HORRIBLE customer service. I spent an hour with Sam in store. He seemed like he knew what he was saying. Sam told me when before I left that I should try to find a better deal. They would price match it. Fast forward 7 days. I called today with what I thought was a better deal, it was not and fully admit, BUT instead of explaining that to me, Sam talked over me when I tried to ask questions, raised his voice and was incredibility rude and all the manager said was, Im sorry Maam. On principle alone I cant buy from them. I WOULD NEVER go back to this place. Ever. If you dont stand by your word and be nice about then you should not be in sales.

Great Customer Service. I have had my Viking tub for more than 6 years with its share of deficiencies to include both pumps, heater and blown fuses. Each time I had an issue with the tub the team at Family Leisure worked together to assist me with needed repairs in a timely and cost conscious manner regardless of its warranty period. Thank you to the entire Family Leisure Team!!

The price was right but everything else was a disaster! Service, installation, and customer service was non existent. I was told one thing and got another. My hot tub hasn’t worked since I got it. Our sales person Rob Mattson is a smooth operator. He should be in politics or a used car salesmen. He has done nothing but put us off and buy his time to the end. Lies, deception, and just plain disregard to anything we have talked to him about. Be glad this place is going out of business!

Good Service and product for a new time pool owner. Granted an above ground pool is not the same as a semi or in-ground pool, the cost was on par. Sam was great to help a new owner understand what you are getting into and also has a morning pool school to help you understand what is required for a pool. The installation was hair raising, but the staff at Twin Cities Recreational were awesome. Herman and his staff have so much knowledge, it will make your ears bleed.Construction is a messy job, but they did a fantastic job with little damage to the lawn.Listen to Sam & Brandon as they will answer your questions and concerns.Speak with Herman & Jeff during construction, they will work with you.

If you want to receive the wrong items, at the wrong address, on the wrong delivery date, with no follow up communication from the store then this is the place for you. If you care to read more here is the synopsis of my experience while trying to purchase a pool table and a few chairs.1. Wrong pool table deliverd2. Wrong address table was delivered to3. Missing items I purchased upon delivery without notice4. Missed ETA dates of delivery on multiple occasions without notice5. Continual disregard for my purchase and providing with the items I paid for without updating me on delays.6. Final item provided was missing pieces so I couldnt put it together7. Showed up unexpectedly to my house to deliver the final item I purchased on a work day asking how he they should drop it off since it was raining outside8. Contacted the manager and owner of the store with my story documenting every conversation I had and never received a response.9. Went to the BBB and they downgraded their rating due to lack of response from their organization.

Great location for all your outdoor seating/patio/hot tub needs as well as good selection of theater seating. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable.

Phenomenal warehouse style store with huge selection of pools, patio furniture, spas, game room wares and home theater products. We purchased an ABG pool in 2015. Sale staff went above and beyond and hooked us up with a great package. Being I was a virgin with pool ownership, the salesman thoroughly explained what to expect and how to maintain the pool in our finicky upper-midwest weather. Because we purchased the pool through them we get chemical discounts. A much smaller store 5 miles from my house sells many of the same products as family leisure, but the prices are marked up significantly, so its is well worth the drive for the savings on the pool as well the chemicals.

Everything was great besides not having my filter instock!! Now I have to order it and not get todays discount..☹

This is the second pool we have purchased here, first was when they were Watsons in Brooklyn Park. We are still working with Rob and he is an excellent salesman and wonderful to work with. We make the drive down from Coon Rapids every spring and buy the seasons worth of chemicals and supplies and havent had any problems until a hail storm destroyed our pool.

I bought a above ground pool from them last fall (2017) and I was told I have a year of wanrranty for installations. After just couple weeks used and theres leaks on the return so I gave them a call and was told Im on my own. The guy from service that I talked to wasnt real nice into my conversation and told me to drive 1.5 hours to his store so he can show me how to fix it? Please take these reviews seriously before you buy anything from family leisure. I read some bad reviews from here about them and didnt think it will be this bad. Now I know.

My husband and I were super impressed with this place. We had pool water issues due to our well water. We dont have a pool from this place but the staff at the Lakeville location were so kind to help us with our water issues. So very nice that they took the time out of their day to help us. Our water issue is now gone and we couldnt be happier! Thank you so much! Definetly do business with these people!

I would never give this company our business again. TERRIBLE costumer service is putting it nicely!!! Our pool collapsed to no fault of ours after 2 years and they didnt help us with our insurance company nor warranty as they said they would. They give us the run around constantly. Please save yourself a huge headache and DO NOT give them your business!!!!

