Fantastic place! The nature the water is absolutely beautiful! Even the people there are great! Fishing is fantastic ! I caught bass, catfish and one gar which was very challenging! Grape Hammock is the place to go! Airboat rides are great!

Captain Barrett was GREAT! It was our daughters first air boat ride and she LOVED IT! We saw so many animals, and by the end, she was the baby gator spotting expert.Highly recommend!!!

Amazing experience with Barrett on our airboat ride! Everything went very smoothly with timing of our departure and arrival back to the dock. The wildlife was out for us to see this morning. We lost count on how many gators we were able to see from the new babies to a really big male. It is worth getting up in the morning and making the drive. We definitely will be bringing more of the family back for another trip. Thanks again!

Fantastic tour on Lake Kissimmee, Lake Wales, Florida. We saw so much wildlife, birds, eagles, deer, buffalo, and even a zebra. Our driver was excellent and the experience was even better than expected. I will do this again and again.

The air boat ride was fantastic lots of birds and gators were out and about still rather slow from the cold so got a good close up look at them. Water Buffalo, bison, cattle, wild turkeys and bald eagles.

I love this place! Clean, comfortable, well stocked kitchen with all the dishes and utensils you will ever need! Clean linens always available! Every one is very friendly and helpful! Good variety of bait is available on site as well as ice. Weve fished here for the past 30 years and have never been disappointed. Great place for families to relax and enjoy real Florida at its finest! Highly recommended to all!

Took an airboat tour here. First time on an airboat and it was great! Kevin was our driver/guide and he was fantastic, he knew exactly where to go to find some gators and other animals. We saw a lot of bald eagles (even some of their nests), birds of all sorts, gators (large and small), bison, deer, turkeys, and a turtle. We did the early tour (9:30) because thats what they recommended when we called. A little tip though, even if it feels warm out, it was a little chilly on the water when the boat was moving.

This place is great! It’s so cozy and comfy. We were in cabin 4. Perfect clean little room. Full kitchen...just right!!! Best place to go if you just need time away! It’s so peaceful and quiet. A great place to renew your spirit. Also, don’t miss the airboat ride! It’s awesome!!! Staff is so kind and friendly.

This is Florida! What a great Florida fish camp. Please look it up online because it will explain so much more than I can in a brief summary but just know this, if you love camping, boating, fishing and the sites and sounds of wildlife and the lake, you are at the right place.

My new favorite camp ground. Almost didnt want to post due to I hate to see it getting even harder to get a good spot. This is a true fishing camp ground. NO Swimming, the water is full of gators!!!. They have great airboat rides to show you all the species that are native to the area. Owners are nice and work the site.

Took an air boat ride this morning. Our 2nd with this company. Once again they did not disappoint. When I made the reservation I talked about seeing wildlife. They remembered and called me back and said the captain suggested we come at 9:30AM. Our Captain, Kevin, found everything from alligators (babies and big older ones), bison, eagles (even their nest with you do eagles in it), cows, deer, turtle, turkeys, all kinds of birds and many more. We each had a headset with a microphone and Kevin even stopped to get out and take our picture.

Had a great time here! Came up on a Fri afternoon and upon check-in, were warmly welcomed. We stayed in Cabin 4 and found it very clean and well stocked with pretty much everything you could need. The boat ramp was in good shape as were the individual slips. Will surely be booking again in the near future!

As far as the boat ramp goes. $5 to launch and park. Single ramp that is STEEP. We launched a 24 bow rider just fine.Friendly girl in the office and clean rest rooms.Some people might have issues on the ramp, other than that it was a pleasant experience.

Been staying at Grape Hammock for the last 3 years. Love the place . Great and friendly people, excellent airboat tours. Owners making updates and improvements that are starting to really show. Camping and cabin rates are more than reasonable. Currently stay January and February each year and another few days through out the year. Wish I could stay more.

Kevin was our driver and off course very knowledgeable. At $40 per person and hour and a half eco tour, you cant beat it anywhere in Central Florida as far as my wife and I are concerned. This was the first time we were on an airboat ride. We would do it again

Terrible customer service over the phone. The woman I spoke to was everything but professional and inviting. Prices are ridiculously high. Spend your money elsewhere where people are going to be helpful and hospitable.

