They were very willing to get the glass that other glass shops told me was no longer available p the glass itself installation is great on the finer sight they did not bother to clean the glass their fingerprints and suction-cup marks on it as well as my third brake light worked when I went in and they had to take it out of the way and now it does not work I would give him three out of five stars the finer things that make a person want to come back that you notice in the back of your brain the clean glass the fact that they didnt bother to fix the light they broke and now Im going to have to deal with it a little things but none-the-less irritants

This place is an absolute joke and waste of time. I will never go back to them again . After being told my repair would take no more then an hour. I was there for 2.5 hours with 0 updates from the staff as to why. Then upon leaving I received absolutely o explication or apology. I hope no one ever goes back here it is a waste of your life and not worth the work they do. I could see in back while I was waiting to a garage full of KIDS standing around doing nothing while I was looking at my car still untouched and he into my visit

Had windows measured and made to order. Once the windows came in, I was notified and was able to schedule the installation for the next day.Installers were here on time, any questions I had were answered to my satisfaction, everything was cleaned up as they worked. Since my windows were the original, it was a little more difficult to get them out and the house had settled so the square was off. The new windows look fabulous and work well. Very happy with them.Also had e-window panes in our kitchen replaced, the gas in the old window had leaked out and it started to streak. The new window was made, fits perfectly and it looks terrific.Very happy with the whole process and the work, will use this company again.

They gave a fair price for some replacement windows and didnt try to play any games or upsell. Great communication all around. The installers (Joey and Armando I think, sorry if I got your names wrong!) were fast, professional, and very nice. They did a great job. Scott was great to work with for the consult and coordination. Great experience all around.

I came in for a replacement window (not to be installed) they had misplaced the window but reassured me they would have one by morning. I came in the next day and got it with no issue. staff was friendly and welcoming.

May deposit for a custom window to be installed then three months later they install the window then after the installation we call make the next payment they say we are good then four months later they decided to take a $300 charge to my card because they say the first payment did not go through then they say they are too busy and said we gave them authorization to charge our card whenever they want very unprofessional do not recommend will never use them again

Adam was the service technician that came to my house to repair my sliding glass doors. I found him to be most professional and knowledgeable. I was very impressed with his attention to detail and also his patience with a stubborn sliding glass door that didnt want to cooperate. I really don’t wanna give this place a bad review. I’ve taken in at least 5 cars for window tinting and cracks in windshield and all that and I’ve recommended this place to people as well.…but this last experience makes me never want to go back. We had a crack in our windshield so we schedule to have it replaced. We get there, drop off the car. Figure it’s done. Cool. We go to pick it up and “oh there was a problem with the size of the glass so we have to have you come back at a later date and replace it again”. I understand. Things happen. I’m not annoyed at all at this point because the guy we dealt with was nice about it.Fast forward to 3 weeks later when we come back to get it replaced again and they don’t even have our appointment in the schedule. So we drive out there alllll the way from Puyallup and they tell us they don’t even have the replacement glass (really? After 3 weeks?) and that not only that, there’s a part missing from our Honda sensing module they’ll have to re order. They schedule us in the next day to come back. AgainSo we make the 30 minute drive back down here again and they replace the windshield but then still don’t have a specific plastic part for our Honda sensing. What? Why? So we have to come back. Again. They say it’ll come in in a couple days and they’ll give us a call. They never give us a call. We call them back next week and ask if the part is in and they say yes. So I guess it was there and they just didn’t think it was important to call?So we come back. AGAIN so they could put the plastic piece on.And all this inconveniencing us they don’t seem to care about because they keep doing it over and over again. Nothing to make it better. No credit. No discount. I don’t usually ask for or expect though but it would’ve been nice.Just disappointed.

Kitchen cabinet etched glass came as ordered, but had to make two trips to retrieve three pieces because two were buried or something and no one was available to move things when we arrived for pickup. Would have appreciated an offer of complimentary delivery of the glass to our home for the inconvenience, or discount.7/6/21 update. Changed from 3 to 5 stars. We had one of the pieces of glass not quite fit into our door, so when I asked if they could recut the glass they were happy to do so. When we arrived to retrieve our door and glass, it was very well packaged and they even installed the glass pane for us. Very much appreciated.

Very good example how to be successful in business for a long period of time.I had a problem with windshield on my Mercedes. Called to dealer they referred me to them!! Dealer have some one who does it better! Called to this company, and worked with Kera. She was extremely professional and provided exceptional customer service. Very recommend.