Incredibly disappointed in our experience with Family Leisure. Our instinct was to bail on this during the sales process when the salesman consistently would only talk with us for a few minutes at a time. I understand that being busy is great for a company, but when a customer is spending a considerable amount of money on a pool it would be nice to get a salespersons undivided attention. We did end up buying and were happy to hear that they could install right after the 4th of July. This is where the real disappointment comes in. The crew (one person) showed up late on their scheduled day and stated his crew was sick and they would not be able to finish today...it rained that night and because of that our yard was trashed far beyond what I was told and what was expected. They then came back the next day and finished the job. I was ready for the cleanup knowing that it would be my job to clean up excess dirt and sand like stated in the contract...however I was not prepared for all of the leftovers that were left behind by the set up crew. The sod was also thrown everywhere. Our yard will not recover this year. Had we known the severity of the damage I would have come up with a different solution. If you still feel the need to purchase a pool through this company (which I would not recommend) make sure you ask a ton of questions. You will be told what you want to hear up front, but they will fall far short of their promises.

BIGGEST RIP OFF EVER. DO NOT BUY A POOL FROM THESE PEOPLE. GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!! To start with, had to wait 2 months to get the pool installed. Thier professional installers tore the hell out of my yard driving around a bobcat with a busted track. Set it up 5 feet too close to an outbuilding, even tho we had where it was SUPPOSED to go staked out. Set the pump up wrong, so when we filled the pool, water poured out, causing the pump to fall and break the base. After numerous calls, where they blamed US for the damage, the installer finally came out, looked at it, blamed us again, and left. The manager finally came out, admitted it was not our fault and replaced the base. Also promised to send new hoses, which he did not do. Chemical dispenser that they said would last all season lasted a month on the lowest setting. Solar cover far too large, winter cover too small. Cant get any help when we call. If I could give 0 stars or a negative rating I would. I

Not real happy with the installation process made a mess all over the place. Ladder was defective and my Son fell off and hurt himself bad. Called they said the would replace steps but paid more for a different set. We waited all day for them to deliver them so could not even use the pool they said they would be here between 7-9 am it is 3:00 and no sign of them yet. Not real good customer service!!

A 1 star is too high of a rating for this place. Worst customer service Ive ever had. Made a purchase for a pool table, bar and mirror in December. Received the pool table on time but it had a scratch. I was told it would be 3 to 4 weeks for the bar and mirror. I called after 5 weeks and was told it would be early to mid February. We are now in mid-March and have still not received the items. Its been 14 weeks since i paid for the items. No communication. Ive had to call to get information after being told I would be called back. I get a new person telling me they will personally follow-up with me. But they never call me back. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Was were asked to put down a $100 deposit to hold the price of a new pool for a week while we investigated our other costs(which came In too high to afford this year unfortunately)... now, they wont give us our money back. They tell us they sent the refund....yesterday, every time we call. We will call again and keep trying... meanwhile we will buy our pool elsewhere.

I would say no no no for this store. They have taken money from us 5 months before and promised a delivery in mid of September, a day before delivery they realized that they did not even have the item and its not even available with manufacturer, Might be coming some where from different part of the world bigg ??????? for a inventory manager who looks after the orders and delivery again we were promised to be delivered items on first week of october and when the day came they say no we cant again. We have bought matching bar stools and rest items for the bar and back bar and hutch for it and now its sitting at home. They did a favor and gave us a loner front bar and now its mid of October we were told our back bar and hutch will come in November 6 months from the day after we made a payment and its not certain for November too.....then we were told they they will give us a different set for a better deal and which includes a full set with back bar, hutch, front bar and chairs, went and made extra payment and now they say that you have not purchased chairs it cannot be included. Where is a words of a sales person are,t they trained to speak what they should or not to bluff customers with exaggeration for the things they cant. When i called again one persont said talk to other and when i talked to other he said i cant do it talk to who ever told you it comes with chairs. I would say think twice before going to that store.......they kept my money for about 5 plus months and did not deliver items what we needed, i had to do my house warming without my bars ..... I would pay a bit more and go to a store with good customer service where they know how to keep the word what they speak to customer.

Terrible condescending service. I mentioned I had a doughboy pool and the sales guy said, Im sorry to hear that! I asked if they carried doughboy chemicals and he began to ramble quickly about how they carried their own signature lines of chemicals, not doughboy, but all chemicals are basically the same. He then started grilling me on PH and Alkalinity. I told him I needed spring startup chemicals, including shock and he said I was wasting my time buying chemicals if I hadnt balanced my ph yet. The lady behind the counter was trying to be nice enough to offset his rudeness, but he continued to talk over her. He either drank too much caffeine or added some other substance that keeps him wired and rambling on and on.Hes one of those greasy stuck-in-the-80s guys with the slicked back hair and the thick gold necklace. Gross. Bad vibes all around from this condescending jerk. I wont bother returning.

Seems items are a bit more expensive and a person working in the store attempted to tell me that it was a state law that prevented me from returning an unopened bucket of chlorine tablets, I was attempting to sell it back to them. The manager came out and said we will do the return just this once. If it was a state law, why do it at all? Just show me the documentation.Not a fan.

They got all the pool stuff. Ive made the mistake of buying the Walmart stuff.
