Best cupcake I have ever had by far. Perfect cake texture plenty of moisture. The frosting was delicious and not too sweet. The flavors were well thought-out. Portion size was a appropriate instead of overly large. The latte was also excellent. Interior is well decorated, noise level is kept reasonable with a good use of acoustical techniques, and the bathrooms are clean and pleasant. If you have the chance, go here for sure. You will not be disappointed.

Great set up for social distancing- there’s plenty of outdoor seating, and it’s in a nice sheltered area away from the sidewalk and road. The tables are actually more than 6 feet apart! My only complaint is that it would be nice if the WiFi was strong enough to be reliable outdoors.

Today was my first day trying Ava Roasteria. I did not get to physically view the location, as I ordered from Doordash during work. Their matcha latte was adequate for a pick-me-up, tastes like most matcha lattes that arent Starbucks (which is good, because I am not a big fan of Starbucks). I was quite impressed with the cup, which looked a lot nicer than most disposable cups Ive seen from smaller companies.But what really impressed me was the Dads Delight sponge cake. I was a bit grossed out by the dessert being really wet due to being soaked in rose water, but it was moist and tasty. Cardamom is one of my favorite ingredients ever to be included in desserts, and it tasted great in this treat as it wasnt too overpowering. Also, I hate sponge cakes that are too sweet, and this one was just right. The pistachios on top were like the icing on the cake. And for only about $4 too! Im salivating right now just thinking about the cake, I wish I had more.

Cute place incompetence staff!I ordered a hot dirty chi, fruit tart and a ham and provolone croissant.My coffee was given to me cold, when I told the girl she rolled her eyes and took the coffee back. Instead of making me the coffee properly she strained the ice out and steamed the coffee! So what I was given was a watered down boiling hot mess! I couldnt even sip it, it was so incredibly HOT! Well lets not stop there, when I get back to work and sit down for my lunch my food is also wrong! My sandwich was not on a croissant but a bagel. Now thats not the only thing, my fruit tart...a coconut cream something! This is just unexceptable!

Definitely the best cup of coffee I’ve had in a while. It was fresh, hot and full of flavor without being bitter. Drip coffee with cream and a dash of cinnamon. These guys make coffee the way it should be!

Stopped by for a lil pick-me-up. knowledgable baristas answered my questions about coffee, and service was fast.they were serving a medium roast coffee that tastes like cocoa nib & semi sweet chocolate chips.the only reason i didnt give 5 stars was because the technology wouldnt allow me to tip more than the total check amount, even though it offered said options. owners should heavily consider changing this option to allow for customers to tip the amount they want.

The place looks nice and is always clean, its cozy, people are very cool and friendly, awesome crowd. Its usually not crowded but recently more people have started to visit and it can get crowded at times.

Take out not available, and they are doing dine in only. When I called to try to place an order, they told me that they were too busy, and that I had to order through Uber eats. when I asked how long it would take if I were to drive over to place an in person in order to go, I was told they didn’t know and it would depend on how busy they were at the moment. That makes no sense, because Uber eats takes 30% of their commission! I guess if they were that busy they can’t even fulfill a take out order, good for them. But if I were the owner, I would seriously consider revisiting the staff. S/he might be losing a lot of money if they aren’t willing to hustle.

Coffee and food is good but we waited 25 minutes for our sandwich they were dead slow. I used to work at Panera bread and we’d make sandwiches 7 times faster.

So they literally take off all their sandwiches from Uber eats because their employees don’t know how to mark off “no ketchup” when they run out of toppings. Absolutely shocking from the employees. The amount of business they must be losing everyday. That’s literally what the girls told me when I called. So basically you can only order pastries. The sandwiches haven’t been available for weeks now. Awful !!!

My espresso machine loves their fresh roasted coffee beans. The India sources beans are my all time favorite!!

