I checked it out online, went in the next day and left with keys to my new storage space. Everything was quick and easy. The facility is very very clean and feels very very safe.

But I found this place to be absolutely perfect as it’s close to my house and the dog park I go to and not to mention the cleanliness is an absolute plus.I also cannot thank Olivia enough for helping me secure my storage. During a hot 98 degree weather day she took me touring through all the available storage rooms. She was so nice, patient and helpful and made the overall experience phenomenal that I decided to get another storage in the facility! I’m so sad to hear that she’s gonna be leaving soon to pursue her other goals. I can tell she definitely was a face that lit up the whole facility and everyone and anyone loved her.Absolutely cannot say anything bad about this place. Go get your next storage place here! This place is a very nice spot for RV’s for the most part. Management is friendly and having a dump station is very helpful. I have had storage here either trailer or rv for the past five years. I have been noticing more criminal activity here. Most recently, my RV catalytic converter was stolen. A few months before that, a 30 gallon sack of “contraband” was stuffed under my trailer. I am thinking more security is needed here beyond the cameras. When I told management about the incident I was told to call my insurance company. I would say their so called “exceptional” security is actually mediocre at best.

I rented a storage unit this week. The person who helped me was informative and helpful. He showed me different units so I could make my final choice. He even honored the web special price. I asked him about the first month being free special and he told me that the banner had an asterisk and that meant they could exclude the 1st month free if they were almost full. Which he said they were. I completed the transaction with him and put some things into storage today. I happened to access the website to show a friend in the neighborhood and I saw the asterisk meant that the discount excludes Administrative and Insurance fees, not the almost full bs. Well now I feel Ive been duped. Well played storage salesperson. Im not going to cancel my storage, but Im not going to give them the 5 stars I was expecting to either. If you get nothing else out of this review, please check your asterisks.Response to Owners Response: Free 1st Month When its Available? What does that mean? You put a banner on your location with free month. Your website says free month. Then you use my cookies after I went on your website to follow my wife and I around the web with your free month ad. Once we pull the trigger on a storage rental you say its not available. Very convenient for you. Great false advertising ploy. The discount is available when you make it available.Honestly, if you had never offered the discount I would have rented the space. But, because you used it as a carrot and then pulled it away I feel screwed. I changed my review to a one star. 90% of my reviews are 5 star. Not this one.Update:After 4-5 months they raised my monthly dues to demand. I ended up moving next store to the 🍊 storage place. Better price and I got my free month. No asterisk.

This is by far the absolute best location for any storage needs!!! The security is wonderful, a well protected area and beautiful neighborhood in Lake Forest as well. I cannot say enough about their wonderful staff; especially Mary! Mary, is not only pleasant and very customer service oriented but she is extremely helpful and knowledgeable! She works with you, is honest and very kind. In this difficult times that we are all experiencing its a comfort to know your personal belongings are protected and cared for by an employee like her! Just a blessed experience. First Matt was so helpful in fitting the right storage unit to our needs while driving me to all different units to choose from. So, so helpful. THEN - about a week later, I drove 90 minutes with a truckload to fill the unit and somehow managed to leave the key behind! Matt and Sonny teamed up to solve the problem - very creatively. They both went ABOVE AND BEYOND any type of service we have ever experienced, or expected. Strongly recommend.

I love Extra Space Storage in Lake Forest!! They are so friendly and professional here and they made the whole process very easy! This is the first time that my husband and I have ever looked into renting any kind of storage space, and this will be for a 12x33 parking space to store our new RV in. I was so happy to hear that they offered RV storage here, and they also have a dumping station too which is very important when you have an RV! It’s a very safe and clean environment there and we are so happy that we chose this company for our rental space. I will agree with others that a new manager is very unpleasant to deal with. He knows nothing about customer service. Old manager really understood life circumstances and was very compassionate. Wish he was still there, probably wouldnt have to look for a different place.

Ive been renting a space here for over a year now. About 3 weeks ago I noticed blood splattered on the storage door. Blood was also on the door across and a trail leading to the exit door. I told the office staff about this three weeks ago and let them know of my concern with covid and having blood on the storage door. They seemed concerned at the time, but never cleaned it up. One would think in this era of pandemic that they would want to clean up spilled blood to protect their customers.

Ive rented a space at this location for 16 years. Have seen many changes including ownership. I do refer others to rent here as it is a great location, safe, clean, & reputable. The employees KEVIN & ABRAHAM make you feel at home and do a super job maintaining the facility and always take care of the people who respect the property. My advice if you rent here, respect everyone, drive in and out with caution. The speed limit posted 5 for a reason. Also, There is a dog park next to this location with parking on Baffin. Dogs are full of excitement & sometimes can get out of their vehicles before their owners grab a hold of their leash. Please be respectful and pay close attention🐕

I like the facility. It is clean and the staff is nice. I do not like that they raise the rates every 6 months, at a certain point it will be unaffordable. They offer move in specials $100+ less than what Im paying and will not match the price. If you are looking for short term storage then I would say this place is perfect. If you are looking for long term storage (business owners) then I would look for a facility that wont raise the rate as often.

I went in to check out some storage units and Abraham answered all my questions and was really patient with me while i was working out some of my issues i was having. The facility is really clean and nice. I highly recommend this location if you are looking for some extra storage.

We needed a secure place to temporarily store our 30 travel trailer while visiting Southern California. Rodney, manager of the Lake Forest location, is courteous and professional and provided excellent customer service, calling prior to our arrival to go over details and make sure our needs were met.The property is clean and well maintained, and the storage areas are well organized. It was easy to get our trailer in and out of the facility.The access hours were great for us as we needed to pick up our trailer at 6:30 on a Sunday morning.Id highly recommend Extra Space Storage to anyone who requires short or long term storage in the Lake Forest area.

I pay for 6 different units with this company, I had a good experience with this company up until there was a mistake, I thought I had one spot and I guess I parked one spot over. Instead of kindly telling me this, they call me 5 times a day saying im parked on the line and you cant park on the lines. Not once did they simply say, hey your parked in the wrong spot. The staff here do not know how communicate and treat you like your not even a human, they are completely disrespectful.

The people here were friendly and I was lucky to find a spot. Joey gave me a tour in the golf cart to show me the property. Had my space same day and was out of there in an hour. Would highly recommend.

The place is clean, we have had our trailer there for about 5 years now. We’ve had one broken window that they would not be responsible for. Ok fine they can’t be responsible for everyone’s property damage. They started us off at a great price, but unless you pay the whole year upfront every year, your monthly payment will go up around $30 every year.At this point I’m wondering if it will ever stop. That amount of yearly inflation is too much.

I was very impressed by this facility. Looks fairly new and kept very clean. I used the outside RV parking Which had wide aisles so it is easy to maneuver my trailer. They also have an RV dump station that was clean. Rodney in the office was nice to deal with.

Saw an Internet rate of $70/month for a drive up 5x10, made a reservation online, came in the next day on my lunch break, and booked it under 20 mins. Staff member was professional, courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. The unit was brand new and the whole place looked clean. Would recommend!
