunch of other smaller related stuff once the engine was out to get ahead of needing future more expensive repairs (labor!).Aarons a very nice, honest, and patient guy. I asked lots of questions about the quality of parts and he gave me a full list of the premium pieces hed be using on my car. Gave full transparency. He explained everything to me at each step of the diagnostic and took time to present all available options once the engine was out and he could see all the related issues. I felt confident having him make all these repairs and the car is running beautifully.Highly recommend. Thanks SubieSmith!
Honest employees, great pricing. Highly recommend.
These folks are incredible! I’ve had busted A/C on my Impreza for awhile now, always thought it was the compressor which is typically expensive to replace. They looked over my a/c system and found that the only thing that was wrong were some bad O-rings. They replaced them and were done in under a few hours, which saved me a ton of money and time! They were also super friendly, straightforward, thorough and honest. I will definitely be taking my Subaru back here.
Best mechanic Ive ever been to. As a medical student I have been traveling from state to state and having a functioning car is vital. The staff at subiesmith were very open, reasonable, knowledgeable and efficient with the repairs I needed and honest about other improvements. Cant go wrong with this place. After getting my car worked on here Ive continued to take it on very long road trips and it has not had any issues at all! I wish every mechanic could be like these guys!
Very knowledgeable, and thorough guys. Genuine mechanics you cant fond anywhere else. Go on a drive with them come back to the shop and they will show you whats going on with your Subaru. Then they prioritize it for you so you can be safe on the road.amazing guys, highly recommended!
Staff was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and really took the time to explain (and show) to me what was going on, teach me about my vehicle and make an honest recommendation about how to approach the issue. As someone who doesn’t have much car experience/knowledge their transparency and non-judgmental approach really put me at ease. Thanks SubieSmith!
They took care of replacing the water pump in my 06 Forester quickly, and for nearly half the quoted price of other shops around town. Set up the appointment via chat, and was in the loop on time and cost expectations from the first time I reached out. Would recommend their work to anyone with a Subaru.
The owner Aaron is really nice and very transparent. I went in to check on a head gasket replacement and I got a really good price. I never felt pressured into getting any work done, but I was told all the possible repairs and what it would cost now and later.I highly recommend these guys for all your Subaru needs.
This is the best shop I have ever been to. Amazing customer service and communication. Timely and solid repairs. They fixed my head gasket on my 2006 impreza flawlessly for a very reasonable price. I honestly couldnt be happier with them. Really nice people as well who are great at explaining the details. Other shops should take notes on how they operate. Thanks SubieSmith! Lifetime customer here for sure.
Great first experience with SubieSmith. Very fair price and fast work. Aaron took the time to explain everything before and after the service. We felt like valued customers. Will definitely be back for future repair work.
Aaron and his team at SubieSmith are the absolute best. They are incredibly honest, educational, caring, and dedicated to their work. The quality of work you receive for the price is unbeatable. Aaron is also amazing at communicating clearly throughout the process and checking in after having major work done. I wouldnt take my car anywhere else!
My BEST auto service experience EVER! (Im age 65.) Aaron explained everything very clearly & answered ALL my questions. He did superb work, replacing my head gaskets and several other things, showing me all the defective parts and communicating with me at every step...all for much lower cost than a dealership wouldve charged. Now my beloved Subaru is all good for another 10 years (or more! :-) When you need Subaru repairs, go to SubieSmith; he is truly awesome!
Awesome service! Really impressed with Aarons level of service. Hes not even open on a Saturday, but he responded so fast on a Saturday to all my questions. The dealership quoted me $5000 to fix my 2008 Outback. Aaron and worked out a plan for a year that only cost me $2200 total. So grateful to Aaron at SubieSmith! Best Subaru mechanic on the front range.
Very thorough in their work, walked me through the car inside and out and were honest about what needed to be done right away and what could wait another year. Excellent results and excellent with their follow-up. They stand behind the work they do, top notch. As long as I own a Subaru theyre my guys
Easily the best mechanic Ive ever been to. Calm, professional, and polite. Gave me a good rundown on everything that might need attention in the future on a car that had been sitting in a driveway for over a year without pressuring me to do any unnecessary repairs.
I took my Legacy to Aaron at SubieSmith to replace my head gaskets and clutch. His professionalism goes beyond what I have experienced at other shops around Denver. It was a clear and honest process, start to finish. Aaron obviously takes pride in his work, as he ensured everything was running properly with multiple follow ups, stretching far beyond my initial appointment. This is one of those rare local businesses where the right price meets the right value - something the larger houses cant always offer. Definitely recommend.
There walk through with the vehicle gave me piece of mind. Very upfront and honest people. Will be using them in the future
Very transparent with what you need done and the prices of services. Recently had a head gasket job done there and am very impressed with how they operated. Would highly recommend bringing your subaru here.
Took my 2009 Outback here for a timing belt, water pump, oil change and inspection. This place is so honest with their pricing, explain everything in detail, and go over the vehicle inspection with you when you pick up the car. This is my new shop to take my beloved Subaru to! Thanks Aaron!
Aaron the owner did a great job with this shop. His staff goes the extra mile to provide friendly, quality, and timely service. I cant say enough good things about this operation. Wouldnt take my Subaru Legacy anywhere else.
My friends recommended SubieSmith to me and I wish I had gone sooner! Aaron and Mike are knowledgable and trustworthy. They offered to let me watch the inspection and oil change (something the dealership has never offered). I now have a better idea of how my car operates and how to care for it. I can tell that they truly care. Plus, they are very reasonably priced. I will be back for future services. Highly recommend. You wont be disappointed!
This is definitely our go to place for our pair of Outbacks. Aaron did a pre road trip check on my wifes car yesterday and wanted me to be right there as he did it. He explained everything as we went through the list and found a few issues but still good for the trip.No charge for the inspection and a print out of recommended repairs. Super nice, knowledgeable and a genuine crew.
Aaron was super professional, informative, and fair. Answered all my questions thoroughly and explained everything in depth. Super nice guy. Hard to imagine taking my Forester anywhere else. I’m not in the habit of reviewing things, but just had to say that if you drive a Subaru, he’s your guy.
Great experience just getting an initial consultation. Very upfront with their pricing, and transparent with repairs that are critical vs what can wait.
