Life Storage in Lake Forest is beyond exceptional. It was so easy to rent a unit and the space is safe, clean and accessible. Eric was so welcoming helpful in explaining everything. The facility is affordable and totally customer-centric. Five stars and more for this company.

I went to college in the area, and each of the four years I left my belongings here. The storage spaces were always clean, and I never had any issues renting, paying for or vacating them. Service was always friendly and attentive, as well. Overall, Id say this is an excellent choice - prices are affordable (though do make sure you only get as big a space as you need!), and you do get a very good service for what you are paying.

Cathy was incredibly helpful with getting everything set up after my sons first semester in college. She answered all of my questions and explained things very well. Good Location and good pricing. Push Carts could use a little maintenance but other than that no issues. This facility has a roll up door so you can pull your vehicle in and unload or load your items in an indoor environment.

I have rented there for years. No problems. They are always present and pleasant with help. A bit pricey for a third floor 10x15 locker. But it is a convenient drive from home. Also, excellent maintenance of facility.I recommend them.

Neat, clean and everything works (lights, heat, locks, elevator, garage doors, etc.). Only needed for a few months but will be the first place I talk to if I need storage space again.

Easy to access, clean, secure. I signed up online and showed up, was easy to figure out where my locker was, get inside and use the lock provided without contacting anyone.I used the locker for about 8 months and it was very easy and convenient to use. The staff at this location is very helpful and responsive if anything comes up. Ending my storage agreement was also easy. I would highly recommend this storage site for anyone looking for some extra space.

I moved here from Oregon last year and Life Storage has been absolutely amazing! They moved me into a great unit and have been very helpful with additional requests on my end. I just changed units in the same building and it was an upgrade for me . They also gave me a discount for a lot of moving blankets I needed for my home. They have a great staff and are very professional. This is the best storage and I can drive my car in to get to my storage unit. How great is that when it is raining or snowing.

She emailed the request to me to see if I wanted to respond. (I had given the shipper the storage address but had changed my phone number due to fraud.)Facility is nicely designed and I have had no problems with intrusion from the 100-year floods that seem to occur every few years.I would highly recommend this facility to anyone needing storage.

I have a storage locker in lake bluff and they couldnt care a bit about my business and yet the monthly rent continues to climb. So I went into Life Storage today simply to investigate moving my monthly rental to them. Cathy didnt try to sell me; she just chatted about their service and their facility. Sold!! The monthly price -a cost savings- is a bonus. Bottom line... If you need to rent a storage locker... you MUST see Cathy at Life Storage. Yes monthly rent is unavoidable if you want a storage locker. But If you are spending hard-earned cash why not receive both a locker (at a great price!!) AND fantastic customer service? Go there!!

After looking online and then having some follow up calls with other storage facilities it was clear many have hidden costs/ increasing rates after 6 months etc. Cathy and Eric who I interacted with at the Lake Forrest location were extremely helpful in assisting me to find the perfect unit for my needs. An informative and efficient sign up and walk- through made the process easy as possible. I signed up and pre-paid for a year in advance.
