I cannot say enough good things about White Dress Bridal Boutique. I live in California and was recently in Illinois visiting family. Ive had two bridal appointments in CA and two in Chicago and hadnt found anything that I loved so far. One of my cousins suggested trying White Dress Bridal while I was visiting her in Lake Forest and Im so grateful I did! First off the boutique is beautiful. The owner, Christina, is so nice and has done an amazing job in creating a personal, unique, and elegant bridal experience. White Dress Bridal is the only boutique Ive been to that offers shoes to try on with the dresses so you can really see what they will look like. Secondly Rachel, the bridal stylist, is absolutely amazing. She is friendly, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable about wedding dress design! She knew literally every detail about ALL the dresses they carry and was able to tell me exactly what changes could be made for each dress. She was very knowledgeable about all the designers and works closely with the reps to get you exactly what you want for your dress. Rachel is definitely the type of person that will go above and beyond to get you exactly what you want. I truly cannot speak highly enough of her. Rachel honed in on exactly what I wanted without even having to look at any of my inspiration pictures. In the previous appointments Ive had at other boutiques, the stylists pulled maybe one or two dresses that I liked towards the end of the appointment but not anything that was a winner. I felt great in all the dresses Rachel pulled for me and it was by far my best appointment! I did find a dress I loved, but wasnt quite ready to say yes that day as I didnt have my mom with me. But I can tell you right now that Im going to try that dress on in CA and then give Rachel a call to order it for me! I wish that White Dress Bridal Boutique was closer to me so I could send everyone I know there to have as wonderful of a bridal dress experience as I did!

I absolutely loved my experience at the White Dress Bridal Boutique in Lake Forest. I originally was planning to make the drive from Chicago to Milwaukee for their Milwaukee location as most brides do, but I managed to wait until opening day in Lake forest AND I AM SO GLAD I DID! Courtney was a wonderful stylist and made me feel incredibly beautiful in all of the dresses. She picked up on my reactions and helped answer all of my questions about alterations, sizing, and accessories. I am SO happy that The White Dress is now in the Chicago-land area. I should say that their dresses are absolutely gorgeous and that their accessories were the cherry on top! I am So happy I bought my dress at the White Dress and cannot wait for my Fiancé to see me in it!

The White Dress is absolutely worth a visit! The store is beautifully designed and merchandised and you get a near-private experience for you and your guests. Nicole did a great job of guiding us through each dress but also giving us space to think about our decision. Her suggestions were thoughtful and helpful and she always sought to understand what I liked and didnt like about each dress. They make you feel very comfortable and beautiful, and most importantly confident in making a decision. I had been to 7 other places before finally being able to come to White Dress - it was worth the wait & in the end, I said YES!

Magical! As the mother of the bride, this by far was the most beautiful experience! The store is lovely and Rachel brought her expertise and personality to the table. She was thoughtful, gave her insight but stepped back to give everyone a chance to look at the dresses and think through the possibilities. The first visit we had two favorites but on a return visit Nicole - the delightful manager - had another dream possibility on loan for my daughter! From beginning to end this was the most cared about experience and truly the most beautiful selection of dresses! We said yes to the dress the second visit and everyone is very excited for the summer wedding! Thankful for this magical memory - the only thing that can top this is to see my daughter wear her beautiful dress!Thank you!!!

My cousin made an appointment at White Dress for a niece. We had already been to a shop in downtown Chicago and one in Naperville. White Dress was by far the best experience. The shop owner has exquisite taste and the selection was outstanding. The person that assisted us was extremely knowledgeable, patient and positive. She was so good....that after a quick description of my nieces likes and dislikes....she was put in a dress (her first one that afternoon) which will probably be the one. She was also encouraged to try on several more.....all of which were lovely.I live in the city.....but if ever asked Id tell people to make the trek to Lake Forest for White Dress. Its the best bridal boutique in the Chicago area! You wont be disappointed.

