Opted to give my 2001 Dakota a face lift vice dropping a fortune on a new truck. I talked with 5 Lakeland paint/body locations. Maaco [George Jenkins Blvd] shops Manager Dave gave me the most honest up front estimate. His expertise helped me refine my personal color ideas down to the Look I wanted. I was pleasantly surprised when I received a call just prior to paint verifying my desires. I am pleased beyond expectations. Dave and Erik provided great service and I would highly recommend this shop. I found Dave to be considerate and thoughtful in his explanations of services offered and rendered. Erik was helpful and was a joy to work with in a timely manner in repairing my car. This shop is a gem and the team is authentic and will always give the best advice for the customer. I have worked with many shops and this is among the best.

Dave and Erik are great! Dave helped me when I was getting estimates from everyone in Lakeland to get the best option for my budget. He did just that! He was able to provide me with the most work within my budget. Dave says his hobby is colors and he was extremely helpful when I could not decide on the colors for my paint. I recommend them for any job. Note: Do not expect you can get good work when paying for the cheapest option! Paint is expensive!

We got a estimate on painting and other miscellaneous work on our Cadillac which seemed reasonable. So after speaking with Dave, the manager, we brought our car in. Dave helped us decide on the new color and some other services offered here. Through out the entire process we were kept informed of anything that affected the price. Most garages will take advantage of you. Not this place. When we went to pick our car up we were very happy with all the work that was done. Our car looks brand new. Dave and his team were fantastic. We will continue to take our cars there. We own The Lakeland Air Conditioning Company and will continue to bring the company vehicles there. We will also send our family and friends there as well. Many thanks for a job well done.

4 months... and it already cracked. Didnt look like Primer was used either because you can clearly see my plastic and its coming off like snowflakes. I thought Maaco warranty these kind of stuff but apparently they dont. I asked and they denied it. Didnt even give me a reason on why they denied it either. Paint suppose to last up to about a few years and my lasted for a few months. Took them 2 weeks to paint my bumper too... and here we are. Unsatisfied. The Paint didnt even match with my car neither, They told me weather plays a part on changing the colors... But looks to me they are totally different colors

They were straight to the point about what they were doing. Chose a beautiful color to repaint the whole car and said it would be done in 4 days and it was !!! I appreciate a business that sticks to their word.

I took my lower bumper piece to them to get it painted. The color was way off and the paint had so many bubbles in it. It doesnt even match areas that werent exposed to the sun so I dont believe the cars weathering plays a role.

Shop Foreman Erik Nunez is a really great person, very friendly and knowledgeable. Him and his team at maaco really do go above and beyond to help their clients visions, dreams and or repairs come true. I was skeptical at first about going to maaco since previous experiences at other maaco shops weren’t good but I do have to say this shop has truly impressed me. Not everything in life is going to be perfect but they did their best to come close and I’m satisfied with the outcome. Roger is one of thee best employees they can have. He truly is a very well professional in his line of work. He went above and beyond to do some extra work for me that took some of his time but the outcome was perfect. I’m satisfied. Dave is another great fellow he is the Manager and he truly did help me out and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I appreciate all their effort. I definitely recommend this shop it has 5 stars for a reason and I can now see why.

I have a 2011 Honda Odyssey. It needed a fresh coat of paint to prevent future rust and issues. (It was just time to get it done.) Dave was very straightforward with me, gave me a great deal, and the paint job looks great. I would highly recommend them to others and for what its worth I am giving them my other car to work on soon. Great job guys.

Dropped off the 87 and the paint came out nice but a replacement door still showed deep scratches from poor prep work and they didnt replace the door lock.Maaco repainted the door and it looks amazing. Unfortunately, the door lock still hasnt been replaced and now the window doesnt go up and down on that door. WTH? Gotta make another return trip. A plus is there is no excessive over spray. Moldings, mirrors, windows and trim looks good with no issues.

Very unprofessional, the manager likes to argue and state that “people just want things for free”. The paint job that was performed was awful and stated that things were already on the vehicle when their shop damaged it. Will never do business here again and never recommend to anyone.

This location does a great job and there is no giving you the run around, you get a options, and depending on your budget and expectations depends what option you will get. Personally want to thank Dave for not giving any BS, was straight to the point, and in today’s society I appreciate that. Earned a customer for life. Thanks guys!

