They always do me right here. Just understand theyre full most times, so you might wait a couple few hours depending on what youre having done.. This is a very good place to bring a trailer/carrier unit. They are very easy to get along with. I will gladly bring any carrier unit to them in the future. It is easy to find if your GPS is up to date. Some body had it all together when they designed this place, plenty of ROOM to maneuver the longest truck & trailer that is legal on US highways with out permits. Make sure that you call ahead of time. Until then save travels.

Great service at reasonable price!

After a bill of over $3,500 for a complete reefer inspection, service, manifold, shaft seal and federal DOT inspection I picked it up with a shiny DOT sticker on it but three tires that only had 50 psi in them a battery in the unit that wouldnt hold a charge and a loose battery cable and a brake/taillight out. Very poor quality inspection. Went to a different interstate location (Altoona IA) to get the battery and light done.

UNPROFESSIONAL, UNRELIABLE,I came in for a quick fix, my cruise control and engine break did not work sometimes, so I guessed is clutch switch or break switchI told them all i have is 2 hours and they responded they will take a look at it,3.5 hours later they told me they don’t know what is it and that they will neet another 4 hours to diagnose it, that I couldn’t wait.They charged me 210$ And I went to a local mechanic who figured out whats the problem in 10 min, (clutch switch ) fix it within an hour and change me 160$

Timely place

For the third time now I am having radiator or reservoir related problems pop up to my trucks after visiting here for a different problems.

I called the Service Dept and they were able to get me in and diagnose a DEF Heater issue and a couple of developing oil leaks. The Service Writer was kind enough to arrange a ride to lodging and the Technicians did an outstanding and prompt job in getting my truck back to road ready in record time the next day.Interstate Power has a fantastic team in Lakeville, MN.

Get a quote on paper or they’ll try to steal thousands from you ESPECIALLY if you’re not a large company. There’s an “automatic mark up on the hourly rate after it hits a certain amount of time” so if your bill is unusually high check on those hours. They quoted us “1400 plus some modifications”, we dropped off our bus, and they never called again. When we called to check in, the bus was ready. THE BILL WAS FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS. How does a quote go from 1400 to $4,000 for a heater install without notification or communication until the job was done? Beyond me.The mechanics themselves are superb, the company not so much.

Brought in my apu in February cause the heat stopped working. They took all day to supposedly fix it for $675 and 200 hours later I am in another carrier dealer trying to get the same problem fixed. This Apu cost more than idling. I will be getting an ONAN generator next. If anything at least it will be quiet. Crooks!!!

Absolutely wonderful ; respect and knowledge I received

We were told this place was great when it came to working on our trucks. Our experience is anything but good. They kept our truck 5 days. We had them do the overhead, APU work, oil change, and reset our opti idle parameters. The first two days was spent in the computer and apparently they still couldn’t get it right. Every time we spoke to them they told us the truck was done then it was another call a few minutes later letting us know they hadn’t done any other work on the truck give them to the end of the day. When it was all said and done they screwed up our inverter and when we brought it to their attention they asked us to leave. We were very patient with this place, kept our cool, made a ton of excuses for their incompetence, and treated them the way we would want to be treated. I wouldn’t bring my kids toys for fixing to this place. Worst ever service we have ever gotten from any place. They cost us $5 grand in revenue and $400 in hotel fees to still walk away with issues.Stay away from this place. Their work ethic is a joke and customer service is horrendous.

I spent some time here today 11/10/18, getting a software update for the transmission computer on my 2018 freightliner cascadia, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, during the time I was waiting I watched two customers come and that were rude to the staff . I suppose they were just having a bad day because their trucks were not functioning properly. The staff was very professional in courteous. They also seem to just park their trucks any old place with no regard for who theyre blocking in. I was very impressed with everyone that I interacted with. It takes a lot of tools, training, and electronic equipment to service these trucks. These guys know what theyre doing and deserve to get paid for it. As crazy as it sounds I actually argued about my price because I thought it was too low. I would recommend this company to anyone that is looking for honest Professional Service. Dont be fooled by the high percentage of low reviews. This shop services hundreds of repairs per month and with only 31 reviews I think it is very misleading !! if I could give them a ten star I would

Rip off artists... charged me 27,000$ for a tranny swap and brakes in a medium duty single axle truck... new transmission shifts no better then the old one and the anti lock brakes come on even on dry pavement when you are not sliding... yes you heard that right! I hit the brakes and they are in anti lock mode! they sent me down the road like this... I cancelled my payment and will be disputing in a courtroom. also... the truck was a 2001 worth about 9 grand... I asked for estimates before performing the work and got nothing.. then a service manager tells me there was 100 hours of labor at 200$ per hour... the sign on the shop wall says labor rate is 151??? I just had eye surgery where my lens was removed and replaced by a world renowned surgeon for 7k... had a 4500 sq ft duplex done. all framing roofing windows and 2 decks built for 24k. these are market prices! how can you swap a transmission out and do all 4 brakes and say its 27 k!!! who would put 27k into a rusty 9 thousand dollars truck!!!!!?????

Truck wouldnt transfer fuel from one tank to the other, called these guys to see if they could take some fuel out and prime start my truck, got a call back with a quote of $700 to $800 to take 20 gallons of fuel and prime the truck. I laughed at the guy and told him Id find someone else, which I did at a quarter of the price. Inexcusable, the fact that people like this are in business and ripping off honest working Americans is a travesty!!! SHAME

We came last Saturday on the emergency call . The refer didn’t want to start. When i call the mechanic on call told me it will be 500$ at least and i said ok . We own 20 reefers and we knew the emergence call is kore expensive. My driver went there it came out that the laternator bels was lose . They tightened the belt and everything was ok, the batterys were charging again . My driver was out in 30 min . No parts were used . Believed or not the Bill was 1000$ . Yes, you read that right, 1000$ for 30 mins work.The most we pay for a small thing was 500$ untill now . They are champs here in ripping you off . Stealing is ilegal but why this isnt illegal what they are doing ??? Or maybe it is

👍👍Im a driver for Prime. Was sent here for alternator service for reefer trlr. Arrived at 7:15, checked in at 7:28. There was 1 work assignment ahead of me. Got into a garage at 9:15. I was outta there and rollin before 1030!Trlr worked perfectly for the rest of the trip. Still made my delivery on time! Yay! 😊

I am running reefers for the last 5 years we called emergency call after 5 pm exactly 7 pm they open the shop the belt was found loosed they secured the belt and jump start the battery and charge 1006$ no parts replaced when I complain to the manager he was rude and telling me how much your load was worth ...so there was no parts to be replaced and it take them less than 15 min work complete Rip off the worst carrier place nationwide...