White Dress in Lake Forest, IL is definitely the best place in the Chicago suburbs to find your wedding dress! The store is beautiful and the staff are amazing! Their selection of dresses and knowledge is unbelievable. The whole experience just felt right. It was such an intimate setting, with a cozy robe and a fan in the dressing room. The pedestal and mirrors for showcasing the dress made me feel like royalty and I absolutely loved the personal attention of the stylist and the owner, Christina. Hands down the best boutique I visited and I highly recommend it!

I had the best experience with Rachel!! Shes charismatic, knowledgeable and patient. Shes been in the industry for quite sometime all over the country and truly cares about the happiness of her Clients. She listened to my likes and dislikes and I found the perfect dress for my wedding, I could not be happier!! I would 110% recommend!!

My appointment at White Dress was amazing. This is by far the best store I went to, from the selection to the customer service. I had been to 8 stores already and this was the best. Rachel was amazing. She was so patient and helpful and easy to talk to and work with. One of the dresses I wanted to try on was a dress that I had seen in the window a few weeks earlier after describing it she realized they no longer had the dress as it was part of the trunk show. This is where Rachel really went above and beyond. She went and found where the trunk with that dress was currently at (a different store in downtown Chicago). Provided me with the dress name, and the store name. She really did help me find my dream dress even though it wasnt at her store.

My entire experience at White Dress was exceptional! So many things I loved: location, environment -how clean and not cluttered it is, the designers they carry, attentiveness of the stylist- Courtney is phenomenal! She isnt pushy, she is helpful and shares her knowledge, she gives you suggestions for changes in case you love the dress but want something a big different, she is just beyond! I also loved the fact that you book an appointment and your group has the stylists full attention. I went to 3 places prior to and they all were different- but good customer service overall. White Dress goes the extra mile though! You just feel special as soon as you walk in the door and Im so happy that I am saying YES to a DRESS from there! Thank you!! I would highly recommend this location to everyone searching for their perfect gown!!

I initially was nervous about finding the dress, and the moment we stepped into White Dress Bridal Boutique (the Lake Forest location), we knew we were in good hands. First, they let you browse their dresses yourselves, second, their selection is unreal, and third, their service is the best of ANY places we went to during the dress hunt. Nicole, their manager, goes above and beyond (they ordered a dress by Pronovias on loan for me to try on on my second visit), and Rachels patience was unreal as we returned for a second visit, where I ended up getting a dress I tried on during my first visit. Their accessories are also on point, their knowledge on designers is impressive, and they have several personal touches to make your experience truly memorable and special. I assure you, come here, and you WILL find your dress. The only constructive feedback I would give is their communication... their store is only open on the weekends in Lake Forest, so perhaps that is why, but the email communication was sub-par, so I had to call, and any question/request was resolved. Hopefully this will change as when we left on our second/final visit, Nicole emailed me straight away... so I hope email communication will be better now that we wait for the arrival of the dress. All in all, I would only recommend this boutique for bridal shopping... and I live in the city of Chicago, so it was worth the drive!

I HIGHLY recommend White Dress to all brides! It was the first place I went on my search for the perfect dress and it exceeded all expectations. The boutique is absolutely pristine, the dress selection was fantastic, and most importantly the stylists were kind, professional, and a pleasure to work with. Dress shopping is special day for all brides and my stylist Heidi made me feel so special both days I met with her! The owner Christina was also fantastic and helped me find a perfect belt to compliment my dress :) SO thankful I was recommended to this boutique and bought my dress there, I absolutely love it! My experience at White Dress was phenomenal! The store was so beautiful and I loved the quiet atmosphere. Compared to my other bridal appointments, I felt much calmer and I felt I had the full attention of my stylist Meggie throughout the appointment. The store had a beautiful assortment of dresses and I loved that I was given the chance to browse through and choose what I wanted to try on. Meggie gave me the chance to form an opinion on my own about the dresses and was not pushy in any way. I will be returning back to make my final decision and I am so happy to give the White Dress my service!

