Really nice place with friendly baristas who know their stuff .. great open area with plenty of seating and a fireplace for those cold days and nights in Lake Forest

Had a meeting at Starbucks. We each got a drink and the staff let us talk for several hours. It was early afternoon and there were many other places for others. I had an iced latte...very good.

We stopped during the art fair. Of course it was crowded and they handled it well. Latte to be enjoyed at an outdoor table on a beautiful day. Fun at the art fair and Starbucks capped it off.

Love how they kept the outside of this store to fit the scenery and the location. As soon as you walk in, super awesome modern looking store. Great layout, excellent partners, very knowledgeable and passionate about coffee. Try the Reserves!

I love this location, very nice inside, more merchandise options compared to others but they lack in the service department. Twice they got my order wrong.. barista couldnt even get a regular coffee right.

Regular here; theres good service and my order always tastes great. Baristas are friendly and work hard, this is one of my favorite Starbucks to go to, occasionally I even drive out of the way to get coffee here sometimes, but its worth it. 👍

This Starbucks is very nice and different from other Starbucks places. Very nice customer service and good selection of different varieties of coffee beans from different parts of the world. Coffee preparation takes longer time and more expensive, but it by the end you will get a perfect cup of your favorite drink. And location is very convenient as well.

Always a great experience with The Reserve! Friendly people with a bustling atmosphere. I always like trying the seasonal drinks and Reserve exclusive espressos.

Its a fancy schmancy Starbucks in upscale Lake Forest, and they pull it off well. Definitely one of the most high-end coffee shops in the chain with lots of speciality brewing equipment and limited edition blends available for $7, $8, it more pet cup. Fortunately, they also have all the usual selections at typical Starbucks prices. TIP: Stop by to get your regular fix and come back when youre ready to redeem your stars for a free drink. Last summer they had a bourbon-barrel aged ice coffee that was priced in the stratosphere but tasted amazing.The service is generally pretty good. Always friendly and professional. Occasional mistakes that they are very helpful about fixing. Not surprising to encounter some mix-ups given how busy they get -- especially on Sundays after church lets out.The courtyard in back its terrific, often filled with a mix cyclists and dogs on the weekends.If Starbucks coffee is in your rotation and youre in the area, this is definitely worth checking out.

I come here almost every day while I wait for the Metra. Its a very nice Starbucks and has great Reserve drinks that you cant get in other stores. The reason Im giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that its not clean - there is often debris on the floors and used cups and trash on the tables. Understandable considering this is an extremely high traffic store due to the train station, but the management should account for that when they decide on how much staff to employ to keep the place clean.

Was passing through Lake Forest and needed my morning cup of coffee and decided to stop in. First off, wow, this location is beautiful. Everything from the layout, to the furniture, to the decor, is aesthetically pleasing and elegant. I wish there was more locations like this in downtown Chicago.

As for Starbucks, best one Ive ever patronized. The atmosphere doesnt feel cookie cutter and corporate. I was served a double espresso in an actual cup with a free chaser of San Pell on a nice wooden tray. Nicely done Starbucks.

Yes, this is just a Starbucks like the John Hancock is just a building. This is among the best SBUX stores. Free parking for 90 minutes on the street right in front and up and down the block. Tons of seating, and great fireplace if you’re lucky enough to find that table open.

This location makes a really good first impression. It is a large space with a lot of coffee options; big front windows and fireplace in the back section. There are many different seating options. At first I was very impressed; however, the entire front area was reserved for people/party/group that had not yet arrived. Others were saving one or more seats so I think there was one seat left in the entire place. It was also really loud. I’d try it again but generally I like to go to a Starbucks where I know I can get a seat.

This is a classy place and the Reserve Bar is a HUGE credit to Lake Forest. The employees are super friendly and have forgotten more about coffee than Ill ever know. A delicious and unique selection makes for a must-visit location for coffee/Starbucks fans.

One of the coolest Starbucks Ive been to. The atmosphere is great and for a place that gets a lot of traffic, the service is pretty fast.

The atmosphere is the main reason to come here. There are plenty of spots to sit down and do any work you have or to meet with others. In terms of the coffee, it can be hit or miss. I once had a Nitro Chai that was unbearable, but when I got a simple latte I wasnt mad. While I would recommend going to a local coffee shop instead to support the local economy, this place it not that bad.

A newer, very nice, large Starbucks. Its the biggest Starbucks Ive visited. It was very busy when we there. Like I said it is a big Starbucks and loud too.
