This store has excellent customer service! I went inside to return 2 hood vents and it was the easiest process Ive had at any of their locations. The representative was patient, friendly and inquisitive without being rude. What a refreshing experience this was.The store was clean and organized well, there were very few items out of stock and I was in and out in a very short time, due to the expedience and diligence of the employees on staff. If I had the choice, this would be my regular store for shopping. First class all the way, kudos!

This location seems to be well stocked (at least for the items Im looking for) and the service staff at the registers and behind the other service counters i.e. Rentals, Returns, etc, are always helpful and have great attitudes (for the most part). I do wish they had a wider selection of interior door blanks, but I guess you cant have everything perfect. All in all, a great location that Ill definitely use again even though I have 2 other locations to choose from that are also close to my home.

Im on theyre website and it says 20 of what Im looking for are in stock. I asked the guy stocking shelves and he didnt even think before saying no. Awesome. Thank you for being so helpful. And this is after I was at another Home Depot and their online inventory said 82 in stock.

Terrible service went in there for a key to be made by a person not the Machine.and everyone that I asked for help had a problem with it they all send me to the Machine even though I had told them that I prefer them over the machine. At the end after being told that none of the people that I spoke to knew how to make a key. I then went to customer service in which they told me the same thing. It should not be this difficult for a paying customer to get good service especially for a key. This visit was not what I expected at all very disappointed

The store is well organized and items are easy to find. The staff is helpful and answers questions. I bought a leaf blower and when I opened the box it was missing parts. The staff handled the exchange with no issues.My only complaint about this store is the parking lot is difficult to get in and out of.

We ordered blinds from the the Home Depot. From start to finish a truly great experience. Our contact, Don was great. Talked us through the option we chose and another alternative (which we ended up going with) for a better warranty with 2x the coverage. My wife liked the alternate color better on top of it. He scheduled an installer to come take measurements and confirm a date for the install. We have 2 large windows that we split into 3 shades. The installer spaced them perfectly and made the cellular blinds line up in the best possible scenario, which is near impossible with a fabric blind! I am extremely happy with the whole experience from start to finish!

This is our new Home Depot and I’ve had great experiences with the paint specialists here but horrible experiences trying to check out in general.Extremely long self check out lines with multiple staff standing around machines vs opening a line to move quicker. Recently tried to purchase custom blinds which was easy enough until asked if we wanted to check out at the blinds station or self checkout with other items we had. We went to self check out and paid by card only to be stopped by an employee who said we have an error because we can’t check out blinds at self checkout. She pointed to and said we needed to go to lumbar check out lane #1 on the other end of the store to submit the info we need for the supplier. We said we’re pretty sure we already paid per the receipt and she said it’s not possible and we need to go to the in person register because our items are not paid for. We went to in person lane #1 as instructed which shut down after 5 min and went to the end of register #2 who said our blinds were paid for. even though we paid for everything else too (with the receipt to prove it) they scanned and charged us for items already purchased with the blinds they confirmed were already paid, without reading the receipt we tried to show them. The cashier seemed flustered because the line had grown behind us and after charging again, told us to go to customer service. Not sure why we needed to be charged again if we were staying in the store and had a receipt for the items. But they wouldn’t let us go to customer service without paying (a duplicate $250) first.Both charges hit our card and we finally ended up at customer service who confirmed our first payment went through and voided our duplicate charges. 45 min of Home Depot employee time and our own time that didn’t need to be wasted. Please help support employees more or better staff checkout lines so it’s less hectic and customers can avoid unnecessary confusion or trips to customer service.

I would not recommend an online order at this location. Took about 80 minutes to order 6 items, 25 days to get the items in, another 60 minutes to collect 4/6 items. And then have to wait a week to say they can’t find the other 2 items. The other 2 items are discontinued, but I can get it at a different home depot? Lot’s of room for improvement!

One of the worst Home Depot’s I’ve ever visited in my life. I had to do some work down here and had to visit this location for a few days and the experience was horrendous, the staff are all young and inexperienced I had to find everything myself. they had a snobby attitude, they acted if I was burdening them with my questions. Every single time I visited here through different times of the day the lines were outrageous! The staff were literally avoiding the check out section by walking towards the back of the store on average I had to wait 15 mins in line every time I came here. Not to mention the type of clientele this location attracts the clientele here were very rude. I hope I never have to visit this location again, Home Depot is one of my favorite stores I hope they fix this location.

