Every time I walk into this place I am greeted cordially. I get expert advice and a good price. I wish there were more mom-and-pop businesses like this for me to support locally. Told the owner what I needed and he got me exactly what I wanted for what I considered to be an extremely fair price and if I need anything else for my girlfriends pool and know where Ill be going, and it wont be the big box stores that didnt have time to help me. 👍

We thought we had found a local business to support, our first encounter was good with the owner Wendy, we purchased a hopper type pool vacuum as well as a few other items, after messing with it for a bit and not getting it to work we called to scheduled a lesson for pool school. Wendy said she would look at her schedule and call back with a date, after several days we called again. Wendy was busy and Miguel answered, he did not listen, has no costumer service skills and continued to talk over me, I then hung up as I was getting no where. He then called my husband, who works from home and started out the conversation with, some lady called and.... my husband said yes that is my wife and I was right there and said yes I am here. He then proceeded to talk over my husband as well, not answering the question because he did not stop talking to make his point so he could answer, he kept repeating the same thing that did not answer the question. Several times he talked over my husband just as he did to me. He informed us that because we had put the vacuum in the water we could not return it, we could exchange it, he also said they often do not work and we would be surprised how often they did not work. Why would you tell a costumer that you sell a product that often doesnt work, that says a lot about how you do business. When we purchased it we were not told they often do not work, as we would have not bought it. Sad that they would sell a product that often does not work. He then informed us the call was being recorded, I said that is great and we would like a recording copy. We shall see if he follows thought with getting us a recording, he said he wrote a note for the owner Wendy about the recording and at the very least I hope he as an employee has to listen to it as to how not to talk to people if they want good costumer service. There is a lot he could learn from both calls. He also informed us that Wendy is extremely busy and cannot just drop everything to help us, no one is asking that she drop everything, we Do expect her to keep her word and call back, she said she would look at her calendar and get back to us. If it takes you several days to look at your calendar that is a big issue, and if you are that busy then you call and tell us you are not able to help us at this time, possible recommend someone who is able to help. That is what a professional does, they are honest about what they can and cannot handle. What is amazing is that he threw his boss, the owner under the bus several times, he also informed us that he should not have to take a black eye because of something she told us. WOW thats someone I would want to hire on my staff. What did he think he was doing there if not to work through the business issues. I hope she listens to the recording, he needs some training. I can say he was consistent in talking over both me and my husband. Bottom line we have just moved here and our goal is always to support small businesses, we will not be using them (My Pool Place) again and have already found another place, that will be out to do a Pool School. Very sad as they have lost out on a lot of business, our next purchase is a hot tub, and we will not recommend them on any of the sites we are on nor to anyone we meet. Just saw in another review Miguel treated another costumer the same, rude and disrespectful, I see a pattern

Im disappointed. Our Property Management Company was given My Pool Place information and referred us to them to use for Pool Service and the owner was pretty nice and had been helpful, but when I called to check on a part that was back ordered the associate that answered the phone was incredibly rude to me (Miguel) was his name. And I feel that in this business dealing with people it is very important to be kind and understanding. We ALL have a job to do everyday and we all try our best to work around the outside obstacles but kindness is the only way and he just isnt a good asset to this company.

Even though they it was closing time they let me in and helped me work a solution to my problem. Great people! After todays experience, it looks like Ive found a new pool supply place.

Stop by to get some quotes, the store was clean and very organized. Wendy is simply the best! Her personality is amazing. She was very knowledgeable and even though she was alone in the store, she was cordial and seemed happy to assist. I was on my lunch break & couldnt stay long. Wendy took my info and emailed me the quotes within a few hours.
