I recently purchased a great used vehicle that was behind on some routine maintenance. I shopped around the community looking for the most competitive pricing, scheduling availability, and reputation for vehicle services.Following a conversation with the store manager Andrew, he offered a free inspection following the initial recommendations from another mechanic. After taking my vehicle to their shop, he guided recommended maintenance and services, and furthermore outcompete other businesses with his ability to schedule the maintenance, repair costs, and ensure high quality services.I scheduled a few of the recommended services. Their technicians quickly resolved some of the vehicle’s requirements, demonstrated a high level of attention to detail and quality of work performed.Andrew was very professional, honest, thoroughly explained options, as well as priorities and consequences of not having certain recommendations performed. He also followed up with progress of work performed and honest about vehicle conditions.Following the initial visit, I was impressed by the previous mentioned content, and brought my vehicle back a second time to complete the work. I look forward to having my future automotive work performed at this store by this talented team. I don’t generally comment on work performed, however after working with many automotive shops over the years, I recognized an extraordinary level of effort that Andrew and the team are performing at MIDAS.

Have been taking my cars there for years but Andrew is the best customer service I have had to date. Even if the computer system didnt want to work this man deserves a raise.

My car died nearby on 7.24. I called & spoke with Andrew (I believe he may be the manager) who told me they would be able to replace the Alternator that same day. Unfortunately, I was unable to get my car towed over to the shop until 2pm & was told because of the delay (they closed at 4 & on Sunday) they may not be able to repair my car until Monday. To my surprise, I received a call not even an hour later that he performed the diagnostics himself & would also perform the work same day. My car was ready for pick up by 3:30! Talk about good service! Thank you for making my day, Andrew!
Called to see if I would be able to pay for my sons car repairs without going in to do it very nice gentlemen and they were able to do that for me. My son is totally thrilled with his vehicle now. He says its never ran so good.

I cant say enough nice things about Mark at the front counter. This man was so patient and kind with all my calls, all my questions, all my issues. I was quoted a price for what I thought the issue was. It turned out to be something different and a much larger price tag. After all the repairs were done, they couldnt start the car, the motor had seized. I was devastated to know I wasnt walking out of there with my car, but just as devastated to know I was going to have to pay that much larger bill for repairs, that were for not. When I got there Mark knew all that I was going through. He removed the purchased part AND the labor involved to that (twice), and charged me only for the original quote .WHO DOES THAT? It was totally unexpected and EXTREMELY appreciated. He mad me cry. It was such a compassionate thing to do. In a world of pain and suffering and so many wrong doers, this act of kindness and compassion will never be forgotten. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU MARK.

Mark was a pleasure to work with. I called him last night and then dropped my keys in their drop during the wee hours of the morning. My car needed an oil change and a replacement HID headlight. I am thankful he had it back to me before they closed shop the same day. They caught a dead fog light I was unaware of and even took the time to inform me of and print paperwork for a $10 rebate from the manufacturer. Thank you!

These guys have always provided reasonable prices, professional service, and an attentive eye to the two cars I have brought here for the last 10 years. They made a few errors (one tech destroyed one of my lugnuts) but they have been reasonable in correcting their mistakes. Mark runs a tight ship over there in my experience.

