I get around in an electric wheelchair while shopping. Some aisles were too narrow for my chair. A young woman was working on filling the magazine racks, and saw me trying to find what I was looking for, for several minutes. She never once asked if she cold help me. Another worker was very helpful in searching for a specific publisher, but they did not carry them, Squadron/Signal publications.

This BAM is in a wonderful part of town. The employees are always helpful in finding the right books. The store is very well organized and often quiet despite a consist crowd of people. The book prices are more than reasonable. Beyond just having the usual BAM items, they also have a great frozen yogurt shop inside.

Look at this book isnt it neat? I must make this collection complete!!No I have not read it yet, but from looking at the covers by themselves the art work is beautiful. I am excited to see a new twist on these wonderful Disney classics.

Best book store around. Digital is fun and all but it is still nice to go in a store and physically handle and read a book. Also they have toys for kids and collectors.

Great place to find new books, prices for most books will range in $12-$17. They have a great selection and are always helpful if you are looking for something specific. Personally I got myself Day Trading 101. If you dont have the money to buy the books you want, take a photo and when you do have the money look for that book again! There is also a yogurt place inside the store but I havent tried it. Its not a library so they dont have seats to read any of the books, youll have to stand while you read the first few pages to see if you like it.

Sadly, every time I go to look for a book I saw in a review, they never have it in store. Sure they can order for you but I could do that myself at home. I miss the larger store they used to be and having quiet place to review a book. Biggest complaint is that they push the magazine sale with every single customer and their membership. Be nice NOT to do that when there is a very long line.

Its a book store not much to say. Wife found her a book and I found one I was looking for. The Legend Of Zelda Encyclopedia. Even better it was on sale. Great book for Zelda fans. Goes all the way back to the beginning. The one I really wanted I wasnt paying $100 for when I can get it online for $55-60 (Zelda : Breath of the wild re-creating a champion heros edition)

I had my first experience ordering online here. When I got in store the new cashier pressed the wrong button while I was picking up my order. It now said I had not paid for my purchase while my bank had already charged me and I had used a gift card. They tried their hardest to solve the situation of me, all the employees were very apologetic and kind. They were not able to fix the issue so I purchased my books again. The staff was sweet enough to give me a discount. My gift card was refunded and it will take my bank a few more day to refund me but all turned out well :))I forgot their names but it was an older gentleman and younger girl with reddish hair. Literally so sweet. I’m coming back to pick up more book soon! I know I will be taken care of no matter what happens haha

Its great to still be able to go into a bookstore. This one has some places to sit, and theres much to see and browse. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was good organization, so it was easy to find different books on different topics, and the newest bestsellers. It is definitely a fun place to wander around. And, being in a physical location, youre actually moving to and fro rather than just clicking on a mouse. :-)

I go for the tabletop selection. It always has great options. A little more expensive then a dedicated tabletop store but BAM might be more convenient location. They have great selections like Calico, Exit, of course Catan and lots of the classics as well.

For me, this place is pretty handy on searching for books + manga that I want. and also sometimes Ill find books that I wasnt really there to get, just because they looked interesting. :)This place has a lot of books! Has the following too:Manga, calendar notebooks, sketchbooks, notebooks, plushies, bookmarks, candy, satisfying toys (imo), toys in general, etc.Another thing, this place is LGBTQ+ supportive! So, you can find your fair share of LGBTQ+ books here. ^^Id definitely recommend coming here for books + manga! (and if you cant find the book your looking for, then ask the employees! People who work here are very helpful. They go above and beyond to help you find a book or order it. The club is a good deal too for discounts. I love the unique gifts they offer and the frozen yogurt. I forgot to take pictures, but did take one of some of my fav writers to show my friend. I recommend both of those. :) Most of all the book store!

Didnt appreciate the associate following myself and my service animal. Im not confrontational, especially when Im in public because Im private....Not going to this location if any, again.

Not a very comfortable bookstore. No chairs to sit and no coffee shop.This one had an ice cream shop.One in Daveport is much better.

Well for bookstore how much better could you get they have a ice cream shop inside they are very helpful and if you are going to get a book for a gift or something that you want to start reading immediately then I would say definitely its a very good store. On the other hand there is one complaint When you check out it takes a long time because the cashier keeps trying to sell her body something like a magazine subscription? So some kind of membership or something in one cashier goes through the same spill with every single customer in fact when you go online you hear him say this so many times that the 1st time Ive ever bought something that store I could easily say all the things back to him Yes I memorised his script with one time that I wait in that line so its understandable that there trying to Its understandable that they are going to try to sell you something but they need a short in their pitch.

