I always buying stuffs from Harbor Freight. Yesterday, I was returning the body repair tools because i don’t know how to use these tools. The gentleman at counter was very helpful but the computer didn’t process the return. i pulled out my two credit cards to scan on the computer but without luck. i placed my two credit cards on the counter and forgot to take the cards with me then left the store. After 30 minutes, I realized i left the cards at HF so i hurry back to find my credit cards. The same gentleman remembered me and informed my I’m a lucky person because a lady gave these credit cards to him. The manager checked my ID and returned my credit cards to me. I wanted to thank you to this lady and Harbor Freight for honesty. Yes, we do have good citizens in Orange County.

Great place for discount tools. Keep in mind they sell tools for the weekend warrior. So they are inexpensive. Keep that in mind. If you want tools for commercial use. You get what you pay for. Saying this, you can get lucky with some of Harbors tools. Always helpful and friendly staff.

I purchased a Predator 2000 generator from this store at the end of 2020. Like most people, I bought this unit as a backup unit. Last week I attempted to turn the thing on for the first time and I spewed white smoke and oil everywhere. The equipment was broken from the get-go.When I attempted to return the item, Matt (the store manager) refused to refund my purchase due to it being 90 days passed the return date. I can understand that if I simply had no use for it or decided against my purchase, but the thing was broken upon sale. Absurd.This is what I get for purchasing from Harbor Freight. What quality of service was I really expecting from their store manger? Seems like a recurring theme amongst these reviews that Matt is not fit for the job.

Went in there with a couple hundred in gift cards. Found a saw with a $104.99 price tag. Couldnt find it. Employee kept showing me a box that was obviously not the one tagged on display. Finally he agreed and said it is tagged wrong.Had the manager come over, after digging around he found the correct price tag and said we double tag with non display units. No where on the tag does it state Not displayed unit.Manager told me, thats the way it is. Really ? Thats the way it is ?You know, its bad enough your pricing is misleading to a customer, but the attitude, I can see why this store is never packed like the one in Orange.There was another guy buying tools that walked out also, have no idea how much he was planning on spending, but, now you lost two sales over attitude, good luck in the next year

Knowledgeable, responsive staff! I have HF tools which have lasted for years. Today, I bought a band file belt sander for $39. The nearest other brand price is over$200. Not the sleekest design, but sturdy and no frills and will do the job. Always read the reviews first!

I have gone to the El Toro Harbor Freight location in Lake Forest for the last five years, which is very handy for pretty much any project since it’s next to Home Depot. (I have developed the habit of going to Harbor Freight for tools and Home Depot for materials). But what a difference in customer-oriented service, not to mention the great prices at Harbor Freight!It didn’t take long to figure out that Edgar, now a supervisor, was always available to help me out with an in-depth knowledge of what would work for my project. And he’s always smiling, always in a good mood. All of the people that work at that location are experts and very professional, but Edgar has a great sense of humor and is always friendly, greeting me by name whenever I walk in.It’s so unusual to find someone so good at what they do and so customer friendly that I had to write a review, and it applies to the whole store; great attitude and never any problems if something didn’t work for me. In any case, I highly recommend Edgar and his teammates to anyone who needs tools and/or advice.

Their products are not designed very well I know its cheap but they have no form of function as pictured, they need to change their design.

Theyre like the 99cent store for auto and home. Well, not really .99 but you get what I mean. Their pricing is terrific but when they have a coupon sometimes the pricing is absurd. They have just enough in every department to cover the basics and more. Bought the best garden hose ever here. Best price on a car jack, torque wrench, clamps, etc. You have to stop in and check it out but before you go go online and check the coupons.

So happy to have HF in town now. The prices and sales are amazing. attending a parking lot weekend sale is a must if you want an amazing deal on tools and other random things that you end up needing even if you didnt plan on needing it on the drive over... The Parking lot sales are once every 2 months or so, the prices start around 15-25% off Friday and the amount off goes up Saturday to around 45-50% off and Sunday 75-90% off until everything they started with Friday is pretty much all gone... Great way to get some amazing deals and find unique tools and gadgets. A+++++ AWESOME PLACE

Hey guy! I buy all kinds of tools at Harbor Freight. Some Ive had for more than ten years and are still working! Well I bought a Power Inverter last year in October, I believe, and it faulled up about three weeks ago. I forgot if i had purchased it with a warranty or not. So I drove down to my local store and asked a cashier about my dilema. Robert, the store manager, quickly looked through the computer system, and found my name and date of purchase. I got a new inverter, and added 2 year warranty. How do I love Harbor Freight? 100%!!!! Thats how much I live this place!!! Ive never purchased a tool I didnt use hard ever, that failed with out a good reason. And their warranties on electronic items has never failed me. Trust me, you will like your purchases here. Always buy a warranty, it pays to do so. 😊

Harbor freight is one of the most friendly helpful clean organized places and the prices are extremely in value of your wallet that place is just something I wasnt in Arizona and I went through all the time and now Im in Mission Viejo and I go there all the time down by the freeway the interstate 5 freeway I have never found a better place to go shopping for tools and hardware and anything like that paint brushes are you name it on batteries extremely good prices glues and tapes and everything and the courtesy of the employees is outstanding the store is clean and its easy to find what you want and I am just very very impressed with the store I recommend it to everyone I know

Prices are insanely good.I wouldnt get something to last, like a drill, here, but if you want a $10 angle grinder or a $6 18 machete then this is the place for you.Organization and labeling of aisles can be a bit confusing at times. Unless I need something very specific or durable, this has replaced lowes and home depot for me

Bought gear to remove and transplant plant palm trees along with anything else I felt I needed and was a good buy. Went during a sale, (but when are they not having a sale haha) around Christmas. Store was organized and clean, staff helpful. Tried to buy stuff made in USA. Got a sweet 17lb post hole digging bar. Made cutting roots and leveraging out the 12ft Pygmy palms with a 2 ft root ball possible. Still a hell of a workout.

