Been coming here for 20 years and 4-5 vehicles. Just had brakes done and Mike really helped me spend just what was essential to keep it on the road and safe. Had an issue with my debit card and had to call the bank. He knocked the price down a little to help me out with my bank. That’s really going above and beyond!

No surprises, just got what I wanted quickly at a reasonable price and they did not waste my time trying to up-sell me a bunch of stuff I dont need.

Was on my way dropping kid off to school and another driver informed me I had a flat rear tire. Went straight to Allens and they were very busy with customers and phone ringing off the hook. 25 minutes later I was handed my keys and they stated all fixed, simple patch job and no charge. OMG I am so shocked and happy Im so use to being taken advantage of being a female and car repairs. Thank you thank you Allen Tire Company. You are the best!!

I previously had good luck with Allen tire. Today was different. Had a tire on my car with a plug in it (previous nail) that would slowly leak requiring air to be added ~once per week. Just a couple pounds. It would leak from 41lbs to about 37 once a week or so.Went in to have it patched. After waiting 40 minutes which is not a problem the tire was still fine as normal (holding air). They pulled off the tire and went to patch it. After 20 (ish) minutes they called me over to show me a hole they “noticed” on the side wall. It was leaking enough to feel in with a finger. Well, needless to say they damaged the tire while either taking it off the rim or putting it back on but claimed they found it that way. After leaving and I live 1 mile away the tire deflated from 42lbs to 18lbs and was visibly flat!I did not argue as it would have been a mode point as the guy even had the nerve to say, maybe someone used a knife. If that was the case it would have been flat when I brought it in or waited 40 minutes. It only took 5 minutes to go flat after their “discovery”. Their dishonestly cost a customer and I will not refer anyone to this business again. Integrity is important.

Best in the business. Had low pressure in tire that was caused by 2 nails. Tire was repaired and all tires inflated to specs at no charge. Car is not driven a lot so was surprised by the problem. Great job!

I have to say it was a very disappointing experience right from the beginning. I called on a Saturday to get a quote on 2 front tires. I gave the associate my make, model and year of my Corvette, along with the manufacturer, model and size of the tires I wanted. He gave me the quote and said to come in on Monday to order since they don’t stock that tire. I arrived early Monday morning, told the gentleman the quote I received and he tells me there are 2 models of this tire, something I was not told on my phone call. Of course, the ones I need are significantly more money. Oh well, I agree to the price and told I must prepay for the tires as well as the alignment which I asked for. I prepay and return the following day for installment only to be told they can’t do an alignment on the Corvette, it’s too low. Again, not told on the previous day. The tires are put on (90 minutes) and it’s time to settle the bill. The gentleman did not know how to refund the alignment and asked 2 of his coworkers to help. No one knew how to do it so their solution was to have me pay AGAIN for the tires and they would void the initial transaction. I reluctantly agreed; it’s 2 weeks later and the problem has not been resolved. I understand mistakes happen, however, their nonchalant additude in dealing with this issue is completely unacceptable. I would never recommend this shop for multiple reasons; this was my experience, please consider it when making your choice for tires. Thanks for your time.

Nice people and good prices and good warranty

Came in because I thought I had a nail or screw in one of my tires. They remove the tire and thoroughly inspected it and determine there was no penetration. They double-checked and tighten the valve stem after which he went around and check all of my tires including the air pressure very thorough always very helpful at Allen Tire Company

Allen Tire, our go to place for tires and brakes. Always a busy place but they churn the jobs out. That being said I have seen people come in with a tire issue and it appears to me that they have someone ready to pounce on those issues.

Everyone is nice and honest. They give you a fair price and the are consistent. I go there every time I need tires and my family need tires. If you want your air pressure checked, no problem.

Brought my brand new palisade in because the dealer said a nail was too close to the sidewall to repair and wanted to charge me $350 for a new tire.,.. these guys inspected it said it was absolutely repairable did the service and didnt charge me a dime. Top-notch customer service I will be back!

They seem to always have what you need. Maybe not always what you want but about 99% of the time they do and theyre always at a fair price I guess thats why theres so many of them and theyre always so busy. Ive been going there for over 20 years keep it up guys.

Alin Tires is the best! Went in to put air in one tire and they checked and took care of all 4 tires. Employees there are so helpful and go out of their way to take care of you.