The experience is always the best part of books a million. However, I had to take one star off because searching for books in stock on the tablets is not user friendly. The tablet went blank white when I searched for a book. Besides that the customer service was fantastic.

Ted is an amazing employee! Smart and knows how to make a trip to the bookstore better than just a trip to the bookstore. Hire all of the Teds!

The kind older gentleman who helped me was incredibly informative and knowledgeable about the books I was looking for. Seemed to be a very great working environment and the 4 staff members I came across were very kind as well.

This was a crazy time to go to Book A Million. I went a couple days before Christmas. It was holiday shopping like crazy! The kids area was surprisingly well organized still at the end of the day. The selection was good and I found what I needed for the most part. The line to check out was insane! There were only 2 registers open but you cant blame the employees for that just the scheduling. They were working as fast as possible and still had great attitudes!

Love the layout of this location! It makes sense and the tables highlight whats trending now.

Visited in search of a Manga book, however, they didnt have on stock. Staff assisted and recommended to purchase online. We ended up renewing our membership. Long line to checkout but they provided great customer service.

I am an avid reader, so Books-A-Million is one of my all time favorite places to go.The staff is always very helpful and friendly and they make it such a great experience!

Came here mainly due to its proximity to the Thai restaurant in the shopping district. The store is super clean and well organized and the employees were super helpful and respectful.

Having lost the BAM in Sebring, it was an utter delight to be in a book store again.The staff was helpful, friendly, and made certain I received my teacher discount on my purchases.They even said they were looking forward to seeing me soon/again.🌈🤗🌻🐞🦋

Nice bookstore. Naturally I gravitate to the bargain area to get more for my money. I only wish the cashiers would stop with pushing their membership card on you. Its ok to ask the customer but if they say no thanks dont keep asking. Same with the free magazines. Overall a nice, clean, well stocked store.

Great selection, even in lower priced fiction where I tend to shop. They are much less aggressive with selling their discount membership and respect your wishes when you say no thank you

Great products and displays, but was experiencing real back discomfort and didnt want to take up a table in their yogurt area since not eating, found corner away from everyone to squat for moment and rest back. Curt female employee told me I needed to move due to COVID-19. I had a mask and was away from foot traffic. Wasnt happy.

Didnt have my book. Cheaper to order on line. Still a nice bookstore to have.

Books a Million is such a classy place to visit. Plus, its books, which are one of my favorite things. I was happy to find series books for children today. It was exactly what I was looking for as a gift.

I love this store! I was looking for some Tpn manga, I got tbhk manga, keychains, plushies, figurines, mha manga, aot and lots more! (Costs a lot :/) all though, I love the workers there. Great store! Keep it up.

They need to have a free membership system, and better sales on book. They dont even offer military discount. Other than that, my visit today went well.

Cashiers sell BAM discount and spend lots of time explaining the program. I stood patiently for a while and watched another staff member unloading a box at a sloths pace at another register. She ignored me until the co-worker suggested that she should attend to me and the other customers. Really appreciate good staff but this girl was seriously out of touch with her environment.

This has been one of my favorite bookstores I have been to in years, and Im a nerd.. but can always count on staff that is extremely helpful find your book in a sea of great deals and full side items.. a definite go to for off the wall pop culture gifts

Best big book store in Lakeland! (and only) I used to work there. I got a job there because I liked the place so much! A man named Ted works there and is the funniest guy I have ever met! Many nice and friendly people work there and will help you find what you need.

Books-A-Million is clean and so nice! They have amazing selection! Only drawback is sometimes the customer check out line get backed up and it takes forever to check out. I prefer to purchase my books from them to support them, but last time I needed up leaving and ordering the books online because I didnt have 20 minutes to wait in line. Today the line was better so I was able to buy the books there. Again...I love Books-A-Million!

This books-a-million has great employees that all seem to love their jobs. They are incredibly helpful and arent pushy with their offers. In particular their are two outstanding employees, an elder gentleman with a calming voice and a lady who does cosplay that is super nice and cheerful.

My daughter and I love reading. The ladies were extremely helpful when we visited. I was looking for Ariel socks and they went in the back to find me some. They also suggested great books! Thanks ladies!!

Very clean and well organized. Its just feels better to go to an actual book store, feel the books, read a page or two. You cant get that online. Bargain section has some great selections as well.

Love going here every time I get a chance to go to the Lakeside Village. This place has so many different things from stationary kits to bobble heads and pillows. There is also a frozen yogurt shop in the same store which is another reason to enter. The book selection is awesome and they have a lot of pop culture collectables.

Not one book or magazine about or involving auto racing. Not even Formula One..

The staff was super helpful. The store itself was super hot. Like the ac wasnt working but otherwise very clean.
