I came to get my rings cleaned and inspected for the 6 month inspection that’s required to keep the warranty plan active. Well they can’t “find” one of the rings I purchased, on my or my husband’s account. The last time I brought it in for inspection, I guess they couldn’t find it on my account so they just took a picture of it & added it on my profile (which I wasn’t told about then) Well I was told yesterday I need to bring in the receipt (I purchased it in 2019, I don’t have it anymore) so they could add it to my account. She even said when they switched systems some items weren’t transferred over & also sometimes when it’s busy in the store people don’t do things the right way & update the accounts like they’re supposed to. If I ever need it repaired in the future I’d have to pay out of pocket now bc they can’t locate it on my account. That’s crazy, how is a ring I purchased, also with my kay jewelers credit card not found on my account! She also told me they need the item number bc they don’t make it anymore, I asked so it’s not on your website either, she said no. I come home and find it on their website later. She was trying to say anything to get me out of the store. We’ve spent $10k-$15k since we’ve been cardholders since 2017, so really disappointed and won’t buy from Kay’s again.

Had to get an engagement ring resized and when we got it back 2 1/2 weeks later it was too small and now we just have to wait again for another 2 weeks. Wouldn’t recommend this store at all.

This place has no manners! Nor any consideration I purchased a watch I got the ultimate plan they screwed me they sent the watch out they said it was going to take 12 weeks it was back in a week and it looked exactly the same what a joke

Upon entering I had no idea what to expect. At the time I Very much wanted to buy a gift for my little sister who was leaving to go on a new venture far from me. I didnt know what to do to make a memory that would last. Then I went to Kays to check it out. I was met by KAREN a worker at the establishment. Let me tell you something this woman FARRRR EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS!!!!! She was so patient and found me the perfect pair of earrings called inseparable bond. I gave them to my sister and Ive never seen that girl cry she was so shocked so surprised. It was so worth it and I will do go back next time. See KAREN she has a heart for the people. 😇

Carmen is the nicest and most professional person I’ve encountered in a long time. She went above and beyond to make things right when l kept losing a diamond from my ring that is only a few months old. She replaced it with a new one without me having to ask or be pushy. Very nice people.

I am not giving a 1 on this review a flat 0 but couldn’t write a review without giving a 1. I went in this location 98 North in Lakeland and the store manager Tim Wheeler was very unprofessional. I am married and while I was looking at several pieces of jewelry he kept making advances towards me. It made me feel very uncomfortable. I left the store immediately after it continued for 10 mins. Tim is VERY unprofessional.

Carmon and Miss Sue took great care of us while we were shopping for our wedding bands. Kay was our first stop in the search, and after visiting the other stores we had in mind, we knew we had to come back to them. The staff was so sweet, and they did everything they could to get us something we loved in our price range...no compromising needed! I HIGHLY recommend visiting if youre looking for jewelry!

The customer service leaves something to be desired, but the jewelry they have is very nice.During major holidays (Christmas, Mothers Day, Valentines Day) they always have really good sales and typically have specific jewelry or jewelry sets for a really good price. Their display cases are almost always full and look very neat and organized. It is easy to see everything that they have and they are typically willing to show you anything you want to see out of the case. Sometimes you will come across someone who seems annoyed that you are asking to see something.

Asked about having some look at my ring and check the authenticity of it they said sure and when I got there had a nice rude lady push me away and tell me no when I told her that I called and talked to someone named Tom she said well you can wait for him ... wow Kay’s where shopping a a pleasure

My experience started off great! I found a ring that I liked, so I asked for more information about upcoming sales. The sales woman, I believe her name was Renae, told me about the upcoming holiday sales and informed me that I could sign up to receive coupons in the mail that I could combine with the sales.... so I signed up.... THREE WEEKS LATER I RECEIVE A CREDIT CARD IN THE MAIL!!! NO COUPONS!!! She never mentioned a card, it would’ve been an immediate no.(and why would I need a card to buy my own ring?) My fiancé and are are trying to purchase a home... MY SCORE DROPPED 33 POINTS! I am EXTREMELY UNHAPPY, and they’ve lost our business. Why be dishonest and ruin a positive experience? But it’s definitely a lesson learned for me.

Went to look for wedding bands. Their selection wasn’t bad. However, the woman we worked with was disengaged and very quiet. Plus, her outfit was quite revealing up top. My fiancé and I found that rather unprofessional. We came to look at wedding bands, not breasts.Went across the room to Zales and had a wonderful experience there. I’m sure Kay is a great diamond store but they did not make it happen this time.

Very inappropriate customer service. Walked in looking for seasonal work to gain experience and mentoring in the field of the jewelry industry. The manager and assistant manager or whoever the other person was that wasnt formally introduced at all must have been carrying on very important yet hilarious conversation, It seemed as if I was interrupting their conversation. Who would want to work with rude disrespectful people like that?Who would want to buy such a important and meaningful item from people like that?After receiving absolutely no information bysides go on our website to learn more about Kay and apply there I went to Zales and had a completely different experience even though they where not looking to hire employees for seasonal employment the assist manager and employees where polite and just amazing to talk to, and provided me with a better understanding of what working in a jewelry store was like. Their selection was far more vast than Kay.• I am not employed by Zales or did not have a bias opinion on eaither before walking into each store today.

Not too friendly. Went to get a battery replacement for my watch. I already knew from calling prior they would need to ship it off. The rep didnt know the price but told me to go to Sears since they can do it right there. Um my watch was purchased here so why would I go to Sears?

I got my wedding ring set there and when I had it sent out to be sized my 3 diamonds came back broken, and only 2 weeks away from the wedding, I couldnt send it back out to get fixed, but they promised me a brand new ring, that was to get there 3 days before my wedding. Well I got an email saying my ring was ready and when I went to get it the girls there said there wasnt another ring, the ring was no longer made. Well I finally went back to send it out for new diamonds to be put in it, I was promised it back in 14 days. It has been 31 days now and they are still making excuses why my ring isnt back.

I would rate it minus 100 .Very poor customer service. The lady that sold us forever us rings lied right to our face about sizing a ring and extended warranty.Very unprofessional.
