Absolutely amazing! I walked in less than 48 hours before my daughters first birthday party looking for a smash cake - and boy did they deliver! Cream of the Cakes did an amazing job exceeding my expectations - especially with short notice and a vague idea of what I was looking for. I received so many compliments on the cake and it tasted delicious! 100% recommend!! Amazing to work with as well :)

The staff we very friendly and kind.We bought day old, no flavor. We bought cookies. Nice and big and soft, molasses, not enough flavor. the sconces Didnt have much flavor also.Scones looked good,soft. But all I tasted was flour. Bought 2 cupcakes, the champagne one had a strange taste. The vanilla one was good. It was our 1st time here and it will most likely be our last.

Really good place for cakes. Ordered one for my father. It was delicious and well made. I did try ordering a cake for another event and sent an e-mail and never heard back. I realized I was requesting something last minute but I did not even receive a cant do it response. Although customer service is important this was not enough to stop me from going back.

Ordered cupcakes from here for my moms 99th birthday. I had never ordered from there, but on the phone the person was so helpful in choosing what I needed. She suggested 3 flavors, the most popular, chocolate, lemon and pink Champagne. They were beautiful and so delicious!! Well be back!!

I placed an order for event 48 mini cupcakes. I was promised they would have fresh raspberries, gold foil and pearl accents. These are the mini cupcakes I paid over $100 for…. Extremely disappointing. I could have either made these myself or gotten some at Walmart and had them be prettier than this. I wanted them to look elevated for a grand opening and they look like a child made them. AVOID THIS PLACE if you care how your cupcakes will look.

I have ordered 3 cakes for very special occasions, in the last year from Liz and her staff. Every single one has exceeded what I asked for. Just picked one up on Saturday for a Cars themed birthday and it couldn’t have been more perfect...oh and they taste amazing too!

These ladies have not disappointed! I’ve ordered twice for birthday cupcakes and both times they were so creative, with gorgeous details and tasted amazing! Highlight of the party, for sure. Even when I gave them vague direction for a Zombie-themed party, the results were amazing

Ordered a birthday cake from Walmart, showed up to get it and was told it didnt get done because their cake decorater was out due to COVID.... wasnt informed until I showed up the day of the party!! After scrambling to figure something out, 3 other walmarts and 2 Hyvees later of being told they couldnt help me, I spotted Cream of the Cakes bakery and they HOOKED ME UP!!! These ladies were so helpful and friendly and went out of their way to give me the fresh cupcakes they were baking for their store and custom decorated for me! Super enjoyable! The lady gave us recommendations and helped us pick between all the options. They were making cakes in the back that looked so cute. The red velvet cupcake was yummy!! And the raspberry chocolate cake trifle was super. I didn’t like the monster cookie (it was chewy) but that could just be me.

I am blown away by the perfection, beauty and taste of my cake!!! I had a half birthday (6 month birthday) for my daughter. I wanted a cake shaped like a cup cake and the colors to be pink and light blue with sprinkles on top!! The detail that was put into making this cake for me was simply remarkable. Several people in my family thought there was paper wrapping around the bottom of the cupcake, but to their amazement it was actually frosting that was done in such a detailed matter that it looked like perfectly wrapped paper. I wanted the plate that goes under the cake to say happy half birthday and then my daughters name. I have never seen it be done in such a neat way before!! It was absolutely beautiful! If you need a cake, do not go anywhere else!! I will be returning again and again! So happy with my purchase!! Thank you thank you!

I am a huge Key-Lime pie fan and I am super picky about it. I have had it from all over the country from Arkansas to Colorado to Minnesota. It is my go-to desert if it is offered. I have to say, the Key-Lime pie I had from Cream of the Cakes is hands down the best I have ever had! It may just be the best overall pie I have ever hadas well!

We ordered a Spongebob cake for my daughters birthday and it was beautiful, a perfect size, and delicious! The person who took our order made sure to ask what color frosting my daughter would like and took time to go through flavors to make sure she would love her cake (and she did)!

Everything is delicious! So many wonderful flavors of cupcakes. The brownie is sooo good. The cinnamon rolls are yummy. Recently had a french silk pie from here.... wow... is it amazing! Its three layers of deliciousness! So glad I found this place a few months ago!

Liz is such a joy to work with. Anytime I need treats for a work function she’s there to help. Her treats make a lasting impression and they are always delicious. My personal favorite is the honey whiskey cupcake!

We have had two cakes made (so far) at Cream of the Cakes and will continue to use Elizabeth for ALL future cake needs! She made a woodland theme cake for my sisters baby shower, and most recently made a cake for our wedding! I already have her planning a cake for a close friend’s baby shower as well! She has such a creative mind and does wonderful at making my visions come to life! I will include pictures in the photo section! Her pricing is incredibly fair and she pours her heart into her creations! LOVED working with her and cannot wait to see what she makes us next! I cant recommend Cream of the Cakes enough! This place is great! Liz and staff are consistent with their welcoming and friendly service. Ive tried the baked goods and given many as gifts. Liz has a great variety of delicious cupcakes, including Gluten free. The blueberry lemon sticky cakes are superb. My familys favorite is the banana chocolate chip muffins! Liz was wonderful at helping me with an order for a banana chocolate chip muffin birthday cake for my daughter. Thank you Liz!

I will never eat another brownie as long as I live unless it’s from this place! The same goes for monster cookies! I also got to sample a scone while there- amazing!! This place is a gem! Can’t wait to come back!

Liz makes the MOST incredible cakes and cupcakes. She has made several amazing cakes for my daughters birthdays that are as artistic as they are delicious. Yesterday she was able to take a same-day order and make 24 custom German chocolate cupcakes for me that were to die for. I cannot recommend this place enough.

My experience at Cream of the Cakes was nothing short of pleasant. Liz did a wonderful job with educating myself about the variety of products/services that they offer and how these products are made. I purchased 2 cupcakes and one jumbo cookie, all of which had me craving for more. Needless to say, I will be returning to taste their other flavors! #awesome.

Ive used Cream of the Cakes for both a bridal shower I helped host and my own wedding reception- absolutely amazing cupcakes both times. Guests have been talking about them for days afterwards! Liz is awesome and so fun to work with. We had lots of allergies to deal with and she helped us navigate that so everyone could enjoy. Also, if you stop in the shop, get an iced coffee... So good!

We ordered a custom cake short notice for a command event. Liz made such an AMAZING cake! The cake was absolutely delicious and I could not recommend Cream of the Cakes more! So great to work with! Their gluten free lemon and carrot cake are the BEST! Their chocolate cupcakes are also sooooo good (that actually doesn’t happen often for me)!The whole team is also so friendly and accommodating!