They repainted my White Silverado. Very poor workmanship. Paid 2300 for a hazy orange peel paint job. Something you’d expect from econo for 500. They didn’t even finish the roof of truck. It just had one coat of flat orange peel junk whatever they use. Was told it was the best package. Overspray everywhere. And I mean everywhere. Emblem lettering looks like a child put it on. They used glue which was very visible around every letter on door panels. All the good reviews are fake do not fool for it like I did. It’s sad you can’t find honorable service anywhere anymore. Very disappointed. My truck looked better before I sent it to these guys

Walked in and was greeted by some of the kindest and knowledgeable staff. Guided me to make the best choice without steering me towards any of the expensive stuff. Then they were able to take my truck that looked like it was on its last days and breathe life into it again.Thank you guys again for the awesome work!

When i saw my car I was very pleased.

The shop manager is very unprofessional. I went in with a warranty claim. The shop manager would only give quick responses to my questions and only answer one of the multiple questions I had via email. He requested me to come into the shop. I did go in only for him to tell me that he still had to order the part and would call me. Wasted my time. I choose to not use Maaco solely on the attitude of the shop manager.

Worst experience! Service manager Dave was completely unprofessional! Yelled at me over the phone because of misunderstanding, and told me that Maaco isn’t able to handle my expectations. I asked them to call me when my car came in, and they didn’t. 20 hours later I called and asked about any information. He said I called the warranty company, I said, but I needed to speak to you first. He said, maybe you’re used the service at Mercedes where they would walk you to your car or bring your groceries to you, but we don’t do that at Maacos. I don’t have a Mercedes. He just wanted to belittle me over the phone. Told me that I was doing the whole process backwards and it was my fault it was getting done correctly. I’m done arguing with you, he told me. I didn’t even know we were “arguing”. I called customer service, which only made me talk to someone from that location again, saying we’re not gonna be able to take care of you and we’re gonna send your car to another non-Maacos body shop. I said, so guys aren’t gonna do my hood work, that’s the main reason I brought to the body shop in the first place, No, we’re not gonna be able to service to your car. They pretty much refused service to me because Dave was frustrated. Now my car is just sitting there and I have to pay for another tow, to another shop. Pay for a rental, because at this rate I will never get my car in time. I’ve already missed 2 days of work. Sighs 😪 Ithought Maacos was the best choice.

Husband had repairs and paint job done to his truck, work was excellent, they had it done and ready in no time! no complaints here. Dave is great, he just thinks hes funny but his jokes are lame 😉 🤫, Im kidding, but he seriously is a great employee, very charismatic and straightforward. Truck was done about 2 months ago and still looks beautiful! We are very pleased.

I took my truck to Maaco after totaling it and by the time they were finished you would’ve never known it had been wrecked. Complete color change as well and unbelievably good costumer service from Dave and Caleb. My vehicle was hit from behind, I immediately looked for a repair shop that could fix the damage. I remembered Maaco from when i was younger, and knew this was where I wanted to bring my vehicle to be fixed. From the first day I walked in Caleb made me feel welcome and Dave took care of everything from dealing with the other guys insurance, to getting me a rental. Dave handled all the details for me so I didnt have to. It took 2 weeks for the damage to be repaired (dealing with insurance companies that dont want to pay takes time). I was informed every step of the way what was going on with my vehicle and never worried about anything!Roger,Eric and Brian took care of fixing my car and painting it and it looks AMAZING!! I have nothing but great things to say about everyone there and how they took care of me and my car. For any repairs I need or painting I need in the future this is the only place I will go. If I could give them 10 stars I would !

My pant job had a bunch of trash in it spots where the gun was how to close spots where the paint was missing I paid for the side of the bed panel to be replaced they charged me for they did not do it the guys name is Dave It is a total rip off in Lakeland you refuse to give me my money back he made me sign paperwork where they would not want to my paint they would not fix nothing on it if I didnt pay him the money and he also told me that he would store my truck and charge me storage be and put a lien on my truck and I wish I could post pictures total rip off my in sid of my truck has bondo dust fut prints pant in the in sid seet I cald a attorney the contact them and if they due anny work no matter if it is right or not if they get up set they can refuse to make it right and if you dont pay they put a lean on your vehicle charge u 135$a day and to it reaches the value of your car and they keep it I wish I could show every body what all most 3000$ they made me pay I hailey rekamend you due your research

I had my 2009 Rav4 painted at Maaco and what sold me was when Dave said to me that this shop is a collision center with a Maaco sign on it . This my friend is true this facility can really do some amazing work .I cant believe how many people came up to me and love how my Rav4 looks - This Shop is Amazing !!!!

