My husband and I bought our Keystone Cougar 22MLS travel trailer from the the team at Lakeville Camping World in May. We had a wonderful experience and absolutely loved our trailer! But after a few trips, we quickly realized we were hooked and we wanted more. We had an idea of what we wanted, but when we stopped and in and met with Ben, he really went above and beyond to get us the fifth wheel of our dreams! He sat down with us, talked over what we liked and didn’t like, and listened to what we were looking for. He even brought one up from other location for us so we could see it. It ended up being “the one”! As with our first experience, the entire team was awesome, from start to finish. Ben even went above and beyond to drop off our keys late at night when we got our new fifth wheel home! While we were outside looking Evan Prince approached us and introduced himself and asked to see if we needed any help or had any questions about their campers. We said yes. He then said that he needed some information to help narrow our choices for us. He did a great job of what we could afford and what type and size that we could tow with our truck. He then showed us several choices of models and sizes for our price range. He did not pressure us while we were deciding what to do, when we finally decided which camper we were interested in. I have to say that Ben did an awesome job with our experience at Camping World however I would suggest getting your own financial institution to do the job!! No offense as everyone has different situations on credit… however big promises and no results! Took 2days of figuring finance and took us 10 minutes going through our own. Save yourselves and get your own and look into insurance so you know what to expect and don’t have to listen to good sams BS!!! I understand the fact they have to push their product but got really annoying listening to it when I am trying to sign documents and figure out what I am signing when you have to listen to a insurance agent selling his BS. The service upon walkthrough with Ian was great!! Do your homework and get it done right!!!!!!!

I understand they are all about camping now, but you used to have a very nice fishing department when it was Gander Outdoors also had a nice live bait selection.Now I would call it embarrassing! 🤷🏻‍♂️ Just get rid of your fishing department so I stop wasting my time going there thinking things will change! No more live bait either! Im not a happy customer.

More selection than gander mountain had. Prices are more reasonable. Clean inviting store with polite helpful staff. They had a good overall selection of gear for fishing shooting camping. Came here to check it out, was impressed

We had a horrible experience getting a new awning on our existing trailer. After the work was done, there was easily $3,000-5,000 worth of damage done to the trailer. The manager decided to give us the awning for free and we both walk away. We were satisfied with this, and I kept silent for a year. But, the problems just keep coming, and this one wasnt one of the reasons for the refund. The awning stopped going out, but would come in. I took the switch out of the wall to inspect the wiring. A loose connection. So I held the switch in my hand gently to take pictures of the wiring diagram, and WHOA! A crimped wire disconnects, with the extension retreating inside the wall. I quick grab the retreating wire. First, the installer left 0.2 inches of extra wire to work with. Seriously? Next, I realize that this wire is very thin compared to the beefy wire it was connected to that visibly plugged into the switch. So the assumption is that cheaper wire was used behind the scenes. And Im stuck with a wire I cant get tools on to re-crimp. So not happy. Should I also mention a bolt at the top of the awning arm fell out because its too short for the application, tore the awning fabric, and required 3 strong men to jerry rig it back together so I could drive home? This has been a nightmare. Management will counter that this trailer was unique. Very true. But they knew about that the 6 visits and 4 months prior that it took to get the awning ordered, complete with pictures of the trailer, before the trailer ever arrived. We have fixed the bolt. Fixed the fabric. Now to figure out the wiring.

Our salesman Ben was nothing short of professional and dedicated to finding the customer exactly what they are looking for. We were tough to deal with at some points in the process but Ben persevered and really stuck it out. Franz in the Financing dept was excellent and really helpful. Damir the GM was a little abrasive with his demeanor we were not all that pleased to deal with him. The service department could be a bit more organized and a little more technical with the trailers being sold at their store. Overall a great experience but a few minor draw backs.

Went in today as a fairly novice user for my first spring after winterizing for my first winter last year. I thought I broke it but they helped show me where all the valves are that Thors manual doesnt. In and out in 15 minutes at no charge. Ill definitely be back for my future services based on that helpful work for a newby.

I want to leave a review specifically for Ben at Camping World Lakeville. Before I purchased my RV from Camping World, I had read so many negative reviews about the company. I decided to go ahead and take the leap, because they were the RV dealership closest to me that did not require me to go out of State.Ben was the salesperson that helped me. I came in with the clear vision of what I wanted. He showed the RV in that category. Did not like it at all. I was like where is the coach. To be clear, my length requirement (under 25 ft) did not include that type of amenity. Long story short, he helped me find the right RV with the amenities I wanted and the length was only slightly over (it was 28 ft) what I wanted.Lets just say within the first few weeks of owning the RV I probably called or text been 10 times with what I perceived to be issued. I honestly thought, hey this is what those people were talking about, but to my glee, it really was user error on every issue I brought to been.My point, it didnt matter. Ben helped me all the way. Even when he knew it was user error and tried to give me the simple fix, which I was adamant was not the case, he was patient with me and helped me learn my RV. Now, when a simple thing occurs, I ask myself, did you read the owner manuals that come with the RV? If not, I read them and to be honest everything is cleared up.I cannot speak for Camping Worlds across the US or their salespeople across the US. I can speak on my experience with the one in Lakeville, MN and Ben. Great experience, awesome RV, and truly caring salesperson in Ben.

Ben was amazing and is the ONLY reason for the 5 stars. He was so patient with us during our 2 months deciding if we wanted a new camper. He would send us options of ones that met our criteria and was never too pushy. He was great. The general manager, Damir, was a little tough to work with. His customer service wasn’t the best. The service department also gave us the run around saying things werent working when it was just an outlet they were using. Thankfully we were able to mostly work with Ben and overall had a good experience.

