Ernest was great to deal with and very transparent on the whole deal, no nonsense with dealer fees or any other hidden costs. I was looking at one of his BMWs online from across the country. After doing some of my own research on the specific car I decided it was the one for me. I made a deposit then flew down to Palm Beach and he picked me up from the airport right on time then brought me back to his dealership to finish the transaction. The car looked exactly as it did in the pictures, and I could tell that it was freshly detailed inside and out. No dirt anywhere, even under the hood. Im actually in the process of maybe purchasing a car from Ernest right now. But I wanted to share my past and present experiences. A couple of years ago, we were considering buying a used convertible. Ernest was one of the places we went to look at cars (a Volvo convertible). He is so low pressure, he is no pressure. The car wasnt for us (and we decided to hold off on purchasing at all). Now, 3 years later, we are considering purchasing a convertible again (what can I say...I live in a beach town and really want a convertible) and one of the cars in which we are interested is with Ernest. So, we arranged a test drive yesterday. He was all ready for us. He encouraged us to take all the time we wanted and take it on the highway. We did. We are considering the purchase (we have concerns about the price - but to be fair it is a hard car to price accurately for many reasons). However, we asked if we could take the car to our mechanic to look over - Ernest did not hesitate with a yes. Do you know what he did not do? He did not call me or otherwise pressure me in any way. I find him to be incredibly easy to work with. If you are in the market for a used car, I encourage you to work with Ernest.

I am not sure what the other reviewers are talking about when it comes to Ernests attitude. He had a great attitude with me even when I criticized the car and expressed all my concerns. The car was priced under blue book. I looked at his car first. Told him I needed to do some shopping around first. He was totally cool about it. He was totally fine and low pressure. Said he hopes to see me again but understands if not. I love my car and it is working great so far. He has been doing this a long time. He also does NOT charge any extra fees like EVERY other dealership I went to does.

Bought a used 2007 Audi A4 from Ernest on July 2, 2019. A few days later, I took it to my mechanic because it was having problems, and spent a lot of money for fixing the car for. Had to replace the fuel Injectors, fuel rail, spark plugs, gasket and finally yesterday the cars engine died. Do not trust Ernest. Do your own research and get any and all cars you may purchase from him checked out with your own mechanic. Do not buy anything from him without getting it checked out by your mechanic! Dont make the same mistake I did.

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a car from VE Auto Gallery. I saw the car online and had to have it, although, I live in Okla and the car was in Fla. Ernest, the owner, was very patient with all of my calls. He explained everything he knew about the car and my options for getting it home. All proved to be correct. I chose to fly to West Palm. I then drove 1400 miles back home. The car is perfect. Just as he represented. Just bought an 2004 Infiniti I35 and drove it back to Missouri. Car drove like a dream. It was everything Ernest said is was. It was worth the price. Secured the car over the phone. Ernest was kind enough to hold the car for almost a month until I was able to fly down and complete the deal. He picked me up from the airport, and I was back on the road within an hour. On the way to the dealership, Ernest was up front in that a few days prior he had to have the radiator replaced which was done at his expense, plus he had he oil changed as the local Infiniti dealer so it was ready for the long trip back. Car had a few body blemishes that didnt show from the photos but for a 14 year old car, you have to expect that. They were not something I would have considered not buying the car over. Of all the cars I looked at, his cars presented the best for the money. I would do business with VE again in a heartbeat.

AVOID, DONT WALK AWAY YOU NEED TO RUN. Wish I could give no stars. I should’ve listened to the reviews better. I have had a car for a week, literally 7 days today, and I had to take it to a dealership because it was over heating. Come to find out the fan isn’t working, it’s leaking brake fluid, coolant, and radiator fluid. Most of the bottom of the car is almost all complete rust, in areas I couldn’t see when I purchased it. I called and told him and he seemed very unbothered by it and told me to make an appointment with his mechanic. Make an appointment with a mechanic who let a car be sold with so many problems???? I have recently found out the repairs to the car are 2000$. I have given Ernest many chances to make things right and have given him an opportunity to fix this and he refused to speak to me on the phone and even have a conversation which led to texting back and forth. He told me to talk to him when I get the title, which who knows when that will be since I asked and he didn’t respond. I would advise anyone to avoid this place like the plague.Response to you ernestas— it’s a 2002 and I paid 4000$. You also refused to give me money because I wouldn’t remove these reviews which I would have if you had given me a cashiers check like I gave you. I brought you the title and you still refused. I wouldn’t take a company check that you would be able to cancel as soon as I left the premises. Sorry I trusted you and your shop. Not to mention you’ve done this to others since your business was involved in a drive by shooting. Maybe stop screwing people and karma won’t get you in the end.