Dave the manager and his team did an amazing job with my 2008 Nissan Titan! Although they ran into some hiccups along the way, Dave was very patient with me and went out of his way more than once to make sure I was happy! for the money and the outcome of my truck, it can’t be beat! Iv’e had people ask me hey is that a new truck? I am 100% satisfied and would highly recommend!

Was told to drop off my car on a Monday and was told be ready by wed. Wed got here no call, thurs and friday no call I had to call them. Dave the manager finally explained that 2 staff members are out and the air went out so they fell behind. I understand that but keep your customers informed instead of holding their car for a week either no phone call. If I didnt call to keep checking on my car it would still be sitting. They did an awesome job but customer service sucks and didnt get a discount or anything

I have been wanting to paint my rig for years but haven’t done it because the price of changing the color of a car is cost prohibitive.Dave explained before entering into an agreement to paint my car that Maaco is not a Show Room Quality Restoration Shop. But, my car turned out beautiful! It’s not perfect, but I love it!This shop is honest and provides top of the line service!

I had this truck previously painted at the maaco in Sarasota/Bradenton and they did a fine job on the top color but not on the bottom color it had to have been bad preparation to the bottom because the paint that the Sarasota/Bradenton Maaco put on was peeling off on the bottom and looked bad and they didn’t want to fix it under the warranty that states on the repair order that the warranty covers peeling and cracking (THE PEELING PICTURE IS NOT THE LAKELAND MAACO!!) well I didn’t want that maaco to touch my truck again (Customer service was terrible and that wasn’t the only thing bad about the paint job) so that’s when I called Dave and the Lakeland Maaco team and I am very pleased with the work they did painting the bottom of my truck and doing it right the first time, how it should have been done originally! Dave was upfront and told me what it’s going to look like and the very first color that he showed me (one of the shops custom colors) was the one,didn’t even have to look at other colors which I thought that was awesome! If I ever need anything painted in the future I will bring it back here. Love the shop, it’s big! Very trustworthy maaco to me! Way way better than the one I originally went to which was a mistake! Dave and the team were great very friendly people and trustworthy. They go the extra mile to make you smile! Atleast for me they did but I’m sure they will you too! I came to Maaco with estimate of $511.00 from my insurance company and I was responsible for it because I had to pay a deductible $500 for the repair of my rear bumper and Maaco did the job on my rear bumper for much less which was for a reasonable and fair price that I could do and I did not have to worry about paying a deductible. Took in my badly peeling 2010 Scion XB release series 7.0. They did not try to up sell me on the paint quality, but suggested something that will look good for the next 4-5 years. I am so happy with the results and my car looks amazing! Not only is the unusual purple color completely fresh, but they got a lot of metallic flake in the paint as well. I absolutely recommend Maaco in Lakeland!

I take my car couple years ago to econo paint they make way better job. The paint was running and the have 2 new scratches. I went back with Dave and he wasn’t really nice when I told him a bout the job. I want to share the pictures this but it’s doesn’t let me. He promised a lot but at the end when they have the money 💴 they don’t care about anything else.

What can I say? Maaco took care of me. The staff really cares about their customers and prove it by the way they conduct business. They offer a great value, excellent customer service, attention to detail, and a reasonable time frame for completing the projects. Businesses like this are a rarity. They earn your money. When an unfortunate accident destroyed my car, I had to get a car in a hurry. It was the epitome of fixer upper with dents and peeling paint all over. They made it look like a new car! (Check out the before and after photos below.) Also, I described the custom color I desired and they matched it perfectly. Love my blue raspberry ride! I highly recommend Maaco for any body work or painting needs.

These guys did an amazing job of turning a $4,000 OEM body repair into a $1,000 job. The paint was perfectly matched and trim restored to factory condition. Always check with these guys before you settle with any quote. Dave The Legend knows his stuff and can give you an accurate estimate in minutes simply by looking it over. I wanted to rate 6 starts but google wouldnt let me.

Dave was the sales person I spoke with and he did not under sale/over sale the “production paint job “ I was givin what so ever . He is very good at making sure you will not be givin a paint job you would get from a professional but he make sure you will be givin only a production paint job and sales nothing less /more ..... Great job done to my car. Looks brand new. Price is cheaper than other body shops. I just wish that customer service staff are more accommodating and not too confident. Be more respectful and down to earth. After all in business it’s all about PR. That’s what was lacking in this Maaco body shop compared to other Maaco shops I’ve been too. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars.