AVOID THIS MIDAS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!! I have been taking my cars to various Midas locations all over the country for almost 20 years and I have never had any issues until now. I’m absolutely disgusted and blown away by the way I was treated at this location. I have no idea how this location has so many good reviews. Surely I can’t be the only one who has had a negative experience, or perhaps they only provide quality service to certain people?? Back in January of this year I took my Toyota Rav4 in to get the headlights replaced. Instead of replacing my headlights they gave me an oil change that I did not ask for. That should’ve been my first red flag that the little boys working at this location are incompetent and incapable of providing quality services. When I corrected them and told them that I didn’t need an oil change they immediately apologized, gave me the oil change for free and replaced my headlights. That’s the only reason I gave them another chance. Before leaving they also mentioned that my shocks and struts needed to be replaced. I took my car back the following week to have them do that. After they replaced the shocks and struts my car began making a knocking noise whenever I’d drive over bumps and potholes and would also violently veer to the left. My Rav4 has NEVER done that and it did not start doing that until they replaced the shocks and struts. I contacted them and let them know about the issue and they told me to bring it back in. I take it back in and sit around for almost 2 hours and they tell me that they’ll need more time and ask me to bring it back when I’m able to leave it all day. A few days later I drop it off and within an hour they call me and tell me that they should’ve replaced the sway bars along with the shocks and struts and that’s what’s been making the noise. They fix the sway bars and I go pick it up. On my drive home MY CAR IS STILL MAKING THAT NOISE! At this point I’m livid because I’ve already spent over $2,000 to have them do the work that’s caused my car to now make this noise. I ended up taking my car in to a small, local family-owned shop for a second opinion. They do diagnostic testing and tell me that my shocks are completely blown due to poor quality parts being installed and the sway bars are installed incorrectly!!! I can’t even describe how angry that made me. Not only did Midas charge me an arm and a leg but they provided me with poor quality service! I called and spoke with Mark who I do believe is the manager and he denied everything – another red flag. Any decent human being with morals would’ve apologized and offered to correct the problem. Instead, Mark chose to deny and insinuated that the local family-owned shop was lying. Well Mark, I ended up taking my car to another Midas location, not the one you suggested because you’ve lost my trust, but they were able to correct the problems that your incompetent and deplorable staff caused. Please do better! Whatever you guys are doing over there is completely unacceptable, unethical and vile. Stop using poor quality parts and stop charging people an arm and a leg for incompetent work. The family-owned shop offered to correct all of the problems for LESS THAN HALF of what this Midas location charged me. I will NEVER go back to this location and I doubt I’ll ever go to another Midas because now the company as a whole has lost my trust. I don’t want to risk experiencing anything like this ever again so from now on it’s local, family-owned shops for me. You’ve lost a lifelong customer, Midas!
Most people assume that when you take your car to the mechanic they are ripping you off, lets face it a number if them are but there are some out there who will actually help you and not try to pull a fast one on you. This Midas store is great and will help you get back on the road. Thanks
I live near by and this Midas is my spot for car maintenance. Today I got in my car and realized one of my tires was completely flat! I ran it down to the gentlemen at Midas and asked for a quick fill so I could get to the place where I purchased the tires safely. The immediately obliged and got me safely on my way! Thank you!!! I was there Aug 1st to have my thermostat replaced. The guys did a great job!! Took longer then expected but I know they did their best to get me in and out as quick as possible. Thank guys!!
I recently brought my car into this location for an oil change. Upon taking not even 30 seconds to look at my car, the mechanic returned and said he would not do my oil change and that I needed a new motor. I ended up taking the car to a small-business auto shop and when they looked at my oil levels, there was no oil in the engine because the engine was leaking. I do not need a new motor. The mechanic at the Midas that day let me drive out of the parking lot knowing that there was no oil in my engine, which would have caused my engine to cease had I not lived so close to the shop. Do not go to this shop, all they care about is money.
We heard a strange noise on our road trip...so we stopped at this Midas. They were super helpful and patient while listening to our lame description of what we experienced. They drove it around multiple times and had several people look at it. They found nothing and charged us nothing..not a penny..way nicer than any mechanic we’ve ever been to. Updated us as things were happening. Would definitely recommend!
Flat tire on the way to a camping trip. Got us (me and my 3YO) robe away and made quick work of the repair These guys unpacked to the whole back of the car to put the spare back. Quality and friendly service.
Recently bought a used vehicle with an exhaust leak. asked if they could run diagnostics to see what was wrong with the vehicle, but there was no check engine light. They plugged in the computer and got zero issues and still charged me for the service. They found two exhaust leaks and only fixed one, bought the wrong parts charged me for that. Then decided to fix the exhaust leak they had to chop and weld the from behind the cat back. Pretty much they kept running up my ticket and I got my car back with the exhaust leak I went in to fix still there.They were kind and answered my questions but I feel like they didnt care I spent a lot of money and still had my original issue.
Took my jeep in for exhaust/muffler repair and they handled the job efficiently and quickly.