Not perfect, but who is? Their definitely better the the others with Lower standards.They are the best for letting you buy both sizes and easily returning the unused one.

I was purchasing some PVC pipe and Mark noticed that I had the wrong connector joints. He showed me a better, cheaper alternative as well as helping me find the correct connecting pieces. Knowledgeable, friendly, and an great asset to the Home Depot staff. THANK YOU MARK!!!

Home Depot is always been exceptional over here off of Alameda. A customer service usually you can find them. When you can find them theyre very helpful. Sometimes theyre hard to find though because theres not enough of them right now working. I think with the covid thing. They will walk around the store with me to find each and everything that I want so I dont have to waste time going up and down aisles that I dont need to. I really appreciate that.

Awesome...like home...but a depot ! recommended !

I needed one bag of grass seed but it was blocked off while they were doing forklift work I asked how long it would take and the guy literally told me 1 hour when I could see the bag on the other side of the fence 10 ft away. On a Friday afternoon at 2:40 now Im going to another home Depot hopefully not the same luck, why dont they do this after hours or in the morning.

Wish I could give 1 star. Called and reserved a tool the day before I needed it, called the morning of to confirm it was there and was told it was. Great. Got a call 30 seconds later that it was gone. When I asked why it was gone despite my reservation the associate didnt have anything to say, didnt offer any way to make it right.

Some folks were very helpful, others seemed like they did not want to be there.

This is got to be the top store out of them all. Had huge project to do and not one idea on how to get it done. Staff got ahold of me and not only helped me plan, shop, and showed me how to do it. They went way above & beyond what they should have. Cant say enough about this location.

I went here for a Dewalt battery and charger 1 minute before closing time. The the salesperson was Ian super helpful and went above and beyond and help me out at the very last minute I was very impressed and very grateful

Horrible customer service I bought a pvc pipe fitting that was cracked and wanted to exchange it and s couple of other fittings and the lady wouldnt return the broken fitting .. cause it was guess why ????? Hmm cause It was broken .... well that is why I was exchanging it. So I was a Little put off by this gave an attitude back to her she replied by saying she didnt appreciate my attitude and language ... I replied I dont appreciate buying broken merchandise so mind you I have given the receipt to her already so since I wasnt getting the refund for that fitting I asked her to throw I t away and she got even more uppity and refused saying she wasnt able to that I had to so now Im from NY and I curse all the time ad I whispered under my breath many Nasty thing about what I thought of her it wasnt loud but I was hear a if you were paying attention... I understand what I muttered could have been offensive but thats freedom of speech and if I wasnt provoked it wouldnt have been said so getting back to the review I purchased a defective product was returning with a receipt and because she was having a bad day or whatever her problem was that day regardless I shouldnt have been given an attitude like I stole it the money was returned to my card as she didnt want to let me just go get the exchange items and settle it there ....but ..it had to all be refunded and then I had to get the new fittings and wait in another line and not refund me for a defective product this was the worst Ive been treated ever at home depot that lady is an awful customer service representitive and should not have a job dealing with the public I will make it a point to go out of my way and use Ferguson when Im in the area of that home depot just a horrible experience on 8/3/2021

Horrible. I called and asked if they sold motors for a swamp cooler. They said no. I went to purchase a brand new swamp cooler. Took it home to install and it didnt come with a motor. I then tried to return it 1 hour later with them having attitude nd found out hey did indeed sell the motor. I took this whole day off of work for nothing. Returned the swamp cooler for the item I initially needed. Horrible.customer service.

Great place to find what you need helpful workers too

Ordered online, called to confirm, the sales associate wanted to actually see the product before confirming (unexpectedly through which I really appreciate before I drive 30 minutes), he scanned it so I got the email confirmation but also took the next step to call me back to confirm! Ive never had a more through online to store shopping experience. Fantastic! For the store it was 6/26 around noonish for a evaporator cooler, great phone experience and the lady who brought out the item was just as friendly! Please send them to the Broomfield store to train them, I cant always drive down to Lakewood but I hate having to go into the closest store to me (Broomfield 1st Ave store).