If I could put ZERO stars I would. Took my truck in to have new tires put on. Came out with my truck pulling to the left and a dent in my front bumper. Called the manager to let them know what happened, said they dont deal with the bumper issue that I would have to call the corporate office. I did take it back in for them to fix the alignment that was pulling to the left. When they gave it back to me, it was then pulling to the right. They then proceeded to tell me that it couldnt be adjusted anymore and they couldnt do anything else about it. Mind you, that my truck did not come in for an alignment issue!! As I waited, I also witnessed one of the mechanics breaking a lug and going into the office saying how can we fix this. Better check all your lugs/nuts before you leave and make sure they didnt get broken!Corporate office, just as bad. The man who answered the phone had an attitude and loudly stated that they dont jack cars up from the front (but when I was sitting there waiting, they had several they jacked from under the front). He also proceeded to say that there is no way that my bumper could have been damaged from them. He also stated that they are a Christian run ship and they wouldnt do that. I am a Christian myself, and I can tell you, nothing Christian like on how this business is handling what has happened.This is the first and LAST time I will ever go here, and I would advise if you dont want to leave with more damage than you come in with, to stay away.I will be taking this as far up the chain as I can go until this is dealt with properly.

Had a alignment done, its first come first served here so I arrived 45 min. before their opening time (8am) so I could accomplish as many errands as possible. Glad I arrived early, within 10 min there were 8 others waiting behind me. Was helped by Jose A. he said to come back in a hour so I wondered around the shopping center and came back but my car wasnt ready yet about 30 min later it was finished🙂👍

This is a first class place. Every single employee that walked by me said good morning. There was a mix up with the exact tire I wanted on my motorhome. They installed more expensive tires by mistake. They ended up charging me less than I was going to pay for the cheaper tires.

Ive been buying tires from Allen Tire for years and am always satisfied. They are honest....they dont try to sell me tires before I actually need them. Their prices are competitive and they are fast, usually serving me as soon as I walk through the door. It doesnt hurt that their waiting room is air conditioned, their bathroom is clean, and their candy bowl is always overflowing with mini tootsie rolls. Best of all, they treat me like family.

Where do I begin? Ive been coming here for about 8 years and have dealt with Jose, one of the service advisors. Jose provides the best customer service I have experienced anywhere; he is friendly, tactful, and really knows tires! As a car enthusiast, I know how hard it is to entrust someone with your car. You can trust Jose and the rest of the squad at Allen Tire Lakewood. I would recommend them to anyone! Go see Jose, he will take care of you like family.Just remember, you should never expect them to know absolutely every detail about your car model/make. It is your responsibility to communicate anything you know thats particular about your car. Or if you have a special request, need certain specs for your alignment, etc, you need to communicate that.

Replaced a tire that had blown out. A month later we noticed that the tire was the wrong size. The manager (Mike) replaced it with the proper size at no charge. Best service ever

I work nearby and wondered why this shop is ways so busy. Now I know that they have great service and a great group of people work at this location.

The valve stem on my Excursion tire started leaking and needed to be replaced. Allen Tire got me in and out in under an hour. I highly recommend this place for your tire needs and more. I will probably go back there for their alignment package, $199 for 5 years.

Free to patch a tire? This place is great in and out super fast and it was free I was expecting to pay like 30 bucks to fix a flat. Good customer service.

The owner ordered the tires that I wanted. They were there by afternoon. Paid a bit more but it was worth it. Just be watchful of the mechanics as they dont screw on the tire caps. I noticed that they were all old looking but they move fast

Very friendly crew willing to go the extra mile. First time, here, brought my Chevy Bolt in with a slow leak in one tire from a nail puncture. Apparently it has special tires with an internal gel/coating/adhesive, it was much harder to repair - but the team took the extra time (~1hr) and fixed it - and did it all for free. Will definitely come back to them for my tire needs in the future.

I love the Lakewood, CA store location! I highly recommend Allen Tire Company because they are honest and so so helpful. I have bought tires, brakes and go for oil changes as needed. Very reasonably priced - but I come back because of their fantastic sense of community and welcoming attitude. It has a small town feel, even though it is a very successful large company.

My daughters friend told her about this place and said they are the BEST!My daughter did not buy her tires from them. She had a flat and brought it in to them. We were greeted as we were coming in with a smile and hello. Right away they waited on us.They said leave it and come back in a hour and we did. It was ready and the most awesome part of the whole deal they did NOT CHARGE her to plug it.For a lady I was very impressed. Bathrooms are very clean.With AWESOME service like this can you imagine what it would be like if you bought the tires from them..