These guys were very helpful and provided prompt service. My only issue was pricing, took an hour and the part and I paid $500. Googled part at $99-$200. I understand that’s the price you pay, but come on! It’s just to bad...☹️

Great, super friendly, knowledgeable staff that literally will fix your car problems you have on the spot, even if they’re busy! Turnover time is very quick, their muffler and welding specialists really know what they’re doing!Came in for a simple weld job on my axle back mufflers. Guy and the crew were great and I was super impressed how the weld went! I will comeback back for anything I need including oil changes.

The price is double what it would be in my hometown (St. George, UT). I called and verified this! For 2 brakes and 2 rotors it is $680 plus taxes and fees. It should have been$309-400. WOW! That is very high. But I am a white woman traveling with kids. So maybe that has a hidden fee like everyother machanics place in the world!!!!!!Watch out. They told me the price and I was in shock and said yes I need it done. I knew it was bad because I waited too long to do the service. So the rotors needed to be done, not just the brake pads. Bummer for me! Good luck all. Im sure they did a good job! Im just frustrated...........😓
Hard to find honest mechanics that get the job done but for the last 2 years Midas has been my go to. Started with just oil changes then have had fuses, shocks, headlights, and a battery replaced between two cars. Always courteous and respectful even when I heard a squeak that the tech couldnt we figured it out after a few trips around the block. 5 stars in my book.

My wife and I had a problem with our 2001 740il bmw it was overe heating and such.They were so accommodating and got us right in very professional the management and the mechanics, Ive just found my new home that we can honestly say we trust hands down ! Thanks guys😊
Took my truck in for alignment. Then Midas said I needed new tie rods. Had that done and alignment still off. So I return a few days later they adjust it .. lefy steering column with a lot of play and the bam my rack n pinion goes out. I take it back they say I need a new rack and pinion. Hmm. I defer take to my usual mechanic. He said both end seals were damaged replaced reack n pinion. Midas rep calls asks me about my experience and does nothing to remedy costs. So Ive now spent close to 2 thousand dollars on truck....bummer

They were so understanding, patient, and very nice to me when I needed my brakes fixed. I had to get home ASAP a few towns away and Rick put me in the first slot and gave me all the discounts he could. My car ran like new. I would definitely recommend this shop!
Bought some tires awhile back (3 years or more ago) and included the road assistance warranty. I recently had a flat tire, took my car to Midas and got it resolved without any hassle.
Waited almost 2 hours for an oil change, even with an appointment.
These guys were super cool. I took my car in for a wheel bearing inspection and our chill tech (Andy) took it for a spin then did a visual inspection and found nothing wrong. Not only that, Thomas was able to accommodate us last minute and didnt charge us either! V chill people. If I lived in the area I would be totally comfortable returning here. Thanks guys!

Primarily worked with Mark and another gentleman, who I assumed to be the general manager, but didnt get his name. Both were very kind, professional, and knowledgeable! They kept me informed about what was going on with my car without blindsiding me with surprise expenses like other garages have. Will absolutely be returning for my Jeeps next tune up!

