We visited the Lakeville location on Saturday and were quite disappointed with the Covid practices. There is a sign displayed on the door describing no more than 6 customers in the showroom at a time. We walked in to an empty bottle of hand sanitizer, not even a drop! I was very uncomfortable with the amount of customers allowed in this small showroom. They definitely werent following their signage of 6 customers. NO social distancing was followed between customers or employees. We were politely greeted upon arrival and all employees were wearing masks. There wasnt much variety in tile options and labeling of product was inconsistent. We are remodeling three bathrooms, but we will not be using Minnesota Tile and Stone.
Left several messages without return calls,. once they had my order for the counter tops for my entire new construction home and I was unable to go elsewhere the customer service turned from bad to worse. was Do yourself a BIG favor and make sure you get a commitment on installation dates upfront, and then don’t even trust that!
Picked out the tile we wanted and were given a referral of Preston Custom Tile to lay the floor. It turned out great and Mike Preston let me do as much prep work as I wanted. Even when I bit off more than I could chew he came back and installed my toilet and sink. Thank you Minnesota Tile and Stone and Preston Custom Tile, you made my wife very happy.
Just great like the Minnetonka, Oakdale, and Plymouth locations. The ladies in the office stayed a few minutes late so I could get a tool the night before Thanksgiving! Absolutely quality service and now I can get my job done before Turkey dinner! Thank you tons!!!
Always. Nice to go there. And they always have what I need.
This review is specific to the Minnetonka location. I am a general contractor and used them for a project with nothing but problems. Cole the sales person was awful to deal with he did not write down half of the clients tile selection and wrote down the wrong thickness of vanity countertop. He also kept forgetting parts of the shower curb and shower bench so I had to go back to my client with different prices four times even though nothing changed on the job. Once it came time to install the countertop almost 4 months later they did not send enough guys to lift the slab into the house and once more guy showed up and got it into the house they had put the seem in the wrong location. A simple vanity installation that should have taken no more than one hour took six hours and still wasnt right. There are plenty of other countertop fabricators around I would Recommend going elsewhere
We have never been more happy with the professional staff at this location. They helped us with every aspect of purchasing tile. 10/10
You will not regret working with MN Tile.
