Just have to say If your new to archery or seasoned. Adventure Archery Lakeland is the place. I just bought my first real bow there and did not have alot of experience with the new technology. The last bow I bought was 30 years ago. Tucker was amazing between dealing with other customers he managed to answer all my questions and had me shooting multiple bows to make sure I got the right bow for me. His patience was very unexpected. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and every one.

This is the best archery shop around by far! All of the staff have been very kind, welcoming, and willing to help out in every way. Have purchased 2 bows from Jarrod and the great staff at Adventures Archery! Jarrod always willing to help setup and tune a bow! He also sets up a “fun Friday shoot” every Friday evening. Previous reviewer came in right at closing on Friday while Jarrod was setting up fun shoot. Was told to come in the next day during regular business hours and would be happy to spend time with him getting his bow all set!

Jarrod was extremely patient in helping me purchase my bow last week. He gave me several options to choose from and allowed me to shoot each bow in a totally no pressure experience. I was in there today 10-31-18 and I must say, Bryan the bow tech that was on duty today will be the only one touching my bow from this day forward. I came in with a problem of arrow flight path and he went WAY above and beyond to help me fix the issue. I was there for almost 2 hours and Bryan made me feel as if I was the most important person in his life. Awesome job! Definitely will be coming back and bringing friends

The staff is amazing and will treat you like family! Brian, Tucker and Jarrod are great bow techs and will help set up just about any bow imaginable. The Friday night fun shoots are super fun and the shop is family friendly. Target shooters and hunters are equally welcome! I’ve been shooting for about 4 months at the shop and it’s just a great place to be and I’ve learned tons about archery. The shop has a great 20 yard indoor range. Friday’s can be a little hectic as the store closes at 6: the reviewer Daryl Clark so happened to come to the store right before closing. He was politely told that the store closed at 6 and that to finish setting up his bow he could come back the following morning (Jarrod had to start setting up the range for the Friday night shoot, it was already 6:15 when Daryl was asking for his bow to be sighted 😱)

They were honest, considerate, thorough, knowledgeable, respectful, patient, and really went the extra mile to ensure I purchased the correct product (with no pressure), to instruct me on how to properly maintain and operate it and I highly recommend their services...as an expert patron or a novice. Bought a bow there last year for the GF, staff was extremely rude and did not know their products at all. If anyone knows the Hoyt ignite they know it has a very wide adjustment range on it. Their so called head tech told me it probably had ten pounds of adjustment when I asked him, and refused to look further into it. I went on the hour website and corrected him. Then I mistakenly sent a friend there to buy a bow and after being rude to him, despite buying a bow there, almost everything had to be readjusted and tuned by a shop that knows what they are doing. THEN poor guy had a warranty issue. When we went to get his bow they blew us off to the point where we got pissed and left. Came back another day and despite them saying there would be no charge, he had to pay 100 bucks to get his bow back. Horrible. I honestly dont know how they have good reviews on here

Place is nice, staff is friendly. However, had a very young bow technician help install a new arrow rest with the purchase of a dozen carbon arrows. At first I was very hesitant, only because of past incidents with inexperience help. Today I picked up my bow, shot four times, lost all inserts with the field points and tighten arrow rest. Not disappointed I went to the store, as I support all small businesses.

Great staff. Was awesome being able to work my way up from 5-20 yards being the first time Ive shot in 10+ years and the first time my fiancé has ever shot a bow. Would go here again. Some arrows were a little broken but staff happy to get replacements

Brought my bow here to be restrung. was not returned my string stop end up having to go back up to retrieve it. after a couple of days of using my bow, my peep became all messed up. luckily there tech was out sick so took my bow to bartow. The guy in bartow fixed my peep issue and also noticed my dloop was getting twisted and wasnt tied in properly. also sight was set way to high.

Service wasn’t good. Took longer than expected and couldn’t call to let me know. When I called to ask, they said they were sent the wrong string. So I waited another 2 weeks and had to call again. Said I was coming to pick it up and to not worry about it and all of a sudden it could be done in 20 minutes. Wouldn’t waste your time here.

A well supplied archery store, very helpful and knowledgeable staff. They are skillful with repairs and advice on new and used equipment. I am on my third bow through them and they have equipped my two boys with Mission Menace bows and my wife with a Matthews bow. Their indoor range is a great resource for rainy days. Well done guys! I’ve been shooting most of life and a good bow shop is hard to find! Have purchased my last four bows from Adventure and use Lakeland store for all my bow needs. Jered Is awesome to work with and very knowledgeable about all things archery. My wife recently started shooting and Jered has been instrumental in helping her work through the techniques. I was looking for a Mission Ballistic bow and searched all the local retailers for availability. Southern Archery had two in stock and invited me to test shoot them.They answered all my questions honestly, saying I dont know on several occasions rather than tell me what they thought I wanted to hear.I returned on a second trip to purchase the bow, and they had it ready and set up to my specs. They paper tuned it, set the peep, adjusted the poundage and gave me several bonus items that I didnt expect. They treated me like a valued customer and made me feel like they appreciated my business.I would highly recommend this shop and will return to them in the future. Great service and quick knowledgeable personnel

My husband and I went here on a date in the middle of the day and had a great time. The staff helped us novice archers get set up for an hour or shooting on their range. Fun outing.

My wife and I were looking to broaden our knowledge of the bow and get into archery. The staff was very friendly, let me wife try each different type of bow and she even shot their wall. Lastly, my wife had a bit of a fear of elitism that was have experienced in the previous years at gun stores. So for your professionalism, I thank you, Terry and Nathan.

I started going here when they opened. I enjoyed their range and their staff, but when it comes to them setting up a bow, I have had problems personally and had friends who have said that they take way too long to finish a project. The last time I went, the floors were disgusting and a staff member was rude. Its sad because theres not a lot of places like this for my kids to enjoy and build on their archery skills. This place has great potential to make a difference for the young hunters growing up and learning. I just hope they get their act together.