I have used South Tacoma Glass for years. Aaron has always been my go to and suggestion to others for window tinting. My most recent visit was to get a fogged window replaced for our house. The price was reasonable and the service was quick and friendly.

The only reason why I went is because insurance paid for it. My insurance agent recommended them.The work was done ok, but did a lousy job at cleaning all the glass and from my observation there was no communication between office staff and the real employees that do the work. The office staff seemed clueless. If I have any further work done with glass that I have to pay for I will NOT be going to south Tacoma glass.

Although I waited a month for them to finally install my window, I did receive such wonderful service from the men who measured my window and when they repaired it. I wish I would’ve gotten their names but there was two Hispanic men who came to fix my window today and they were the sweetest people I ever met. I had a sectional blocking the broken window, well they vacuumed my carpet, took apart the sectional safely and with care and then put it back together after they were done! It was like no one was even there! These men were so kind. Truly appreciated!!

It was great I was here to replace a rear window. I should have asked for a time estimate because I came and dropped the truck off. But they were pretty timely, respectful and also accommodating to covid-19 guidelines. Very affordable glass work. I have 2 trucks I will be bringing back here.

Good service, front windshield was put in with excellent work. Only thing that I did not care for was the male employees putting other employees down, and what was said about a custimer. There is a place and time fir that but not on in the building where customers can hear everthung that is saud. One does not have to like every co-worker or/and customer but employees should have more common sense and know better as adults. Have some respect for others guys.

My rearview mirror fell off. They replaced my windshield some years ago so they reglued the mirror as a free courtesy. How nice is that?🤗. Super busy but it was done quickly with a smile. Everybody seems to love working here!

Stopped in here as I drove by because I thought I had a ding in my windshield. Person behind the counter walked out to look at windshield, walked back inside and came out with a scraping tool, and removed what was actually strange road debris. He smiled and said, no charge for the cleaning :-). Next time I have an actual ding, would definitely go back to this place.

This is ironic: these clowns quoted a glass replacement in a vinyl window for me. $400+I later ordered the piece of glass from them for less than $100.It’s cheaper to hire a union glazer out of the local hall than have these guys do the same job! NUTS!

I didnt like the people who work there this is the second time Ive been there and they didnt do anything both times, pisses me off!

Have used S. Tacoma Glass for home and commercial work on 4 occasions over the last 3 years and they came through every time. Their quotes were accurate, the customer service and communication was excellent, and their glass work has been perfect. Nichole deserves 5 stars of her own for helping us get the impossible done on a rush job, highly recommend and will be back to them for any of their services in the future.

Just had my window shot out this morning driving on 512 when I was heading to work. I have called them to step up a appointment to get it fix and taking care in the morning. I mean they could have fixed it and charged me for it ..i felt dumb but if I need future repair I will go back

Your crew spent the last week installing new windows in my whole house. They are so respectful, such as closing the door to the room they were working in as not to be too invasive with tool sounds. Their work is too notch and seamless. The windows are just beautiful and all of the work perfectly on open/shut testing. One thing I also deeply appreciated about this crew was that they took great time to sweep and clean up all residue on the floors. What a awesome team you have. I’d like to start of by mentioning that the customer service was terrible, each time I called it was terrible it seemed like they didn’t even know what they were doing id ask questions and they lacked professionalism. They told me they would install the windows in 2 weeks and less but they took a month and they didn’t even tell me that they wouldn’t be able to complete it in the two week mark, every time I would have to call to be aware of what was happening they kept telling me they would call to keep me informed but never did. I suggest you not to come here if you need the work done ASAP

Wonderfully nice people with quick service. Had my car broken into, so I wasnt in the best mood when I set the appointment. They were easy to find and super helpful! Ill recommend and go back anytime I need work done on my vehicle!

I attempted to email them regarding their windowing tinting and never received a response. I called to gather information from them on tinting windows for my vehicle. The entire time the receptionist was talking to a coworker about another customer. How the other customer didn’t want that service and just glass cut, but then they were not happy with the service. I tried to interject with my questions and just ended up hanging up because she was not helpful or even paying attention on the phone. It was the worst service I have received. I was planning on taking all three of my vehicles. But now I will find another shop.

Use South Tacoma Glass to install your windows. My general contractor recommended them.They are amazing, super professional, tidy and clean and amazing! They took several hours to install 5 windows and a sliding glass door. Everything done to perfection. They put cloth on the floor to not track in dirt and cleaned up after themselves, it was if they were not here. Joey was the foreman and the rest of the crew is great and so if the office staff, Guy, Dave, Tesla and Lisa! You cannot go wrong by hiring South Tacoma Glass for window installation.