Went there for a oil change and tire rotation special. Also needed a flat repaired. Mark was awesome and helped us out with the flat repair, thanks Mark. Well, after about an hour we got a call saying that the car was done. When I picked it up and got it home I realized that the rotation was not done. I called back the next day to let them know and Mark got me right in and got it done. I decided to go out to the bay to watch and I noticed that one of the directional tires was backwards. It seems that they pulled off the wrong tire for the flat repair and didnt pay no mind to which way it goes back on. Not only was I inconvenienced by having to come back and waiting again, but I was also witnessing mechanics that dont really care. There also was grease on the seat, hood and door. Dont these guys put covers down?I was passed by the manager twice and NEVER got an apology from him. This is not the way to run a business. To have a paying customer not get what they are paying for and to not even acknowledge the fact that your hiring sucks is not a good thing. Practice your customer service skills. I will not be back again, even with the free oil change coupon.
Rick is the master of Midas. He knows exactly how to treat his customers. Very knowledgeable staff and great work. Happy as always with the service.Update: after a month, the new suspension is nice and sturdy. The Jeep is handling bumps and potholes like a champ. No more rough ride or alignment issues. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE, I brought my car here because I could not get it to start or jump the car. While they did work on the car and contact me in a timely fashion, they misdiagnosed the problem as the battery needing replacement, after overcharging me by $130 for the battery, they refused to allow me to return the battery and buy it myself, only to be followed up the next day by my car not starting once again, I will not return to this location, and would strongly recommend that you not as well, the only thing they know less about than car repair is business ethics
I just want to thank Thomas for his great customer service. We were having a bad day, everything with our vehicle wasnt working out. He helped out so much and got us the best deal he could. Were definitely lifetime customers now. If anyone wants great customer service and a great job done on your vehicle come see Thomas and the rest of the team at this Midas!

Staff is very friendly. We usually drop our car off on a Saturday and they always call us when it is done. Usually in a timely manner. They always get our approval before fixing anything. Been taking our 3 cars there for the past 2 years. Never had a problem.
I stopped by to see if they would fill up my two tires with air since I didnt have any coins for the gas stations. I was willing to pay for the services but they were quick to dismiss that idea. They not only filled up my tires, they filled up my washer fluid, and topped off my oil not expecting anything. Given this excellent service, I decided to buy a full set of new tires with them. They fit me in same day to service the tires and drove me to work. Great service.
Great location! Reliable work with a smile. I have been a customer here for about a year, for routine oil changes and minor maintenance and most recently for new brakes. I can say the customer service has gotten even better lately, and they do very good work here. Thomas was especially helpful on my visit today. He had a great attitude and was very accommodating to all the customers in on a busy Saturday morning!

I love the staff at this location! I have had them do a lot of work on my truck. I have had a few faulty parts (no fault of the shop) and Ian and the guys have taken my car back and they fixed the issues same day no questions asked. I would highly recommend this shop.

Since the change in management, I have had very good service on my three vehicles. The new management is very honest and will not take advantage of you. Also, the gold card program is very good for oil changes. Much cheaper than paying for separate oil changes. I would highly recommend this shop.

