I dont think you can really call yourself brake masters when it takes you three hours to change brakes. Just pulled out of the building and my car is making knocking sounds when I brake. Then they tried to tell me I was lying. Wow.Only one person working with three lops who walk between the bathroom and their car. Talked to the guy working on my car and he confirmed that the other guys dont work and when they do they brake machines and cars.Cool.Definitely will not be coming back

They have been my only place to work on my 2001 expedition and they do such a great job I bring it in they let me know what needs to be done and they get it out when promised. They are the best thanks guys

I went for squeaking breaks and they replaced my pads but a week later it still squeaked so I took it back and they told me “the rotors got hot and glazed over” they replaced them too and by the time that was done I paid a tone of money and the car still screeched. Will never go again and never recommend anyone there.

I went there to have my master cylinder replaced after going the week before to have my brakes checked. The part was ordered and I drove back there from Quartzsite after it came in. After waiting awhile because they are always over booked, I was informed the wrong master cylinder had been ordered. They ordered one for my old car that is in their records. I was told they could have the correct cylinder the next day so I spent the night to avoid the hour and a half drive home. The next day I arrived and saw the correct part being delivered. Sat for 2 hours waiting only to be informed the part was not new. There was brake fluid in the cylinder already. This would be the fault of OReillys. I was then told they could have a new one the next day and I would be reimbursed for a motel for the night.I went in the NEXT day, only to find out this new cylinder was defective, also from OReillys.It was then that I had no other option but to have my old master put back on the car and drive home. I was told I would be reimbursed for the labor I was charged plus the motel room. I proceeded to head home and when I looked in my backseat I saw my engine cover. I pulled over and called them. The mechanic forgot to put it back on and the screws for it were under my hood. WTH!!Im obviously going to have to reach over their heads to get my reimbursment. Until then, I cant afford to fix my car.I cant believe all the problems I had AND the fact that OReillys has parts that arent any good.I will never, ever go back to Brake Masters. Ive never seen a business that unprofessional. Im 65 years old and they think I should just put the engine cover back on myself. Plus, there were only 3 screws, not 4 under my hood when I looked.This has been one of the worst experiences of my life.I think you will see the only good reviews were close to a year ago

Professional and friendly service. And FAST. They were able to get me in right away. The brake repair was done in less than 30 minutes. Great service. Another great thing I can say about these guys is their care for my dog. I had her with me. I thought she would bark her head off. These guys took great care. Dog whisperers. If your dog likes them you know they’re good people!

I have taken my car here many times for service. Service was great until Scott left. Now it is terrible. Was told I could come in Saturday for my service, and when I verified on Friday they told me to come Monday instead. When I came in today, AFTER checking me in, they then told me that one of their workers had not come in and I needed to come back tomorrow. I left and went elsewhere. They have lost my business.

I went to the Lake Havasu Az, store of Brake Masters I have to tell you I pretty much put up with anything except business that say they do a certain thing included in there program. like rotate tires, didnt do it I watched him had to wait extra half hour for parts store to bring filter, he didnt do anything while waiting car was on lift whole time he could have done all the extra things while waiting but he stood in the shop and ate chips. Do not believe what they say they will do, watch them. on my receipt says they performed all those things, guys in the shop were complaining about a lot of stuff the whole time beware and watch.

Scott was professional, upfront, honest, and took great car of our car that we have neglected for a little too long. He fixed our a/c for a reasonable price and even had to do some extra labor, parts, and top of fluids and didn’t increase the price I was quoted in the beginning. Very very pleased and we will be taking both our cars there from now on. Thank you again Scott!

Put on parts. And my drums are now grinding to a stop and were not before! Tried to have them check the repair and waited with kids in the car in front of the store door after letting tech know of the problem with thier recent repairs to my car from 630am until I have up on them even just looking to be sure myself and babies in car seats were safe on the road and left at 830am. 2 hours at thier entrance to check thier own work as a precaution in case something was missed, wrong, or needed doing. TO MY BRAKES! I WATCHED 4 OTHER CARS BE SERVICED AND GONE. While having zero concern to get my children and I on the road and safely home! Scott is very nice. Personalable. But everything else there is below bar and that expirience 2 days ago... unacceptable by any standards any where. I hate being harsh and ruining some places day or ratings. But this one, is legitimately earned. Sorry Scott, your service standards need some repair.

This is my new shop in Havasu. The place I went to for 5 years here lost my business due to LYING! This past summer I went in to have my brakes/rotors looked at b/c of a wobble when applying brakes. The other place told me I needed both back and front and they dangerous to continue driving. I asked them to do the front first b/c I am on a fixed income, they refused said they were too bad and they would only do them both for safety reasons. I saved my money for 4 months and it really bothered me that they wouldnt do just one set at a time so I decided to stop in at another place....BRAKE MASTERS OF HAVASU :o). Scott showed me my pads they were at 80% and I didnt need front or back and I just needed rotors turned. Saved me a lot of money as well as gaining confidence in a new shop! The other place I will be paying a visit to to tell him just exactly what I think as well as anyone else that I talk with. Thank you Scott and the guys that did the work right then and there and quite speedily too!

