Nice office & staff, took me in right on time & Dr.Kawasaki was great. Optician Kristin was fantastic in helping me pick the best glasses & specialty add-ons for a complicated Rx. My new go-to for my family’s eye care.

My first visit but certainly not my last! The office is immaculate, staff friendly & efficient, and despite a rather long wait to see the doctor, Dr Kawasaki was wonderful. She went over my medical history and conducted a thorough exam. I suspected new glasses would be needed but she decided it was merely dry eyes. Now thats a happy diagnosis -- very impressed with her. When I do need new glasses, Ill definitely be coming back!!

The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable (Daisy is fab, btw). They take Covid seriously so the clinic is pristine. Dr. Palmer is a gem. You can ask him anything eye related and he’ll gladly talk to you about it. Your questions and concerns will not be dismissed as he truly cares. Bonus: they stock a great selection of eyeglass frames.

The absolute worst! The eye exam was basic and fine- The kind woman at the front desk extended a 20% discount for me because their exam rate was so higher than anywhere else I called in Portland (more on this below).....The sales person has me irked even two weeks later! In brief.......She tried to sell me $365 LENSES for 2 pairs of glasses ($700) without giving me any information about it - just said ‘that’s what they are” (because I had the audacity to bring in my own glasses instead of purchasing from them). After many many uncomfortable minutes of pondering in front of her - I finally had to say “why are they so expensive, I literally paid $150 in San Francisco for the same lenses”....ONLY then did she tell me all the fancy add-Ins ons - that I did not need - she’s trying to convince me how I need $150 glare proofing and computer blue blocker yadanyada — To read a book!!Back to the initial discount for the exam - When I sit down, she says ‘I can offer you a 10% discount”. I said “the kind lady at the front extended a 20% discount”...... So she says” well my computer will only accept 10% - where I then said “well let’s find a computer that takes 20%! When I went to pay, she gave me the total - and since I can do basic math, I said ‘That’s 10%”.... she was clearly annoyed.....and her computer magically suddenly accepted the 20%. THEN, I say, I’ll just get one pair of glasses done because I was desperate - she then proceeds to toss a piece of paper at me saying they are not held responsible if anything happens to the glasses in their care. I said ....so if the $750 glasses come back and you drop them and they break, it’s just too bad for me?” And she said “right, we are not responsible and neither is the lab”.NEXT - I ordered a less expensive pair of glasses for the interim on Jinz.com. My husband and kids need new glasses so I was going wait and all go together - I just received an email from them saying they have contacted the office MANY times and they still won’t send the Rx to them.WORST EXPERIENCE IN EYES EVER!

Everyone there was incredibly kind and helpful. Covid procedures were followed perfectly and really made you feel safe. I will definitely be a returning customer for my next eye exam and pair of glasses!

L.O. Vision Clinic had strong recommendations from several friends, so with my current glasses showing their age, I made an appointment. Clean clinic, appropriate COVID measures in place, modern diagnostic equipment (no more air puff in the eye), a nice selection of frames, and a helpful staff, so I was quite satisfied with my experience. And Dr Kawasaki was great. I’ll be picking up two pairs in a week or so.

We have been going to the eye doc for about 4 years now, with my 7 year old. I have never seen such a knowledgeable, awesome staff in all that time like I did today at LO vision clinic. I am so excited we found them!!!!

I hadnt had an eye exam in many years and I work in the area so I made an appointment for after work. The staff was very friendly and Dr. Palmer was extremely personable. He explained every step of the exam in simple terms that any layman could understand. A little out of the way for Portland residents but well worth the drive. Excellent clinic with flexible hours to fit any schedule.

Very friendly and professional staff. I arrived slightly ahead of my appointment but my pre testing work was done very soon after filling out the paper work (nice touch that they use laminated forms for reuse saving the trees).The Dr was very amenable to discussing genetic history in my family and offered (but not %100 guaranteeing) suggested dietary guidelines (antioxidants) for prevention. They also sell supplements if that’s your thing.I would definitely recommend this clinic.

Ive been going to this office (including my whole family) for years and my experiences have always been amazing. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. Ive seen Dr. Wolf many times and hes great! Today I saw Dr. Palmer for the first time and he was awesome. Their patient care is exceptional. This office takes care of me every time. I have to give a special shout out to Daisy. Shes quite funny, goes the extra mile when it comes to customer service and always puts a smile on my face. I highly recommend giving them a visit.