Had an issue with no power inside my camper and I was leaving that day for a week long trip. Came in unannounced and the service was amazing. 2 techs took time to search for the issue, a faulty wire, and solved it in no time. Can’t say enough about how awesome these guys are

They put a satellite dish and a wifi antena on my rv had to go back 3 times before they got it working them they wired it in the same hook up as my furnace and then that quite working but they said I had to pay for a new thermostat they shorted out. I dont trust them sorry

It has been really difficult to get in touch with or have their service group to return calls. I have had issues when I have scheduled or unscheduled maintenance. Today, I can’t even get the switchboard to answer the call this morning.The work they do is great and I have had great luck with purchasing my hunting equipment there, but their communication needs to improve.

Ive been shopping for a camper for a couple years now with different salespersons and I could never find one for me and the wife that REALLY made us happy with everything about it. Then Ben in Lakeville laid out our options on what we’re looking for and what we’ll be doing with the camper and found us one that we thought we’d never even consider. And we couldn’t be more happy with our experience. We had laughs on the side which always makes for a good purchasing experience.

Purchased a 2014 19 Keystone Bullet Premier in January. Was told everything was in working order after having gone through a 3-4 hour inspection. They would not show me the paperwork of the inspection. They tried to sell me warranty and insurance plans at an additional cost of $10K. After refusing the policies they reduced the offered policy pricing almost 50% to their bottom line. Why wasnt this offered in the first place? I refused their offer. After assurance that the trailer had been winterized, I drove it home.Upon our first use of the trailer the first week in May, the fresh water tank was leaking through the belly skin and the pump did not develop pressure. After several unanswered or unreturned calls, I stopped in at the service dept to see what they could do for me to repair the situation. I spoke with both the store manager and the service dept manager and was told that it was my problem at my cost though obviously it was an existing situation at the time of purchase. The store manager told me that a 6 hour inspection had been done and all was good at the time of the sale. (Inspection went from 3-4 hours to 6). Still no paperwork to substantiate his claim. I was offered a free inspection and set it up for the following Wed. I was told it would be done in the next day or 2 but having not heard from them by the following Mon, I called them. After again several unanswered calls and unreturned messages I was able to finally get them to answer. I was told they had been busy but would get right on it. Later that day they called me back stating the inspection had been completed and the fresh water tank had a crack at the top of it and would cost me $1400 to repair and they were not liable and unwilling to pick up any of the costs and that I should have bought the warranty. I told them I was very unhappy with their offer and would get back to them in a couple hours after exploring my options. I found another repair service to do the work and called Camping World back. Again no answer or return message. This went on for another week and half with 8 more calls. I was trying to be courteous in setting up a convenient time for both of us to pick up the trailer. Finally someone answered and a pick up date was set for the following Sat, 2 1/2 weeks after I had dropped it off. They assured me it would be ready to be towed. I arrived and saw my trailer in the front parking lot with the belly skin cut open and flopping in the wind. Went to the service dept demanding it be affixed in place. They tell me they have no record of an inspection being done and couldnt explain why the belly had been cut open.After arguing and denials on their part they taped it up and I brought it home.The following Tue the repair service I had contacted came on time to my house as scheduled. We opened the belly skin and filled the tank. It started leaking as it reached full. He was skeptical on where the water was leaking from. He opened the cabinet for access to the water pump and found that a line to the pump had been disconnected and positioned by the low water drain to make it appear that the tank was compromised. The line connection to the pump is secured by a clamp that can only be released purposely. He secured the line, filled and tested the system and all was good. There was no crack in the tank. Cost of his trip and repair was $150. Shame on you Camping Chumps. You get zero out ten.

Be careful buying from these people unless you read every last line. We bought what we thought was a beautiful fifth wheel for the advertised price $33,856 which was supposedly $300 cheaper than it had been. We brought in a 1999 nuwa hitchhiker premiere for trade, loaded fifth wheel with some water damage. They gave us $1000 for it saying they were going to part it out. A week later we receive paperwork to sign and send back that has $7642.00 more in add on products and the sales price of $38,999.00 (which we were quoted $33,856.00). When we called the dealership, nobody is available. Theyre all in a meeting.I guess this would be the reasoning behind the manager taking my phone and giving camping world a 5 star rating.You do the math. And with a credit score of over 750 their interest came back at 8.99% for 12 years.Now I understand the low ratings. It wasnt Gander Mountain, as they try to claim, its Camping World. Shame on them.

The presentation of the process from start to finish was very organized. The best part was the patients with our questions and direct answers that answered our questions. Absolutely TERRIBLE service!! I wish I could leave 0 stars. Dropped our camper off over a week ago and they never even looked at it to see what was wrong with it. We called MULTIPLE TIMES a day just to see if we could talk to someone. We kept being told we would get a call back and no one ever called. We just wanted a call back, thats it. Couldnt even get that. We understand places are very understaffed right now, but they could have been honest with us when we dropped it off that it would take quite a while. Will never come here or recommend anyone go here ever again.

This establishment is positively wonderful. I went in simply looking for a sleeping bag, and ended up leaving with a tent, a gorgeous new sweater, AND an outdoor griddle all because of their stellar sales team! My salesman, Jake, was so charming and could have convinced me to purchase an entire bicycle, had he tried! I WILL be returning!

Overall our experience was good. Communication was good through text messages, emails and phone calls as we were looking for a new camper. The day of purchasing our new camper was long. Spent a good majority of the time sitting and waiting. It was busy the day we purchased our camper and only had one finance person there to assist. Seems like the overall process could be done faster so customers would not need to be there all day.

From the moment we met Ben (our salesman) he had our best interest in mind. He provided the facts about the different options that met our budget and our needs. He was there the day we picked up our camper as well and made sure we were completely satisfied with our purchase before leaving. I would HIGHLY recommend working with Ben.