Tried to get my vehicle repaired here years ago. They placed the wrong spark plugs in which in turn cost me hundreds of dollars due to incorrect repairs trying to fix the problem that they themselves created. After months of fighting with them, they finally agreed to reimburse some of the charges. I had no less than 15 phone calls to the manager and yet.... nothing. He even told me that corporate approved the reimbursement and the check was in the mail. I called them back again and he acted amazed that I never received the money and I should regather all the receipts and he would personally take care of it.... well, it has been a year and still nothing. They might do okay with brakes but I would never take my vehicle there for repairs. And beware of empty promises and being ignored is a problem does arise.

Probably the most welcoming staff Ive encountered since I moved here 6 years ago. The manager was happy and cordial, didnt scoff at my lack of knowledge about my boyfriends car and was very helpful to explain all my options. I havent had customer service this pleasant anywhere else in havasu. Service was quick and everyone was very accommodating. Price was probably $10 more than i would have paid at big o, but honestly I dont mind in the slightest simply due to the overall experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a stress free auto experience.*5 stars also for the way they handled the little boy who walked in selling candy to pay for his trip to magic mountain.

This is my first Snowbird trip. My brakes had been quickly over heating. Check into doing the work myself but hesitant without a garage to work in. Stopped at Brake Masters for a brake exam and price check. I was give a thorough explanation of the problem. They were able to do the work for just a bit more than I could so made appt. Work was done on time and brakes have worked great since. Highly recommend!

So me and the family went to Lake Havasu for the weekend, Friday while loading the boat she decides not to start up! Had to swim the boat onto the trailer. The next morning I asked the front desk clerk where I could get a repair? She said she used the Brake Masters and to talk to Kevin! I didnt think she understood I wax having a boat issue, never the less I stopped by to see Kevin in case he knew of a reputable boat shop. In 20 min he had diagnosed my problem as a bad starter!Within an hour and 15 min Kevin had my boat starting right up! Really a brake shop? Kevin is the greatest and now the family and I can get on with our vacation! I cant thank Kevin and Brake Masters enough!! Only place Ill use from now on!

Was having the worst time with squeaky breaks. Changed the pads, lubed the break pins and everything. Finally I gave up and took it in to Brake Masters. They did a free inspection right then and there and after that they said the could fix the problem within an hour after inspection. Needless to say, my car doesn’t squeal at me anymore and I’m a happy customer. Would definitely recommend!

Messed my Tahoe up a year or so ago never again would I go there. After they didnt tighten my calibers cracked my rim and popped my tire plus cracked rear differential no joke...was stranded in Las Vegas for 2 days but they replaced the parts and I was able to drive home to Havasu.

They will LIE to you just to get as much money out of you as they can. We took our Dodge Ram in to see what was making noise underneath, they gave us a whole list of VERY expensive repairs that we needed including; upper and lower ball joints, wheel bearings, and rack & pinion, the total cost being around $2000. No way we could afford that, so we chose to have them repair the upper ball joints only, cost $607. The noise from underneath never went away, only got worse, we took it to a non-corporate local mechanic. His team went thru EVERYTHING and all they found was the U-joint needed to be replaced, all the other things from the Brake Masters list were just fine, they were totally full of crap. Now our truck runs GREAT, and all it cost to fix was $130, I only wish we hadnt wasted the $600 at Brake Masters before getting a second opinion. Can you say RIP OFF ARTIST??? Change their name to Fake Masters, that would be closer to the truth.

They didnt know what the issue was even after I told them, did half the work that needed to be done, sent me on my way and the brakes still locked up I took it back and they wanted to charge me another 230 bucks to do the rest of the work. I called Corp. They said I wasnt under warranty. Horrible customer service.

My worst auto repair experience EVER in 40 years!I took my 94 GMC crewcab dually in for a FREE brake inspection.......My truck has Full-Floating hubs in the back (as many 3/4 and 1-tons do), so the axles have to be pulled in order to get the drums/hubs off to inspect the brakes......It did not need rear brakes, but needed (still needs) front pads and rotors AND I was informed that if I wanted the rear re-assembled properly that it would cost $90 (nice FREE brake inspection!) I agreed to the job (almost $500!). on the front brakes and they immediately stopped putting the rear of my truck back together, saying they wouldnt do it till they had the parts for the front. By late the following evening, I realized this was just a ploy to keep my truck hostage while waiting for parts, since the front had not required disassembly to inspect.....I went down there on the morning of the third day to insist that the rear of my truck be re-assembled, brakes adjusted, and gear oil refilled as there was no reason not to proceed, AND I insisted on watching the process, since Id seen the tech s work habits during disassembly and didnt trust him to do a good job unless I watched. He was fully pissed at me/ the truck/ life in general by this time and I watched pretty much in silence as he did a piss-poor job of putting my track back together (leaving the hubs loose, not adjusting the brakes, not refilling the differential, etc)I basically paid the $90 as ransom to get my truck back and immediately drove it to the repair shop I normally use to get everything Brake Masters did redone properly plus brake adjustment and gear oil toppedThey had my truck over three days time and charged me $90 to return it to me in worse condition than they got it!After getting the truck back from my regular mechanic, I returned to BrakeMasters to ask for a refund and was told a district manager will call me.....Does anybody believe that Ill actually get my money back?

Me and my family will never use this please again, we had appointment for three vehicles and they only did two, they said somebody elses vehicle need to be done so they didnt get mine in, and they overfilled my dad two vehicles buy a quart of oil.