Amazing time - the facilities and the staff exceeded my expectations from start to finish. The trailer we rented was extremely clean and comfortable, even for a family of 5. The pontoon boat we rented did exactly what it was supposed to due. Although the weather was not playing well with others we were able to make this a memorable trip for my daughters 9th birthday. Fishing and exploring Lake Kissimmee. Simply cannot say enough good things.

Had a great time here. The tour guide to an excellent job of pointing out various wildlife. Well worth the money an am planning on doing it again when family is visiting next time.

My son and I went on their airboat tour. It was a great time. The captain was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and lake. Even got out of the boat while we were on land to take pictures of us on the boat.

We have been camping here for a couple of years now and the staff at Grape Hammock has always been friendly and helpful with anything you ask of them. We always have a great time with family friends and look forward to next year. The fishing was great.

Just got back after a 5 day stay, price was extremely reasonable! We stayed in a 2 bedroom 14 wide mobile home, it was very clean, well taken care of. Staff was very helpful and courteous! My parents go there a week every year and have for over 20 years, this was my first trip. I will go back next year and highly recommend it. Smokers and Pets are both welcome btw :-)

We recently spent 10 days in Florida, and this was one of the top two highlights of our entire trip! I knew we would enjoy an airboat adventure, but we werent expecting it to be this fantastic!First of all, this has a very authentic feel. I mean, this is literally a fish camp. There are houseboats and RVs and docks and bait. This is not a roadside tourist trap. This is the real deal.The captain of our airboat was Kevin and he knew what he was doing! He knew Lake Kissimmee like the back of his hand (and pronounced Kissimmee correctly) and knew exactly what his guests wanted to experience. We did some amazing boat trails through the southern part of the lake and we saw abundant wildlife.The birds, wow! Bald eagles. Herons. It would have been worth it for the birds alone. The view on the lake with all of the birds was breathtaking.But, really, it was all about the alligators! And we saw dozens and dozens. Granted, we picked a good day--winter, when the gators wanted to be out sunning. But Kevin knew exactly where they would be. We saw gators of all sizes. And we saw gators up close!Kevin narrated the entire trip very professionally. We felt safe and had so much fun. I would go back again in a heartbeat! Outstanding!

CLEAN AND BEAUTIFUL TRESS AND SCENERY . EVERY ONE WE CAME IN CONTACT WITH WAS SUPER FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL . ITS EASY TO SEE WHY SO QUICKLY THIS PLACE BOOKS UP. I WILL BE VISITING AGAIN REAL SOON .

Very open and spacious in cabin 12. Great price as it has 9 single beds and two couches with queen pull-outs. Two dining room tables that seat 6 each. Free dock space with power and boat ramp use with cabin rental. Large covered parking spot and close to the office/store. Pots, pans, dishes, silverware, plates, glasses, bowls, two coffeemakers, microwave, oven, refrigerator, and central air. Man, we really roughed-it. No wi-Fi, but to us, that is a plus. Great family-owned and run faciity.

Kevin took us out on the air boat and it was great experience. We went to look for alligators and see old sites after growing up on the Lake. Three adults and 5 kids (two 2 year olds) and everyone was happy. Two little ones actually fell asleep because if the smooth ride!!!! The headphones had microphones so everyone could talk and hear Kevins directions of where to look. We saw several types of deer, a Zebra, raccoons, lots of cows, otters, bald eagles, alligators, and several other species of birds. Took great pics for us too on the airboat. Not a touristy place. Highly recommend.

Ive be a visitor here as far back as 20 years ago. The facility is top notch. Cabins and trailers are exceptionally clean and well stocked. The ramp is convenient and well maintained. The prices are amazingly fair, especially considering youre really in a remote, beautiful wild and wildlife environment, miles from everything.The staff is friendly and very informed on everything youd wanna know about the area. This camp actually goes back to 1949. It was just a cowboy camp then, but then, thats another great story to asked them about. Kevin, the big dog...is special and very enjoyable to work with. We have charter his services for a long time and always have been very satisfied. Hes humble but profoundly talanted in his business, especially his guide services. Which cover many options for outdoorsman and their families.Highly recommended anyone looking for a connection with remote, back to nature experience give them a call today. Lake Kissimmee is truly one of Florida mist beautiful and ecological wonders left almost unspoiled and out of reach by urban development.