Just had 4 tires replaced on my 2015 Subaru Legacy and couldnt be happier. Mike was the customer service representative that made sure my vehicle was well taken care of. Well when I was there I got great service it was faster than orally they do a great job they know their stuff no correction needed great prices ice yes very good 9.8 I recommend as well if you cant get in that line to go to Big O Tire those are the only two places I go to for tires in this area and I mean the whole state of California

Fair, honest and skilled.

I dont mind waiting but, when I arrange for rides to and from and are told an hour and a half +/-... Thats what I expect NOT 3 hrs. Not to mention either sit and wait or arrange for another to and from ride. If its 3 hrs then say 3 hrs. I heard 3 people in front of and after me told hour and a half. Be honest, this shop is typically known for being straight forward and honest.

Took my truck in for a brake job today. I was informed there was nothing wrong with the brakes or rotors other than a slight glazing on the rotors. They cleaned it up and adjusted for me. When I picked up the truck I was shocked at the price they charged. It was $0.00, thats right, no charge for their time and expertise! They have a customer for life now.

Shocked!!! I had a nail in my tire this morning. I drove in and within 2 mins they had my keys. I came back to check it out and the handed me my keys and said have a nice day. What?! I thought. They fixed my tire and didnt charge me a penny. Guess I just found my new tire place. If they treat you that good and didnt make a dime I cant imagine the service theyll provide when were do change our tires.

Been going to Allen for years with our cars, my daughters cars and have recommended countless friends and family. Have always gotten A1 service. They never do anything that isnt necessary and I appreciate that! And Now they do Oil Changes, nothing better than going to Allen!!

I always receive great service at Allen! Most recently I took my car here after the Ford dealer told me my tire could not be repaired and I needed to buy a new tire from them. These guys saved my week! I rolled in with my spare on just before 5 pm. I felt awful about coming in towards the end of the day knowing they probably had a lot going on, but it was the earliest I could manage to get there. Fortunately for me, somone took my keys right as I walked through the door and they got to work repairing my tire. They had me out on my way in under 30 minutes. I got to see first hand how hard these guys work to take care of their customers. Highly recommend for any tire needs. Ill be back for mine in the future!

As a past customer, I usually look to Allen Tire Company in Lakewood whenever I need tires. Allen Tire has been known as a great company and has a long standing in Lakewood for giving excellent service. They go a long way to resolve problems with regular customers and even take care of some simple tasks for others who come by and need assistance at no charge. While I was there on Monday in the waiting room, Mike the Manager sent several customers on their way without charging them a dime... Believe me, that is unusual in this day and age. I ordered 4 tires for my Ford Edge and were installed in a reasonable amount of time while I waited considering I didnt have an appointment.... Great Job and Thank You Mike...... Will I be back? You bet your life I will....!

The brand new struts where making noise and they replaced without any cost for me. It should be a 5 star except for the trouble shooting that took too much of my time, requiring 4 visits. The suspension is like new again. I always change my tires there, and they fix flats for free for life. Thanks.

Giving this lower rating for one employee in particular. Usually reliable service here, although this time I was helped by Mark, who was condescending not only to me but to other customers in-person and over the phone any time he spoke to customers as well. Has a bad/demeaning attitude toward female customers in general in person.Came in for simple tire rotation. Mark told me he would call the phone number attached to my car in the system when my tires had been rotated (“an hour wait”). Came back half hour early to wait for my car. An hour and a half later and still no call, no mention to me that my car is ready, despite having seen my car go into and out of service garage already and be parked in a parking space for ten minutes now. Yet when i asked Mark what the wait time was like on my car: “they’re working on it right now”. Um, no, I can see it in the parking lot, as it has ALREADY been taken care of.Being forced to wait extra time on a service that is already completed is not appreciated, nor is being answered with bad attitude when I politely mention I have other things to do today, as waiting over an ADDITIONAL hour is not something I had planned to do—I was told an hour and have now been waiting two.Bad customer service today; making a complaint against Mark, not Allen Tire as a whole, as this place is usually helpful and friendly.

What I appreciated most was not feeling pressured into buying more expensive tires, or services which I did not come in for. I made an appointment for specific tires and they put them on and did not ask if I want new rims or an oil change or anything else. Fantastic job!