Ive been a patient for years and have never had an experience that was anything less than positive and informative. Some of the nicest, most helpful professionals I have met and the office always seems to have the latest technology. I also appreciate that they consider your whole health as it can impact your eyes, and they help even the most confusing insurance plans make sense. I cant recommend them high enough.

Doctor Palmer is fantastic!

I dont wear glasses normally and have 20/15 vision. I work on the computer alot and they offered a prescription for a slight improvement and possibly some eye fatigue relief. It took 3 tries to get the lenses right. Despite my frustrations they remained positive and took the time to listen to my bad experience with the first 2 lenses and finally got me a prescription and lens that was perfect. I would recommend.

My daughter and I have been going here for many years. We love the people here and will recommend LOVC to everyone!

The group was super easy to work with, and everyone was very friendly. Everything being done to my eyes was explained in detail and I was given options about how to proceed in several cases. Even with the additional fees for some services-- everyone checked before performing the exams that the cost would not be a problem.

A family member had a contact lens issue, and the staff found a way to squeeze us in (and very near closing time, to boot). Everyone was extremely courteous, from the front desk staff to the doctor on duty. Highly recommend!

I stopped in this afternoon because a screw in my glasses had come loose. I walked in and was immediately welcomed with a warm smile and. I asked if they had a tiny screwdriver for me to fix my glasses, the employee took my glasses and said they could help with that and offered me a seat. I sat down and waited for what felt like a long time to simply twist a screwdriver a few times. When I made eye contact with the employee at the desk she assured me they were working on my glasses. At this point I was a little worried that they were going to charge me for something I would have happily done myself! After another minute or two another employee came out and handed me my glasses saying she had tuned them up a bit. My glasses were perfectly clean, with every joint and screw perfectly in place. She made sure everything was in place and told me if it ever happens again to come back in. I was caught completely off guard by the above and beyond service! Thank you so much!!

Our entire family gets all our eye care here and they are excellent! I have some eye issues that go beyond a typical myopia (two corrective surgeries, a splotch on my retina, and some low light and eye strain issues). Everyone here is really kind and professional and they provide superior care. They have also always been excellent with our child. Admittedly their facility and glasses selection is high end. But the medical care you receive is worth it. You could even consider coming here for great eye care (especially as you age) and taking the prescription someplace else for eye wear thats lower cost -- though I like the ongoing support they provide for the glasses they sell (adjustments, new parts, etc.).

Ive seen a few different doctors here, and have liked all of them. Good website for booking appointments. When theyre running late, they acknowledge it and make an effort to make it right. Weird, I know.

I just met with Dr. Horrocks. I have a scratch on my cornea and incredibly uncomfortable. Dr. Horrocks took her time with me, fixed my eye and truly seemed to care. I am so happy to have found not only a competent eye doctor, but one who is empathetic and seems to love her job.

Highly recommended if you’re thinking about taking a vision exam or looking for a new pair of glasses. The optometrist is professional and the staff are very friendly and patient.

I have never written a review before, but I am compelled to do so. Worst experience I have ever had with a my daughter, ever, in fact I walked out. Jessica Wilcox walked in with her hand on her hip and an attitude. Never once did she acknowledge my child or call her by name. Then, during the exam began to speak disparagingly to my child. I attempted to be patient, and then when she proceeded to tell me how my daughter was trying too hard to get the letters right and that she couldnt trust her, I got up and we walked out. As a psychotherapist, I am shocked at the manner she treated her patient, and a child patient at that. On her bio it says she received a coin in the military for great customer service, as a military family, I am glad we didnt have her as the standard of care. ---Mary Bicknell

I am disappointed with Lake Oswego Vision Clinics customer service. I had an appointment today to get my vision examed. I had bought glasses from them 2 years ago. They didnt bother to tell me that they moved. I arrived at their clinic, but there were no signs of them there. I looked them up on my smart phone and discovered their new location. I sped over to the new place and was proud that I was only 10 minutes late. The sales girl explained to me that since I was 10 minutes late, I would have to reschedule. I couldnt believe she did not consider the fact that I hadnt been there since they moved. She said she could reschedule me for later today, which is the time I had wanted in the fiirst place. I wasted an hour off my time and 14 miles of gas because of Lake Oswego Vision Clinic. My time is precious and I do not appreicate it being wasted.

Always a relaxing experience at LOVC. They listen to my unique needs between contacts and glasses and make sure I am walking out with the best value as possible considering whay my insurance provides. The glasses selection they have onsite is also excellent. Something for everyone. My whole family attends LOVC and I as my younger children grow they will also be patients at LOVC.2020 during COVID-19, still the same review... they are managing things very well there. Great visit!