Good selection of tools at low prices. They also have regular coupon deals which can save a significant amount, but make sure the cashier scans your coupon. Theyll ask for your phone number but that doesnt pull up the coupons they mailed to you.

Love tools? Love Harbor Freight! I happen to love tools and random gadgets so Harbor Freight is one of my favorite places on earth to be! I think its a pretty good assumption that most people know you get what you pay for. At H. F. the prices are outstanding and the products are simply good, for the most part. Sometimes, but rarely, excellent and a little more frequently, but not enough to stop me from shopping there, subpar. I hate to even say that because the fact is, I love this place! Let me put it this way, if you love tools and havent been, go! You’ll have a blast! I highly recommend it!

If I could give 0 stars I would! I purchase tools there often for my business and usually have little issue. A few days ago I purchased a tool on clearance. I removed the tool from the box to use and it was broken. I took the tool back to the store to receive a refund, not expecting an issue since they sold me defective merchandise. I spoke with the manager who was incredibly rude and refused refund because it was a sale item. Normally this would be understandable, if the tool hadn’t been just purchased and it was not broken. She offered no apology and was more interested in that $40 dollars than providing any semblance of decent customer service. I will NEVER shop here for my business again and I will pass the message along to fellow business owners not to purchase at this establishment either.

I have been to many Harbor Freight stores all over the country. This one happens to be my local store and is the cleanest and most well organized store I have been to. I have probably been to this store over 100 times and only once did a staff member not know where to locate an item. (chain breaker)

Great Tool store. Yes its not the brand name and all Asians built tools. Affordable for those simple rotating and impacting tools. In a most cases for the home owner a very affordable way of accomplishing some of those house projects with significant savings in simple motors and hand tools.

Everybody loves Harbor Freight. It is a store that has enabled millions of Americans to fix their stuff, make things, tune their cars without having to use expensive professionals. This particular location is clean, it is ample, new, the staff is helpful - when you need to find an item you do not have to chase them down, they proactively make sure you are finding what you need. They also show on the store floorspace some items, like drill presses, that smaller Harbor Freight stores only keep in the back.

Theyve got great deals but the personnel working there are only friendly and helpful if youre a man. They greeted everyone that walked in except me. They asked several people if they needed help, except me. They looked right at me both times and still just ignored me as if I were invisible. It was smiling at the obviousness....maybe they thought I was mental because I was smiling? I dont get it but oh well. It happens. But its not gonna keep me out of the hardware stores.

In general, if you need a tool once and can spare the cussing of the tool kinda working exactly once before exploding, harbor freight is the place to go. Be sure to have a current coupon (check online) to get your 20% off one item and free tape measure or whatever.There are some really good deals to be had. For example: an automatic center punch at the home depot across the street costs $15, harbor freight has one for under $4.The best thing HF has done in the past few years is head towards a Good/Better/Best system. This means you can still get dirt cheap tools if you want, but theres also nicer quality tools that still are a bargain compaired to other house-brand tools (Husky, Kobalt, Kirkland...) and even some tools that compete with high end discount brands (e.g. Blue-Point). The quality of the nicer ratchets and wrenches has exceeded my expectations, and even some of the flashlights are impressive.The main negative is that in my experience, this location in particular usually ends up with long checkout lines and a confusing queuing structure. Maybe its when I go, but theres usually someone doing a complicated transaction and another person getting something loaded in their car stalling both registers.

Best place to get tools. I got a hose, some work gloves, an orbital sander, and a bunch of little things and spent half what I would spend at Home Depot. Love Harbor Freight.

Harbor Freight has its own reputation and I wont go too much into that. The store is one of the smaller ones, and as a result product selection suffers. They have a good general selection, but anything specialized probably wont be there and needs to be purchased on line. Having said all that, its nice to have it there and beats driving to the next closest one, some 15 miles away.

From the moment I walked in the door I was treated with polite, courteous and helpful service. This was by far the cleanest and most organized Harbor Freight Ive ever been to.I went in to buy an Adjustable Trailer Hitch and Supplies. Adam was very knowledgeable and helpful. He answered every question I had.Ive been to Harbor Freight Stores from CA. to FL., and this one was definitely the Best of the Best. 5 Star Plus Service.

Great if you know what tools to buy . Actually is a guy online that compares Harbor Freight Tools two other tools and will let you know which are the best and equal to. If I can remember the name I tell you but its a good on YouTube just look up Harbor Freight comparing tools and he he will come up. Everytying under the sun as usual. Everything pretty much on sale too. The people at this location are very helpful and friendly. If more than 2 people in line, they bring somebody up to jump on a register. Not sure if this is policy, but from my experience going in 5-6 times now it seems to be what happens.
