This store has a really nice craft section. Lots of puzzles. Great drink selection. Holiday decor is super. I wish they were around when my kids were small! I love this place!

I wish I would have gotten the name of the lady at the cash register. She was so amazing. She cared for each person and didnt get stressed. That lady is amazing 👏 The Dollar Tree otherwise was your typical dollar tree. Love the cards for 50 cents.

Lines go very slow at this store. They only use one cashier except when a second cashier opens up because there is fifteen people waiting in line. Then will shut down again immediately after helping one person. All the while two more employees are walking in and out of the tiny managers office all day in what looks like a contest of who can get to the back of the store without speaking to anybody first kind of challege Mind you, the one register that is open, just so happens to be, the slowest cashier alive. I mean she is as sweet as cotton candy but also forget an Uber shes drag you by the hair to get you home slow.

Went for thank you notes. Found several styles to choose from. Also bought flip flops for summer! Plus a couple of kitchen gadgets. I always have fun at this store.

Most things are in stock. Also a lot more of everything available. Flowers, paints, shampoo/conditioner even food items at reasonable prices. School supplies not only for students but for teachers too!

Wonderful service! Friendly woman cashier. Her friends was behind me and she made sure that they knew the Rules of the CDC. Polite humor atmosphere. I like the drive.

The wait is always quite long, the associates are pleasant enough but there is definitely no urge to provide quick service. They will definitely look at you with an attitude like Ill help you when Im ready I understand cleaning protocol, but I do not understand talking with the customers well past the transaction when you have one register open and seven people in line.

The employees/staff were helpful and friendly. Finding specific things is difficult because of the layout of the store and how the items are arranged on the shelves. Overall a pleasant experience and worth a visit if you like dollar stores

One of my favorite stores - especially for cards, decorations, gift wrap, candy, etc., Etc., Etc. Its so much fun to see what they have different each time I go in. The best part ... Everything is just $1.00! Love it! Thanks!

The only problem is sometimes on weekends they only have one register open and when I was there I asked if she could ask to open another one. She said no, she was the only one there. Then someone did show up and helped someone that needed a ton of balloons blown up so it did not help to open the other one, as the people who moved to the new register didnt get help very quickly and the line they move out of, they would have been better off staying there.

Always good deals. A dollar goes a long way.

Unbelievable value on Christmas items.

I just needed a few things from this location and when I was done and about to check out, there was a line wrapped around the store with only one register opened... Once I got to the register, the guy didnt say have a good day or anything

The checkers all seem so unhappy ... They need to boost the moral in that store

This the most organized and clean Dollar Tree I have ever been in. Also the employees greeted every customer who entered the store. Great experience. I will definitely be back.

Its OK since its the only dollar store in my part of Lakeside. Its small but stock seems to stay stable. Christmas items went fast.

Its a shame your Lakeside 92040 location has no shopping carts. I was only able to spend $60 because I couldnt carry any more. As is I had to walk up 2 overflowing baskets to the register. Feel sorry for Brianna. She was the only cashier, as usual, with a line 10 people long and the only one greeting people as they came in the door. As I was leaving I told her to have a nice day and I hope she gets some help soon. Then, finally someone came from the 1st aisle to help. All the while she was just moving candy on a shelf. There is also no trash can nearby. This results in people leaving trash in the store. I was in the store for 30 minutes and Briqnna never had any help. This is sad and Typical.

Very small, was clean at least but definitely doesn’t have everything that the bigger ones have. Wouldn’t come back since they didn’t have anything I needed. Might be close to home but I’d rather drive to a bigger one that has more items.

Love this store! It can be rare finds like a bag of now and layers for a dollar or daily treasures like frozen bagels you pay 3 times as much at the regular supermarket.

Well kept shelves and a generally clean store. The color book selection was great as well as organized.

The staff at this one is amazing! Other stores I go to they act annoyed to be working and like customers annoy them, the one here has very friendly employees and has almost everything I would expect at the dollar tree.

Its the biggest Dollar tree Ive ever been to, they had everything, I loved it.

Smaller than most dollar stores but items are always new and store is always clean.

They has so many things that you need for the house or party or to eat or your car or your baby or your animals I love all the storage containers get everything here that you can eat and everything is only $1!

This Dollar Tree is smaller than the average Dollar Tree in San Diego and doesnt have a lot of the regular stuff that the average Dollar Tree does. Its also really dark inside....

This little store has a surprisingly large selection of discount items....name brands and off the cuff as well.....the staff are friendly and helpful....I stop in here once s week to stock up on my weakness...limon peanuts ....
