The Ice cream is awesome, just dont get a chocolate dipped cone in 90°+ unless you want to have the ice cream spew from within the chocolate and have it cover your hands. I got a Marshmallow Malt and it was a good time, but the ladies with me had an ice cream drip party.All things considered this is definitely a staple for the town.

Pretty good. The ice cream seemed to melt faster than one would typically expect but it was still very good.

This is a childhood staple for families that grew up in Lakeville like myself. Ill always get the blue goo flavor burst. I cannot recommend this place more. ❤️

I love the concept of this type of ice cream place. It is usually very busy here BUT the last time I went the serving of soft serve was so small I thought maybe they gave me the wrong order by mistake. Nope! Probably wont go back.

Glad to see over the 20 years weve been coming here they constantly update the place. New tv menu and machines on the inside. If your new to the lakeville downtown area i would highly recommend stopping by! Get some ice cream and walk the down town. So much fun!

Great place. They have a small playground for the kiddos as well as seating for anyone going there. Could you a little cleaning up, but its got a great neighborhood feel with the state it is currently in. Still though. A little love never hurt.One other thing that was good is that they have some food (from the grill) offerings as well. Its a one stop shop for a hot afternoon. Good stuff.Soft serve was on point. Moose tracks ice cream was legit. Highly recommend it.

A fine ice cream place. Theres usually a line but it moves quickly.

At 9:01 a black man was in line and he wanted to get a cone of ice cream. He attempted to order, but he was denied service. At 9:03 a older white man (roughly 55) ordered a ice cream cone and was successful. The man’s wife seen this and proceeded to do what anyone would do when confronted with unfairness; she brought this to their attention and was served upon bring this up to the staff at dairy delight. It doesn’t even have to be a race thing, but I don’t tolerate unfairness at any degree. Everyone deserves to be treated with equal service.

This is a pretty good ice cream shop in downtown Lakeville. Its a nice place to drift past on foot and take the family. Soft Serve and Real Ice Cream. Also, they took my wierd order very seriously (tiny glop of soft serve, lots of hot fudge), which I enjoyed.

The only issue we had with this place was that we found the sizes to be overly complicated and a little confusing, especially when ordering for multiple people. Regardless, the Blizzard (or whatever lol) I got was SO GOOD. The girl had a ton of the stuff mixed in it and I got delicious cookie dough in every bite. It was perfect.

Drove 15 extra miles out of the way to try this place and theyre not even open But the hours say they are

A great spot for delicious Chocolate Shoppe Super Premium Scooped Ice Cream or your favorite soft serve ice cream treats. We also carry made to order fast food items for lunch and dinner.

My husband and I took the kids here tonight. The girl working was rude and impatient and the ice cream was terrible! My husband ordered a root beer malt and it was so bad he threw it away. The other ice cream we ordered for the kids was gritty and the kids said it tasted old. If I could give 0 stars I would. I am not happy I even had to put 1 star! We have 4 kids and so for a family of 6, it isnt worth the money they charge for bad service and old gritty ice cream you have to immediately throw away because it is so bad. We ended up taking the kids somewhere else and were completely happy. My husband grew up around here and has been going there for many years. It was always the adorable little ice cream shop that he remembered growing up with and wanted to share that with our own kids like a tradition because there arent many places like that open anymore. Its sad that this place that once used to bring so many smiles and happy memories has now become run down with bad service and old ice cream. We will not ever go back there.

I love that we have our own ice cream shop right here downtown Lakeville. They have a free little library and a swing set too. Such a quaint place that the kids and I appreciate!

They have dairy free Italian ice as well. The ice cream is super creamy and delicious.Seating is outside and shade is at a premium. The play area is a rainbow playset on asphalt. Made me a bit nervous. While the kid played on it.A great stop after Lakeville Brewing next door.

Ive been going to dairy delite ever since I did driving school in downtown. I wish they had a better online presence because you never know their hours but its always great to visit. Its usually a younger crowd working there so theres some mistakes here and there but theyre always polite and seem to enjoy working there. I love taking a walk downtown and stopping here along the way.

They have both the soft serve and hand scoop. Great place for ice cream.

Its good good Ice cream, but just kids running it.. so the service is lacking. I ordered a milk shake and waited a good 15mins to get it, come to find out it was just sitting and completely melted by the rime I got it.

Nostalgia meets Trendy hotspot - this ice cream shop is a throwback to the 50s style ice cream shop on main street. Walk up to the window and order your favorite frozen treat or get the entire meal, burgers, fries, etc - the food is always good and made to order as you wait. There are chairs, picnic tables, and benches to enjoy your food/treat. You can sit and enjoy while you watch the main street traffic and see lots of familiar faces as they all meet at the Lakeville hot-spot for cool treats! We love our little malt shop that has been a staple on the corner of main street for YEARS!

They have hard ice cream not soft serve loved it. Kids found it amazing

The machines never work. I drive there to find that the machines arent working almost every single time I go. I have given up on the place.

I love this place! I used to live right down the road as a kid and we came here often. I was in the Apple Valley/Lakeville area and I stopped by. I got a classic vanilla cone and it reminded me of my childhood. Thanks Dairy Delite for continuing to serve ice-cream. :)

They were out of malt powder when we went, but the root beer shake and chocolate shake were still quite delicious!

Dairy Delite is a good place to hang out and have ice cream. The problem I had was the ice cream was over-priced and the cups were dirty. It might be the ice cream I had but I don’t know.

We showed up at 8:45 p.m. and they closed at 9 p.m... the workers looked at my family and 5 other customers behind us and shut off the lights. When asked why they were closing early they said they didnt care. Have heard from multiple friends/family this same experience. Probably will just stick to Dairy Queen

I had to knock on the window to get the girls attention. Waitied 5 minutes before my son and I was recognized. I ordered 2 scoops of icecream and the amount of icecream I got in my cup was rediculious. Especially for the price. I told the girl that didnt look right. And she said, yep they are only half a scoops.The quality was horrible. I can go to a different icecream shop and get way more for the same price.
