Had a good experience today. From Hector to the Finance guy, The delivery specialist who got the truck ready, to the receptionist who helped setup my FordPass for my brand new F-150. I’ve been living here in lake worth for almost 30 years and I drive past this place everyday but never stepped foot over there. I heard a lot of negative things about this place so I just avoid it all together, until one day I saw a bright red lifted truck that was parked infront of the dealership and it was very nice, so I decided to pull in and check it out. The truck was nice and beautiful but it was way out of my price range. While I was looking at the truck these two salesman came up to me and he was very nice and super helpful. He explained everything about the truck and all the features it came with and gave me some great insight. I was very pleased by his customer service. He also showed me a couple more trucks and gave me a nice cold bottle of water. He gave me excellent service even though I told him that I wasn’t ready to buy today and he still took really good care of me. All the rumors about this place is wrong. If every salesman was just as half as helpful as that man then I can only imagine how helpful everyone else is. I am looking forward to getting my next truck from that car salesman and I believe his name is JT. Super helpful and super nice. Avoid Wayne Akers at all costs. Absolute con artists. I ordered a 2021 Ford Explorer ST to be picked up at Wayne Akers... after a $1000 deposit & 3 months of waiting, my Explorer arrived at Wayne Akers. No less than 12 hours after my vehicle arrived, another salesperson sold MY vehicle to someone else for cash. Be warned, this dealership will do this to anyone if it means they make a quick buck. I took my business to Essential Ford in Stuart & I recommend anyone else do the same. Wayne Akers is as unprofessional & shady as it gets.

I just have to say a huge thank you to the service manger David Benjamin at Wayne Akers Ford!! Here’s the story - I was driving my RV down from St Augustine for parents weekend at my sons college and my camper was making a god awful noise the entire drive down. I hadn’t driven it in a few months but it was kept in a secured storage so I assumed it was from not driving it for a while. I called no less than 4 other Ford dealers on my way down to ask if they could please help and take a look to see if they can tell me what the noise is from. Not a single one offered to help in anyway whatsoever until my last call when I got the service manager David on the phone. While he told me outright that they don’t typically service RV’s due to the size and not being able to accommodate such - Mr. Benjamin was kind enough to tell me to stop by and at the very least he’d take a look at it personally to see if he could figure out what the noise was. He did mention on the phone that it sounded like it could be an exhaust issue but I brushed that idea off since it had been in storage. When I arrived at 4:00pm on what I could easily tell was a busy Friday afternoon David came out to meet me and looked at the RV crawling under it in his work clothes no less and immediately found the problem. Someone had tried to steal my catalytic converter and it was partiality removed and hanging down. Unfortunately they were unable to perform such repairs but he pointed me in the right direction and to save me even further said it could be welded back together so don’t let anyone try to sell you something you don’t need. I can’t express enough how kind he was and very friendly to boot! I only wish more people were like him, willing to help a customer, without looking to gain something by it! I am going to tell everyone about this experience and how Dave at Wayne Akers Ford was not only friendly and informative but also the only service manager that took my call was honest, made no guarantees, but offered to look; and that’s all it took! He gave me piece of mind!! People in customer service these days are an all around disappointment; this man should serve as the example of how to do things right!!

These pictures are of a brand new $47,000 2021 F150 that was purchased by Ed from Wayne Ackers Ford. Truck was taken back to the dealership with 500 miles on it after Ed noticed the rust and a claim was put it for repairs with Ford, claim was denied.Ed was told by a salesman that several trucks where driven on a parking lot that had a chemical on it and this “rust” is the result. Truck now has 547 miles and is sitting at the dealership because neither Ford or Wayne Akers will take responsibility.Ed is following BBB Auto Laws and Florida Lemon Law procedures, but that is a long process, so he’s paying for a truck that isn’t being driven.To add insult to injury when Ed took the truck in the finance manager address him as “Rusty” and laughed afterwords.Ed was told Ford is sending a representative down to access the truck on 4-8-21, truck was taken to the dealership but no one from Ford showed up. An employee was seen taking pictures of the damages and told Ed he will send the pictures to the representative.The truck is at the dealership and they 10-15 days to fix the issues.Ed has always purchased Ford trucks and this is his 7th vehicle from Wayne Akers. He wants to get these pictures out there so if you are buying or have already purchased a f150 from them to check underneath for rust/corrosion damages.This was to be his last truck before he retires but instead of being able to enjoy it, it’s been nothing but a hassle.

After taking my truck in for service i realize how much of a crook this dealership is! My truck is still under warranty m. So let’s start with that!!!! I took the truck in for a problem that i knew was simple to fix but they told me that they needed to put the truck on the computer for diagnostics. That was over $200 each time; After doing that 4 times and being left with a bill over $1000. To find out it was something that needed to be unplugged and reset! Ever time i come here i have always been up-charged or charged for things that were totally unnecessary. I spoke with the service manager David Benjamin and he did absolutely nothing to fix my concerns. I guess since there’s no cars to sell these days they must rob the customers at the service counter to. make up for the lacking revenue! Totally unacceptable. Stay clear of this dealership!!!!

Stopped by to make an appointment to get an diagnostics ran on my 2016 Titanium Escape...The receptionist was very nice scheduled the appointment for 7:00 in the morning..... dropped the car off waited and waited and waited.....about 9 1/2 hrs. later got a call saying well we got you car to do what the issue was.. However, we will have to keep it for 2 day and you will have to rent a car because we no longer give loners. I said Okay I will have to reschedule.. I picked up my vehicle. after 5pm. to my surprise someone dismantled the control panel. I tried calling to no avail. next day called for 2 hours mail box full...had to drive15 miles to talk to the service manager.... who then laughed in my face and said he was the only one that drove my car and didnt do it . The Gen. Mgr. got involved. did something and popped the molding back in place with no explanation....or compassion for the issue. My advice to anyone who plan on using their services is to take picture so you will have proof of the condition of your vehicle upon drop-off. I will never trust them again.