My house had a window that had become cracked somehow and it needed to be replaced. Since we live in an older home and all of our other projects were 10x harder than they needed to be and more expensive than we planned Nicole surprised us with the service we received. We were anticipating having to replace the entire window and frame. Instead she had one of the guys come out and check out the window. They did not need to replace the entire window. Instead they did the panes of glass that were affected. Their team was honest, punctual and efficient. It was such a great experience working with them. If the need comes up again I will not hesitate to call them again.

The factory tint on my back window melted in the California heat preventing me from being able to see out of it. Tacoma Glass was able to remove the molten mess without damaging the rear defrost and replaced the tint with something 10x nicer than before. Im super happy with my decision to go through them for this repair!

South Tacoma Glass has fixed my car windshield and a few windows at my home. I needed a window fixed a bit faster then the open schedule that was available. I was fit into an immediate opening. The poor Gentalman replacing the glass did so in the pouring rain!Every time Ive called South Tacoma Glass office staff has been friendly, and helpful. There Techs have been friendly and informative. I always feel comfortable when technicians need to enter the home.There show room is beautiful as well!!When I have called other local glass shops there price quote is usually much higher and the wait time for the final repair is extremely long.Having a service done for you isnt just about the total end cost. Yet also the people behind the service. I will always go to South Tacoma Glass for Auto or Home glass repairs.

Perhaps their glass products and installation are terrific. I, unfortunately, wont have an opportunity to know. I reached out through their website for a quote on a replacement glass shower wall. I was happy to receive a prompt reply with questions, to which I responded with photos. Sadly, thats where the customer service ended. I followed up a week later asking the status of the quote. I received a reply that the person was waiting on pricing from the vendor which she should have in an hour. After another week with no reply, I reached out again, but no reply. I think Ive worked hard enough to be a customer. It shouldnt be like this.

Don’t go anywhere else at least to tint windows. I have taken all my vehicles to South Tacoma glass specialist. I bought a new BMW and it was less than $250 to tint all my windows. The work is the best...and they open at 0630 if needed. That was even better!! Guess what, they were there and ready to take my car at 0630!!! And the guy was pleasant...Gotta love it!

We have used South Tacoma Glass for a number of projects over the years. We have always received great products and service. However, up until now, I had not personally worked with South Tacoma Glass. Today, I had the opportunity to and I wanted to write a review on my experience.I had a couple glass shops before I called South Tacoma Glass. I spoke with Victoria first thing today. I was so impressed by her positive, upbeat customer service and her knowledge about windows. She explained what I needed to do in the short term to protect my property, myself and my guests from a safety standpoint while the window was being ordered. Justin, their estimator arrived at my house a short time later. After looking at the window, he said the window was a standard french door window so the turnaround time from order to installation would be 2 weeks or less which was comforting. He then explained what I needed to do to remove the safety glass. It will be messy but will give me peace of mind to remove it since I am having guests over this weekend. I feel calm and relief knowing I am in good hands and it wont take 3-4 weeks as another glass company told me. Thank you!

Service and quality is mind blowing good🤯!I had a rock chip and they said come on in now. No appointment needed for rock chip repair! That is still outstanding, normally I have to wait so long to get a rock chip replaced at a different company that the chips spreads and then I have to replace the windshield.I also just got a bid to replace my windows at my house and they were very competitive. It was the quality of the product and their installers that sold me.I highly recommend South Tacoma Glass!

My first time with an amazing experience! Ive been looking for somewhere to do a simple quare glass, so my friend recommened this place. At first, I feel so welcome by friendly staffs. They helped me with the measurement which was perfect for what I wanted. I received the glass just a day after, but I came pick it up late. I called them if I could come after their close hour few minutes, and theyre willing to wait for me. Thank you for your understandable! I definitely gonna come back!

We had our new cars windows tinted. Shortly after, someone broke one of the back windows trying to break in.We took it back and had these guys replace it and re tint the new window. They were very professional, super fast, and i will be coming back to get all my glass needs here. Im needing a windshield for my truck now and theres no question on where to go. I had bought the glass and they didnt even do all 4 corners. When I came again they fixed it but the other 3 corners didnt even match the angle of my table. Literally wasted my money!! Even though I came back and asked if they can do the other 3 corners and they started to yell at me and told me to get out of his store and that he didn`t want to waste his pocket money!! I am so disappointed never coming back there ever again!! I don`t recommend tacoma glass to anyone!!

Came in thinking I had rock chip, mind you it’s a brand new car and it was raining that day. I bring it in and it was just dirt. They cleaned it up AND took the difficult to reach sign from the dealership out. Great service, recommend 100%.