Lovely coffee and desserts with a very cute storefront!I ran by here to pick up cakes for my roommate and Is New Years, and get my caffeine fix while I was at it.My oatmilk snickerdoodle mocha was Awesome and tasted like baking spices and home. The AVA chocolate cake was a tasty but predictable chocolate cake, and my roommate said the carrot cake was very good.I only entered the store to pick up my bagged order, but I could tell that it would be such a lovely place to work on late night projects or meet a friend for coffee and a bite to eat in a non-covid time. We look forward to continuing to support you and hope for it to one day be safe enough to go in person! :)

Coffee was alright. Got an Irish cream breve and it tasted alright. Staff could have been nicer. You guys arent even on Google maps when looking for coffee, which I told the barista when I walked in. They barely talked to me when trying to engage in conversation and the one making my drink was slightly rude. I dont think Ill be back here. Dead mostly anyways

I was refused service for not wearing a mask due to a condition. I even offered to sit at the table where masks are not required and most werent wearing them.I was not offered to have my order taken outside, I was just turned away and embarrassed in front of everyone there for having a medical condition.Masks are not mandatory according to the executive order if you are medically exempt.This is discriminatory and not actually legal. I wont be back.

Great coffee. Dark chocolate mocha is just right for the person that doesnt normally like sugar in their coffee when they are feeling like a sweet treat. That was a long way of saying its sweet, but not too sweet. I do wish it was a bit more coffee forward, but such is life. Atmosphere is great.

I have been coming here weekly for the past few months and have to amend my rating. The coffee is good when its hot. Four times Ive gotten lukewarm coffee and two of the four times they just microwaved it. Kind of expensive coffee to get cold, then nuked. Would recommend if you plan to go early in the day when the coffee is fresh and hot.*Amending my rating again. Once again got room temp coffee in the middle of the day. I give up. Five times in seven is ridiculous. Shame, because the space is so nice.

Met a friend for coffee and conversation. There was plenty of seating but at first I found it a bit noisy but acclimated to it quickly. I ordered a decaf dark chocolate mocha and it was delightful. The staff was great and very friendly. It was easy to get to with plenty of parking.

The place has a chill atmosphere. Clean and love the outdoor seating when it’s nice out. Hard to find close parking sometimes. I had an experience with an employee that wasn’t great otherwise I would give them another star. I come here weekly or biweekly to meet with a friend. A particular staff member was condescending and just not friendly one time when I didn’t have my debit card on me so I no longer purchase their coffee. I asked if they took Apple Pay since I had my phone. Rudly said they didn’t. My friend had cash and offered to pay for my coffee but I said forget it. I still meet with her weekly but I get Starbucks instead. Hire better staff.Had another terrible experience. Again, extremely rude staff.

I really like this location. They have great coffee, food and deserts. The people are nice as well. It has both a large amount of indoor seating and a huge outdoor patio area. It is open 24 hours making it an awesome place to work or study. The one thing it is missing that the other two Avas have is the occasional live music.

HAD AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! Came in on a busy day but got my mocha within 5 minutes! Faith (the barista) stayed calm and had a friendly attitude towards everyone, I do believe she needs a raise.... I WILL be coming back!

I love Ava! Great coffee, croissants, and breakfast sandwiches. The staff always seems friendly, and the layout is great and not overly crowded. Nice outdoor seating in the summertime! My personal favorite drink to order is their iced almond milk latte with sugar free white chocolate (also really good hot when the weather is cooler). Parking lot can be a total nightmare, so I wouldnt recommend going on a weekday during the lunch rush unless absolutely necessary.

This place has the best vegetarian sandwich in Lake Oswego. Its called the Very Veggie sandwich and is delicious. I order it with the sour dough bread, but it is probably really good with any of the bread types on offer. Depending on the weather, there is both indoor and outdoor seating available.

Great mochas and lattes- mochas are made with real chocolate chips. Love supporting this local business with many locations.

The food is surprisingly good here- Panera quality but much cheaper. I could drink The roasted red pepper tomato soup by the gallon. Their pastries are also really yummy.Only complaint is their “salad”s are just large bundles of romaine, uncut, with some veggies in the side. When I’m in a hurry for lunch I don’t have time to cut up my own salad. They could also up their chip game for sides with sandwiches.

Ive been to a lot of coffee shops in my time and this one is one of my favorites so far. One thing I appreciated is that the drinks here are not overly sweet, and they have a great variety of drink options including Thai tea! They also have a good amount of good compared to many other coffee shops, including sandwiches and salads. Will be back again!

Avas is an outstanding example of a great coffee shop and snack location. It has a very friendly staff that will let people linger over their coffee and visit with friends. There are usually plenty of students that are working online on projects. A VERY wide array of coffee drinks and a lot of desserts, including vegan & gluten free food.

