ADT partners with Safe Streets to install these accounts, which to me is crazy. When I call ADT for help they have to transfer me to Safe Streets. Well to make this short. I dont like the services receives from ADT or Safe Streets. I now find out I am under contract for 3 years. Very mind blowing my cameras roam all the time, my garage door is now malfunctioning and to call someone out to fix it they charge me $30-$35 dollars. So I called to cancel because the performance of the system is poor, they tell me that I cant cancel because of this contract I was never aware of for 3 years and it would cost me $1200 dollars to cancel. NO WAY! They are deceiving and manipulating the public. I HATE I ever gave the door to door sales person my time. I thought I was getting something valuable and it turned out to be less than expected.

My experience is a lot like the rest, I thought I have a service contract to take care of equipment issues, they charged me 175.00 to reboot my cameras due to a router change. I get it and tried to reboot the cameras myself with the help of ADT telephone tech. she recommended sending out a tech.the only reason we couldnt reboot my cameras is the software provided to me did not match the cameras that were installed, other wise I would have been able to fix this myself.If there is a problem in the future I still will not be able to repair myself. ADT tells me that if in 3 months they will repair with out charge.What is the service contract for?I am trying to work thru this with ADT, I will post the out come when it happens. a supervisor will get back to me in 24 to 48 hours.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I don’t even want to type out the experience I’ve had just know I will tell everyone I know to steer clear! There are too many options out to deal with this company.

Terrible customer svc I cancel my svc 1 month ago and this company take payment from my account without tell me anything when I call they says I have to pay because I cancel on the 18 and they have to run the payment on the 15 for three days they take my money this is not about the money is about the action nobody says anything about it they employees dont care really poor customer svc look like the company needs money and they have to take it!!! Never again.call this company I feel sad I think it was a good company buy i see it is not

Negative Stars no one should ever get ADT their equipment is subpar and doesn’t compare to latest technology. They say it’s cellular but has to use your internet. Warning Do NOT sign yo for ADT you will regret all the money they charge which is A lot for shotty subpar equipment. You can get better equipment from any Walmart or online.

Anthony the rep that came out was not only Professional but he was kind, sweet,understanding,respectful and prompt which is the most important thing to me with or busy life style. Anthony broke everything down step-by-step it was great because you can tell anybody what something is and what it does but it doesnt mean they understand if they dont know what it is, theyve never dealt with anything like this theyre not really gonna understand and he broke it down to where I was able to understand what the product Does To the point that now my Uncle is thinking about adding the system to his house I would have never been able to do that if Anthony did not explain it as In depth and thorough as he did.And then even after His job was done he told me if I needed help with the system to call him even though we have a phone number to a representative who can help us with any technical support he still offered to help us To be fully honest with you my entire family was very satisfied with hhave himow great Anthony was.Adt is lucky to have him

Never have I paid so much for so little. They lock you into contracts, in no way hold up their end of the bargain, and can’t be bothered to care: we signed up for their latest equipment package but ADT vendor installed the older equipment; found this out three months later when they couldn’t provide us the updated alarm panel promised because it wasn’t compatible with the old equipment and our newly purchased Ring cameras wouldn’t work with alarm equipment as ADT promised. They also overcharged us for monitoring despite our monthly phone calls to rectify this, thereby violating their end of contract, and never did provide the promised USAA discount for monitoring (though they did on the equipment- what?!). When contacted about these and numerous other functionality issues (including malfunctioning sensors they repeatedly sent tech outs for to no avail), ADT blamed everything on their third-party vendors, said only ADT could fix the issues yet gave various excuses they couldn’t, and passed us around to different agents and departments. More than once during these hours-long phone calls, the lines mysteriously disconnected. ADT also promised calls back from supervisors we never received. When determined to end our monitoring contract early just to be done with them and the overbilling, a rep said they’d waive the remaining balance but only if we let them nullify the functionality of the equipment we’d purchased outright from them for thousands just months before. Illegal much? Can’t warn others strongly enough against ever using this company!