Needed to have a quarter-glass window put in my Honda Accord. Don at the front desk (manager) is very helpful, friendly, and eager for your business. They were willing to put it in the very same day that I purchased a part. It only took just a little over an hour to have it installed. Best service in town. They did a great job replacing my windshield and made sure it was safe to drive before I left their shop. It shows they really care about their customers. I also had my windows tinted and they look great! I couldnt be happier with their service and prices.

I went to this place for a quote on a simple 28-1/2 X 46 mirror. The quote was $172 plus tax, which seemed excessive. I then got a quote for the exact same mirror, same edge finish and everything at Glass Works in Puyallup. Their quote was $76 plus tax. Needless to say, it pays to shop around. Dont believe me? Try this yourself.

I have had all my glass work done at South Tacoma Glass for many years. They replaced all the windows in my house and have replaced several windshields in cars over the years. They installed a sunroof in my fathers truck several years ago and it still is in perfect shape and has never leaked. The staff is friendly and I really like working with family owned businesses. Definitely get all your glass and windows work done here.

They did the tint on my 2014 Hyundai Sonata and Im in love! The young gentleman with the long beard (sorry I didnt catch his name) really knows his stuff. He even gave me a sheet on how to take care of my tint.The staff was very friendly. More importantly my tint job looks amazing and professional. Great work and friendly service. They could have definitely used a vacuum and been a bit more careful though. I had some sort of glue or epoxy on my dashboard and dust and some other sort of plastic crumbs all over my dash. Other than that great service and very great prices. I paid less than half of what my insurance quoated my replacement to be. So 4 stars to you guys keep up the good work.

They did a wonderful job replacing the windows in my home and at a great price too.

This has been nothing but a headache. We took my grandpas truck here to get the seals replaced. $1,000 later, we assumed your company would do a good job. When we went to pick up the truck, there was a bunch of sticky gunk left over on the side of the door. Strike one. We figured we could just clean that off when we got it home.Got it home and realized the seal wasnt put on straight and it would leak if/when it rained. Called you guys and was told to bring it back in. You guys agreed to send someone out to fix it. Strike two.Noticed today (9/23) that two of the doors are missing their frame seals and we were forced to go to the store and buy some seals and fix them ourselves. Strike THREE!Youd think spending $1,000 on just window/door seals, we wouldnt have to worry about a shoddy job. Very disappointed!****Messaged South Tacoma Glass about this major issue with their job on 9/23 and also followed up with them today (10/1) since it has been over a week with absolutely no response. They “saw” the message but still haven’t responded. It is now 10/4 and still no response. Tried to give them a chance to do the right thing. Terrible customer service!

Maybe it was just one person but I called to get an estimate on our shower doors. Nicole was very friendly and got the installer out right away. He was also very friendly and said he would get an estimate back within a few days. This is where it all went south. I waited a week and a half. Nothing, no call, nothing. So I tried calling. Whenever I spoke to Nicole she said she needed to check with the installer and would call me back. Then she wouldnt. Id call again the next day, and the same thing would happen. Or I would get disconnected, and get no return call. Finally I left a message on their voicemail, that if they were not interested to please just let me know and waited a 4-5 days. After my first experience I really wanted to use this company and was, at this point, relying on them for my doors. When I called back again (we are now about 3 weeks after when they said I would get an estimate), I spoke with Nicole. She said she needed to just go get the estimate. I waited for 10 minutes on hold until a man picked up the phone and asked me why I keep calling back, she already told me they didnt want to do the job. This was news to me! I had even asked several times, if that was the case. The man was aggressive as if I was harassing them. When all I really wanted was the estimate.I am certainly conflicted at this point... I might use these folks for other glass but I would definitely recommend you go elsewhere for shower doors.

I am not normally one to write a review good or bad about any place, but i feel the need to warn others about this place. I recently brought my car in for a routine windshield replacement and when I returned to pick it up they had botched the repair. I pointed out their mistake and they promptly asked me to return the following week for a fix. At no time was their an apology for the waste of my time which i consider valuable. I returned waited for them to repair and when asked to pay, i enquired what they might do to repay me for my time.... a discount, a coupon, store credit, an apolgy.... the answer was that i had already purchased my windshield at a discount and they could do nothing more for me. So after paying full price and wasting a few more prescious hours in my life, i walked away unsatisfied.  Wondering when the world changed and businesses stopped caring about the customer, repeat business, and just plain being decent. Consider yourself warned of this companies blatant disregard of you as a human being. Thanks for reading if you did.