Beautiful store in the heart of Lake Forest! They stock several brands that you cant find elsewhere, not even in downtown Chicago. The staff is great, and the owner personally called me prior to my appointment to ensure that she was on board with the look I was searching for. I have yet to make my purchase, but definitely considering choosing from these ladies!

I visited White Dress Bridal Boutique with my daughter on the first day they opened in Lake Forest. Since it was their first day open, I thought they might be a bit disorganized and scattered. However, our experience was quite the contrary. From the minute my two daughters and I walked into the boutique, their attention to detail was impeccable. It is an absolutely gorgeous space which has been decorated with beautiful furniture and accessories! They carry a large assortment of dresses and their care for them is pristine. Heidi, my daughter Kelsey’s stylist, asked a lot of questions and really listened to Kelsey as she told her about her style ideas and taste in dresses. Heidi took so much time with Kelsey and has so much expertise in the wedding dress field. We had to return the next day as Kelsey wanted to try on the dress she loved again and also wanted to see if White Dress carried a dress she had loved at another boutique. Thank goodness they had both dresses as we really wanted to buy her dress there! She said “yes to the dress”’at White Dress and we couldn’t be happier. If you are looking for a beautiful wedding dress and want that once in a lifetime experience, go to White Dress immediately. You won’t be disapponted. I literally cannot say enough good things about White Dress!!!! Brides: you NEED to come here!! I had a dress nightmare where my original dress (from another store) ended up not fitting correctly and I was unable to fix it, so I ended up being 3.5 months away from my wedding without a dress. Christina, Courtney, and Maggie literally saved my wedding!!!! I have been to about 6 boutiques since the original dress fiasco and most of them basically said there’s nothing they can do for me, but from the first time I called White Dress they were legit willing to move mountains to find me a dress. I’ve never seen such amazing customer service and I wouldn’t have been able to find a dress for my wedding without them. As we were leaving my sister even said that she 100% plans on coming back when she shops for her wedding dress (and she’s not even engaged yet!). I could literally talk for hours about how amazing they are, and I could not recommend them more!! THANK YOU AGAIN!!!

Rachel was amazing! White Dress Bridal is definitely one to impress! Their dress selection was excellent, the attention to detail and customer service were great, and I learned a lot about dresses and wedding day to dos while there. I would definitely recommend looking for a dress here and letting Rachel guide you through the dress selection process and beyond!

I will warn every future bride I know in the Milwaukee or Chicago area- go somewhere else! While they really made the appt a memorable and fun experience, the process after leaving the boutique was a nightmare. They ordered the wrong color dress and insisted that it was the same as the one I tried on in the store (I had pictures that showed two totally different colors). They ordered rhinestones straps when I specified that I wanted satin. They blamed both of those mixups on a new sales person (but the owner was behind the desk with her when she placed the order) and they offered a small discount on jewelry in the store. They wanted to send the dress to a US location of the manufacturer where they would take it apart and remake it. I was in tears on the phone trying to explain to them that that would no longer be a new dress. We paid full price for a new dress, and that dress would’ve been a rebuilt/refurbished dress in my eyes. I was also worried about the time that would take because it took 6 months to get the dress to begin with. I asked them, for the sake of time, to parallel path the production of a new dress. Thankfully they agreed because the new dress arrived first. It took 8 months before I had the correct dress in hand. It was then that I realized we’d ordered the wrong size. They had insisted on ordering a size up even though the dress I tried on fit perfectly and I knew I’d lose a little weight. I trusted them because they’re supposed to be the experts. I ended up spending $660 in alterations because the dress had to be tailored in every single area and the fabric and shape of the back was difficult to take in. I took it to two different tailors who said the same thing. It never ultimately fit me as perfectly as it did in the salon, and when I reached out to the boutique with my frustrations, I felt like they just waved me off. A very disappointing experience.