I own a 1985 380sl. It was my fathers car, and he passed away so I’ve been hesitant to bring it just anywhere for repairs. Mark visits my job quite frequently and for 2 months has been telling me to bring it in. I finally decided to bring it in... I was pretty nervous about it at first because of Midas being a franchise. The lead mechanic, I think his name is Guy, and Mark... I mean dude... the best, most knowledgeable people you can find period. No fear in those guys. They were so extremely confident that it made me feel safe. I thought my window motor was shot, they tell me “nope it’s just the switch”. Absolutely honest, absolutely fair, Mark did everything he could to keep my price low. I would gladly take any classic car I come across in the future to these guys. Custom built exhaust, they happily did everything I needed and so much more. I don’t ever write reviews and I didn’t feel like being corny, but I love this place. Only place I’d go too, only place I’d ever recommend. Corporate should know how amazing of a team they have. These guys aren’t just guys that can be replaced. These guys are the Face of Midas and they take their job very seriously. Everyone there should get a raise and solid job security. Midas is legitimately lucky to have these guys employed. Kudos to the owner for picking such a great team. They have my business and anyone I hear that needs repairs.
UPDATE: (scroll down for the beginning) We brought our van back to the same guys to give them a chance to make us right. It turned out our a/c needs more work than would be worth it to get it fixed. Unfortunately, they didnt bother to look for the leak the first time I brought it in. Knowing we were on a road trip, they just filled it with refrigerant and sent us on our way expecting us to be long gone before it leaked out. So we were charged over $200 for work that was totally pointless. I really got the feeling that they didnt mention how bad it was so that they could charge us for the re-charge, as opposed to just getting the cost of a diagnosis out of us.On top of the fact that we paid $200 for no reason, when we went to pick up our vehicle, our drivers door latch was broken. That was a lovely surprise that the guys at the shop werent even willing to address. Granted, it probably just broke from normal wear and tear, but we sure left the shop feeling cheated, exploited and extremely unhappy. We have $200 less than we started with, our a/c is still as broken as it was when we first came in, and now our drivers door wont open. Awesome work guys. Fantastic customer service.HOW IT ALL STARTED...Rick was a friendly guy at the desk who was extremely accommodating and a pleasant conversation. Our A/C had a leak to the point where refrigerant would only last 2 days before leaking out. We are on a road trip and were hoping to get it fixed before heading back out to the desert for a few more weeks. To our surprise, the guys were able to get on it right away when we brought it in. We were charged $200 and they said they replaced a few things, charged it up and we went on our merry way.... until 2 days later when our A/C was blowing hot air again... so we paid $200+ and our A/C is still exactly as broken as it was when we brought it in.It gets better, when I called about getting the system checked out again the guy I talked to (Greg I think) was not a very friendly guy. When I explained the situation he literally said to me what do you want me to do about it?. All I want, Greg, is for the working air conditioning that you already charged me for.Now, after changing the plans of our road trip so that we can be back in the Denver area, we are bringing our van back to the same guys, hoping they will do the right thing. I will update/delete this review if we leave the shop with cold air. Wish us luck!
Midas is seriously the best....from their customer service to their job on repairs, they really over exceed my expectations! I have taken my car there for anything from oil changes to big repairs, and will never let anyone else touch my car. Rich Hoke is who I usually talk to, and is always super polite. He will always make sure you leave happy!
I went in without an appointment and got seen right away. The staff was extremely helpful and took the time to explain to me what was going on with my car, how they were going to fix it, and how to proceed in the future if the issue occurred again. I havent been treated that well at a car shop in a while!

Worst service i have ever experienced... Picked up my car after having $837 worth of new tires installed. My new tires only had 12 psi. 2 days later found out my lug nuts were so loose my tires wobbled. When i made then aware of all of this the only thing they could say was sorry. Then today i found a nail in my tire. Took it too them to get repaired and was instructed it would be better for me to take it to Discount Tire because it would cost $25 plus tax for them to repair it and the 2 techs they had art the shop could not do tires. I will NEVER go to Midas again for ANY service. Rude people...Terrible service. DISCOUNT TIRE AND JIFFY LUBE WILL GET MY MONEY!!!

Be very aware, dropped my car off for a oil repair, called me up to tell me I needed new brakes and rear differential oil change, that it would be no big deal and they could get it done by the end of the day, conveniently for got to mention the $1400 price tag! Never again and be very aware
I went in to have my brakes done and to see why my check engine light was on. I ended up having a much heftier bill than I had anticipated,( they found my shocks were all leaking, etc.), but was happy to have all my safety concerns addressed and fixed.They stayed after hours to get the job done.Staff were very nice and knowledgeable, even gave me a ride home and back to the shop.I was encouraged to apply for the Midas card, there is no interest for 6 months and that made it appealing.
Way over priced i called to check the price ona tune up and they quoted 430 dollars just to change the plugs and wires. I could do that myself for less than 100.
Absolutely amazing. This team is the Definition of professional service. I have been taking my vehicles here for two years and with every service they find another way to impress me. Just today they turned my vehicle around in under an hour when they were slammed. And being knowledgeable about cars (just super lazy) I can attest that their work is top notch. Rick the manager was so kind I had totaled my old car and bought a pt back in February and it was driving really bad even turning off randomly after my oil change he told me some of the problems I needed to fix so I came back to start the work on it and Ian took apart my engine and figured out what was going on. Not only did he find and fix the problem but Rick was very understanding of me having 3 kids and a tight budget. Theyre amazing I will always be grateful to them
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY!I brought my vehicle in for a repair and was wrongly charged $55 dollars when they did not fix the vehicles problem after stating they fixed it. I latter called and asked if they could refund the $55 or fix my vehicles issue, applying the $55 as credit but they said that it would cost more money to fix. They never wanted to make this right or anything! Also, I brought the vehicle in for three different repairs that they said they could fix but instead called and said the vehicle was fixed (only changing my oil) without saying they couldnt fix the two other things I came to get repaired. Management needs to really watch who they are hiring for the front desk!!!!!!
I recently moved to this side of town and wanted to find a trustworthy mechanic near by, so I stopped into Midas to see what my gut told me. I was welcomed right in and treated with respect. They have gone above and beyond in helping me with my repair needs and basic upkeep of my vehicle.Now with 4 new tires and some basic maintenance, my trailblazer is ready for winter. I am a happy customer and have a piece of mind knowing Rich and his team are right around the corner if I need them, THANK YOU!!