All I asked for was two outdoor cameras. The installer told me, Just hang on, we have to get this indoor sensors on first then well talk about the outdoor cameras. After he put in what I DIDNT want, he told me he wasnt going to put outside cameras for me because I could get them cheaper at Best Buy. The next thing I know he was gone. I called the office the next morning and a woman told me that was not a problem she would have someone stop by and pick up the equipment and she would refund my money which was $200.00. I waited a week and no one stopped by. I called again and the next person I talked to said oh no, we dont do that, long story short, she told me I was stuck with it. I told her I wasnt going to pay for it then. She said oh but you will or it will go into collection! Im stuck with it for 2years, BUT, Im NOT GOING TO PAY FOR IT! I dont recommend them at all. Just get a Ring . Youll be better off, not ripped off.

After being with you for how many years and contracts.. Why after I change my service you can match the new one, despite me asking months earlier. AND who has the audacity to take via electronic withdrawal $700 of the remaining balance of the cobtract, after i give my 30 day notice. After i paid the bill and AFTER the services have ended. Such poor people services, and your best resolution for me being negative and unable to pay bills is a 3-5 day business days expedite. You surely took the money within a day. And you recieved the money for the balance well before you put in for the withdrawal on my account. Everyone please understand.. I paid my ADT BALANCE AND THEY STILL ROBBED ME OF MY MONEY AND TOLD ME TO WAIT FOR THE REFUND. Really sad that you guys have treated me like a customer that didnt give you a few years and was dilligent in paying. Save yourself the heartache, try your own security service or install on your own. You are paying for a hyped up name that i honestly feel screwed by and has left a bad taste in my mouth

These reps do not take no for an answer. For a company trying to sell security service, its pretty uncomfortable when reps come to my house 4 times and will not leave after being asked multiple times! Police will be called if this soliciting happens again!

ADT alarm started blaring at 2:26 am the glass break monitor mustve been set off, I called the ADT number, a slurring young man picked up. He tried to help but couldnt when I told him the police arrived, the young man hung up on me. I called ADT again, the young man gave me some codes to input that werent the same pattern as the spaces on the touchpad. The ADT phone person gave me 5 numbers to input, whereas there are only 4 spaces on the touchpad. I asked to speak with another person, another man came on the phone to tell me the same as the first.The entire 20 minutes or so the alarm is going loudly, three police cars are outside, and ADT personnel on the phone tell me to remove the battery, which is on the back of the touchscreen; I had to cut the wire to remove the keypad from the wall, then cut the battery wire to disengage ADTs battery.I call ADT this morning as my first call and ADT Jacksonville says they wont cover the cost to send out an ADT truck to fix this.The answer is to reinstall a new ADT system for me, and forEVERYBODYs safety, please please train ADT personnel the ways to disengage the alarm when a 12-year ADT customer calls with issues.

Please dont ever come back to my home at 8:15pm and saying my home is going to be more likely broken in to. Good bye

If I could but 0 starts I would I have been nothing but lied to absolutely just trying to get the most money out of you !!! I try to help myself and my family have a safe piece of mind in the crazy world yet stressing about home much ADT is trying to con us out of money . It’s a sad sad shame ! Never again will I use ADT currently trying to get out of my 3 year !!! Contract .

TERRIBLE customer service relations. We were lied to multiple times and feel this company is just out to make money. GO WITH A DIFFERENT HOME SECURITY COMPANY!!!!! PLEASE~~!!!!

The customer service is unbelievable. I am on hold for over 25 minutes. What does that say. If this is # 1 in the country.

I wouldn’t even give them 1 star. Defenders INC and ADT. The biggest scam. DO NOT TRUST DEFENDERS. AND ADT IS ROGUE. DO NOT SOEND YOUR MONEY WITH THEM