Ernest advocates that you do your homework on his cars because he cant make claims where he has no knowledge - thats fair. What he cant deal with is the results of your homework. He pride himself as being able to find cars and prices them fairly but Ernest you an be off sometimes - deal with it. I pointed out to him that I found a couple of things wrong with the car and declined the purchase and thanked him. All the sudden the rude insults start flying. If you dont want feedback dont ask for it. Call Ernest if you are a sadist otherwise youve been warned.

Dec 7 2018. Just bought an 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander V6. Car drove Perfect. It was everything Ernest said is was over the phone and was honest over the phone before i drove 2 hours to look at it. I showed up he put a dealer tag on and said drive it, look at it, take your time and then let me know. It was worth the price. When i was done it leaked a little antifreeze from the bottom of the radiator, nothing big. He said i will get a new raditor tommorow and put it in. I said no ill buy it that way cause i know how to fix stuff its an easy fix for me. He then took the cost of the parts and labor off the car no questions asked. Car had a few body blemishes that didnt show from the photos but for a 9 year old car.it was in great condition.. Of all the cars I looked at, his cars are worth all the best for the money. I would do business with VE again in a heartbeat. My wife and i are already looking at a minivan he has. Great honest man to deal with. I promise or ill buy your next car for you.

I want to share my experience buying a car from Ernest. I found VE Auto Gallery through CarGuru and it was obvious that Ernest knows how to price cars to sell. His prices are consistently lower than just about anyone out there. I bought a 2010 Prius with 120,000 miles. This is a used car, so anyone expecting showroom new, is not being realistic. The pictures on the website are good, but pictures are not the same as looking in person. My email and telephone communications with Ernest were straight forward and he answered all of my questions. Making the purchase was simple and easy. Ernest held the car for me for almost a month until I could arrange to fly to West Palm Beach International, where he was nice enough to pick me up. We drove back to the office for some paperwork which again was straight forward and simple. In a very short time, I was on my way back to the Washington, D.C. area in my Prius. The car was exactly what I expected and all of the information Ernest provided was accurate. Even a Prius needs to stop a few times during a thousand mile journey. But gas was the only thing my Prius needed for the drive. Zero issues with the car and a great experience buying from Ernest. I would happily buy from Ernest in the future.

Bought a used 2008 Audi A6 from Ernest on March 29th, 2018. He claimed his mechanic went through the car and its in great condition. A week after I bought it, I took it to my mechanic because it was having problems, and now I have spent more fixing everything that was wrong with it than what I bought the car for. Had to replace the water pump, serpentine belt, gaskets, spark plugs, trans mount, engine mounts, AC condenser (died a month after I bought the car), and the list goes on. I wish there were lemon laws on used cars. Do not trust Ernest or his mechanic. They put lipstick on pigs. Do your own research and get any and all cars you may purchase from him checked out with your own mechanic. I told Ernest that the car I bought from him was a POS and that he needs to fire his mechanic. He asked what I had to fix and I read him the whole list. He said what I fixed wasnt necessary for a used car. Umm yes they were, all repairs were necessary in order for the car to run well and not break down. When you shake his hand, make sure you have all your fingers when he lets go. He may get some decent used cars in once in a while, unfortunately I didnt buy one from him. Do not buy anything from him without getting it checked out by your mechanic! Dont make the same mistake I did.

Heres the real deal. Ernest seems like a great guy to buy from if you go there, ask NO questions, give him his money, and take the car. Because he wont budge on price, and he doesnt care what defects a car has while his sticker prices are way over what they are worth. He will also disregard any pre-purchase inspection you do, meaning if your mechanics says the engine is about to fall out, Ernest will say that doesnt matter, the price is still the same. So either get ready to get lucky, or move on to the next. Oh and if you want a Porsche or BMW and you knowledgeable about cars, dont even think about going there, because he hates all BMW and Porsche guys = (extrapolation)I only want dumb buyers who know nothing and will just give me my money and drive away and leave me alone.If you had good dealings with him, that simply means you got lucky and got a good car. Under further inspection, the car I looked had had many problems that did not warrant the sticker prices, and it would be certain a detailed inspection would have brought out more defects from the signs I say from driving it. But why do the PPI when he wont budge on the price? Only an idiot would do that.