Midas has been servicing our company vehicle since 2001. We take the car to Midas for oil changes and factory recommended routine services. I started going to Midas for a second opinion on a costly repair. I have been going to them ever since and many of the same mechanics still work there. I like that level of experience and the trust that has developed over the years.

Wonderful classic mechanic scam artists. Went in because I received a coupon in the mail $25 for a vehicle inspection tire rotation and included a free oil change. The oil change was performed. Tires were never rotated. Attempted to charge me $70 to change a headlight bulb. Also stated I needed a new air filter. Today I went to switch out the air filter because they suggested it. My air filter is still white and clean from the last oil change I did. Classic say you need this and that to boost revenue. Will not be returning. Consumers heres your warning.
I cannot thank the store manager, Rick Bauer, enough for his courtesy and generosity. I blew a tire on my way to work and went in hoping for a quick change to some spares I had in my trunk from a change to snow tires before winter. Understandably, he was booked solid and was unable to do anything immediately, but advised he would make sure he worked out the schedule to get it done by the end of the day, even though the day was already completely booked. I could not take him up on this generous offer, and instead asked if I could use the parking lot to make the change to my donut instead, which he allowed. He then proceeded to take time out of his busy day to assist me with the change. Not only assist though, he basically did it for me, free of charge. I just handed him anything I could to help. I am sure anyone can attest to the fact that a tire change is not a quick process with a standard tire iron and trunk jack but, with Ricks help, a quality jack, and powered socket, he had the tire changed out for me in less than 10 minutes, making me less than 30 minutes late for work, instead of at least an hour. He then let me know of some of the great deals that they currently have on tires, which I was not aware Midas sold and will be going back for on payday. This was all completely unexpected, and very much appreciated, as I am not aware of any shops, let alone shop managers, that would have gone out of their way to assist like Rick did. Midas Lakewood will be my go to for any future work needed, thanks to Rick. His card hangs firmly on the refrigerator.
Rick and Rich are great guys, store has great service and they even stayed open late to make sure they finished my truck for me. Would recommend this location to anyone! Thanks again guys.
Absolutely horrible service. It took them two diagnoses to find the cause of the squeaking on our vehicle. After replacing the front brakes and rotors, the issue still existed. It was impossible to get an appointment with them for months claiming it just needed time to wear in. Finally they diagnosed the vehicle again after it got even worse and they now say the rear brake pads and rotors need replacing. Instead of taking fault and giving us a fair price, they are claiming another team did the diagnoses and repairs and are trying to charge us over $650 for the new repairs (2x the recommended repair cost). Avoid this place at all costs.
Was on vacation from Oklahoma when my cars radiator cracked coming down the mountains. Was lucky to find a new radiator and brought it to Midas to install. They were great priced and had us back on the road in an hour. Thank you Midas!!!