I really really wish this place had a wider variety of food. Perhaps taking an example from Well and Good coffee. I regularly frequent this place and like that it is pretty clean and has nice large windows with a lot of light. But if there were more options like grab and go salads, snacks, or sandwiches I would love it more.

Staff is always really helpful and arent dead behind the eyes. As good as the other Ava over in Beaverton. Could use more/better seating because its a hotspot for college study

Shelby is the best barista that any coffee shop has had the good fortune to employ. She turned this place from a soft 7/10 to an easy 10. Seriously promote that girl to CEO.

Coffee here has never been great, but came in on Labor Day because they were one of the only places open. Got a cup of drip coffee and it was cold. I hate Starbucks but at least they have always served me hot coffee

Selections were a bit limited in bakery case late in the 7:00 a.m. hour, but service was quick and seating easily available. Prices are reasonable. Not particularly cozy inside with all hard surfaces, but outdoor seating is available and in nicely landscaped area.

Favorite study spot. Good coffee. Good food. Can get a little loud with all the people from the nearby businesses having lunch or coffee there midday during the week. Love that its open late!!

I understand why people like this place. They have especially good pastry. However like the pastry they can be very pretentious. Whenever I ask for anything special with regard to espresso I get feedback on why they dont do that or why its better if I dont do that. Happens at three locations not just this one. I just asked for an iced Americano with medium ice instead of full to the top. I had to listen to them explain why its better full because the ice melts... As if Ive never ordered one before. Then after agreeing to take some ice out the one who made the drink added more ice because it wasnt according to standard. Just a small issue I certainly agree but an example if a regular one and the details do matter.

This place looks amazing but was understaffed. We were there for three hours and there was only ever the one girl there taking orders and making the food and drinks. The coffee seemed watered down a bit but was good otherwise. Thank you 😊

The place is great for group studies. The tables are low and big, the chairs are comfortable, and the place closes at 11pm. The coffee is great too. My favorite is the pepper mint mocha.

I have literally never been into this place and had a neutral or positive experience. They are either out of something, or they make my order wrong, or tell me food is going to take 30+ minutes. I have no idea why, but it seems like poor management. On multiple occasions they have been out of food items (eggs, bagels, bacon, etc.) or coffee items (iced coffee, mocha ingredients, etc.) And more often than not they have two employees doing the work of at least three. On most occasions I am not treated poorly per say, but Im really starting to get annoyed at this place. I honestly would never go here if I didnt work so close to this location, but it is the closest coffee place and I keep thinking maybe this will be the time when nothing goes wrong. I am wrong every time.

The coffee is alright. But when I go to get coffee outside my house, a great atmosphere is what I pay for when I go to a coffee shop. Prices are slightly a bit steep for the quality of the Joe compared to some joints in Portland like Tinys, Coffeetime, or Southeast Grind. However My 1 year old falls sleep in his stroller next to the outside fountain while I catch up on some work. Very pleasant. Nice live music with that Rob Rainwater guy.

I love the coffee at Ava Roastaria! As a fan of Americano, this place has the best tasting and strongest. This particular location has a great landscaped outside seating area for the summer, and is very nicely lit and laid out inside. Its not overly crowded, like their other locations, so its always easy to get a seat.The wifi is really fast, just be sure to ask for the password. If youre in LO and looking for something different, give this place a go!

Great sandwiches, pastries, and coffee. My wife and I always get the black and white mochas. They are fantastic! This was our first visit to this particular Ava Roasteria and it was the same great quality as the other location we have been to numerous times. We also typically get the Raspberry Ganache cake. It is always great. My son had the Raspberry Ganache cake today for the first time and loved it. My daughter had the peach cream cheese turnover and it was excellent as well. I got to sneak a little bite of it:) Plenty of seating, clean inside, and pleasant employees.

Great to stop in when I take my granddaughter to school in Lake Oswego. A bit pricey but I have found that all coffee shops are pricey.

I swear every time I come here (ok 4 out of 5) they have a new trainee who doesnt know what they are doing. I expect more when I pay over $4 for a cappuccino. Annoying.

Its simple coffee and tea. Nothing special I thought but its getting 4 stars simply because of the environment, staff, and hours. But for better coffee I found Dutch Bros alot better.

We came to study here as usually. My friend wanted to eat something but they would not serve food after 8. The only waitress would take breaks and left customer waiting.