This location does not maintain an open overhead door at the lumber exit.When I asked why I was told it is corporate policy due to theft problems.The location on west Colfax always has an open overhead door, even in the winter. The Alameda location has had this policy in place for several years now. Interesting way to treat good customers, force them to jockey long difficult loads through small doors even when a large door is available.

This is a pretty busy Home Depot, that has 1 cashier and 4/6 self scans available at what look like peak hours. Go at a less congested time if you can, 7-10, 4-6. Really busy

The worst Home Depot I have ever been to. The rental department is using up all the prime parking spots with rental equipment. So all the customers like me with oversized trucks and trailers have to park way out in the lot. Not that I can’t walk. But now I have a full cart of lumber. I have to go get my truck wait in line for the loading zone to open to load my truck. THIS IS THE 1ST AND LAST TIME I WILL EVER SHOP AT THIS HOME DEPOT.

They typically have what you need, however the staff isnt always very friendly. I keep going for the convenience.

Its was a quick visit. Found what I needed and was in and out with no added stress.

Becareful with the employees in this place, they are thieves. My friends and I rented a truck from here, we got our truck everything was good, we dropped the truck off no problem. Then the manager calls us informing us we left something of ours in the truck and they have it and they will take care of it till we get it the next day. Well next day comes and our property is gone. None of the employees were nice, they put up attitude to help us find our property. The manager who called us comes to help us, he cnt find it. Next day he calls n said he found it, but the engraving on the object was completely gone, making the value of the object basically basic...noone still hasnt come forward to destroying our property. Becareful with the employees here. Noone cares if you worked hard for what you get. They will take it if they like it. Ill never go back to this store.

This Home Depot Looks like somebody turned it upside down and shook it every time I’ve been in here. I will drive the extra seven minutes up the street to 14th and Wadsworth to go to the other Home Depot before I go to this one.There are other Home Depot‘s in town that are more busy than this one, that look cleaner and better kept inside.Apparently this place has management problems

Always good experiencs. My only 2x critiques is their self check out needs to start accepting cash at all locations. Its a pain in the *** having only 1 register there you can pay cash at. Finally clerks need to slow down a little or at least ask about if you have a pro number.

Within the first few minutes of seeing the total lack of public safety by several of the associates, merchandisers, and other people either wearing no mask or wearing the mask under their chin (if you look at this paint desk associate) causing me to leave immediately.My mask is for you not me. It was odd. I did pick up. A guy comes out & asks for an id. Then when another guy brings my $2 part, he ids again. It didnt register on the website & the first guy couldnt get his computer to work bringing up my part.

This is the closest Home Depot location near me so I go there often.Last night, Wednesday Feb 24th, I stopped by for a few items. It takes quite a bit for me to write a review, but I was so impressed I felt the need to.First, the houseplant section was immaculate. The absolute best I have seen in any Home Depot or Lowe’s. I don’t know if somebody new is running it or I just happen to be there right after it was deep cleaned and stocked, but every plant was brimming with health and perfectly aligned in rows. Not one plant had any brown areas or was drooping.The final interaction I had that earned acknowledgment was the help I received from Zac in the paint section. I asked advice on a dresser I am repurposing and he went to great lengths to connect with and help me. It felt above and beyond and I left with everything I needed feeling prepared.

None of the employees know where anything is or care.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Went to exchange a propane tank and was sold one only to stand around for 10 minutes to then be told I had to go talk to customer service. This is after the guy that sold it to me was texting on his phone and watching me wait. So I went to customer service and waited...again. I was now told that they were out of propane even though they had just sold me one. They refunded the refill amount after yet more confusion and I left because of how much time was already wasted. Unfortunately I forgot my core tank because I had to go to customer service. I called to ask them to just refund the core charge to my credit card so I didnt have to waste even more time. I was told this wasnt their problem and I would have to come get it. This after everything that transpired was absolutely their fault. Terrible customer service and employees that dont care or know what they are doing.

Power tools are usually not stocked for you to choose but everything else is ok.

I only go to Lowe’s or Home Depot to buy indoor plants but this Home Depot has the smallest saddest selection ever!! I don’t go anymore because it’s a let down. Please please get more indoor plants!!! I live near this one and would go all the time If they had someone buying some awesome plants
